There are dozens of Dishonored pairings that I don’t fully understand and some that I’m not fully on board with and probably never will be, but literally all of them are still more interesting than whatever Emily and the two pieces of pocket lint and a shoe string in a trench coat that passes itself off as a love interest had going on.
#dishonored#dishonored 2#emily kaldwin#i get that Wyman was probably supposed to be this blank slate love interest that people could just project whatever they wanted onto#or just disregard entirely because their existence has no impact on gameplay or anything meaningful that happens in DH2 or DOTO whatsoever#but by the time i got to the Clockwork Mansion their existence was already wiped from my mind#Dr. Galvani has more relevance than Wyman#there are one-time NPCs in the Boyle mansion that have more series relevance and character than Wyman#Miss White has more personality in a single fingernail than all of Wyman's 'lore' combined and she only appeared for one level
