my copy of brothership arrived yesterday and now i can safely say this

#“what about partners in time” PARTNERS IN TIME IS GOOD OKAY #it's INNOVATIVE! it's FLAWED but it's INNOVATIVE and FUN.#obviously superstar saga & bowser's inside story are great and dream team is pretty good too #and brothership is really good #paper jam is just mediogre though it's like 3ds era paper mario brought his stank with him #and mario & luigi had to balance it out with a secret anti-stank that only worked a little and made the game comparatively mid #it's still got good gameplay & character writing (except peach... i hate that one meta-deprecation line it SUCKS) but... ehhh.#anyways. woe nocturne's m&l opinions be upon ye #certified nocturneposting #mario & luigi #m&l rpgs

#txt #so yeah i still kinda hate the new art style they’ve taken #it’s all too smooth and cartoonish and stylised! it doesn’t look or feel like da!#for any other game it wouldnt be as much of a problem #also I can’t help compare to other recent releases like bg3 or hfw or gow ragnarok #that had such beautiful high fidelity characters #also based on the gameplay trailer they seem to have carried a bunch of features over from dai #when I hoped they would’ve innovated or made them better #idk #part of me is excited but im mostly just so so wary at this point #and there’s something about the 2 new trailers that is just sitting wrong with me #vibes wise i mean #anyway

it's funny when people are like "dont play the first game, janky controls!"

idk man, i like the jankiness of old games, it's what made older games so unique and quirky and cool. a lot of new games do the same thing but in a different way, and that's kinda boring after like the 3rd game.

(unless it's pokemon and im playing the 3rd, 4th and 5th gens, theyre still fun to play to this day, despite Diamond/Pearl/Platinum being SLOW as hell during battles)

#games were so innovative #the most recent unique game ive probably played is death stranding #i LOVED that game #cool story. heartbreaking actually. awesome characters and unique gameplay #yeah it's delivery simulator in a post-apocalyptic(?) world but #it does it in such a cool unique way ive never seen in any other game #i guess it helps its a kojima game #ramblings

Xbox is the element of community. The Xbox player base enjoys multiplayer games and has bonds that can last for years. PlayStation is the element of single-player games. They range from being cinematic to having great gameplay. PC is the element of freedom PC gamers appreciate the most popular and niche titles and the community has some really funny mods Nintendo element of variety they love to experiment and be innovative when they find something that works. They make it incredible. It’s important to see the good in all gaming platforms. This is how you avoid being an ignorant fanboy or fangirl. The four nations lived happily until the mobile gamers attacked.
