Hiya! The fic I'm looking for is a Genshin Impact fic, I forgot the author's name, and the title was "Venti's Home for Unruly Dragons (and Xiao)"

All i remember is something w/ Dvalin somehow..laying eggs?? Venti tasked w/ trying to keep an eye on them and it ends up w/ him either in the Dawn Winery or some sorta spare room in the Angel's Share w/ the eggs and I forgot how Xiao plays into it (probably ship stuff) but like... basically what it says on the tin /lh

can't remember much else past that 'cus it's been like a year or so since I touched the fic.

I tried to search for it on ao3 and even the search bar said it's like Gone so... I was wondering if anyone had it saved or a wayback machine link or something along those lines?

Anyone seen this?

so there was this percy jackson fanfic that I've been looking for, and I vaguely remember that the plot went something like: the fates had a prophecy or told the gods that percy was essentially their soulmate? but that wasn't the term they used, it was like 'companion' or something like that. and i can't remember if this was in the same fic, but the gods kind of sneakily turned percy immortal under the excuse of saving his life after an accident. then they kept percy on olympus to make sure he didn't run away, and i think he lived in like a palace or a tower or something up there. i can't remember much more other than there was one scene between percy and athena where athena was trying to talk with him and get to know him better and percy was still mad at the gods, so he called athena 'annabeth' and basically told her that if she wanted to spent time with him, he would pretend that she was annabeth just to mess with her. and i think the title of the fic had something related to the ocean? i can't really remember it. i think i first read it on fanfic.net tho. thanks!

ok so this is a really odd one but i remember a fanfic i read when i was younger. Possibly the first fanfic i read

It was a wander over yonder fanfic where wander got... executed by electric chair and the buildup to it? Kinda like a dark version of if the bad guy won. It was either on ffn or deviantart. Thats all i remember. That and there was at least one piece of fanart for it

i remember back in like 2015/2016 there was a fic that i’m sure got deleted bc i remember the name and it just doesn’t exist anymore :,)

it was called Big Hero Glitch and it was a wreck-it ralph/big hero 6 crossover where all the video game characters were human with normal names (i’m pretty sure vanellope was vivian but the former was still her nickname, etc etc) and ralph was vanellope’s uncle, and she and hiro were long lost childhood friends who reunited a few years after the events of bh6

the fic was discontinued before it was deleted i think, there were like 5-7 chapters and they were so well written and it was really building up to a cool story where vanellope was clearly gonna join the heroes wearing this glitchy teleportation suit they were working on and aaaaa

i know there’s no hope of finding it and even if there were it’s a wip i just wanted to rant about it it’s been in my head rent free since 6th grade

I remember this one Eddsworld fic I read a wile ago. And I do mean a while, it was like 2017. It was a Tord redemption fic, no romance plots or anything, and it was my favorite. It was on AO3, and the author had a whale pfp. The title had something to do with sunsets or sunrises, I can't remember which. It was pretty long, I think 37ish chapters, and it along with the author's account seem to have vanished, likely deleted. I wish I could reread it, if only to remember why I liked it so much.

I remember at the start, Tord woke up like right as they were gonna amputate his arm and changed his mind about getting it taken off, so he just had one working arm for like 25 chapters before they had to get rid of it due to circumstances beyond any of their control. He also almost dies like twice throughout, and he can't swim. And I think he's also half-deaf

Hi, I'm looking for a Kingdom Hearts fic that I'm pretty sure has been deleted... I forgot the title but it was a Dream Drop Distance AU where the concept of Darkness got in a fight with Xehanort Darkness over who got to keep Sora. It was a really cool sequence about fire and icy shadows fighting each other in the dive to heart before heading into a tutorial ish section. I didn't get very far after, just enough to see them describe the concepts of different "Zones" which would affect people's emotions (red would make you angry, blue sad, and I think yellow made you tired??) and that's as far as I got. Last I remember it was on FFnet but when I looked for it again I couldn't find it. :( Any help would be appreciated :).

There was this Bendy and the ink machine fanfic on Wattpad that recently got deleted I think. I forgot it's name, but it was about Henry getting turned into a child and then making friends with the people trapped in the studio like in an Undertale pacifist run.

Looking for a fanfic I read probably like, pre-2010? It was a Spongebob fanfic about Spongebob and Sandy having a kid who goes to highschool. But the thing that made it stand out was that it had some trans characters in it. If I remember correctly there were two fish who were siblings and both of them were trans? I think this fic was the first trans rep I ever witnessed as a little kid so I'm sad that I can't find it ehe

This is something I'd like to archive, since I've lost and rediscovered it twice over the years, and I want to be sure I can always find it. It's a Team Fortress 2 fic called The Lessons, and it's surprisingly emotional.

This is sort of an AU-ish setting where there's no respawn, and multiples of many classes with all different names. RED is vastly outnumbered by BLU. The main character is the only RED Scout, and each chapter is about him learning some lesson in teamwork and camaraderie. This sounds like it might be a bit childish, but they tackle issues like death and trauma very well, from what I remember.

Submitting my lost and found story as encouragement.

So, I'm a trans guy and I still get periods whilst on my currently low dose of T and it makes me mad dysphoric. So I often look for fanfics centered on trans-specific period comfort because goddamnit, I need that!

Enter: e6 series shinkansen. A Pokémon fic centered on Ingo and Emmet that I found and I loved and it was the inagural member of my comfort fic collection.

And then it was deleted the next month-ish.

I almost lost hope. But I scoured my browser history and found one person archived it on the Internet Archive's wayback machine back in 2022! Huzzah!

In conclusion, do not lose hope! And maybe in a pinch, ask TV Tropes's You Know That Show forum, because that's for all media types too.

hey there! lookin for a tf2 fic - it was a short story, titled something like ‘messages’ (i think), and in retrospect was probably for a -tober thing

the story/setting is more similar to the game than the comics/trailers - both teams are the exact same people, and each class knows the other side’s class is basically the same person. Spy goes up to an attic (to search for something?) and finds the Sniper shooting arrows out of a window. Sniper explains this is how him and the other sniper communicate, by tying letters to arrows and shooting them to each other. i dont remember much after this, but Spy asks about the name situation, and Sniper says that they just use nicknames for each other (forgot what they are). The ending takes place from the other Sniper’s perspective, where an arrow with a tupperware box is sent over, a slice of pavlova with a fork inside. (i only remember this vividly because i hadn’t heard of pavlovas before this fic)

I read this fic at least six years ago and haven't been able to find it again.

It's a Twilight AU fic that was posted to FF dot net.

Edward is a human, child prodigy pianist. Iirc he'd broken contact with his family after growing up and moving out due to being neglected during his childhood - his parents had both been busy with their own careers.

One day, he collapses (after being ill for some time?) and someone finds him in his apartment eventually. After a hospital stay, he returns home blind. He sinks further into resentment due to his inability to even play the piano now.

At some point, a young Bella shows up at his doorstep. She's moved into the apartment complex recently? or moved in with her father who has lived there already?. She's a girl scout or something of the sort and starts bugging Edward in an almost Russel from the Up Movie way. She vacuums for him.

Bella starts coming over more and Edward gets more used to her? At some point she tries to look at a picture, so she moves a drape of some sort covering it, which pisses Edward off. It's a picture of his family - even if he can't see the picture anymore, he still knows it's there and doesn't want her to see. He kicks her out(?)

After Bella doesn't come back for a long time, Edward asks her father about her and finds out that she's passed away / in hospital due to illness. Edward is shocked because she always seemed cheerful and not sickly.

I don't know what exactly happens next, but something compels Edward to start playing the piano. It's horribly out of tune, but he plays it - he never needed his vision because he has the muscle memory. At some point it's said that he should call someone to tune it, but he plays the out-of-tune piano for a long time anyway (hours?).

The fic closed with a sentence that went something like "Life is like a piano. There are good days and bad days like there are white keys and black ones. You need both to play." (This is not the exact wording.)

I've had brain worms from this fic ever since I read it and cried over it. I appreciate any help.

Once Bitten, New Life, a Snake! Jay AU fic posted to fanfic dot net a few years ago which must have been deleted, in it, instead of reversing the transformation fully, reaching his full potential froze Jay in the stage he was in, rendering it incurable, a couple things I remember about it, first, Jay was able to communicate with turned machines, second, Jay was turning into a venomari and he got venomari venom on his pillow

I've sadly never gotten to read it, but I did hear about it on deviantart on some fanart
