What is this feeling?
Pairings: Elphaba x Reader x Galinda
Summary: You are in love with the two most well known girls at Shizz. They both love you, but loathe each other and loathe that the other loves you. They try to steal you from each other and win you over. Intercourse is had. Feelings are hurt. Everything works out in the end.
Word count: 5100
Warnings: SMUT⚠️, like so so so much smut ya’ll. Porn with some plot. Eating out. Fingering. Thigh riding. Grinding. Slight dry humping. Bra used as gag. Semi public sex. Y/n is lowkey a bop. Brief dom/sub dynamics (the roles are reversed a few times cause y/n is written as a switch) brief hate sex. Angst. Feelings are hurt. Apologies are said. Based off movie knowledge only. They all make up and get together in the end. I think that’s everything.
A/n: Galinda and Elphaba are probably a bit ooc in this srry. I’ve only watched the movie but have been listening to the musical soundtrack for years. Plz don’t roast me if I got some of the stuff about shizz wrong 😢.

“What is this feeling so sudden and new?” Galinda whispers to herself as she watches you below from her shared dormitory balcony.
She shifts her body so her head lays up her arms which lay atop the stone wall surrounding the balcony, as she dramatically sighs and continues to dreamily look at you from above.
Her usually confident and cocky persona felt like it crumbled to pieces whenever she was around you, leaving her uncharacteristically awkward and nervous. Vulnerable. Thus, to her, confessing to you seemed out of the question.
She had tried to wish away these pesky feelings, but to no avail. She had fallen hard.
She watched as you walked over and struck up a conversation with her irritating roommate. Oz, you were so much more kind than her. You had been going out of your way for the last week to befriend the girl because you saw the unjust treatment of her and knew it was undeserved. The same girl that has been nothing but a thorn in her side since they were unfairly roomed together.
Meticulously manicured nails scraped against the concrete beneath her grasp in deep jealousy, as she watched you and Elphaba’s conversation become a bit “too friendly” for her liking. She felt like she was going to scream if this kept up!
“It’s not fair! I am ten times more perfect in every way than that little goth prude! Why does she get first dibs on everything I deserve?” She said aloud to no one. Theatrically slumping down behind the balcony wall and draping her arm over her face.
If overcoming her fears of confessing to be with the one person who had made her feel a true connection with meant keeping her little rival from having what she wanted…
She made up mind right then. She was going to push aside her fears, put on a confident mask, and use her natural charm to snatch you away from Elphaba.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————
“I felt it the moment I laid eyes on you.” Elphaba was never one to want much, never one to think herself attractive or desirable from the perspective of others, but you had brought out a part of herself she thought she had buried along with all her other wishes.
You were both still new to each other only having been friends for a few weeks, but Elphaba now having understood her feelings saw no reason to wait any longer. Always one to never hold back when it came to speaking her mind, despite fear of rejection, she asked you to accompany her to a secluded part of Shizz so she could communicate her feelings to you.
“I don’t know what to say…” you replied.
It wasn’t that you weren’t overcome with a sense of giddiness whenever you were around her. It was that while having feelings for Elphaba, you had also been harboring the same kind of feelings for your other gorgeous friend Galinda.
You were also well aware of your two love interests' rivalry, knowing no that if you were to start a relationship with Elphaba, the pink obsessed blonde would take it as an act of betrayal.
But at the same time you couldn’t bare to turn down Elphaba, with how much you liked her and knowing her deeply rooted insecurities and how much she must have overcome just to confess to you.
You were fucked either way.
“I… I need time to think… please don’t take it the wrong way, I like you! I do..I just… it’s complicated.” Your heart withered at the sight of Elphaba in front of you putting on a brave face and masking her disappointment. Concealing her feelings and pretending she doesn’t care what people thought of her was her specialty.
“I… understand…….I think it’s best I go now.” Elphaba cast her head downwards as she didn’t want you or anyone to catch a glimpse of the newly forming barley concealed tears. She was so stupid to think you could reciprocate her feelings.
“Elphaba wait!” You called after her, but she carried on striding away from you. What could you say to her anyways? Nothing you could say could soothe the black hair girl’s pain of rejection. It wasn’t even a full rejection! Oh Oz why did you say that! Why does liking more than one person have to be so complicated!
Little had you known a certain blonde haired socialite had followed behind you and Elphaba after overhearing the ravenette asking you to follow her somewhere more private. That same girl had eavesdropped on conversation from behind a stone pillar a safe distance away.
She was now more determined than ever to win you over in light of her now confirmed suspicions of Elphaba having a crush on you as well.
Her heart initially felt like it had broken upon hearing you say you liked her back, and then mended itself at hearing you half reject her. Giving her hope for a chance. She was usually so confident, knowing what she wanted and taking it. That half a second of heartbreak and vulnerability was enough to let her know not having you was simply not an option.
——————————————————————
“What is this? What did you do!” Elphaba’s morning routine was immediately halted as she stepped out of bed at the sight of a wall of pink decor, suitcases, lamps, bags, etc.
“Oh that? I’m simply making room. I’m having y/n over for a girls day after our plans for today. Oh and of course I had to hide your hideously plain side of the room.” Galinda hadn’t even bothered to raise her head to look in her roommates direction as she spoke to her. To busy going through the steps of her complex morning hair routine.
“What? Why would y/n be coming over here? You’re much too stuck up for her to willingly be around.” Elphaba said. Annoyance clear in her voice. The mention of you had caught her off guard though, especially since the two of you hadn’t talked since that mortifying confession.
“I’ll have you know y/n and I are actually friends. And I’m not stuck up, you only happen to think so because you’re the bottom rung of the popularity ladder! You’re simply jealous of the fact y/n would rather be friends with someone perfect like me!!” Elphaba didn’t need to see her face as she could practically hear the girl's smug look in her voice.
Elphaba felt that familiar tingling sensation of the magic building up inside her at Galinda’s harsh words. Words that were unusually cruel for the girl who claimed to be ‘oh so good’. Words born out jealousy and insecurity for the affections she held for y/n.
Just as Elphaba felt like a burst of magic might leave her and crack a second balcony window, a set of four knocks came from the dorm door with the many carved details and brass trim.
A glance between them. One of masked anger and one of feigned innocence with a smugness behind it. Galinda got up to open the door.
“Y/n hiiiii!!!! I’m ever so glad you could make it! Let me show you in!” The blonde took you by the hand and brought you in, closing the door behind her.
“Oh and I don’t believe you’ve met my roommate! This is Elph-“ She started with faux politeness. An attempt at making things more awkward between the two girls in front of her and then whisking you away infront of her rival in a show of pettiness.
“Oh, we’ve met…” You trailed off. Sheepishly avoiding the ravenette’s gaze.
“Yes… we have…” Elphaba suddenly felt very exposed, awkwardly standing. The floor had suddenly become very interesting.
“Oh well I’m so glad that my very best friend and my roomate already know each other! Well, we better be going now, come along now sweetness!” Galinda threw a not so inconspicuous wink your way, much to the bewilderment and then jealousy of Elphaba, still stood in her nightgown.
“Oh! Uh…Alright! Coming!” You were thrown off balance by the sudden use of a pet name only to come to and scamper after the pink figure fading down the hall. Not before casting one last longing glance at Elphaba. Both of you shared a look before you too disappeared down the hallway.
As Elphaba closed the door shut the sound of a window pane breaking shot through the silence you left her in. A magical manifestation of her jealousy and sadness.

*Thud*
Galinda, empowered by her regained confidence, pinned you up against the empty classroom door. Both her hand on your waist as she looked down at you with blown out pupils and unsteady breath.
“Oh… y/n, I know this must be a sudden shock but I positively just couldn’t resist anymore!” She rubbed her thumb across you hip where her hand laid as her eyes flickered between you eyes and your lips. You stayed frozen between want for the girl in front of you and want for the girl you had left in her dorm.
“I do wish you feel the same… I haven’t felt like this about anyone… a few flings here and there, yes… but I really care for you… I… feel vulnerable.. around you.” You could see the sincerity in her eyes as Galinda watched for you with baited breath.
“I… I feel the same way, b-“ Galinda cut you off with a hungry kiss, her brain only having registered your words of reciprocated feelings
Your brain suddenly feeling like mush in the midst of Galinda’s onslaught of heavy open mouthed kisses. Your hands wandered up to grasp the back of her head, tangling in her golden curls. You completely forgot what you were even going to say.
The taste of her lip gloss mixing with your own, while Galinda nipped at your bottom lip. Per usual, Galinda got her way, as you opened your mouth for her to explore. Galinda wasted no time.
The two of you parted momentarily. A string of saliva connecting your mouths, both of you panting, before the blonde dove right back in. Simultaneously lifting her leg slightly so her knee was wedged up against your core. You made a noise that was instantly swallowed up by the girl pinning you to the door.
“Is this okay?” She asked, seemingly just now remembering her manners.
“Yes… please don’t stop.” The blonde went back for another kiss before her mouth started traveling along your jawline and then to your neck. Your head turned sideways and up to give her better access. You had lightly started to grind down on her leg that was in between yours.
Galinda had started to hastily mark you, not caring if anyone saw it on you. (Maybe hoping a certain someone would see it). As she worked her way down to your clavicle her hand started to unbutton your shirt. Helping her shed your outer clothes and being left in your bra, she took a moment to admire you.
“You’re beautiful..” She said as she unashamedly raked her eyes up your exposed skin up towards your face. Giving you a gentle kiss this time. Your hands cupping her face, while her hands reached around your back to unclasp your bra, dropping it to the floor.
Hands began to grasp and fervently pull at your breasts as the intensity of the kiss came back once more. All noises being lost to the blonde in front of you.
Some of the fog left your mind as the sounds of someone walking outside the door and down the hall brought you back to reality.
“Wait.. *pant* someone might come in..” A slight look of fear graced your features. Surely you would be expelled for this kind of behavior.
Galinda only smirked in reply. She held you face with one hand, flicking the deadbolt on the door with the other.
“Guess we’ll just have to be quiet then” Pulling you from the door to the mahogany teachers desk in the center of the room.
She hopped up on the desk and slightly leaned back. Patting her thigh while looking at you expectantly, you complied. Climbing up and straddling her thigh you couldn’t help but wish Galinda was a little more exposed, like you were.
Settling down with your clothed core pressed against her thigh, you gave just the slightest of pouts as you reached up and gently tugged at her top while locking eyes with her.
She let out a breath chuckle.
“Oh baby… you want this off?” She watched as you nodded and then guided your hands to unbutton her blouse and revealed her bra underneath.
Your eyes hungrily swept over pink silk that barely concealed hard nipples. Your hot breath fanning down on her now mostly exposed chest. Once again taking the lead, she guided your hands to her back, where you unclasped her bra. Tossing it aside.
“Wow…” was all you managed to get out, making her lightly giggle. You looked at her, and after receiving a small nod, you experimentally ran your hands over her breasts. Thumbs stopping over her nipping and gently rubbing.
She let out a quiet moan which encouraged you to continue. Her noises slowly building up in their frequency. She then took control again by leaning forward and capturing you in a kiss and bringing your hand to her face.
“Let’s get you out of this skirt…” she smiled at you. You stood up, putting on a little show for her, as you removed your skirt, undergarments, and shoes. Giving her a little spin and then climbing back to your original position.
“There we are… now.. take what you need sweetness.” Her words commanded you to start slowly grinding your now unclothed core against her thigh. Her hands went to guide you by your waist, as you held onto her shoulders for support.
“Oh…Oh my..” your breathing picked up as Galinda urged you into a faster pace. Moving her hips back and forth to meet you halfway. Her leg by now being soaked in your arousal.
“Oh.. that’s right sweetheart…keep going..” Galinda praised you as you grinded down harder. Clit dragging across milky white thighs. That feeling of heat starting to build up more and more in your lower area.
Panting now, as your noises started to grow, Galinda connected your mouth to keep the noise to a minimum so no one would hear. Your little whines and moans being muffled by pink lips.
What felt like too soon, you had started to get close. The pink clad girl could tell by the way your hips started stuttering in their pace.
“Come on sweetness… come for me..” Galinda panted, getting worked up just from the sight of you getting off on her thigh.
Her words seemed to help push you over the edge, as you came. A loud whine escaping your lips. Riding out your orgasm for a few seconds before slumping into Galinda. Both your bare breasts pushed against each other. Your head resting on her shoulder, while her fingers rubbed up your back and in your hair and gave tiny little kisses to your neck.
“You did so well… you have no idea how long I’ve wanted to see you like that.” The blonde whispered in your ear, causing good bumps to appear along your nape in her wake.
“I’ve wanted you for a long time as well…” you said while catching your breath.
You stayed in that position of embrace. Waiting for you to recover from your exertion.
After a minute, you started to feel Galinda squirming a bit below you. You sat back so you could look at her.
“Do you want me to..?” You said.
“Please.” She replied.
You slowly peeled yourself away from her and slightly sat back. Hands resting on her thighs, feeling the slick from where you were a minute ago.
You tugged at her last remaining garments, as she helped by maneuvering herself in order to remove her skirt and underwear. Eyes raking over her. Taking in every aspect.
Leaning in and giving her a quick peck on the lips before trailing kisses down her neck. Then to her sternum. Next, her navel. Then finally reaching the place where she needed you most, you glanced up to her eyes once more before shifting your mouth forwards.
She let out a breathy moan as your tongue made contact with her slick. You took a couple of long licks before focusing on her clit. She tasted sweet. Your hands found their places around her upper thighs
Your movements continued to coax airy whines and moans from her. These only spurred you on more. Now deciding to add one finger in the mix, you experimentally poked your right ring finger at her entrance. That elicited a slightly louder moan. Heat pooled in your stomach at that.
You slowly started pumping your one finger in and out of her core while still continuing to lick at her clit. Galinda’s hands were suddenly in your hair, pushing you further into her and groaning.
Deciding to add another finger, you slipped a second one into your rhythm. Stretching her out further. After a particularly loud moan though, you stopped your movements which in turn brought out a whine and a pout from Galdinda.
“Why… *pant* why’d you stop?” She questioned. Not a fan of being teased. You brought your head up to meet her gaze.
“I’m sorry, you were being a bit too loud. Someone might hear us. Here… this should solve the problem.” You took hold of her previously discarded silk bra and brought it up to her face.
“Are you okay with this..? Being.. um… gagged I mean..?” Galinda’s pout was replaced by a smirk and a little laugh at your sudden shyness. She thought it was adorable.
“Of course, now I can be as loud as I want. To show you how you make me feel.” She grinned and took hold of the bra you held out to her. Clamping her teeth around it and leaning back to give you access once more.
You returned to your previous position and activities. Speeding up to get her back to where she was. You heard her muffled noises, much more frequent and high pitched. It was clear she had been holding back a bit before as to not be heard and subsequently caught.
Her hand returned to the back of your head as she grinded her hips against you. Getting closer, her grip tightened and her hips started to fervently rut and buck up into you.
With one last drawn out muffled whine from her, you felt her come on your hand. Feeling her walls flutter around your fingers, you helped her ride it out before pulling away. Crawling up to her once more, you sucked her juices off your fingers before pulling the bra out of her mouth to bring her into an embrace as she had done for you. Letting her rest.
Once she had recovered, she leant back to pull you into another kiss. This one was slow and full of love. Parting to breathe you both only paused for a second before going back in for another.
No words needed. Only the moment.
——————————————————————
A set of four knocks sounded on the intricate door.
“Galinda’s not here!” Elphaba called out to who she assumed was one of her roommate's little henchmen. Galinda had left for the afternoon to meet a secret importer for a new collection of dresses she was sneaking into Shizz.
When the set of knocks continued after Elphaba had called out, she sat up from her study material, and strode over to the door to open it.
“I told you she’s not he-…” Elphaba was greeted with the sight of your face. Holding a small sheepish smile.
“Hi… I was hoping we could talk?” You looked up at her through your lashes with baited breath. Hoping you hadn’t ruined things with her.
“I thought you’d be out with Galinda. Seems you two are never apart these days.” She replied with a displeased look on her face. She was no fool. She knew there was likely something going on between her roommate and you.
It was true though. Galinda had insisted you stayed glued to her side since your “girls day out”. Practically dragging you along on a leash. Not that you minded being around her all the time, but it left you no time to resolve things between you and Elphaba.
“I… I wanted to come and apologize for not speaking to you since… last week.” You guiltily looked away. You had been rather horrible to her for not speaking to her. And sleeping with her roommate who she loathed.
“Go on.” Elphaba crossed her arms. Giving you a blank face.
“Well… I’m ever so sorry for not talking to you. I like you, I really do! It’s just… I also like someone else and if I were to be with you it would hurt them. Though I see that the opposite has happened and I’ve hurt you instead.” You tried to keep your composure while you apologized, but it was clear that your eyes were becoming watery.
“Galinda…” Elphaba stated what was already known. The sound of defeat in her voice. Her posture sulked downward.
Your eyes widened as you took a few steps toward her.
“Oh no! Please you must believe me that I never wished to hurt you! I just-… I want to be with both of you! But I know that’s not possible because you two hate each other and I wish her friends weren’t so cruel to you and it’s all so complicat-!” You were cut off by green lips silencing your rambling.
She pulled back. Tears in her eyes as you looked on with shock on your face.
“Please, I’ve never been one to want anything. I shouldn’t let myself want anything. But I just want you. You hurt me, I can’t forget that, but I can’t stand that she has you. Please just be with me… even if it’s just for this moment…” Her words were heartbreaking. She had endured more than her fair share. Given so much, yet received so little.
“Anything you want…” You gently reached up and caressed her face. Leaning in and connecting your lips and a soft and tender kiss. Tasting salty tears from where they had fallen from her emerald eyes.
Growing more confident, Elphaba brought you both inside the dorm and shut the door with one hand. All while never leaving your mouth.
What started out as slow and emotional had started to become more passionate. Hands sliding up to tangle in hair. Being pulled closer by the waist.
Your hand moving down to tug at her button up.
“Would you let me take care of you?” Your voice barely above a whisper. Waiting for permission.
“I’ve.. I’ve never…because of my greenness… no one’s ever…” Elphaba nervously sputtered out.
“That’s alright… if you want me to, I can lead. All you have to do is let me take care of you. You deserve it Elphie…” You said as you looked into her eyes.
“Okay… please just know… I am green everywhere…” She looked so vulnerable at that moment. Fear of rejection due to her complexion having been hardwired into her brain.
“I don’t care about that, Elphie. I think you’re truly beautiful. All over, inside and out.” You said with a smile of reassurance. And with a small smile and nod in return, you went ahead.
Careful fingers danced their way from one button to the next before pulling the white shirt over her shoulders and down her arms.
She gasped at the foreign sensation of fingers ghosting over her black bra covered nipples. Hands coming to rest on your waist.
“Let’s get you somewhere where you can relax, pretty lady.” You giggled slightly at the evident blushing at your use of a pet name. Guiding her over to her bed. Laying her down on her back with you sitting in between her legs.
“What now?” Elphaba asked, not knowing what to do or what exactly came next.
“Next, I’m going to get you ready. And then I was going to use my hands. Are you okay with that Elphie?” You watched for her response. Making sure to give her plenty of warning and above all ensure her comfort and enjoyment and give her room to say no.
“I trust you…” Her eyes conveyed the same thing she said. Her hand reached for yours to hold.
A small smile graced your features as you leant forwards to kiss her. Hands dragging along exposed collarbones until they reached the bra clasp and undid it. Sliding it off through her arms.
Hands started to gently grope at her bare breasts as your hips slowly pushed forwards into Elphaba’s to add pressure.
“Mmff!” The girl below you’s moan was muffled by your mouth on hers. She held your waist. You started to slowly grind into her. The both of you getting worked up.
Continuing your movements while slightly changing the rhythm now and then. You watched as the girl beneath you slowly relaxed.
When you thought you had made her wet enough, your grinding ceased and you moved over to straddle one of legs to make room around her core.
Breaking apart while one of your hands trailed up underneath the girl's long skirt. You once again made sure.
“Is this okay?” The words felt familiar to your ears..
“Please.” So did hers.
Reaching her undergarments, you felt around to find the seam. Your fingers finally finding purchase around them as you pulled them down and over her legs. Watching the string of arousal that attached to it as you tossed them aside.
“You’re so wet… that’s good.” Looking up to meet her blown out pupils.
You moved so you were laying over top of her while keeping your hand around her core so you could make out with her to ease the tension.
Your middle and ring finger trailed up and down her slit. Collecting the slick and rubbing it around on your fingers.
Next, you gave her clit a gentle rub, eliciting a whine from the ravenette. You continued to rub and then press down with your thumb, while your other fingers circled around her entrance.
Finally, you stuck a single finger into her. Her body reacted by bucking up. You were getting riled up just watching her.
“Nngg, t-that’s, so so good.” Elphaba’s usually reserved nature was coming undone.
You added another finger and sped up the pace. Thrusting them up into her while letting the back of your palm rub her clit.
“Good girl… that’s it.” You praised her. Elphaba’s noises were becoming more frequent. You could tell she was getting closer by the way her walls were gripping your fingers, trying to suck them back in.
Speeding up your movements and then latching onto one of her nipples was enough for the witch to climax.
Her loud moan came with the fluttering of her walls. Suddenly, for just a few seconds, the both of you were floating, before gently landing back down on the mattress. She had unknowingly used her magic.
Her pants slowly subsided. After pulling your hand away and licking it clean, you trailed kisses from her chest to her face, where you peppered light kisses around her mouth.
“You did so well… you’re so beautiful Elphie…” you whispered into her ear. Rubbing her shoulder then going to nuzzle into her neck.
Elphaba, still coming down from her high, wrapped her arms around your back, and planted a kiss on your head.
“Do… would you like.. a turn..?” She slowly said, unsure of her words.
“No, but thank you for offering, sweet girl.” She could feel you smile into her neck.
“I just wanted to show you how much I care for you. You don’t have to give anything. You deserve all the pampering in the world.” Your genuine words brought liquid emotion to the girl with the emerald eyes.
She pulled you closer. No more words needed. Just the moment.
——————————————————————
You were screwed.
In the last few weeks, the two girls you had slept with rivalry had only grown since you had seen both of them. Both of them going out of their way to try and best the other to get closer to you.
They openly loathed each other, no more fake politeness or toleration. Simple unadulterated loathing.
Galinda would sweep you away from Elphaba to sit with her and her friends at lunch. Then Elphaba would retaliate by making sure you sat next to only her during class.
All the back and forth and the complicated feelings was making your head spin.
Currently you were on your way to the two girls' dorm to return study notes Elphaba and graciously lent you.
As you approached the wooden door, knocked, then opened it halfway, you stopped. What were those… noises… you were hearing? They sounded… angry? But also…… oh. Oh.
You pushed the door open the rest of the way and froze.
Galinda and Elphaba. The two girls who swore loathed each other. We’re in bed together. Naked.
Phrases like, “I hate you so much, ohhh!” And “I hate you m-more, she doesn’t *pant* deserve you. Ahh!”.
What the fu-
*thud*
Out of shock, you had dropped the heavy notebook you were carrying. Both girls let out a little shriek and sprung apart as though they had burned one another.
“Um… i-I…. Uhhhhh…. Glad you two aren’t fighting anymore……???” You nervously stated. Feeling very awkward at interrupting what was happening between them. Though at the same time ecstatic that they were finally getting along in their own weird way.
“Y/n!” Both of them said at the same time. They glanced at each other and then back to you. Your cheeks flushed and eyes looking anywhere but them. Everything was quiet and still.
….
“Well…. You might as well get over here and help.” Galinda’s unwavering confidence had come back into play as scootched over and patted the empty bed space next to her.
“G-Galinda!” Elphaba stated in shock at her roommates sexual confidence in adding a third.
Both looked at you and waited for a response.
“Uhm…. O.. okay” You replied quietly, still embarrassed.
You closed the door and walked over Galinda’s king sized bed.
You let out a help as Galinda yanked you into bed and into a fiery kiss. Her giggles reverberated through the room. Elphaba laying beside you so she could trail kisses along your neck.
Your head was reeling under the sensual onslaught from the two girls.
This was exactly what you wanted. Your girl problem dilemma was over. They both liked you, you liked them, and now they liked each other. This could really work out.
Your heart's deepest desire was fulfilled .

how do you think jealous glinda would act
JEALOUS GALINDA HEADCANNONS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warnings : none!
author’s note : this got me out of my writers block ( FREAKING FINALLY ) so thank you anon!
⭑ galinda loves being the centre of attention, loves it, especially when she gets to be the centre of your attention. she’s not used to not getting what she wants, not used to not being the sun, the moon, the planets, and stars in everyone’s galaxy, so the idea of her having to share your attention with anyone else is such a foreign concept to her
⭑ galinda, who always wants to hang out with you! she wants to study together ( though it’s mostly you working and her staring at you with big goo goo eyes because you look so pretty when you’re concentrating! ) or going on super elaborate dates she’s planned out, or just hanging out in her dorm and kissing until she can’t stop giggling
⭑ so when you start to hang out with someone else just a tad bit more than you do her, like maybe you eat lunch with some your classmates instead of going off with her, or if you say you can’t come over that night because you’re hanging out with someone else, she freaks out!
⭑ why don’t you wanna hang out with her anymore? did she do something wrong? was she a bad girlfriend? did she hurt your feelings? elphaba finds her in bed curled up in ball with her knees tucked up to her chest, overthinking every little thing the two of you have ever done, trying to figure out why you might be mad at her
⭑ spoiler alert! you’re not mad! she’s just a chronic overthinker who can’t go a day without getting to hold your hand and kiss you
⭑ the moment you come over next she’s bawling in your arms and begging for you to forgive her because she doesn’t understand why you’re mad and she’s sorry if she hurt your feelings! she’s so not used to feeling so strongly about someone and she doesn’t want to mess a single thing up
⭑ in an instant you’re cuddling her and kissing her face and insisting she didn’t do anything wrong, and that she’s been nothing but the most amazing girlfriend imaginable! you just wanted to spend some time with your other friends, that’s all! you don’t love her any less
⭑ she’s all pouty and red in the face and somehow as elegant and pretty as ever, maybe even more, when she looks up at you
“galinda, what are you talking about? you are nothing short of the most amazing girlfriend on the planet! just because we’re not spending every second of every day together doesn’t mean i love you any less”
“you p - p - promise?”
⭑ galinda tries not to be super clingy after that, tries to teach herself that just because you’re hanging out with your friends or you’re not sleeping over every night, that it doesn’t mean you don’t care about her or what to break up, tries to teach herself that she doesn’t need to be always be the centre of attention. she’s still learning! it’s her first time being a relationship that she really does care about
⭑ of course she can only handle so much, it’s hard not to be clingy and possessive when she sees someone blatantly flirting with you! you’re her girlfriend after all!
⭑ the moment someone touches your arm sweetly or compliments your hair or clothes in a definitively not platonic way, she’s practically appearing at your side, arms wrapped around your waist with her face nuzzled into your shoulder
⭑ she’s constantly kissing your cheek, snuggling up against you, squeezing your hand, and repeating the word ‘girlfriend’ over and over until whoever decided they had the right to even breathe in the direction of you awkwardly wanders off
“oh! i don’t believe we’ve met, i’m galinda upland, her GIRLFRIEND!” “i was just in the bathroom, hope i didn’t keep my GIRLFRIEND waiting for too long!” “thanks for taking such good care of my GIRLFRIEND, but i can take it from here, as i am her GIRLFRIEND, and she is my GIRLFRIEND”
⭑ she doesn’t leave your side for the rest of the night, flipping her hair in the direction of ( and maybe even into the face of ) anyone who tries to hit on you. you’re her girlfriend! not theirs!
⭑ she can’t help but feel insecure though, her face is a nervous mix between a scowl and a pout for most of the night, constantly squeezing your hand as if to remind herself that you’re very much still there, that you haven’t left her for someone else
⭑ it’s not until she drags you back to her dorm does she break down, blubbering about how she’s worried about ‘not being good enough’ and how ‘everyone who hit on you was so much sexier and cooler than her’ and how ‘she’s not even that good of a girlfriend because she doesn’t know what she’s doing! but she doesn’t want to screw anything up!’
⭑ you’re barely able to calm her down, let alone pull her into your arms and lead her over towards her bed
“ssh, sh, hey, hey, galinda look at me. nobody at that stupid party was as cool or sexy or amazing as you are. you are the brightest, most wonderful person i’ve ever met, and i’d be an idiot to even consider dumping you for some dumb guy or girl who tries to hit on me. you don’t have to be perfect, nobodies perfect baby, but you are damn well pretty close. i love galinda upland, nothings gonna change that”
⭑ somehow that made her cry more! not out of sadness but just because she’s so overwhelmed with joy and love because you love her and you think she’s perfect and pretty and sexy and amazing, and it made her heart flutter in her chest so hard she’s worried it’ll explode
⭑ she flops right against you, burying her face into your shoulder and mumbling ‘i love you’ over and over and over until she finally stops crying, and by then you’re both exhausted
⭑ you end up spending the night at hers, galinda tucked against your chest your face buried in her hair, arms cradling her protectively
⭑ she ends up staying awake long after you’ve fallen asleep. titling her head up just so, watching and listening to you breathe because you’re the most gorgeous creature on earth and she’s the one who gets to lay against you like this, and she’s not sure something else has ever made her happier

glinda has a crush.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
glinda upland x fem!reader
summary: glinda upland is smitten, and she’s making sure the whole world (especially you) knows it, whether you catch on or not. warnings: fluff overload, afab reader, lesbian glinda, glinda being dramatic, harmless meddling, lots of pink, not proofread, nsfw at the very end, MDNI.
Tumblr media
glinda is not subtle. when glinda has a crush, the whole of oz could probably figure it out before you do. she’s extra giggly around you, tossing her hair and flashing her most radiant smile whenever you’re in sight.
she has been fighting people that call her "glinda" for her whole life. "it's gah-linda. with a gah". but you could call her belinda and she'd be like "okay, guess that's my name now hehe :D".
lots of "toss toss". when you're around, she performs this move even more flamboyantly, ensuring you notice her. she even practice it in front of a mirror to perfect it all in hopes of impressing you.
her love language is... extravagant. expect surprise deliveries of glittery pink bouquets, handwritten notes sealed with her signature wax stamp, new clothes, and occasionally, enchanted trinkets she insists you “simply must have.”
“oh, wow, that outfit is so scandalocious! no one wears pink like you do!” glinda’s endless flattery toes the line between sweet and over-the-top.
despite her bubbly demeanor, glinda gets a little possessive... she might interrupt your conversations with others by swooping in, linking arms with you, and whisking you away under the guise of “urgent matters.”
elphaba is so done. she immediately catches on to glinda’s feelings and rolls her eyes at every lovestruck sigh or poorly veiled attempt to get your attention. “just tell her already,” she mutters, but glinda insists she’s being subtle.
not even fiyero can get away. he becomes glinda’s reluctant confidant. she quizzes him endlessly. “do you think she noticed my new hairpin? was it obvious when i accidentally brushed her hand?”
glinda occasionally ropes her more impressionable classmates into “spontaneous” group activities that just happen to involve you. picnic by the emerald city fountain? surprise study group? all glinda’s doing.
when you don’t pick up on her hints, glinda cranks up the theatrics. she might “accidentally” trip so you can catch her, dramatically swoon when you compliment her, or claim she needs your advice about “a dear friend who’s in love with someone amazing…”
subtlety? what subtlety? if all else fails, she starts making outrageous claims, like how the stars in the night sky don’t shine as brightly as your eyes. by this point, even munchkins are side-eyeing her obviousness.
very possessive. very jealous. careful, she bites. if she sees you talking to someone she doesn’t quite trust, glinda will immediately try to steal your attention. whether it’s showing up next to you with a loud “oh, darling, there you are!” or tugging you away by the waist with a soft, dramatic "i need you for just a second...", her jealousy is obvious, but she tries to play it off with a sweet, innocent demeanor. It's almost too cute to notice, but not quite.
when she finally confesses, you can expect a dramatic monologue.
glinda’s confession is a whirlwind of dramatic proclamations and heartfelt vulnerability. “dearest, i simply cannot go another day without telling you… you are the brightest star in my sky, the melody in my heart, and the only person who can make me feel like this!”
when you admit you feel the same, glinda’s jaw actually drops even if she had spent weeks trying to make you notice her. she recovers quickly, though, already planning millions of dates.
expect her to immediately start gushing to everyone who’ll listen. “attention, everyone! she said yes! isn’t she just perfect?” meanwhile, you’re trying to hide your face from the attention.
in a relationship, when you catch her being a little too clingy or dramatic after seeing someone else talk to you, glinda will act innocent, flashing you her most dazzling smile while saying, "me? jealous? oh, princess, no. i’m simply making sure you know you’re mine.” she’ll lean in for a kiss as if nothing's wrong, but you can tell she's putting on an act.
if she feels like she’s losing your attention for too long, she might retreat into a little meltdown, just to get you to reassure her. she’ll dramatically sigh and pout, plopping herself next to you on the couch or across the room. “ugh, why do they even talk to you like that? you’re too good for them!” her jealousy is always a bit over the top, but the underlying sentiment is clear: she wants all your love, and she wants it now.
expect your individuality to be gone when you become her girlfriend. you could be in a party and someone offered you pizza and glinda would wrap her arm around your waist, pull you close and say "oh, we would love it, don't we, my dear?"
personal space? there's no such a thing when glinda is your girlfriend, please! physical touch is a must. kissing, hugging, biting your cheeks or ears affectionately (or more), holding hands anywhere and any time, rubbing your back or your knee when sitting next to each other, you name it.
NSFW (MDNI)!!!
a very soft top!!!
glinda throws herself into everything with gusto, and intimacy is no exception. she treats every moment as though it’s a grand performance, designed to leave you utterly breathless.
glinda loves to talk during intimate moments. she’s shamelessly loud, peppering the air with compliments, exclamations of delight, and plenty of your name. it’s never quiet with her, not that you’d want it to be.
she talks you through it and she isn't shy about it. she likes giving orders and watching you fall apart when following religiously every word she says.
she’ll tease you mercilessly, grinning as she whispers things like, “oh, darling, you’ll have to beg if you want more. i couldn't quite hear you.”
while glinda radiates self-assurance, there’s also an adorable side of her that craves reassurance and exploration. “do you like it when i do this?” she’ll ask, watching your every reaction like her life depends on it.
if you wear glasses, she would love to keep it during sex. "let's put that back in," she says, while gracefully on top of you.
during your first time, she'd be so gentle and attentive to how you'd react to every touch of hers. you feel like passing out when she runs her fingers through your soaked folds so patiently just to see your face contorting in pleasure.
"oh, there it is," she says softly, with that adorable smile feigning innocence, when you trembled at the pad of her thumb touching your clit.
sometimes, when you are in your shared dorm after class, tired and sitting on your bed, you decide to read a book. it takes glinda nothing more than 5 seconds to get bored and impatient and climb onto the bed, crawling to you to spread your legs open and sit in between them. you'd complain and say you were reading and she'd go like "of course. keep doing that, darling, i'm not stopping you," before having her face buried in your pretty pussy.
glinda loves trailing her lips along your neck, often leaving faint marks she calls “little declarations of my adoration.” the hollow of your collarbone is her second favorite spot, especially if you’re wearing something that exposes it. you can't blame her, she likes showing you off!
she finds kissing your thighs endlessly fascinating, claiming it’s the “perfect way to worship you.” expect slow, lingering kisses here, especially when she’s feeling extra romantic (or very horny).
there’s something incredibly intimate about the way she kisses your fingertips and palms, sometimes intertwining your fingers with hers as she gazes at you like you’re the only person in existence.
tell her how beautiful she is, how good she’s making you feel, or how much you want her, and she’ll melt into a puddle of happiness. her confidence skyrockets when you’re vocal about your admiration.
glinda adores the little things. running her hands over every curve of your body, memorizing your favorite spots, and taking her time to make sure you feel completely adored.
post-intimacy, glinda becomes the clingiest cuddle bug ever. she insists on holding you close, peppering you with soft kisses, and telling you (loudly) just how much she adores you. if you let go of her to go get some water, she'll get very upset. do you even love her? do you hate her now? how dare you to abandon her for... 10 seconds?

Study session interrupted.
Pairing: Elphaba Throbb x reader.
Trigger warnings: none.
Requests.
Tumblr media
It was a quiet afternoon in Elphaba’s room. The green walls, adorned with a few scattered books and a flickering candle, cast a soft glow over the space. You and Elphaba were sitting at her desk, books and papers spread out in front of you as you both tried to focus on the assignments at hand. The sound of the quill scratching against the parchment was the only noise, aside from the occasional rustle of pages.
You had been studying for what felt like hours, but your mind kept drifting. Every now and then, you found yourself glancing over at Elphaba. She was so focused, her sharp eyes scanning the pages, the dim light casting shadows that only made her look even more ethereal.
“You’re staring again,” Elphaba said, her voice a teasing drawl, her green eyes lifting from the page to meet yours.
You blinked, a little startled. “Am I?”
She smirked, the corner of her mouth twitching in amusement. “You know, you really should stop doing that. It's distracting.”
“Distracting, huh?” you asked, leaning in a little closer. “I didn’t know I had that kind of power over you.”
Elphaba arched an eyebrow, the challenge in her expression as clear as ever. “Oh, you definitely do,” she said with a hint of mischief in her voice.
Before you could respond, your face broke into a grin. “You’re such a tease, Elphie.”
Her lips quirked, and with a swift motion, she set her quill down, pushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. The next thing you knew, she was leaning in, her breath warm on your lips.
You couldn't resist anymore. You closed the gap between you, lips meeting hers in a soft, lingering kiss. It was gentle at first—just a quiet affirmation of your feelings—but as she responded, it deepened, the warmth between you both intensifying.
Just as Elphaba’s hand reached to cup your face, the door to her room creaked open.
“Hey, Elphie, I—” Glinda’s voice trailed off, her wide eyes locking on the scene before her. Her hand froze on the doorknob, and she stared at the two of you, her mouth slightly open in exaggerated surprise. “Well, this is… unexpected.”
You and Elphaba quickly pulled apart, your cheeks burning with embarrassment. Elphaba’s green skin flushed darker, a subtle shade of red creeping across her face. She turned away, trying to hide her flustered expression behind her hands.
Glinda, ever the dramatic one, stepped fully into the room, crossing her arms over her chest and looking between the two of you with a teasing grin. “You know, I never took you for a couple that couldn’t keep their hands off each other.”
You cleared your throat awkwardly, glancing at Elphaba, who was avoiding eye contact with both of you. “We weren’t doing anything,” you said quickly, although your tone didn’t help much in convincing anyone.
Elphaba shot you a look that could only be described as ‘please help me,’ and for a moment, you almost wanted to disappear into the floor.
Glinda, still grinning, glanced at the desk and the scattered papers. “Right. So, studying, huh? I mean, I can see the study materials… but that doesn’t explain the heavy make-out session.”
You let out a nervous laugh, shaking your head. “We were just... taking a break.”
“Elphaba, taking breaks? Now that’s a surprise,” Glinda teased, crossing her arms.
“Alright, alright, we get it, Glinda,” you said, rolling your eyes. “You’ve made your point.”
There was a pause before you broke the awkward tension with a grin. “But if you’re gonna interrupt, at least bring snacks next time. A little courtesy goes a long way.”
Elphaba snorted, her earlier embarrassment fading as she glanced at you, her lips curling in an amused smile. “You’re terrible.”
“And yet, you love me,” you said, winking at her.
Glinda, clearly done with her teasing, raised an eyebrow. “Well, I suppose I’ll leave you two to... study. But next time, maybe knock before diving into the room like that. I don’t need to witness all your private moments.”
“Got it, Glinda,” you said, still trying to get your composure back.
Glinda smiled and gave a dramatic wave. “Don’t mind me. I’ll just be over here, not judging you,” she added with an exaggerated wink as she left the room, closing the door behind her.
Once she was gone, you turned back to Elphaba, who was trying to suppress a chuckle. “Well, that was something,” you said, brushing your fingers through your hair.
Elphaba shook her head, a small smile lingering on her lips. “We really need to work on our privacy skills.”
“Agreed,” you said, settling back into your seat. “But for now… what were we saying before all that?”
Elphaba raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “I believe we were about to continue where we left off… without interruptions, of course.”
“Right,” you grinned, leaning in once again, knowing full well that no matter how many times Glinda walked in, you’d always find your way back to Elphaba.

scissoring with galinda for the first time ; mdni
when it comes to galinda, she’s always been a bratty sub. she’s a complete pillow princess who just wants you to show her how much you truly love and worship her by spending hours between her plush thighs. so, who were you to say no to her big doe eyes and small pout when she shyly brought up the fact that she wanted to try scissoring with you for the first time?
galinda pushes you back on your dorm bed and hurriedly unlaces her pink lingerie with an eager look in her eyes.
“are you sure about this, princess?” you watch as she bites her lip and slides off your panties, then tossing them on the floor.
“yes, very sure. i want to do this with you.” the blonde breathes out before climbing onto the bed and spreading your legs. “i have been waiting all day for this.” galinda maneuvers her own legs over yours, letting out a faint gasp when her puffy clit barely brushes against yours.
“do you need me to guide you?” you rasp out, gazing up at your girlfriend’s body and letting your eyes linger on her tits. “you’re so pretty, sweet girl.”
instead of using her words, galinda slowly places her hands over your hands, dragging them up her legs before stopping at her waist. you firmly grip her waist to give her support as she starts grinding her wet pussy against yours. her jaw slowly falls open in pleasure, becoming overwhelmed at the feeling of your slick mixing together. “feels so good.” she gasps. galinda moves her hands up your chest, letting them rest on your tits before squeezing them, her acrylics digging into your flesh, destined to leave marks later. “fuck, i didn’t..” she can barely finish her sentence as she glides her clit on yours, “i didn’t think it would feel this good.”
you smile up at her, lost in a trance and too focused on the feeling of her warm cunt meeting yours. “galinda, fuck, right there. you’re doing so good." you moan out. you can feel galinda’s clit throbbing against yours as she ruts her hips, chasing after her orgasm.
her moans get progressively louder, her hips rocking at an even faster pace. she glides her nails back down your stomach and holds onto your lower body for support as she rides out her orgasm. “mm’ so close, please, please.” she gasps, the wet squelching sounds of her cunt echoing throughout the dorm. “i love you, i love you, fuck!” her eyes close in pleasure and she comes undone, her cunt clenching around nothing and letting out her hot release on your clit.

spent ages looking for good fics with elphaba x reader or glinda x reader only to find this masterpiece
⋆. 𐙚 ˚ — unexpected love; elphaba thropp & glinda upland
paring : elphaba thropp x glinda upland x fem!reader
reader sticks up for elphaba, glinda feels bad and starts being nicer, she finds herself feeling things, that aren’t platonic?
Tumblr media
The air at Shiz was always electric, the hum of students rushing through hallways, whispers of gossip swirling in every corner, and the constant pressure of exams hanging over everyone’s heads.
For most students, this was just part of the grind—but for you, there was always something else: the undercurrent of loneliness that seemed to follow Elphaba, as constant as her shadow.
It wasn’t that she wasn’t capable of handling it. Elphaba was strong, more than anyone gave her credit for. But there was something about the way she carried herself—isolated, guarded, as if she were constantly preparing for a world that was always just a step away from breaking her.
You never could quite understand why people treated her the way they did, but there you were, sitting beside her at the long wooden table in the common room, a soft breeze trickling through the open window. You tried to concentrate on your homework, the quiet clatter of books and papers the only sound in the room, when suddenly, you heard Glinda’s unmistakable voice.
“Well, Elphaba,” Glinda said with a little too much cheer, her voice dripping with something between amusement and mockery, “are you sure you’re not going to burn your papers with all that… heat you’re giving them?”
You could feel Elphaba tense beside you, her eyes narrowing at the comment.
Her quill paused mid-sentence, and for a second, you swore the temperature in the room dropped a few degrees. Glinda, oblivious as always to the weight of her words, continued, her gaze flicking between you and Elphaba.
“I mean, really,” she added, her words light as a feather but sharp as a blade. “You can’t possibly be having fun with all this studying, can you? I don’t even know how you do it. You must be miserable.”
You didn’t even think, just reacted. You pushed yourself slightly out of your seat, leaning over to face Glinda.
“Glinda, that’s enough,” you said, voice steady but carrying an edge. “Just because Elphaba doesn’t care for endless gossiping and glitzy parties doesn’t mean she’s miserable.”
Glinda blinked, surprised by your sudden defense. “Oh, come on, I was just joking around!” she said, her tone faltering. “We’re friends, right?”
You couldn’t help the frustration that bubbled up inside you. “Being friends means treatingeach other like friends, not making sarcastic comments about how someone spends their time. Elphaba works hard. And maybe if you stopped acting like her studying was some kind of joke, you’d see that.”
There was a charged silence in the room as the words hung in the air, the tension between you and Glinda palpable.
But then, you saw it. The faintest glimmer in Elphaba’s eyes, the tiniest of smiles tugging at the corners of her lips. It was small, but it was there. And for a split second, you wondered if you’d made a mistake.
“I’m… sorry,” Glinda said, her voice soft, and the apology seemed genuine, though laced with the uncertainty of someone who didn’t quite understand what they’d done wrong. “I didn’t mean to upset you, Elphaba.”
Elphaba didn’t look up, but her voice was quieter than usual, a softness you didn’t often hear. “I’m fine, really. But… thanks. For standing up for me.”
The words landed between the three of you, shifting the atmosphere like a breeze before a storm. Glinda, for once, seemed at a loss for words, and you couldn’t quite read the expression on Elphaba’s face—was it appreciation, or something else?
But in that moment, something changed. Maybe it was just a small crack in the surface, or maybe it was the beginning of something deeper.
The three of you sat there, the awkwardness lingering for just a moment longer than it should have, before the tension slowly eased, replaced by the comfortable silence of shared space.
The days after the incident in the common room were strange—different, in a way that neither of you quite understood. Elphaba still kept mostly to herself, immersed in her studies, and Glinda, while she made an effort to be nicer, still hovered around with her usual antics.
But something had shifted. There was a subtle warmth between you and Elphaba, something unspoken, but real.
You weren’t sure what had changed exactly—maybe it was the way she’d looked at you after you stood up for her, or the quiet thank you she’d offered afterward, but the distance between you seemed to lessen.
You started finding excuses to sit near her during meals, offering her a quiet smile or the occasional comment about the weather or the homework that both of you hated equally. Small things, but they meant something.
One day, you found yourself sitting at the corner of the courtyard, nursing a warm drink in your hands as you watched the late afternoon sunlight spill across the grass. The rest of the campus had emptied out, leaving only a few students wandering between buildings, but you weren’t alone.
Elphaba had joined you quietly, as she always did—no words at first, just a soft thud of her boots as she sat beside you.
You didn’t mind the silence. In fact, you welcomed it. There was a comfort in sitting with someone without needing to fill the space with chatter. Elphaba always seemed to prefer it that way, and so did you.
After a few minutes, Elphaba shifted slightly in her seat, her eyes on the distant horizon. You knew she wasn’t one for small talk, but you couldn’t help yourself.
“Do you think the world will ever change?” you asked quietly, your voice barely above a whisper. “Like, really change?”
Elphaba’s gaze flickered over to you, and for a moment, there was hesitation in her eyes. She had a habit of keeping her emotions tightly locked away, but you could see the shift—the way her shoulders relaxed just a fraction, as if she was finally letting herself breathe.
“You mean in the way people treat each other?” she asked, her voice low but thoughtful.
You nodded, meeting her eyes now. “Yeah. I mean… Glinda and the others—they don’t always see what’s really going on with you. They don’t see how hard you work, or how much you care. They just see… whatever they want to see.”
Elphaba’s lips tightened for a moment, and you could see the familiar bitterness flash in her eyes. But then, she sighed, a soft, almost reluctant sound. “I’ve learned to stop trying to change their minds. People don’t change that easily. But maybe… maybe it’s enough if I change the way I see things.”
You didn’t speak right away, letting the words sink in. There was something vulnerable in her tone, a rare honesty that you didn’t expect from her. You offered a small, reassuring smile, the kind that didn’t need to be said aloud.
“Maybe the world doesn’t have to change all at once,” you said. “Maybe it just takes one person to change the way they see things. Even if it’s just you and me.”
Elphaba looked at you then, her green eyes softening, and for the first time in what felt like ages, you saw a glimpse of something warm—something genuine.
“Yeah,” she said, the corners of her lips lifting into the smallest of smiles. “Maybe you’re right.”
From that moment on, it was clear that something was blooming between the two of you. It wasn’t fast, it wasn’t perfect, but it was real.
There were no grand gestures, no big moments of dramatic confession—just the slow, steady building of a quiet friendship that you both desperately needed.
The next few weeks felt like a blur—study sessions, homework, and the constant shuffle of life at Shiz. But between the chaos, you found yourself drawn to Elphaba more and more. It wasn’t anything spectacular, just the quiet comfort of being in each other’s company.
One evening, after a particularly grueling day of exams, you found yourself sitting by the fire in the common room. Elphaba was at her usual spot by the window, a book in hand, her dark green face partially illuminated by the soft glow of the firelight. You were curled up in one of the armchairs, trying to relax your sore muscles.
Elphaba glanced over at you, noticing the tense line of your shoulders. “You’re not sleeping well, are you?” she asked, her voice unexpectedly gentle.
You looked up at her, surprised. “What? Oh, I just… I’m fine. Just tired.”
She raised an eyebrow. “You look like you’re carrying the weight of the world. You should take a break sometime, you know.”
You chuckled softly, leaning back in your chair. “I guess it’s hard to stop once you’ve gotten used to pushing through it.”
Elphaba paused, her eyes thoughtful. “Sometimes pushing through can break you.”
The unexpected honesty caught you off guard, but you could tell she wasn’t just speaking from theory. You met her gaze, offering a small, understanding smile.
“Maybe we can both take a break then,” you said, sitting up. “You know, from all this studying.”
Elphaba raised an eyebrow. “And what exactly do you suggest?”
Without warning, you reached for the stack of books on the table and tossed them aside. “I don’t know… something more fun. How about a walk around the campus? The fresh air might do us some good.”
Elphaba looked like she was about to protest, but after a long pause, she gave a slight nod. “Fine. But if we end up in the stables, I’m going straight back inside.”
You laughed, already standing up. “Deal.”
A few days later, you and Elphaba were sitting on the grassy hill near the courtyard, sharing stories and laughs.
The conversation drifted from mundane things—what the professors had said in class that day—to more personal matters.
Elphaba opened up, little by little, talking about her childhood, about the people who didn’t understand her. You listened, never interrupting, just offering a kind word when it was needed. There was a rare vulnerability in her voice, a softness you hadn’t seen before.
“I don’t think many people really get me,” she said quietly, looking out at the sunset. “But I’m starting to think maybe… maybe that’s okay.”
You smiled gently, your heart swelling at the moment of quiet connection. “You don’t have to be like everyone else, Elphaba. You’re already pretty amazing the way you are.”
The words seemed to hang in the air between you, both of you silent for a long time, just enjoying each other’s presence.
It wasn’t long before Glinda started showing up, too—seemingly out of nowhere. At first, she’d wander into the courtyard while you and Elphaba were sitting together, her high heels tapping loudly against the stone path.
“Okay, okay,” Glinda would say, holding up her hands in mock surrender. “I’ll join you guys, but only because I can’t stand seeing you both brooding all alone. It’s so dramatic.”
You and Elphaba exchanged amused glances, but neither of you protested. Glinda, despite her sometimes overwhelming personality, had her moments of genuine sweetness, and she seemed to be trying—really trying—to be more kind.
Slowly, the three of you fell into a routine.
Glinda would join you and Elphaba for casual walks around campus, or sit beside you both at meals. It wasn’t perfect. There were moments of tension, especially when Glinda’s usual teasing slipped out, but you could tell she was making an effort. And for Elphaba, that meant something.
One afternoon, the three of you found yourselves in the library. Elphaba had just finished another stack of books, and Glinda had somehow dragged the two of you into a heated debate about the best way to decorate the dorms for the upcoming semester.
The conversation was lighthearted, but there was something new in the air—the way you all felt more like a team, like friends who’d somehow found each other.
At one point, Glinda leaned back in her chair, smirking. “You know, you two really are a mysterious pair. Elphaba’s always so serious, and you,” she turned to you, “well, you’re just toonice. You balance each other out pretty well.”
You exchanged a look with Elphaba, a smile tugging at your lips. “I guess we do.”
And in that moment, despite the chaos of everything around you, it felt like you were finally all on the same page. Glinda, with her shine and spark, Elphaba, with her quiet intensity, and you, somewhere in between, finding your place.
It wasn’t perfect. But for the first time in a long while, it felt like things were right.
It was a quiet evening, and the three of you had just finished a rather long study session. You were now lounging in the common room, the crackle of the fireplace the only sound filling the space. You were tired, but there was a strange sense of comfort in the familiar routine of being with both Elphaba and Glinda.
Elphaba, of course, had her nose buried in yet another book, her eyes scanning the pages with intensity. Glinda, however, had managed to sneak away from her own homework, casually leaning back in her chair and humming a tune.
After a moment, Elphaba let out an exasperated sigh, clearly frustrated with whatever she was reading. She rubbed her temples, closing the book with a soft thud.
“Something wrong?” Glinda asked, not even looking up from her reflection in the mirror as she adjusted a strand of hair. Her tone was light, teasing, but there was something softer in it than usual.
Elphaba didn’t answer immediately. She simply stared at the pages of her book, a frown creasing her brow. You could tell it wasn’t just the material that was bothering her.
“It’s just… this isn’t going the way I thought it would,” Elphaba muttered, her voice quieter now. “I thought I could just study and figure things out. But sometimes, it feels like no matter how much I do, I’m still falling short.”
Glinda finally turned her head, meeting Elphaba’s gaze. For a moment, there was a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes—something real, something far from the usual bubbly facade.
“You’re not falling short, Elphaba,” Glinda said softly, her voice sincere. “You’re doingeverything. And sometimes, that’s enough, even if it doesn’t feel like it.”
Elphaba blinked, clearly caught off guard by Glinda’s sudden seriousness. The words seemed to hang in the air for a moment, as if Elphaba was processing them, allowing herself to actually hear them.
“Thanks,” Elphaba finally said, her voice almost shy. She shifted in her seat, her tone slightly more hesitant than usual. “I… I know I don’t always say it, but I appreciate it.”
Glinda smiled, though it wasn’t the usual teasing grin. It was soft, almost tender. “Of course, Elphie. You know I’ve got your back.”
There was a long silence after that. You could almost feel the weight of the moment hanging between them, and for the first time, it didn’t feel forced. There was no pretense, no sarcasm—just two people, quietly learning to understand each other.
Another day, the three of you had wandered into the courtyard after dinner, the air crisp as the sun began to dip below the horizon. Elphaba and Glinda had naturally fallen into their usual banter, but there was a new ease in their interactions—like the sharp edges of their old rivalry were softening just a bit.
“So, how’s that little project you’ve been working on?” Glinda asked, throwing Elphaba a sidelong glance. “I’m sure it’s something insufferably intellectual, right?”
Elphaba shot Glinda a look that would have been intimidating on anyone else, but Glinda just giggled.
“I’m trying to write something,” Elphaba said, a small but proud smile playing on her lips. “Not that it’s any of your business.”
Glinda gasped dramatically, her hands flying to her chest. “I knew it! You’re secretly a poet! I should’ve figured it out all along. You’re so deep, Elphaba, it’s tragic.”
Elphaba rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress the chuckle that escaped her lips. “I’m not a poet, Glinda. I just think—well, never mind.”
But Glinda wasn’t about to let it slide. “No, no. Tell me! What’s your secret talent? Come on, I’m practically begging you.”
You watched as Elphaba seemed to hesitate, but then, slowly, she gave in. “Fine,” she muttered, turning to face Glinda more directly. “I write letters. To people I don’t know. Just… random thoughts.”
Glinda blinked in surprise, and for a moment, you thought she might say something sarcastic, but instead, she looked almost thoughtful.
“That’s… actually kind of nice,” Glinda said quietly. “I think it’s sweet that you get your thoughts out that way. It’s… personal, you know?”
Elphaba didn’t look at Glinda, her gaze focused on the ground beneath her. “Yeah, well. It’s the only way I can make sense of things sometimes.”
There was something almost vulnerable in Elphaba’s words, and for once, Glinda didn’t tease her. Instead, she reached out, gently tapping her on the arm.
“Hey, I think that’s really cool, Elphie,” she said softly. “If you ever want to share one, I’ll listen.”
Elphaba looked at her, and for a fleeting moment, there was a quiet understanding between them—a moment where the walls they’d both built started to crack, just a little.
The day was clear and warm, the kind of afternoon that made Shiz seem less like a strict, academic institution and more like a peaceful haven.
After much coaxing, Glinda had convinced you and Elphaba to join her for a picnic in the gardens—though Elphaba had initially protested the idea, claiming that she “didn’t have time for such frivolity,” you knew she’d come around.
There was something about the way the sunlight filtered through the trees that made it hard to resist.
By the time the three of you found a good spot near a large oak tree, the air was thick with the sounds of birds and distant chatter from other students enjoying their free time. Glinda spread out a blanket with more flourish than necessary, tossing her hair over her shoulder dramatically.
“Look at us, spending a lovely afternoon together,” Glinda said with a smile, her voice warm. “Just three friends, living our best lives. Totally not a date.”
You raised an eyebrow, glancing at Elphaba as she set down the basket. Elphaba rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the small smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
“Right, not a date,” Elphaba agreed dryly. “I’m just here to make sure neither of you gets sunburned.”
You chuckled, settling down on the blanket and pulling out a sandwich. Glinda, of course, had already prepared an impressive spread, with sandwiches, fruit, and something that looked suspiciously like cupcakes.
“So,” Glinda started, her eyes sparkling mischievously, “what’s the deal with you two, anyway?”
You froze for a second, glancing at Elphaba. “What do you mean?”
Glinda grinned. “You know… you two. You’ve been hanging out a lot. It’s adorable, really. Everyone at Shiz is starting to talk.”
You could feel the warmth creeping up your neck, and Elphaba’s expression mirrored yours—both of you caught off guard by the sudden shift in conversation. Glinda, though, was practically glowing with amusement, clearly enjoying the moment.
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you said, fumbling with your sandwich as if that would somehow distract from the awkwardness.
“Come on,” Glinda continued, eyes twinkling. “Don’t pretend you haven’t noticed the way Elphaba looks at you. And you—” she pointed at you, “—you get all shy whenever she says something nice.”
Elphaba’s face turned a shade darker, and she quickly reached for a piece of fruit to avoid looking at either of you. “You’re ridiculous, Glinda. It’s not like that,” she muttered, though her voice lacked its usual sharpness.
“Oh, sure,” Glinda said with a wink. “Whatever you say, Elphie. But it’s not just the two of you. I mean, look at how you’re all sitting so close. The world can tell, you know.”
You looked down at the blanket, realizing that, somehow, you and Elphaba had ended up sitting next to each other, with only a few inches between you.
Glinda was sitting just a little further off, but still close enough that it made the arrangement seem… odd.
Was it a date? It hadn’t felt like one, not in the way Glinda seemed to be implying. You and Elphaba had always shared moments like this, just the two of you, without any intention of anything romantic.
But now, in the warm afternoon sunlight, with Glinda’s teasing floating in the air, you couldn’t help but feel a little self-conscious.
“I don’t think anyone’s going to get the wrong idea,” you said quickly, shifting uncomfortably. “We’re just friends, right?”
Elphaba shot you a look, and despite herself, a small, almost imperceptible smirk tugged at her lips. “Right. Just friends.”
Glinda leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “Are you sure? Because if this is a secret date, I have to know all the details. I’m your number one fan, after all.”
You laughed nervously, the awkwardness still hanging in the air. But even as you spoke, you couldn’t help but notice how comfortable you felt sitting next to Elphaba. It was natural, easy, like the conversation didn’t even need to be said aloud.
“Maybe we should just enjoy the picnic, huh?” you suggested, trying to steer the conversation away from romance and back to the lightheartedness you had before.
“Fine, fine,” Glinda said, leaning back with a dramatic sigh. “But I’ll be watching. Don’t think I won’t figure this out.”
The afternoon continued, and as the sun began to set, the three of you settled into a more relaxed atmosphere.
Elphaba, despite her usual guarded nature, actually seemed to be enjoying herself. She even joined in on some of the jokes, laughing along with Glinda’s exaggerated tales of her “glamorous” life.
You caught a quiet moment with Elphaba near the end of the picnic, the two of you standing together at the edge of the blanket.
“Don’t mind her,” you said softly, nudging Elphaba gently. “She likes to stir things up.”
Elphaba smirked, but it was warmer than usual. “Yeah, well, if she keeps calling us a couple, I might just have to kiss you to make her stop.”
Your eyes widened, and Elphaba, clearly having fun with her teasing, quickly added, “I’m kidding.”
But for just a split second, you both locked eyes, and there was a strange flutter in your chest. Maybe it was the lighthearted teasing, maybe it was just the moment, but there was something in the air between you that felt different. Real. Honest. And just maybe, Glinda wasn’t entirely wrong.
It was one of those rare, quiet evenings when the campus seemed to settle into a peaceful lull. After a week of chaotic classes and exams, the three of you—Elphaba, Glinda, and you—found yourselves gathered in the Shiz common room.
The fireplace crackled softly, casting flickering shadows across the space. You were all tired, but there was a certain warmth in the room—something unspoken that made you want to stay there, together.
Glinda, as usual, was sprawled out on a couch, her legs propped up on the armrest, a bright grin on her face. You and Elphaba sat nearby, Elphaba with a book in hand, and you just enjoying the peaceful evening.
“So,” Glinda began, turning to look at you with a mischievous glint in her eyes, “tell me, dearest,” she addressed you with exaggerated sweetness, “have you thought any more about… us?” She leaned forward a little, her voice full of playful teasing. “You know, you and me. We’d be fabulous together.”
You blinked, unsure of where she was going with this, but you recognized the look in her eyes—she was clearly setting the stage for another round of her usual flirtatious games.
“Oh no,” you said, raising an eyebrow. “Don’t tell me you’re going to start again.”
Glinda pouted, dramatically flicking her hair over her shoulder. “What? No! I just think we’d be so cute together, don’t you? You’re so charming, so adorable… And honestly, I’ve got nothing but time and way too many compliments for you, darling.”
Elphaba, who had been trying to ignore the conversation by pretending to focus on her book, couldn’t help but roll her eyes. She made a sound of disbelief—half annoyance, half amusement.
“Glinda,” Elphaba said, not bothering to hide her sarcasm. “You can’t just flirt with everyone you meet. You’re giving all of us a headache.”
Glinda simply flashed Elphaba an innocent smile, unbothered by her comment. “Oh, come on, Elphie, it’s all in good fun. Besides,” she added with a sly smile, “I can’t help it if I have perfecttaste, can I?”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Right, because you just can’t resist flirting with me.” You paused for a moment, making eye contact with Glinda, before adding with a teasing tone, “Is it because you secretly like me?”
Glinda leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with a flirty challenge. “Oh, you,” she said with a sigh, batting her lashes. “You make it so hard to stay professional, don’t you?”
Elphaba, clearly not amused, raised an eyebrow. “Are you really flirting with her right now? In front of me? This is ridiculous.”
You chuckled, knowing exactly what Elphaba meant. There was something a little over-the-top about the whole situation, but you couldn’t deny it—Glinda’s flirting was kind of entertaining, in a way. And in some strange way, it was oddly… fun. But there was also something else there, hidden behind her words, a warmth that was starting to feel less like playful teasing and more like something real.
As Glinda continued to talk, there was a subtle change in her energy. She was still being her usual dramatic self, but there was something deeper in the way she was looking at you. Her teasing smile softened, and her voice became quieter, more genuine.
“Seriously though,” Glinda said, her gaze lingering on you for a moment before glancing at Elphaba, “you two are different. You’re like… a breath of fresh air. I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s kind of… refreshing.” She smiled softly, a rare moment of vulnerability breaking through her usual bubbly demeanor.
You were taken aback by her sudden shift, unsure of how to respond, but there was a softness in her tone that made you feel like maybe there was more to her flirtations than you realized. And then, just as quickly as it had come, her flirtatious nature returned, almost like a defense mechanism.
“You two are lucky I’m not making more moves,” Glinda said, winking. “Otherwise, I’d be trouble. You’d never escape me.”
But this time, her teasing didn’t feel like a joke. There was something in the way she looked at you, and something in the way her eyes briefly flicked over to Elphaba, that made you realize that maybe, just maybe, there was more than just flirtation here.
You glanced at Elphaba, noticing the way she had become more still, her eyes focused on her book again but her attention clearly elsewhere. There was a strange tension in the air, like something was hanging between the three of you, unspoken but very much present.
And then, for the first time in a while, you caught Elphaba’s gaze—just for a brief moment—but it felt like more. It wasn’t just the usual friendly glance. It was like she was considering something, feeling something, and so were you.
“Alright, alright,” you said, standing up and trying to shake off the awkward tension. “Let’s just enjoy the quiet for a second, huh?”
Elphaba nodded, clearly still processing everything that had been said. But as the silence stretched on, you noticed her stealing a glance at you every now and then, her usual guarded demeanor slipping just a little.
The night had fallen quiet, the fire in the hearth crackling softly as the three of you sat in the common room. Glinda had slipped into one of her more reflective moods, no longer speaking in her usual dramatic tones. She was sitting cross-legged on the couch, a rare moment of silence surrounding her. You and Elphaba had been talking about trivial matters at first, but it wasn’t long before the conversation began to slow, leaving a heavy stillness in the air.
You couldn’t shake the feeling that something was different—more real—between the three of you now. All of the teasing, the laughter, the flirtations, had led to something unspoken, something that was sitting just beneath the surface, begging to be addressed.
Glinda was the first to break the silence, her voice soft and uncharacteristically serious.
“Do you ever feel like you’re too much?” she asked, looking at both of you. “Like… like you’re pushing everyone away without even meaning to?”
You glanced over at Elphaba, but it was Glinda’s vulnerability that caught you off guard. You didn’t expect her to speak like this, not after all the playful flirting and teasing. The sudden shift in tone left you feeling a little exposed, like she was finally letting down the walls she’d been hiding behind.
Elphaba was quiet, her lips pressed together in contemplation. You could tell she wasn’t sure how to respond to that either, but the vulnerability in Glinda’s voice seemed to make her rethink her usual sarcasm. She shifted a little on the couch, leaning back against the cushions.
“You’re not too much, Glinda,” Elphaba said softly, her voice calmer than usual. “You’re just… honest. Even if it’s wrapped up in jokes and teasing, it’s real.” She glanced at you, and you could feel the unspoken words hanging between you.
You took a deep breath, your heart racing as you finally met Glinda’s gaze. “You know,” you began slowly, “it’s not always about the jokes. Sometimes, the things we say… they actually mean something.” You hesitated, the weight of your own words hitting you harder than you expected. “And I think—”
Glinda’s eyes flicked between you and Elphaba, a sudden realization flashing across her face. “Oh,” she said softly, her voice quieter than before. “So, we’re all just… pretending, huh?”
Your heart skipped a beat. Glinda’s smile faltered for a second, and it was then that you realized how much she truly cared—about you, about Elphaba, about everything. The flirting had never been just for fun; it was her way of masking something deeper, something she had been too afraid to confront.
“I’m not pretending,” you said firmly, taking a step closer. “I think we all know by now that… there’s something between us. Something more than just… whatever we’ve been calling it.”
Glinda’s eyes softened, her usual confident demeanor wavering as she processed your words. And then, finally, Elphaba spoke.
“I’m not good at this kind of thing,” Elphaba said, her voice low and a little unsure. “But I’m not pretending either.” She turned to you, her eyes lingering for just a moment before meeting Glinda’s. “There’s something here. And I think we’ve all been trying to avoid it for too long.”
The words hung in the air like a delicate thread, pulling all of you closer together.
Glinda’s eyes met yours again, and for the first time, you saw the vulnerability behind her teasing. She bit her lip, as if unsure whether to speak her heart. But then, with a deep breath, she said the one thing that made everything click.
“I think… I think I’m in love with you,” Glinda said, her voice barely above a whisper, but the weight of it was undeniable.
You blinked, shocked by the sudden declaration, but as you looked at her, you realized that it wasn’t just a flirtation anymore. This was real. The way her eyes shone with something deeper, something more serious. And in that moment, you realized that you were falling for her too.
“I—” you began, unsure of how to respond, but then Elphaba spoke, her voice steady but full of something raw.
“I’m not going to pretend that I haven’t been feeling the same,” Elphaba said, her eyes unwavering. “I don’t know what this is—what any of this means—but I know that I care about you.” She turned to Glinda, her voice softer now. “And I care about you too, Glinda.”
The room seemed to still as the three of you stood there, unsure of where to go next. The words were out in the open now, hanging in the air, and all you could do was let the silence settle around you.
Glinda’s gaze flicked between you and Elphaba, her lips trembling as she spoke again, this time with a little more certainty.
“Maybe… we don’t need to have all the answers right now,” she said, her voice quieter than before. “Maybe it’s okay just to… feel this. Whatever this is.”
You nodded, your heart still racing as you stepped closer to both of them. “Yeah. Maybe it’s enough just to feel it.”
For a long moment, the three of you simply stood there, the weight of everything that had been left unsaid finally coming to the surface. And in that quiet, uncertain moment, you realized that none of you had to be afraid of what was happening. Maybe the truth was messy, but it was real, and it was yours.
And for the first time in a long while, you felt like you were exactly where you were supposed to be.
The silence stretched between the three of you, heavy and thick, like the calm before a storm. The confession had left you all exposed in ways you hadn’t been before. But for some reason, the tension felt comforting rather than awkward, as though the raw honesty between you and Elphaba and Glinda had created a new kind of connection.
You could hear your heart pounding in your chest, a rhythm that echoed through the space. It wasn’t just the lingering weight of the words spoken—it was the feeling of being on the edge of something new, something that had the potential to change everything.
Glinda was the first to break the silence, but her voice was quieter now, softer. Her usual confident, flirtatious tone had been replaced with something more genuine. “So… we’re really doing this, huh?” Her smile was faint, but there was something in her eyes that made you want to step closer.
You nodded, your voice low as you met her gaze. “Yeah… I think we are.”
Elphaba stood beside you, her arms crossed over her chest as she observed the two of you. There was a quiet understanding in her eyes, and for a moment, you wondered if she was thinking about how all of this had come to be—how you had all been strangers, then friends, and now… something more.
And then, before you could overthink it, Glinda stepped closer to you, her breath catching slightly as she tilted her head. The look in her eyes was intense, but there was something hesitant in her movements—like she was still unsure if she should close the gap that was growing between the three of you.
Without thinking, you reached out, your hand brushing hers. It was a small touch, but it sent a shock of warmth through you. She looked down at your hand, then back up at your face, her expression softening.
“I… I’ve never done this before,” Glinda admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’ve never… felt like this. Not for anyone.”
You didn’t need to say anything in return. You just moved closer, a part of you knowing what was about to happen. And as you stood in front of her, you felt Elphaba’s presence beside you—her steady gaze, her warmth, her unspoken approval. It was as if everything had aligned in this one moment.
Glinda reached up, her fingers brushing against your cheek before she hesitated, searching your eyes. “Are you sure?” she asked softly, her lips only inches away.
You nodded, the closeness between the three of you too electric to ignore. Without waiting any longer, you closed the gap, your lips meeting hers in a soft, tentative kiss. It was slow at first, a gentle exploration of emotions that had been building for so long. You felt the weight of everything that had led to this moment, and in that kiss, you knew that this was the beginning of something new, something beautiful.
But then, as the kiss deepened, you felt another warmth press against your side—Elphaba. You’d almost forgotten she was there, but the moment she moved closer, her hand finding your wrist, you realized that it wasn’t just between you and Glinda anymore. It was between the three of you.
You didn’t pull away from Glinda as you turned your head, your lips now meeting Elphaba’s in a kiss that was both fiery and soft, full of everything that had been unsaid between you for so long. The sensation of two pairs of lips on yours sent a rush of emotions through you—an intoxicating mixture of longing, tenderness, and the realization that this was exactly where you were meant to be.
The kiss was electric—full of unspoken promises and the weight of everything that had been simmering beneath the surface. It wasn’t rushed, but it wasn’t without urgency, either. It was a kiss that spoke volumes without saying a word.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and wide-eyed, you saw the same mixture of wonder and uncertainty reflected in both Glinda’s and Elphaba’s eyes. It wasn’t a perfect moment, but it was real—and for the first time, none of you were afraid to admit that.
Glinda gave a soft laugh, her lips curling into a smile that was equal parts shy and confident. “Well… that was unexpected.”
Elphaba, who had been quiet since the kiss, finally let out a breath, her face flushed. “I guess we’re not pretending anymore,” she said, her voice still slightly unsteady.
You smiled, feeling your heart race as you stood there, between them, realizing that this was just the beginning of something completely new. It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t easy. But it was yours.
“Not pretending,” you agreed, your hand finding Elphaba’s, and then Glinda’s. You stood there for a moment, feeling the weight of the night settle in your bones. Whatever this was, you were ready to face it—with them, together.
laur yaps ᡣ𐭩.ᐟ — okayy first fic how are we feeling about this? I made it in 30 minutes so it may not be the best…but oh well!
have a great day or night <3

I want a version of Wicked which is also the Wizard of Oz,like Dorothy and the rest of the gang still go on their adventure but the whole time Scarecrow/Fiyero is like "I wish my ex and my other ex didn't start this whole conflict Dorothy" and Dorothy is like 11 years old, dealing with the soap opera drama of this polycule and Tin man/Boq isn't making this any better by being an incel.

Fiyero Tigelaar x Reader
Summary: Y/n Upperland of the Upper Uplands, cousin to Galinda Upand, doesn’t have a problem with Fiyero Tigelaar, but that doesnt’t mean that she wants him around. However, after one simple walk with the Winkie Prince, Y/n discovers that he’s not so bad after all.
A/n: hi hi! I’m back with a Fiyero one shot, but that doesn’t mean that I’ve forgotten about the second Bridgerton and I. I’ve written two chapters so far over thanksgiving break and I might try to squeeze in one more chapter or at least half of one before I go back to school. I don’t really have enough time to write when I am at school, so the next time I’ll probably get back to writing during Christmas break which is in a couple weeks. Then I’ll finish the Bridgerton and I and I’m thinking about waiting to finish the Bridgerton and I completely before posting any more chapters, so the ff will probably be finished in December. I wrote this one shot because Wicked has been on my mind 24/7 and I can write whatever comes to mind, but for the Bridgerton and I have to sit down and rewatch Bridgerton episodes so that I can make sure I get all the words exactly right. I hope you guys continue to be patient as I try to finish it :).
I have recently seen the movie Wicked and plan to see 10 million more times because it is SO GOOD. Wicked is basically my whole personality at this point. I was already obsessed with Fiyero, but Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero made my obsession worse (but in a good way :)). And with this obsession comes a Jonathan Bailey Fiyero Tigelaar one shot. I hope you enjoy!! I also have a plan to write another one so stay tuned for that!
It was a beautiful day today, so after class I decided to read at my favorite spot: the bench under the oak tree. I loved it here because it was a peaceful place where I never got disturbed. Or so I thought.
I realized he was near when I heard the sound of boots stepping onto grass. It was only when his shadow blocked the words on the page that I finally looked up.
Fiyero looked down on me with curious eyes, but there was still a charming smile plastered on his face. I tried to hide how his smile affected me, but he must have noticed the change in my demeanor because his smile turned into a smirk.
I thought after my cousin Galinda introduced him to my brother and I earlier today would be the last time I saw him for the day. It appears the Winkie prince had other plans.
“Well what is Miss Upland doing under the oak tree?” He asked.
“Reading.” I held up my book for effect before I continued back to where I left off.
I saw him take a seat beside me on the bench in the corner of my eye.
“It’s Friday.” He continued.
I rolled my eyes. “I know. I can read calendars.” Fiyero chuckled at my blunt and snippy responses. He could clearly tell that I was annoyed by his presence, but he continued to talk anyway.
“It’s Friday and you are here reading under an oak tree. You should be out there having fun.” He used his hands to gesture to all the other students hanging out at the courtyard.
“This is fun to me.”
“School work is fun?”
“Well for your information this book is not for school it’s for me.”
“Well I believe you are filling your head with too many things. You’re thinking too much.”
I rolled my eyes.
“Well that’s not surprising coming from a prince like you.”
“A prince like me?” Fiyero gave a feigned pained expression. “I’m hurt that you would think that way about me.”
“Well I believe that you present yourself as self-absorbed and deeply shallow, but I don’t think you are. I think you use that as a front to hide the fact that you actually care and have thoughts.”
“Excuse me there’s no pretense here. I happen to be genuinely self-absorbed and deeply shallow.”
“Okay.” I said not believing him. I shut my book and stood from the bench. I finished the book I was reading and decided to go search for another one to read.
“Well I guess it was nice talking to you.”
I began to walk back to my room, but he blocked my path.
“Where are you going?”
“Back to my room to find another book.”
“Oh come on. Drop the book for once and have some fun.”
“No.”
I pushed past him and walked away without looking back. I was hoping he would leave me alone after that, but luck was not on my side today.
“Since you’re going back to your room, maybe I can save you the trouble of carrying your book all the way back.”
He grabbed the book from my hand before I could say anything.
“Hey give that back!”
I tried to grab the book back, but he raised the book above my head, so that I couldn’t reach and jumping up was no use. Fiyero was laughing at me struggling, so I sighed in defeat.
“Fine. You can help me carry my singular book up to my room.”
Fiyero was happy with my response because he was smiling from ear to ear. We were now standing nose to nose and I could feel his breath fan across my face. If I looked down I would have perfect access to his lips. Wait what was I thinking? I quickly backed away from him before I did anything stupid. Fiyero smiled down at me and said, “See now that wasn’t so hard now was it? Lead the way princess.”
I would he lying if I said I didn’t get affected by his words. Butterflies filled my stomach and I probably would have melted if I didn’t catch myself. What is wrong with me?
“Princess?”
“Yes princess. It suits you. Princess of the Upper Upperlands.” He said with a dramatic voice.
I was about to retaliate when a certain blondey came to mind.
“Shouldn’t you be calling Galinda princess?” I asked.
“Why would I do that?”
“Because you two are a thing.”
Fiyero chuckled. “I just met her this morning and besides I’m like this with everyone.”
My heart sunk at his words. So he was just treating me like everyone else? But why was I so upset about it? Just a few hours ago I wanted nothing to do with him and now I was disappointed that he’s not treating me differently.
“And if I called her princess then I wouldn’t be able to call you princess. Princess.” He said with a wink.
That definitely lifted my spirits. Sweet Oz! He was making feel a roller coaster of emotions. I could tell there will never be a dull moment with him.
I gave him a small smile but I looked down on the floor to hide it from him. I didn’t want him to notice that I started to warm up to him, but he saw the slight upturn of my lips.
“Well who knew that Miss Upland could smile. It’s a miracle!”
“Oh shut up!” I said, but you could hear the grin in my voice.
“Besides reading, what do you really do for fun?” I looked up at Fiyero and could tell that he truly wanted to know my genuine answer. So it seems that my premonition about him not being self-absorbed and deeply shallow was true.
“Umm…spending time with friends, swimming. Oh there’s a lake in the Upper Upperlands that my family and I go to every summer to cool off and it has such beautiful scenery. Not to mention the nearby ice cream shop…”
I stopped after I realized that I blabbered on. “I’m sorry I sort of got carried away.”
I looked up at Fiyero, but he didn’t seem bothered at all with my tangent. He actually seemed rather interested with what I had to say.
“No continue.” He said with an encouraging smile.
“No I’d rather not.”
I know he wanted to hear more, but he didn’t push me, which I was glad for. I was a little embarrassed with my little outburst.
“Well how about you discover a new way to have fun?” Fiyero said changing the subject.
“How?”
“Come with me to the Ozdust Ballroom tonight. The most swankified place in town.”
“Aren’t we not supposed to be off campus after dark?”
“Yes, but not being allowed to leave after dark makes it more fun!”
“I’ll pass.”
“Where’s your sense of adventure?”
“I left her at home.”
Fiyero paused before he burst into laughter.
“My joke wasn’t that funny.” But I couldn’t help but laugh along with Fiyero.
Fiyero paused again.“Your laugh.”
I took a few moments to recompose myself before asking, “What about my laugh?”
“It’s beautiful.”
I stopped walking and choked on air.
“What?” I asked, but Fiyero ignored me.
“Which way is your room?”
I realized that we have reached the dead end which separated into two hallways.
“This way.” I said as I begin to walk to the right. I walked a little faster to make this walk shorter. I have embarrassed myself way too many times in a such a short amount of time and I just wanted to smash my pillow in my face and scream. The rest of the way was silent until we reached my door.
“Well here we are. My humble abode.” I said. “Thank you for the uh…walk.”
“It was my pleasure. I hope to see you tonight at the Ozdust ballroom Miss Upland.
“Y/n.”
Fiyero smiled at my response.
“Y/n. I hope to see you tonight.”
I opened the door and was about to walk in, but I turned around instead.
“I know you like to put on the facade that you are this Winkie prince who doesn’t have a care in the world, but you’re also human. Yes you might be self-absorbed and shallow, but that’s not all of you and you have thoughts that should be shared. If you take away your crowd of admirers you’ll be left with the real you. If you want to continue with this role in front of everyone then that’s fine…,but you don’t have to be that way with me.”
Fiyero’s expression was unreadable, but I could have sworn I saw flickers of fear and appreciation.
“Y/n…I don’t know what to say.”
His hands fell to his sides and I realized that he still had my book. I slowly inched towards his hand and pulled the book from his grasp. But before I pulled away I took his hand in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze.
“You don’t have to say anything.” I said with a smile.
He nodded and with one last squeeze I pulled away and slowly closed the door shut.
—————————
I laid in my bed, for what seemed like hours, contemplating whether I should go to the Ozdust ballroom or not. I turned to my night stand to see that it’s only been a half hour. I groaned in frustration and covered my face with my pillow. Then I heard a knock at the door. I rose from my bed and opened it to see my brother Ezra.
“You. Me. Ozdust. Tonight.” He said as he entered my room.
“You know about that too?” I said as I shut the door.
“How do you know about it?” He asked curiously.
“I was invited.” I said as I plopped onto my bed. Ezra raised an eyebrow at my words and joined me.
“You were invited?! I wasn’t even invited! Who invited you?”
“So how do you know about it?” I asked avoiding what he asked me.
“I overheard some students talking about it, but don’t avoid the question. Who invited you?”
“Fiyero.”
Ezra’s eyebrows shot up to the ceiling.
“Fiyero Tigelaar of Winkie country? But you hate him.”
“I don’t hate him! Where did you get that impression.”
“When Galinda introduced us to him you didn’t seem to be too pleased with him.”
I thought back to the first impression I had of Fiyero when I first met him.
When he first stood in front of me I took a good look at him and he was exactly what I expected from a Winkie prince. He was dressed to the nines from head to toe. You could tell his blue jacket and pants were made to perfection and the gold accents were sewn with precision. His black polished boots were so shiny that you could even see your own reflection in them. And that was just his clothes.
Fiyero had an aura about him. It was as if he believed he always had to be the center of attention. Reminds me of someone that I know, but I know that Galinda has a heart. It was too soon to tell if he genuinely cares, but by the way he acted and the way the students nearby looked at him, I could already tell that his way of life to everyone else was fake.
Then he approached me later on in the day and I got to know him a little more. I soon realized that he wasn’t all so bad by himself. It was only when he was around everyone else where his walls come up and he acts out his facade.
“I guess I had a change of heart.” I finally answered.
“Uh huh. And how did Fiyero even get the chance to talk to you. The only way that can happen is if you two hung out alone.” Ezra said teasingly as he wiggled his eyebrows. I laughed at his antics.
“Fiyero might have interrupted my peaceful reading time earlier today and I got to know him a little more.”
“Oh?!”
“And before you say anything else there was nothing else to it. He offered to walk me back to my room and that’s when he invited me to the Ozdust ballroom. On our walk back I got to know him a little better and he’s not so bad by himself.”
“Hmm hmm.”
“Nothing else happened!”
“Hey I said nothing!” Ezra said as he lifted his hands to the sides of his face in defense. “But this means that you’re coming!”
“I didn’t say yes.”
“Why-“
“But I didn’t say no either. I’m still thinking about my answer.”
Ezra looped his arm with mine.
“Now I’m forcing you to come because I’m coming and I’m not going to have you sit pathetically in your room.”
“I’m not going to—“
“Ah uh. I won’t take no for an answer. And don’t say you don’t have anything to wear. Your wardrobe is almost as grand and big as Galinda’s.”
Ezra did have a point. I worried about my appearance and wardrobe just as much as Galinda, but I didn’t flaunt it as much as my cousin did.
“Come on.” Ezra grabbed my hands and pulled me up from my bed. He led me to one of my luggage’s that turned into a closet with the push of a button. Ezra pushed the button and pushed me towards my array of dresses.
“Well go on.” He prompted.
I stumbled upon the rack and begin to flip through my choices until I came across a dress that brought a smile to my face.
—————————
Ezra and I missed the boat that Galinda and Fiyero went on, so we arrived at the Ozdust ballroom a little later. I peeked over the corner and was in awe with what I saw.
The entrance of the ballroom had a ginormous staircase which led to the dance floor. At the end of the room was where a band of animals were playing the music. On the ceiling schools of fish were dancing in formation to the beat of the music. That’s when I realized that this ballroom was underwater. That was something I’ve never seen before.
Ezra and I began to walk down the staircase and I began to notice a lot of familiar faces from school.
“Do people come here often?” I asked Ezra. He first attended Shiz last year, so he had a whole year of experience before I came along.
“I would say so. It’s where most people go over the weekend, but this is the first time I’ve ever gone.”
I looked at him shocked. “Really?!”
“Yeah. I’ve never been invited and I’ve always wanted to go, but I never knew how to get here until I overheard those two girls talking today.”
“Well today’s your lucky day!” I said with a smile.
“Indeed it is.” He said with a chuckle. “Oh I see some of my friends I invited over there. Will you be okay on your own?”
“Yeah I will. Galinda should be around here somehere.”
“And Fiyero.” Ezra said with a glint of mischievousness.
“Yeah him too.”
Ezra laughed before he walked over to his two friends. Now I was left alone to fend for myself. I noticed a drink table on the side of the dance floor, so I made my way over there.
I had no idea what was in the glass, but it tasted quite good. I sipped quietly off to the side when I noticed a familiar figure approach me.
“Well if it isn’t Miss Upland.”
“Please don’t call me that.”
“Alright then. Princess.”
“Y/n.” I corrected him
“Princess Y/n.”
I figured it would be pointless so I gave up trying to correct him.
“I was almost starting to think you weren’t going to show up. What made you change your mind? Me?”
“Don’t be so full of yourself Fiyero. My brother forced me to come.”
“Aww so I can’t go around telling people that you’re my date tonight?”
I nearly choked on my drink, but I managed to regain my composure.
“Not a chance.”
“What a shame and to think I was going to ask you to dance.”
“I didn’t say no to that.” I said with a teasing smile. Fiyero looked shocked and glad that I was finally playing his game.
“Since you say so, I’ll just take this.”
Fiyero grabbed the drink from my hand and downed the rest of it before setting it on the table.
“Shall we?” He extended out his hand for me to take. I didn’t say anything, but I accepted his hand and he led me to the dance floor.
He began to twirl and whirl me around to the beat of the music and I found a couple laughs slip from my mouth. I haven’t had this much fun in a long time and I couldn’t believe that Fiyero of all people was making that happen.
One by one Galinda, Ezra, and his friends joined us as well. It was great to not care about the trivial things in life and simply dance through life as Fiyero likes to put it.
At one point the band slowed down the tempo of the music to a slower one and Fiyero gave me a knowing look. I looked back at Ezra and he winked at me before walking off the dance floor with his friends. I turned back to Fiyero and grabbed his hand. He gave me a beaming smiling, put his hands on my hips and began to move me across the ballroom floor.
“You know I’ve been thinking about what you said earlier today.” He said.
“About?” But I had an inkling about what he was talking about.
“About me pretending in front of everyone else.” I simply nodded and waited for him to continue.
“I guess I started doing it in order to hide my true depth of character. It was a way for me navigate the superficial social circles and get the chance to meet powerful people. I’ve done it for so long that I forgot what it’s like to just be me, but you were the first person to ever see through that.”
I took a moment to take in his words. It must have been exhausting to keep up that facade for so long. I felt bad for Fiyero. The fact that he felt the need to live like that.
“Well like I said you don’t have to pretend with me. I want to know the real Fiyero Tigelaar. Do you think you can manage to do that?”
“I can for you.”
Under normal circumstances I would have collapsed right then and there there, but that would do either of us no good. Fiyero had just finished telling me something he’s never spoken out loud before and I have to be the support he needs.
He twirled me around once more before pulling me right back into his arms. Then he brought his mouth up to my ear and whispered changing the subject.
“You look beautiful princess. I couldn’t take my eyes off of you tonight. I must say that blue is definitely your color. You are hands down the most beautiful one here.”
“I don’t think so.” I said as I looked down at the floor bashfully.
Fiyero grabbed my chin with his finger and brought my face up to look up at him.
“I beg to differ.” He grabbed a strand of my hair and pulled it back behind my ear. I felt his breath against my ear and shivers traveled down my spine. No boy has ever gave me as much attention as Fiyero has and I was at a loss with what to do. But in a strange way I knew exactly what to do, which is why I was bold enough to try something.
“Can I tell you a secret?” I whispered in his ear.
Fiyero looked confused, but he nodded anyway. I stood up on my tiptoes and went up to his ear, but at the very last second I grabbed his face and connected his lips with mine.
At first he didn’t responded, and I got so scared I got the message wrong, so I almost pulled away. However, he soon reciprocated the kiss and placed one hand firmly on my waist and the other framing my face. The kiss started simple, but then it became more intense. I would have kept on going, but then I remembered where we were.
I pulled away and looked around to see my brother looking at me with a knowing look as if he was saying I told you so. He mouthed, “And you said there was nothing else to it.”
“Shut up.” I mouthed back.
“Do you want to take this somewhere else? Away from the public eye.” Fiyero asked.
I looked up at his blue eyes and thought about being alone with Fiyero. Being able to hold him and kiss him to my hearts desire. I nodded with a smile.
Fiyero smiled back and interlocked our hands. Together the both of us walked out of the Ozdust ballroom without a care in the world and we simply danced through life.

Minime!reader who doesn’t share a room with Galinda but has her own little section for when she stays the night.
Galinda who doesn’t like others playing with her toys, even when she’s practically neglecting them when price fiyero arrives, and is seeing green (pardon the pun) when she sees Minime!reader with elphaba.
Minime!reader who doesn’t really understand what she’s done wrong as she watches, wide eyed, as Galinda rants and pauses in front of her sat on the bed in galindas room.
Galinda who is seathing when elphaba interrupts her rants by entering their room. And is even madder when she sees the two of you smile at each other!!

Glinda who gets beyond furious when she finds out you’ve been talking to elphaba about magic.
Minime!reader who maybe even joins in the lessons with Madame morrible??
And Imagine during what is this feeling and it’s just them arguing and using you to do so 😭
The rest of shiz getting mad at elphaba for “stealing” you from Galinda while youre just unaware in your lesson with her.
Galinda who makes Minime!reader stay in her room often because she doesn’t like her sharing with anyone but her…
And glinda who gets her parents to complain to have you moved to the room next to hers it would have been in her own but elphaba was already in there.
Glinda who drags Minime!reader to the ozdust with her and fiyero.
Minime!reader who would rather spend the night in her room than sit watching glinda and fiyero flirting in front of her. (Jelly?)
But Galinda who makes her come anyway.
And Minime!reader who’s beyond happy when Galinda stands up for elphaba and she can stop being stuck inbetween the two of them.

Complicated
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your roommate,Glinda Upland, was the most popular girl at Shiz and she was the stereotypical rich mean girl. Somehow you found yourself roommates with her, immediately the school felt sorry for her having to give up her private room. She hated you and the feeling was mutual yet you found yourself enchanted by her. Sometimes starting fights just for her attention.
You found yourself in another argument and as she turned her back you
"Why did it have to be your?" You mumbled quietly.
“What did you just say?” She inquired, her head turned back towards raising a brow.
"Nothing important,Gaaalinda" you rolled your eyes before turning your back to her. The blonde stepped closer, closing the gap between the two of you, grabbing your shoulder and turning you back to face her. The expression on her face was demanding, demanding you to repeat yourself.
“What. Did you. Say?” She repeated herself, her voice firm as she held the eye contact between you both. You pushed her hand off your shoulder
"Don't touch me"  you walked off. She stood there for a long time, staring at you as you walked off. Glinda stared after you in shock and confusion. She was not used to people telling her what to do, especially when those people were ‘beneath’ her. She was more used to the other students tripping over themselves to get the chance to talk to her.
The rest of the day it seemed that Glinda was more distracted than usual, zoning out in class and just being all round quieter than usual. As class ended you walked over to the library.  She began to follow you, keeping a good distance between the two of you so you wouldn’t realise her footsteps following yours and avoid her again.
Hours later the other students walked out of the library, which was soon empty, making it obvious that Glinda was staring at you from across the room. She slowly strutted over to where you were sitting, standing there and waiting for you to notice her. You proceeded to ignore her. Her staring eventually got on your nerves.
"What do you want?"
“What do I want?” Glinda almost exclaimed in surprise, raising her voice in your direction, “I’ve been waiting for hours and you’re sitting there ignoring me.” She looked you up and down, her nose crinkled a little, “And for what it’s worth, those clothes are hideous.” Why did it have to be her? Why? The spoiled rich dive, who looks down on everyone and everything. Why did she have to be the one you fell for?
"Well it's a good thing you're not the one wearing them" you said nonchalantly, still focused on writing down various notes. You could see her fuming, she was used to being the centre of attention, having everyone catering to her and giving her what she wanted. So why was it that you were immune to her charms and didn’t give her a second of your time? It seemed that every time she was around you, you managed to get under her skin in a way no one else had managed yet.
“Are you just going to keep ignoring me?” She huffed, continuing to tap her foot in irritation and growing more and more agitated.
"Just tell me what you want,I don't have all day" She huffed again, her cheeks flushing as she tried to remain angry, but the longer she went without your full undivided attention, the more she found herself feeling… insecure.
“Can you stop writing and look at me for five minutes? Seriously, what is so important in that little book that you can’t pay attention to anything else?”
"Is that what you want, attention? Seriously just go out there, they'll give you all the attention you want"
“I don’t need attention, I get plenty of that!” She replied, her irritation only growing as the words left her mouth. You closed the book and headed out of the library. Without being able to think, purely acting on impulse, she grabbed a hold of your arm and tugged you back, forcing you to turn back and face her. In one moment you turned, freeing your hand and pushing her. Not too hard, but made her stumble a little.
"I told you not to touch me" Glinda’s face fell,
“I don’t understand you,” She stated, shaking her head and taking a step towards you. “Everyone is always falling over themselves to give their attention to me, but you… you’re different,” A scoff. “I hate the way you get under my skin.”
"And I hate that I love you" your anger took over fully ‘and I hate that I love you.’ Her entire face flushed red and her mouth ran dry. She couldn’t speak, she couldn’t think, the words repeating themselves over and over in her head. Silence. "Seriously, why did it have to be you,the spoiled rich diva who thinks she's better than everyone else? The person who's completely blind to how much she looks down at everyone." You were still angry and just rambling. Glinda flinched at every word you spoke as if they were stabs in the chest. This wasn't the reaction she was expecting. In her mind, you were supposed to look at her and fall at her feet. You were supposed to give her the same treatment everyone else did. No, better. You were supposed to look at her like she was the centre of the universe. "You're such a selfish, egotistical vain diva. Why did it have to be you?" You saw her face and just walked away, not looking back.
Once you had walked away, Glinda felt her legs give out from under her and she dropped to the floor. No this wasn’t how it was supposed to happen. She was . Everyone was supposed to love, give her all the attention and affection she wanted. But you. You didn’t do that. You looked at her like everyone else. You refused to give her a second of your time or attention. And why did it hurt so much? You walked through the halls, your heels clicking against the floor as you made your way to your room. Despite this, she tried to look up and maintain a calm and collected front as she walked through the halls. Do not cry,do not cry! At least until you make it back to your room,Glinda thought.
The next morning Glinda spent a full hour at her vanity trying to conceal her red and puffy eyes, speaking out loud to herself so her voice wouldn't give away that she had been crying. No matter how much she tried to use, the redness in her eyes still showed and she huffed in frustration as she continued to try and hide the obvious signs of a sleepless night. She continued to apply copious amounts of concealer to her face in an attempt to hide the obvious signs that she had been upset. Glinda was used to using many different types of makeup, but this morning seemed to be a struggle. You had made it to class before she did, taking your usual seat. Glinda avoided looking in your direction as she headed to her seat and sat down, staring out the window instead. Glinda came in looking as flawless as ever. If anyone looked closely, however, the makeup that she had put on to cover the signs of tears was a little too heavy to be normal and the bags under her eyes would become visible on rare occasions. You overheard some of the other students talking about her,she kept an unusually cold expression on her face.
“Did you see Glinda this morning?”
“Yeah, I was just thinking about how much makeup she’s wearing,”
“Did she try to overdo the makeup to look even more attractive?”
“She looks more like a clown than usual,” The last one irked you,she was vain and a bit of a jerk but she didn't deserve that. You decided to change seats, using your books to smack the girl who said the last comment on the head. You sat down in the back corner of the room. Her eyes followed you to the back of the room. Why did you do that?
Glinda was lost in her thoughts, silently picking at her food but not actually eating any of it as her eyes darted around the hall, keeping an eye out for your entrance. Why would you, someone she had never seen do something like that, suddenly smack a girl on the head for talking about her. It just wasn’t making any sense in her mind. You walked in and were met by Madame Morrible, handing you a box before you got your lunch and sat down.Glinda’s eyes were drawn to you the moment you entered the hall. She found herself watching the interaction you had with Morrible as you were handed an unfamiliar box. Her curiosity peaked, the blonde girl picked up a slice of apple and pretended to focus on her food, not wanting to be caught looking in your direction like an idiot. The moment you stood up and left the hall, her body had the strange impulse to follow. Her eyes followed the small box clutched under your arm as she watched you leave. She quickly got up to follow you out. Glinda had no idea what compelled her to follow you, yet she still did it. Perhaps it was curiosity, or maybe something else. Either way, she was making her way through the halls, searching for you.
“Come on, where are you…” She muttered under her breath as she continued her search. It was taking a few twists and turns in the halls of Shiz, but Glinda was determined. She was used to getting what she wanted, and even if she didn’t know exactly what she wanted at that moment, she was determined to find you. She saw you turn a corner into the courtyard. You sat down on a bench in the corner, the box in your lap as you looked out over the small lake. Glinda took a moment to hide behind a nearby pillar to observe you. The blonde girl took a breath before stepping out and beginning to walk in your direction. What am I going to say? After what you said yesterday but you had also defended her today. It just didn't make sense to her. She knew she was supposed to be feeling anger or disgust after the way you spoke to her yesterday, but the fact you had defended her from those students was completely throwing her off. “Uh… hey…“ You looked up at her
"What is it now?" You asked but not in angry way
“I, uh, I wanted to ask you something…” she mumbled, looking down at the floor.
"Yes,I did defend you and yes I still stand by what I said yesterday. I still think you're a vain and shallow spoiled little princess"
“I-I’m not that bad though, am I?” She still didn’t understand her own feelings and emotions regarding the past day, and she was especially unprepared for you defending her while simultaneously still calling her a spoiled brat.
"You're only saying that because I defended you. So,what's with all the makeup?"
“Uh, it’s…” She hesitated “Um… I… I couldn’t…” she kept stumbling over her words, not knowing how to explain the heavy makeup she had on.
"Sleep?"  Glinda nodded quietly, no longer trying to hide the fact that she had been up all night.
“It’s...it’s because of the things you said.” she mumbled, looking like she wanted the ground to swallow her up.
"At least I said it to your face, you have no idea how many people talk behind your back" Glinda felt a pang of guilt at your words, knowing you were right. She knew that many people talked about her behind her back, a small part of her just didn’t care. But for some reason it was different with you. You’d said what you thought to her face, you hadn’t put up any sort of fake mask before telling her what you thought. Like you had seen through her own mask. She remained silent. “I’m sure you followed me wanting to know what this is” You opened the box, pulling out a wand that looked to be made of blue tinted glass. With a wave of your wand a blue glow enveloping the tip, flowers started floating around in a line that you guided. Moving the flowers around Glinda for a moment before you set them down, some landing on her head and shoulders. Her eyes widened as she saw you pull the wand from the box, and a gasp left her lips as you began to control the flowers with a wave of it.Glinda stared wide-eyed at the sudden action. "Listen, not everyone is gonna to love you,as hard as that is to believe" you said, the last bit a little sarcastic. "Don't get too upset about it"
“Yeah… I know that…” she mumbled, avoiding eye contact again. Glinda knew you were right, not everyone was going to love her. Most people even hated her. But for some reason, she was hurt that you didn’t.
"So why are you so upset that I don't worship the very ground you walk on?" You asked seriously
“I’m not upset… It’s just..I’m not used to it, that’s all” she mumbled, her hands still fiddling nervously with one another. Using your wand, you formed the petals into a new flower in her hair. When you formed the petals into another flower and put it in her hair, her eyes widened slightly and she couldn’t help a small noise of wonder leaving her mouth.Normally she was looked up to as perfect and pretty, but she felt the complete opposite with you. She wondered if this is how other people felt when they stood in front of her.You watched her, wondering if she was going to say something. She didn’t know what to say. For the first time in a very long time she was lost for words. After everything that had happened in the past day, how was she supposed to respond? The silence only seemed to worsen the feeling, and the self-consciousness of having the flowers in her hair and the fact she was so tired and had so much makeup on. Glinda hated it. She didn’t like feeling this way and suddenly she hated the fact she had followed you out here. Glinda felt the first few tears fall before she could even stop them. She felt so pathetic at the moment, and the last thing she wanted was for you to see her crying. She attempted to lift the back of her hand to her eyes to stop the tears, but to no avail. The tears started flowing faster and her shoulders started shaking a little. "Hey,what's this about?" You asked, patting her shoulder. The moment your hand touched her shoulder, she only started crying more. She couldn’t do anything to stop herself from crying. Glinda, usually confident, was now breaking down in front of you. She practically shoved herself into your arms, making you hold her. Glinda continued to sob into your shoulder, clutching at the front of your clothes and holding onto you tightly. You lowered her to the ground, using your wand to make a sphere around you. It was like a night sky, dark with glittery stars. You rubbed her back, trying to calm her.Her body shuddered and her breath caught as she tried to calm down. But the moment the night sky appeared around them and her grip loosened, the tears slowed a little. The blonde didn’t say anything as you continued to rub her back, feeling her tears start to subside. The sphere combined with your gentle touch slowly began to calm her down, her eyes still red and puffy as she tried to stop herself from crying.
“I’m sorry…” she mumbled, feeling even more embarrassed now that she’d suddenly sobbed all over you. Even as she started to calm herself down, she didn’t let go of you. It wasn’t until she took a deep breath that she finally lifted her head to look at you, her makeup and face still a mess. You handed her your handkerchief to wipe her face, your handkerchief was surprisingly her exact color of pink. “You carry this around with you?” She mumbled, looking down at it. Glinda suddenly noticed the handkerchief was her favourite shade of light pink.
"Don't start" you shook your head. Glinda took your handkerchief and wiped away the smeared mascara and smudged makeup from crying. Glinda couldn’t help the small snort that left her as you shook your head.
Glinda let you pull her into a standing position. Her eyes were now dry, but Glinda knew her face was most likely swollen from the tears. This was completely embarrassing, but for some reason she couldn’t bring herself to leave or walk away. And she didn't let go of you, which made you confused. You had told her that you hated her but also that you loved her in the same sentence. You ridiculed her yet defended her when someone insulted her. The image of her perfection faded away and you had stayed now seeing the real Glinda. Despite it all you stayed, you saw her flaws and even expressed them to her. What really confused her was the fact that despite everything, you stayed and comforted her after she had completely broken down crying.Glinda was used to people sticking around her because she was pretty and popular, not to mention the amount of money her family had.But here you were in front of her, seeing all her flaws, all the mistakes, her self-obsession and still sitting with her even after she had cried and looked so messy. It dawned on her that you were the only one who told her the truth, you were practically the only real friend she had. It scared Glinda, having to face the fact that the most ‘real’ person in her life was also the same one that had insulted her. And the fact that she had suddenly cried in front of you and felt more comfortable around you than she did around any other ‘friend’ sent a wave of confusing emotions through her. And the very same person who had fallen in love with her.
“…You really fell in love with me?” She blurted out without thinking about it or attempting to hide her feelings. She then suddenly looked up at you with a serious expression.
"Unfortunately" you said with a small hint of a joke
“You don’t have to say it like that,” she pouted.Glinda stared at you for another moment as you jokingly said you ‘unfortunately’ loved her. She then smacked your arm with a huff as you laughed. “Stop laughing. I’m being serious” Glinda scolded with an embarrassed expression. She felt the colour flood into her cheeks again at the fact that you’d admitted that you were in love with her.
"I can't take you seriously" you laughed "you look like an angry pink cupcake"
“I do not-!” She suddenly stopped, realising that technically she did look a bit like a pink cupcake with a frown at the moment with all the makeup and flower decorations. Glinda’s face turned even redder at your comment and with another huff she tried to give you a glare. “Alright, I’ll admit I look ridiculous at the moment-” She mumbled “but how long have you been in love with me?” Glinda quickly tried to change the subject and avoid the fact that she did indeed look like a pink cupcake with a frown. You sighed, not wanting to answer. “Come on… tell me” she urged, leaning forward slightly.
"This is so embarrassing" you took a deep breath "Since the entrance ceremony" you confessed. Glinda stared at you in surprise as you admitted that you’d been in love with her since the very first day of her classes at Shiz. She didn’t say anything for a while, her brain still processing the fact that you’d been in love with her for months before she’d even realised it.
“How have I not noticed it before?” Glinda mumbled, her expression bewildered. She’d never thought of the fact that she might have had someone secretly in love with her.
"Again with the vain and shallow" you said as if it was the answer. "Then we became roommates and I liked you more but I got so mad at you because I couldn't stand to be that close to you"
“That’s the reason you kept insulting me and getting mad at me?” She asked, her voice and expression a little hurt. The moment you said you got mad at her because you couldn’t stand to be so close to her, Glinda felt stung.
"Yeah,I just couldn't stand to be so close to you. So I chose to hate and focus on every negative trait you had" you explained
“So let me get this straight…” her tone was cold as she spoke. “You were secretly in love with me and the only way you could deal with it was by hating me and pointing out my flaws?” The hurt on Glinda’s face suddenly turned into a frown.
"You do actually have some flaws, but yes that's the reason"
“But I’m not the only one with flaws here! You have flaws too!” You smirk
"Go ahead" you wanted to see what she had to say, moving closer.
“You’re bossy” she started off with. “And you get angry easily. You’re rude and you can’t handle your emotions-“ her eyes then narrowed slightly. She was slightly glad that you had encouraged her and that you were now moving closer. She was right, especially about the last part. “You have a huge temper and you’re stubborn. You’re impatient and easily pissed off. And I know you have zero sense of fashion” she huffed as she named each flaw. “And don’t get me started on how you never have any idea how to dress. I can guarantee that you have no fashion sense whatsoever” She huffed again, her eyes still fixed on yours. She was now standing directly in front of you, so close that you could feel her breath on your face. She stood there breathing heavily.
"Feel better?"
“Yes, actually. I do feel better” she said.
"We should head back,it's almost time for class"
“Why can’t we stay here and skip class?” She asked with a slight pout. You fake gasped "Glinda, how could you suggest that?"
“Come on, we’ve missed class before” she tried to make her argument, now giving you a pitiful puppy-eyed expression.
"I have,you haven't there's no we in this"
“You make it sound like I’ve never missed class before” she said in an offended voice, trying to make you think that she hadn’t.
"So what do you wanna do?"
“Actually… I have a couple of ideas of what we could do instead of going to class…”
"I swear if you suggest we go one some sort of date-" she quickly interrupted you
“I wasn’t going to suggest that!” She exclaimed. “I was going to suggest we go to the town instead of going to class. I can’t remember the last time I went to the town anyway and besides I’d rather do that then sit in a boring class for the next three hours”
"Fine, but if we get caught I'm blaming you" you joked
“Okay, deal. I’ll take the blame” she gave a small grin as she spoke, knowing that they’d likely get scolded for skipping class but not really caring.
“Let’s get going then” she said, holding back the urge to grab your arm and pull you along towards the town. Glinda walked with a slight skip to her step, feeling excited about the fact that they were skipping class. You made it to town, which was full of people walking around in and out of shops. Hanging out at cafes and restaurants,no one batted an eye at you. She was one of the most popular and recognizable people at Shiz, yet no one even looked her way.
"So,what should we do first?"
“Let’s go get something to eat” she said, her eyes fixating on a nice-looking little cafe off to the side of the street where they were walking.
"Sure,so do you have a plan for this date?"
“It’s not a date” she huffed as they started walking towards the cafe. Glinda rolled her eyes yet again as you jokingly asked if she had planned out a ‘date’.
"It's practically a date," you said, prompting her to finish her sentence.
“Well…” she looked at you once again and took a step closer, lowering her voice slightly. “Since a certain someone insists on calling it a date..”
“How do you feel about getting some lunch at this cafe and then… going somewhere private?” She suddenly said in a low tone, keeping her eyes fixed on yours and her voice now a whisper as she spoke.
"And what exactly will we do there?" You leaned closer
“I have a lot of things in mind” she answered, her voice now almost a whisper as her smirk grew even wider.
"Really? Do tell"
“I could tell you” she said, her tone now in a teasing manner, “or I could show you.” She suddenly moved her face closer to yours, looking up at you almost challengingly as if to say do you really want to know what’s on my mind? A light pink colour appeared on Glinda’s cheeks as she spoke, suddenly feeling quite flustered but trying to mask it. You smirked at how she blushed while trying to be confident. “Why’re you smirking like that?” She asked with a mixture of an indignant and playful tone.Glinda felt the heat on her cheeks increase at your smirk on your face at her flustered expression.
"You're just too cute"
“I am not cute“ she protested adamantly, her cheeks still a light pink colour as a pout appeared on her lips. Glinda suddenly decided to regain some of her confident composure as she quickly composed herself. You sat down at the cafe, both with drinks in front of you. Hers of course was pink. As you and Glinda sat in the cafe with drinks set in front of you both, Glinda took a sip of her drink through the straw. You watched her, taking a sip of your own drink. “See something you like?” She joked, taking another sip as she kept eye contact with you. You rolled your eyes at her. She felt a sense of satisfaction, realising that she was now giving you a taste of your own medicine after you’d smirked and teased her the whole morning.
"Do you always have to be so beautiful?" You whispered
“I could ask you the same thing” she whispered back, her facial expression now slightly flustered once again.
"Now you're just lying" you scoffed
“You really don’t get it yet, do you?” She asked with a slight smirk. “You’re just as beautiful to me as I am to you. It doesn’t matter that other people constantly give me compliments and not you” she said, her voice quiet but her tone firm, “to me, you are just… utterly gorgeous” You froze up not knowing what to say back. “Cat got your tongue?” She teased, leaning even closer and keeping eye contact with you.Glinda smirked seeing your reaction, noticing how you were now frozen and speechless after she had spoken her true thoughts. Her heart skipped a beat seeing how flustered you were suddenly, as she was not used to you being the flustered one.
"More like a pink witch" you chuckled
“Pink witch is slightly more accurate than calling me a cat, yes” She joked, leaning back on her seat and smiling at you as she took another sip of her pink drink. You finished up and walked around the town, dipping in and out of stores. There was a dress shot that she had dragged you into since she saw a sparkly pink dress. She had already dragged you into a jewellery store (”Which of these necklaces do you prefer?”) and even a flower shop (”Which of these would look best in my hair?”) amongst a few other shops. She immediately went to try on the dress, letting you take a minute to look around at the dresses. You stopped in your tracks at the sight of a white sparkly dress, tight and flowing sparkling from every angle like a disco ball. You hadn't even noticed Glinda behind you. She eventually appeared behind you, standing there in the dress and watching your expression, unsure of what had caught your attention.
“What’re you looking at?” She asked as she stood there silently behind you for a few moments. She walked over to the dress and picked it up, holding it up against herself to get an idea of how it’d look on her. Glinda then let out a small scoff. “White is not my colour” she said with a smile, knowing how easily the dress would get dirty.
"I know" you chuckled
She turned to face you, suddenly holding the dress against you instead.
“Try it on,” she insisted with a smirk. “I want to see if it’ll look good on you” She pushed you into the changing room before you could stop her. You changed and walked out to show her the dress. Glinda waited outside the changing room, unable to hide the amused look on her face as she pushed you into the changing room. Her gaze ran over your figure in the dress, noticing how the fabric looked against you and how the dress perfectly hugged your figure. “You look stunning” she said without looking away from you, her thoughts now consumed by the sight of you in your current state. “We have to get this for you to wear to prom” she said in a firm tone, suddenly looking you directly in the eyes.
"I don't know,I don't think I'll go" you confessed
“What? Why wouldn’t you go to prom?” She asked, seeming almost baffled by your confession. “It’s one of the most important events of the year!”
"Yeah, the event of the year and I show up without a date" you said quietly
“So you don’t want to go because you don’t have a date?” She asked, her tone now slightly softer than it had been before. Glinda now suddenly understood why you were hesitant to attend prom, the fact that you didn’t have a date to go to the event with. “I guess that does make sense…” she admitted quietly, her mind currently trying to come up with a solution.
"The biggest event of the school year and I show up without a date" you reiterated. After a few moments of silence, Glinda suddenly spoke up with a suggestion.
“Why don’t I be your date?” She blurted out.
"You wanna go with me?"
“Of course I do,” she responded without hesitation. “We are friends…” Glinda then blushed slightly as she realised how the next part of her sentence was about to sound. “… and I would like to go with you” she finished.
"So,is this official now? You know,us?"
“Well… I suppose it is now” she responded, a smile still present on her face as she looked into your eyes. “If that’s alright with you?”
"If that means I can kiss you now?" You asked
“Yes… you can kiss me now” she replied quietly, the smile on her lips growing slightly as she felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. You leaned in and kissed her, your hand gently resting your hand on her waist.A feeling of warmth spread through Glinda’s body as you gently leaned in and kissed her, your hand resting on her waist. She allowed her eyes to shut as the two of you kissed, feeling your lips on hers and the sensation of your hand on her lower waist.Glinda placed her own hand gently on your arm, almost instinctively as she deepened the kiss. You pulled away  “Wow…” she whispered breathlessly, her grip on your arm tightening a little as she didn’t want to pull away from you entirely.
"Save some for later" you chuckled "and for we're not in public"
“You’re right… I got a little carried away there” she responded, her hand still resting on your arm.Glinda suddenly realised that yes, the two of you were actually in a changing room in the middle of a public shopping area and therefore shouldn’t do anything that would cause a potential scene. She laughed lightly, amused by your words. "Let's get the dresses and head back" You made your way back to your dorm As soon as you arrived she threw herself down on the bed and kicked off her shoes, letting out a small sigh as she relaxed. Suddenly she thought about everything that happened, that you were now officially girlfriends. The fact that she was now officially your girlfriend was suddenly all that was on her mind.
‘Girlfriends’
Glinda’s heart skipped a beat as she thought about the implications and possibilities that came with now being your girlfriend. She couldn’t help but smile to herself as she thought about the fact that you were no longer just her roommate, but were also her girlfriend now.
She felt a sudden rush of adrenaline and confidence as she moved to sit down next to you,on your bed. As she sat next to you, she looked at you as if she was silently contemplating something, waiting for a small moment before suddenly closing the space between the two of you and kissing you passionately. She quickly pushed you down onto your back, all without letting go.Glinda was now laying on top of you on the bed, her lips still firmly attached to yours as she continued to kiss you. Her body pressed closely against yours as she held you down against the bed. You wrapped your arms around her waist, pulling her down and closer to your body.Glinda broke the kiss for a moment, catching her breath as she looked down at you between ragged gasps. You had one arm around her.
"We should do that again" you whispered Before you could respond, Glinda leaned down to kiss you once more, her lips finding yours and kissing you passionately. Glinda’s body was now pressed fully against yours, a feeling of heat and desire filling her body as she lay on the bed with you.Slowly, she broke the kiss, pulling away as she looked down at you, both of your breaths ragged.
“I could get used to this”
“Me too”

Note
can you write an elphaba x reader where elphaba is oblivious to the crush she has on reader until glinda points it out to her
my first little blurb for elphie!!!! this is just pure pining and the wlw experience. enjoy and please let me know what you think! 🤍
Elphaba didn’t settle into Shiz University easily.
The mocks, the looks, the glinda fan group. It was all too much for her. Until she met you. While others would mock her differences, you celebrated them.
You met her in the library and immediately felt drawn to her. Like some sort of invisible string with tying you together. You also noticed the awful amount of stares and mockery this poor girl was getting. So you made it your job to make her as comfortable as possible. You planted yourself down right next to her, taking your books out as if nothing had happened.
Elphaba looked up from her books, her fingers pushing up the glasses that had fallen down the bridge of her nose. She was about to open her mouth when she looked straight into your eyes.
You grinned, your smiling almost blinding.
“I’m Y/N,” You said opening up your history book.
Elphaba still didn’t know what to say.
“I’m actually in your history class, but we’ve never spoken until now. Well, I mean. I’m only speaking, you get what I mean,” You blabbered, getting your gel pens out of your bag. You had planned to study as you were really falling behind in history already, but this girl. This beautiful, green girl has caught your interest.
“Uh..” Elphaba started, her eyes going to her books.
“Is it ok if I sit with you? You’re the smartest in the class,” You asked, eyes hopeful. Elphaba sighed, but eventually nodded.
And soon, those library meetings became regular. Elphaba didn’t really speak, but she listened. And you felt heard.
“I brought my favourite,” You hummed dropping your famous cookies in front of Elphaba. She smiled and turned around squeezing your arm. You blushed lightly at the touch.
“Glinda will be so jealous,”
At this point, Glinda had seen what you had seen the first time Elphaba arrived. She saw how powerful and kind this girl truly was, and somehow the three of you became friends.
“Well, she doesn’t study with us, so no cookies for her,” You stated, matter of factly. You took a seat on the edge of the table, beside Elphaba. For some reason, Elphaba couldn’t keep her eyes trained on your face. Her eyes wandered down your bare legs, and if she wasn’t so green you’d be able to see the pink forming on her cheeks.
She had never felt so flustered before. She didn’t know what this feeling was. Why was her heart racing, why was her mouth dry?
That night, she sat beside Glinda watching her take off her make up at her vanity.
“What does it mean if your heart races around someone?” Elphaba asked.
Glinda giggled, “I’ve been waiting for this!” She exclaimed, almost jumping into Elphaba’s arms.
“You like Y/N!”
Elphaba gasped, “I do not. That’s ridiculous. We’re just friends,” She insisted.
Glinda raised an eyebrow, “You like her. You like her. You like her!”
She opened her mouth to deny, but she couldn’t. Because it was true.
She liked Y/N.

Being Galinda’s girlfriend headcannons:
Pairing: Galinda Upland x f!reader.
Trigger warnings: none.
Tumblr media
You’re Her Biggest Supporter: Galinda (or Glinda, depending on how you like to spell it) is a force of nature, and she’s constantly seeking validation and admiration from others. But when you're together, you're the one person who she can truly lean on for reassurance. You offer her genuine support without all the sparkle and glam that she’s used to from others, which means more to her than she'd admit.
Endless Sparkle, with a Twist: Galinda loves her glitz and glam, but when she's with you, she’s willing to leave the ballgowns behind for cozy nights in—well, at least as cozy as she can get. She insists on giving you "the full Glinda treatment" with spa days, facials, and candlelit baths (probably scented with something extravagant like lavender-sweet vanilla). She’s always the one to make you feel like you're royalty, even if it’s just a lazy afternoon.
Teasing and Playful Banter: There’s a lot of light-hearted teasing in your relationship. She’ll probably poke fun at you for being "so serious" or "not understanding the importance of a good hair flip," but it’s all in good fun. You love to tease her back, calling out her overly dramatic tendencies, which she pretends to be offended by—until she bursts into giggles.
She Keeps You on Your Toes: Galinda’s known for her love of making everything a little more dramatic than it needs to be. If you're in a public situation where there's a little bit of tension, she'll probably look at you with an exaggerated "save me" expression, which is both hilarious and endearing. You’re her safe person, and she knows you’ll always keep her grounded.
You’re the Yin to Her Yang: While Galinda can be a bit self-centered and bubbly, you balance her out. You might be more introverted, calm, or serious, and that contrast creates a dynamic where you complement each other perfectly. You challenge her to think deeper and act with more humility, while she teaches you to lighten up and take life with a pinch of glitter.
The Best Date Nights: Your dates could be a mix of extravagant affairs and the simplest moments. You might attend a big gala, or you might have a quiet evening where she reads to you from one of her fashion magazines while you doze off in her arms. She loves to spoil you, but she also treasures the moments where it’s just the two of you, without all the flashing lights of the world.
She’s Protective in Her Own Way: Galinda may not always show it, but she gets fiercely protective of you. If someone is rude to you or you’re facing a challenge, she’s the first one ready to defend you with a mix of fiery charm and persuasive words. While she doesn’t have the same boldness as Elphaba, Galinda will use her wit, charm, and status to make sure you're treated well.
She Has a Soft Side: Deep down, Galinda has a heart of gold. She may act superficial at times, but she’s incredibly thoughtful and has an emotional side that only comes out when she’s with you. She might surprise you with little gifts, handwritten notes, or her favorite flower because she knows it’ll make you smile. She also has a bit of a “soft and vulnerable” side that she only lets you see.
Sharing in Her Growth: As much as Galinda is known for her glamorous persona, she’s also a character with depth. Throughout the relationship, you get to see her evolve from someone obsessed with popularity to someone who’s genuinely concerned about justice and what’s right. You’re there to witness her growth, whether it's her finding her own voice or standing up for what she believes in.
You Have Her Heart: Galinda is a romantic at heart, and though she often expresses it in dramatic ways, you know she’s incredibly devoted to you. When she says she loves you, it's not just the words; it’s the look in her eyes, the soft touches, and the way she always wants to make sure you feel adored. It’s clear you’re her one true love, and she’s in it for the long haul.
