I've just finished Gakkou Gurashi and Gakkou Gurashi Otayori manga and u can't stop crying

I thought assassination classroom was my absolute favorite but now I'm having an internal duel in my head to see which one ends up on top

Highly recommend watching the anime and then reading the manga and epilouge without any prior knowledge

Why I love the end of School Live! so much

First of all any of the main four dying would have emotionaly devastated me and second of all when I first got into the serie, my mental health wasn't really great and it taught me that relationships can be hard and messy but reaching out to people is worth it and that yes, sometimes life is weird and unfair and hard but good things are here too and sometimes trying your best in enough and you survive :>

One thing I really love is when a series doesn't just end at the conclusion of its central conflict, but rather lets you see the future that comes from its aftermath. Gurren Lagann, Kanata no Astra, and Gakkou Gurashi (via the Otayori manga) all have those great endings where you get to see all the cast years after the events of the series and the effects their actions have had on the world as a whole. It adds a whole extra sense of finality to it all and makes their endings feel all the more poignant to me personally.

Still fucks me up that of all the Gakkou Gurashi cast, Miki ends up being the one who's least able to deal with the trauma she endured despite having so often been the most pragmatic and level-headed member of the group during the events of the manga... At least Yuki managed to turn her split personality into her drinking buddy though-

Other things - Manhwa/Manga update - Gakkou Gurashi! Otayori; so sad, it's over, but so glad it was here. Gods what a blessing. White Blood; read through and finished and... AHHHHHHHHHHHH that's all i can say, honestly. Really loved it, loved how it ended. It really feels good to get back in the swing of it. Need to do more, ofc, but there’s time. IBS was very unkind, once again today. It was a little bit better than yesterday, buuuut ya know.. At least  got some things done.
