I do completely adore xyr attitude though... I imagine xe came from a strict family. Wasn't really "a choice" to pursue higher education (presumably at a particularly prestigious university), just an expectation. Performed... excellently? At least until xe broke under a lifetime of pressure. Also at the first taste of autonomy xe speedran one thousand piercings got huge chunky goth boots and then decided xe needed to go die in I mean Explore the labyrinth.

And finally! For reference!

The Determined voice has a bit of a soft-spokenness, to it. Which. Combined w the portrait's very somber expression, makes Zephyr's range of expressions I doodled extremely funny tbh. The serious-silly balance..... at xyr fucking limit. Sooooo put together about it, though (lying). With an award winning smile! (TRUE! Very cutes!)

I could not select better weather conditions than what I'm going to experience today.

Overnight and into this morning: 50-55 degrees. I slept under an extra blanket. The windows open all night and the furnace was off.

Today's forecasted high is 74 degrees with plenty of sunshine.

We already had some April showers here. The lawn is plush. I also cut the grass during my lunch hour yesterday. Today I look out my windows and enjoy the fruits of my labor while the temperature is perfect.

There is one really loud bird around here with an annoying song. It reminds of of my first computer's modem connecting. That bird must have slept in this morning. The other birds I can now hear better and they sound nice. This hot cup of coffee I'm holding suddenly tastes even better.

The only adjustment I will make later is removing my fuzzy sweatshirt when the house warms up.

Sometimes I think about wether Toritsuka really has privacy like ever?

I mean ghosts kinda perpetualy watch people and they're basically everywhere, but he actually knows they're watching, if he wanted to do something kinda awkward or the like he probably couldn't just shoo them away, just had to do it with company, on full display all the time

I think this also reflects in his attitude towards Saiki being able to read his thoughts, giving full honesty 'cause Saiki will know anyway, he's already sorta used to that

#knitting #a fun fact about gauge swatches is that if you fudge the measurements a little the error compounds massively #aka: “one repeat of lace is 1 inch” (it's like 5/6 of an inch) and now your garment is 4“ too small #blocking can only do so much :(#memeing to cope #if literally anyone asks i'll post a picture of the shirt once it's dry

I think i might make the vest 5-10cm shorter than what the pattern says? worst case scenario grandma will wear a crop top

So. I have made the random discovery that my scarf is ~1.80m, which is about as tall as ivy.

I don't know what to do with this information, but I have it nonetheless.

#CONTEXT: i am knitting a scarf for my mom and i wanted to measure mine so i can sort of gauge how long i need it to be #and since the brain rot is truly taking a hold of me. everything i do or see somehow gets connected to them #and thus we have the ivy-length scarf #which btw. is about as tall as my wrist if i have my arm stretched up high. so my height + the ~20cm from my head to my wrist #fun things to think about. i suppose. hm.

After getting Madeline Tosh DK yarn for not this Christmas, but the previous one, starting a pair of socks and realizing I didn’t want socks, unraveling the socks, starting a hat where the gauge said 22sts = 4in *stretched* on size 6 needles, trying it on after knitting 3” and realizing it’s too big, unraveling it and finally settling on size 4 needles, and trying to learn a new method of casting on that took three tries, I think I’m finally getting a thing made.
