Poll Candidate suggestions have finished! Thank you all of my midnight Anons! It has been delightful. Let's get into the nitty gritty of the competition and our competitors.

HOW IS THE POLL SET UP?

The poll will have an initial 48 candidates.

Round One that will last a day with 24 match ups. There will be a one day break afterwards sharing any highlights of that round (and giving me time to make the other).

Round Two will have twelve matchups lasting a day and a similar break set up.

Round Three will have three match ups and last a day.

This will leave us with three finalists. We will have three days of elimination matches leaving the two finalists.

also the story is losing a lot from getting tunnel vision around shady Prowl instead of actually examining the systemic issues of the autobots, wreckers and just the war in general especially since there was some setup for that that's just going to waste the way we got the whole thing with Pova and then the Wreckers just… don't change narrative: Prowl is the worst also narrative: military industrial complex? what's that?

ok so back to the flashback the whole thing about Prowl getting praise for his accomplishments is really weird Prowl isn't an engineer, so they know any tech he'd turn up is being provided by someone else and he's clearly handing over stuff to be assessed by other autobots, so he's not just shuffling it off into secret weapon reserves to be used under the table on secret ops

it's not like he can say "oh it's from kimia" there'd be a paper trail and people to ask unless literally no one decided to look into anything which, i mean, would be in character for optimus but for literally the rest of High Command? (…whoever they are) Kimia has an ethics board though we don't know when that was instituted there is a huge level of oversight there and while it's probably possible to hack in a paper trail you can't hack in people's memories i mean you can but press x to doubt that chromedome was doing that for prowl like honestly i really think this story would be more powerful if it actually used some nameless bureacrat rather than prowl as a stand in it's trying to do realism and then it's cutting the actual things that it needs to be realistic

NAME: OVERKILL

GENDER: DESTRUCTION (okay, actually he/him, but you know)

APPEARANCE: Overkill is massive. His alt. mode is a literal rocket launcher with enough force behind it to wrench a mech’s arms out of their sockets if they’re not Megatron or Galvatron. He’s mostly a dark, unpainted Damascus steel with some wine accents and a prominent Decepticon brand on each shoulder, very strong facial features with a crooked nose and a permanent feral glint to his coalfire optics.

FACECLAIM: god. fucking. Doomguy, probably? Let’s go with Doomguy. RIP AND TEAR

PERSONALITY: Boisterous and outwardly friendly, Overkill has a way of drawing mecha in. The dangerous part is once you’re close you realize there’s no way out— the mech has the personality of a black hole, and the volatility of both of his predecessors. He will kill you with a smile and not think twice about it. The only mecha he won’t chew up and spit out are Soundwave and his cassettes, Cyclonus, Scourge, and his creators.

POWERS / ABILITIES: uhhhhhhh. Mass destruction, mostly. If that counts? Really good at punching? Fastest shotgun reload time on the Nemesis?

MISC: The Sweeps like to pile up on top of him to recharge because Overkill is warm, rumbly, and literally no one willingly wakes him. Overkill mostly lets them.
