Delivering these Mocs today. When I was making these I had to crack up since the vibrant orange and the bright yellow ribbon almost hurt my eyes with their brilliance. The vamps & cuffs are backed with vintage calico that came from my former language mentor Myra. It's funny how a lot of the cloth we got from her, matches perfectly some of the projects we've worked on. Working on new Mocs for my sister. Came down to visit and realized I never made her a pair of gathered toe mocs, although I made her a pair of center seams so she could rock them for the first Rock Your Mocs day. Rocked my moc booties today at work, at Wegmans, lecturing at Brockport, at Tim Hortons, all day. I fleece lined these moose hide Mocs and sewed a crepe sole to the bottom.
