It’s smooth and goes on without friction. It’s also pillowy and lush, not greasy and absorbs quickly. There’s a tiny bit of shimmer which I tried to photograph but it wasn’t getting picked up on camera. I’m new to luxury British skincare and beauty brand Connock London but hey, better late than ever right? Well, it’s not that new, Connock London has been around since 2010.

Anyway, I love fragrances and Connock London’s latest collections of Kukui Oil, Andiroba Oil and Manuka Honey are some of my current favourites.

There’s nothing quite like an exotic fragrance which is quite difficult to place – it just doesn’t fall into the traditional sweet, fruity, spicy or floral categories.

This is my first time encountering fragrances in Kukui Oil, Andiroba Oil and Manuka Honey so I’m enjoying the experience. The fragrances feel luxurious, are nourishing and of course smells amazing.

Each fragrance comes in a collection with a hand and body wash, as well as a hand and body lotion and candle.

The Kukui Eau de Parfum

The Kukui fragrance is Connock London’s signature scent, derived from rare and nourishing Kukui Oil found in Hawaiian island of Oahu. The oil itself is traditionally nourishing and improves skin suppleness and elasticity. As a fragrance, it is elegantly florential; built around the Gardenia flower complimented by a bouquet of fresh flowers including Italian Bergamot, Moroccan Rose, White Jasmine and Calla Lily. The scent is further enriched with Sandalwood, Vetiver, White Amber and layers of cashmere and sheer musks, completed with the rich bitter chocolate sweetness of Vanilla Absolute and Tonka Bean.

The Manuka Honey Eau de Parfum

The many benefits of Manuka Honey is no secret. Manuka is one of the most biologically active and beneficial honeys for the skin as it contains anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. This particular Manuka is sourced in Queensland and South Wales in Australia, and as a fragrance, it smells amazing with top notes of lemon and mandarin; middle floral notes of Egyptian Jasmine, rose, Calla Lily and honey and base notes of vetivert, amber and sheer musks.

Andiroba Eau de Parfum

This is another awesome, power packed oil with essential fatty acids which speeds the skin’s natural healing process that Connock London has turned into an exotic fragrance.

Made from Andiroba seeds harvested in South America, this green fragrance is inspired by the mystery beauty of the tropical Amazonian rainforest. It opens with lush, leafy top notes of Bergamot, Lemon and Brazilian Orange. A rich floral heart of Iris, and violet sits on a deep earthy base of Sandalwood, Cedar and musk, with a touch of Lavender and Peruvian pink pepper.
