okay i think. it may be very hard for masculinity to be exaggerated without evoking the way that gay men do it. so even if you were to come up with a novel form of exaggerated masculinity as a heterosexual man the general response would probably be "idk seems kinda gay"
putting too much effort into your looks in general triggers people's alarms. not caring is a masculine trait lol. i can't imagine that's a fun space to try and be fashionable in
