thinking again about how much posturing kon gets up to every time he tries to flirt with women + how completely his behavior changes when he's actually in a relationship. like yes every time he sees a conventionally attractive girl he's like "helllooooo nurse!!!!" (perhaps, perchance, just like the teenage boys in all the 90s media cadmus downloaded into his head do?) but in his actual relationship with tana (aka the longest on-page relationship he had), he spends the entire time just trying to make her happy and trying to be what she wants him to be. like he's just trying to play a part, almost. kon-el they will never convince me you actually experience attraction to women

I’m still thinking about Hartley Rathaway and how he dedicated years of his life and career to building that particle accelerator. I’m thinking about how the only “good” relationship he had with anyone as an adult was with EoWells, because his parents had disowned him and he was kind of dick but EoWells encouraged that and isolated him from the rest of his coworkers (calling him “his guy”, spending too much time together, playing chess, etc. - not to mention the fact that Hartley clearly knew where he lived and whatnot when Cisco, Caitlin and Barry had never even gone in there). Thinking about how EoWells groomed him to the point where Hartley had placed his trust in him solely, and so when that trust was broken, nobody believed Hartley. Because the only person Hartley had was EoWells. Thinking about how when Hartley tried to the right thing anyway - it didn’t work. The accelerator “malfunctioned” and his life, his DNA, and his body were all changed because of it. And so were hundreds of other people’s. Not to mention the fact that other people died because of it. No good deed goes unpunished. Thinking about how he was right about EoWells all along, and he never found out everything. Thinking about how he must’ve felt hearing the man he once he cared for so deeply, the man who hurt him, the man who had already betrayed him, had confessed to a murder that happened years before he ever knew him. Thinking about what kind of life he must’ve had in the S1 timeline. He’s such a fascinating character, I really wish we got more of him in the earlier seasons.

Maybe I'm on my own here but I've been rewatching s10 (again lol) and a thought popped into my head.

I wonder if Mickey insisted on wearing white and walking down the aisle as it made him the "bride" in a way (metaphorically speaking). He already turned into a groomzilla, wanting the big gay wedding with flowers and a cake and of course, the gold chivari chairs.

And while part of it was just to spite Terry, I can't help but wonder it was also because it was another way for him to own his sexuality and be the "most gay" he could be....in the sense that, being the (symbolic) "bride" or "bottom" on the day was his way of saying "fuck you Terry" but also saying "yeah, I'm fucking gay".

Also, maybe he wanted it to be the complete opposite of his first "wedding", his own creation, something he chose, something big and colourful and beautiful because he was actually happy to get married....

Regardless, it makes my heart so full to see Mickey Milkovich wearing white and walking towards his fiancé/husband with a smile on his face, surrounded by blue stargazer lillies (I hope he still had them) and laughing about that topper, as they feed each other cake. 😭❤🌈

so I can't stop thinking about your dragon au. How did Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu meet? Are they Liushen before they're Bingliushen or just pining messes?

The timeline is a little different in this au, meaning that Binghe is going to become a disciple at the sect but not until later (which means he never had to experience SJ), but they meet in the typical Lingxi caves type of situation. Except having a Qi Deviation is Much more dangerous when you are capable of turning into a fuck off sized dragon in a cave system that is not necessarily meant for full size dragons. Lqg treats SY with a lot of caution for a while because he recognizes that this person is (or at least was) SJ!Sqq, but knows that something is very different given that SY!Sqq has different coloration and an entirely different demeanor. He acts on this caution by being around SY a lot to observe him and tries to fight him a few times like he would with SJ but SY always declines.

Eventually they warm up to each other (SY always treated him as SY typically treats Lqg, teasing and whatnot) and as soon as SY realizes Lqg is being more friendly with him he is ecstatic and is even more teasing and friendly and invites Lqg into his hoard and home to hang out and eat together.

Which of course means that SY unknowingly initiates and engages in dragon courting!! And very intimate dragon behaviors that leave Lqg so so confused and scared and happy all at the same time. The little bit of angst in there is that Lqg thinks that this half-baked relationship means nothing to Sqq because of how he doesn’t quite reciprocate things correctly and that he’s just one in Sqq’s long string of lovers and meanwhile SY!Sqq is just like :D wow! How dragons interact with their friends is so interesting (They’re pretty much moved in with each other and almost having gay sex and scent marking each other) (Lqg has given up most of his hoard to Sqq)

So essentially yeah, they’re both happy (one of them reluctantly so) and have their weird not quite a relationship going on for a while and it doesn’t progress past that until plot happens and Binghe returns as an adult to court his Shizun and Sqq is bonked over the head with O h there’s two people trying to date me o.o

I’m a sucker for pining so there’s plenty of it in this au 👍

i’m not necessarily opposed to the idea of alfea being an only girl school but i absolutely find it necessary to have male fairies in the show. like imagine avalon transforming in front of the girls but instead of being cool and mysterious he has a glittering skirt and high heels boots.
