The timeline I'm thinking of for the Sonic x Transformers ideas is like. Basically just the War for/Fall of Cybertron games happened, you know, whatever, the civil war was going on on Cybertron the specifics don't matter. It ends with them taking the Ark to earth and crashing in the age of the dinosaurs and going into hibernation for millions of years just like the G1 show.

Eggman finds the Ark and collects all the Transformers, Sonic saves them, I've detailed that in another post. That's like, the pilot.

so then Season 1 would be the Transformers all meeting their respective partners and teaming up with them, and the factions all forming together. The Autobots all group up as ya do, but the Decepticons would be pretty disparate and ununified with like a Starscream faction, a Megatron faction, and then just the Cons who are just doing their own thing.

Season 2 would be episodic conflicts and engagements, character dynamics and chemistry being explored, wacky antics. The stuff that both the Sonic series and Season 2 of G1 were known for lol. But it would build up to and culminate in a big season ending final battle where Eggman and Megatron are in space as part of some big space weapon scheme like maybe the Death Egg or something I dunno. And Sonic using the emeralds to go Super Sonic and Optimus Prime also going super along with him, getting the All White paint scheme which was something the movie was originally going to use but ended up getting scrapped

Fight ending with Sonic blasting Eggman through and out of Megatrons back and then booting him down to fall through the atmosphere and back towards earth. Leaving Megatron to drift, spurred on saying his "I still function" line, and starts trying to stagger towards Optimus.

Having some pathos between them where Optimus is like "This is not the ending I ever imagined for us, old friend..." and Megs just responds like "Do not insult me with your PITY, Prime. This is not the end. Megatron will not end this way. I will destroy you, Prime. If it's the last... thing... I... do..." and as he reaches out for Optimus he just stands aside somberly, as Megatron goes limp and inert and starts drifting away from Earth and out into the darkness of space, the POV going from looking at Megatron from the front and then going through the hole in his chest as he passes.

Sonic is like yo Optimus you good? And Optimus is all "yes, let us return to your home now." And Sonic says something like "it's not just MY home. As long as you and your bots want to stay here, this cool and blue planet is home for you as well."

And they ride on down through the atmosphere back to earth just like the ending of Transformers Devastation only Sonic is riding on Optimus's back (or inside of him) as he's plummeting down back to planetside. (And a little stinger of Eggman landing back on earth with the egg mobile making a crater, and he just pops out and is like grumble grumble and has a funny little ending exchange with Sage and Metal Sonic who tell him that Soundwave and Shockwave fucking dipped on them).

BUT THEN THE FUCKING MOOOOVIEEEEE HAPPENS and it starts following Megatron floating through deep space, until he gets scooped up by Unicron/The End and reforged into Galvatron. Unicron/The End wants the Matrix of Leadership from Optimus because that way he can gobble up Cybertron. Galvatron just wants revenge. He’d be sent back to earth hopped up on vengeance ready to not only conquer but exterminate all organic life to pay back for the way he was enslaved. But he’s so blinded by using the newfound power he was imbued with to fulfill his aims that he doesn’t realize he’s just being used as a herald to get the table ready for Unicron/The End to show up and devour everyone and everything.

Movie stuff happens except nobody dies because I said so. I also think it would be funny to say twenty years have passed just like the G1 movie did, and they have Autobot City and whatnot, but I would explicitly NOT have any of the characters be any different. Like how some people will make like fanart of "aged up Cream the rabbit"? Naw, that shit's lame lol. Cry harder about it.

Anyway movie ends with them defeating Unicron obviously and Galvatron is left free to go back to just being Megatron. Would keep the Galvatron design but reclaim his name as Megatron, because Galvatron was the name imposed onto him by Unicron.

Now I made Megatron be Eggmans bitch for all of the first two seasons, so I think it's only fair for Megatron to show back up in season 3 and turn the tables. Megatron snacks up Eggman to keep him as a battery slave, and knocks all the other Decepticons heads together to get them to fall in line in the way only Megatron can. The Sonic chars partnered with the Cons get stolen up and kept inside their Transformer partner against their will as the Decepticon faction is reformed properly in the way it never was due to the Eggman Empire in the first two seasons.

So season 3 is very much like, the War is fucking ON and a good chunk of Sonic's allies and all of his enemies are damseled by being kept as permanent batteries in their Decepticon. It would be much more serialized with the end of each episode flowing right into the beginning of the next. I dunno how it would all end yet, but it sure would have to somehow lol.

Round One that will last a day with 24 match ups. There will be a one day break afterwards sharing any highlights of that round (and giving me time to make the other).

After the destruction of the Unicron Singularity, Unicron found himself greatly weakened and unable to maintain his physical form. His essence passed on to a realm much like that in which I now reside—upon which, in its weakened state, it was attacked and absorbed once again by the lingering essence of Galvatron. The resulting disturbance rippled across the multiverse, affecting an alternate incarnation of Unicron and transforming him into a new Planet X—the very same discovered by Sideways and Soundwave in their journey through alternate dimensions.

NAME: OVERKILL

GENDER: DESTRUCTION (okay, actually he/him, but you know)

APPEARANCE: Overkill is massive. His alt. mode is a literal rocket launcher with enough force behind it to wrench a mech’s arms out of their sockets if they’re not Megatron or Galvatron. He’s mostly a dark, unpainted Damascus steel with some wine accents and a prominent Decepticon brand on each shoulder, very strong facial features with a crooked nose and a permanent feral glint to his coalfire optics.

FACECLAIM: god. fucking. Doomguy, probably? Let’s go with Doomguy. RIP AND TEAR

PERSONALITY: Boisterous and outwardly friendly, Overkill has a way of drawing mecha in. The dangerous part is once you’re close you realize there’s no way out— the mech has the personality of a black hole, and the volatility of both of his predecessors. He will kill you with a smile and not think twice about it. The only mecha he won’t chew up and spit out are Soundwave and his cassettes, Cyclonus, Scourge, and his creators.

POWERS / ABILITIES: uhhhhhhh. Mass destruction, mostly. If that counts? Really good at punching? Fastest shotgun reload time on the Nemesis?

MISC: The Sweeps like to pile up on top of him to recharge because Overkill is warm, rumbly, and literally no one willingly wakes him. Overkill mostly lets them.

rodimus probably. we both are depressed as hell but trying our best! and we love our pals. i find him very relatable.

WEBWORLD...the whole episode

when galvatron and that therapist have that excange like "You have no right to change what I am!" "You've already been changed; that's the problem." i go bananas every time

also auto-bop. starscream and soundwave start a gay bar. whats not to love. tracks is there. thats enough to solidify it (maybe) as my favorite episode...but thats just off the top of my head
