some creachur keeps bringing us apples as gifts...we do not have an apple tree. the nearest one (afaik) is almost 2 blocks away. year 3 apples 7

Seeing a lot of people purchasing "fairy villages" from dollar stores or other retail venues as Spring rears her head in the Northern Hemisphere... did y'all not learn to make those by hand as a kid???

Sticks and grass and leaves and wood chips and nuts and clay and stones are all free from the bounty of Earth. You can just take 'em. Get some old crappy newspaper or bags or cardboard, pull out a sticky hot glue gun or superglue, construct your own fairy villages and color them with spray paints or old acrylic paints or various shades of clay or makeup.

Obviously don't go stealing from people's gardens or protected lands, but I dare say purchasing a ripped-off sham of magic from the devil that is Capitalism makes you an enemy of both the resistance and the fae...

story time. it was nighttime and the room was dark because my wife was asleep, and I had gone downstairs to make some tea. I had a video game up on the screen, and in it I was looking at a painting.

so picture me, mug in hand, at my computer in the dark. I sit. I bring my mug up to take a drink. at t-minus 5 to spider jumpscare, I think to myself, oh hey, neat, that's a really cool spider-shaped pattern on the painting in this game.

Hubs just informed me that he ordered 20 pounds of seed potatoes for next year's garden. We don't have room for 20 pounds of seed potatoes. We don't have room to STORE 20 pounds of seed potatoes. We don't have the room to store the inevitable harvest of less than 20 pounds of seed potatoes.

do you think Zoro would drunk garden with me? I've been drunk gardening for the past 2 hrs. but the thing is, I'm making these garden beds called hugelkultur where you dig a bunch of shallow graves for your enemies and fill them with rotting logs and stick and compost and I've fallen into them like 10x..... there's like 20 of these shallow 3x6 graves and my dumbass keeps forgetting about them.... if only Zoro was home from the pirate life to help me up.
