i spent about $520 USD, lost 50/50 4 times (2 being rafayel and 2 being zayne) to get r3 rafayel in 481 pulls

if i did my math right, if i had topped up i would need to top up on the highest option 11 times,,, $99.99 USD (~$100 USD) which would have been approx. $1.1k USD - the fact you only get that first time bonus once is criminal, still haven't touched that or the $49.99 USD one and haven't topped up since i realized how much more stuff we get in the packs

and thus i will always be thankful for the packs they provide because in a sense 1) i was able to do this under 1k, under 500 would've been ideal, but it's okay

i've replenished half of what was lost thanks to the OT i worked, then the final half will be replenished upon my next paycheck, otherwise i'd be dead

Also, depending on how fast you can hit that boop, it takes about 1 hour +/- to go from 1-1k if you do the camp/spam method.

I couldn't figure out how to comment in the doc for Twelve Points, but I wanted to know if the line "Wish you were here. Glad you aren't" was an intentional ref to Critical Role or just a coincidence? It works incredibly well, either way, but I was curious.

Oh, no! It's a coincidence, I've never watched Critical Role. A friend of mine did show me the first episode of Neverafter, and I enjoyed that although I struggled to keep track of everything that was going on (I'm going to watch a few more episodes and see if I "get better" at that -- I had a similar problem when I started reading comics in that I had a hard time uniting text and image, but with practice sometimes that kind of thing becomes easier).

But now that is very funny, the idea of Buck being either a) a fan of Critical Role or b) a secret tabletop gamer.

Also, I'm going to infringe on your goodwill a bit, an Anon sent an ask that I accidentally deleted (SORRY ANON) about the Shivadhverse being a universe where somehow Italy isn't on the Euro -- for some reason I decided in my head that Italy was dual-currency and the lira was still valid. It is entirely possible this was in part because having Jerry say "Thirty two million lira" was very funny. :D But yeah that's just a goof on my part.

I have had many wonderful, perfect, insanely better ideas then anyone else about making a fanifc that involves a character getting gamer powers and do you know what the problem is every single time? Math.

Stats are this and quest does that, cool perk here hell yeah, but like If your level 1 and killing a level 1 monster gives 5 exp how much exp do you get killing level 40 monster when level 34?

Nah. Nah I don't fuck with that shit.

How much health do I have after a hit from thing A after being buffed with perk C when thing A has the bonus- ruins it. Can't do it. No idea.

pokemon frlg is my first time playing an rpg of any kind, so i'm aware a lot of my awe is just "guy experiencing a video game for the first time" type stuff, but man this game is so intuitively designed... it's easy to understand and guides you through things well for even a beginner while also not overloading you with info so you can feel independent figuring it out for yourself... it's sooooo seriously awesome
