One thing I genuinely think the fandom forgets or underestimates is just how weird Neil is. Like we paint him to be this carismatic, flashy, cocky bad boy, but in reality he's stingy, skittish, balks at anything more personal then his thoughts on Exy and Cannot for the life of him socialize. Like in the Raven King, right after Seth dies, he straight up goes:

"Neil had to patch things up with [Allison] somehow, but he didn't know where to start. He'd never been good at winning people over. Someone like Allison wasn't likely to be his first success. "

Neil's spent his life living on the outskirts of "average" life. Ergo, he's cagey and flighty and so far removed from normal that even among the Foxes he'll always be a little unpredictable and odd. And you know what, good for him; we all deserve an antisocial introverted asshole to raly behind.

Oh they would tweak out bad!! It expected some resistance and perhaps disgust from you (understandable, not every human enjoys worms) but to have you pass out when they're trying to do a grand romantic gesture is throwing a massive wrench into their plans!!!

Thankfully they have Marcus the Doctor™ absorbed so it somewhat knows what to do when you start showing symptoms of a panic attack, though I highly doubt it'd be very effective?

Either way, if they did manage to calm you down they know they'd have to reel it in if they don't want you freaking out again.

I kind of overlooked this for a very long time admittedly, as I assume a lot of people did because I rarely appear to see this discussed in depth minus one, but like. I know this is an Andrew Garfield quote, but the actual prospect of David being fifteen feet in the closet makes so much sense. He is an incredibly notable figure in the universe of DRDT, his whole character is basically built upon that fact. Something else that's pretty obvious is that David is someone who cares a lot about how he's perceived by others. He works hard to make himself as palatable and uncontroversial as possible to other people. It's no wonder that he would hide and/or sugarcoat his attraction to men when describing his sexuality to the public, or even begin repressing it himself. And not only that, but it makes the inappropriate way he responded to Nico being forcefully outed make so much more sense

Psychopomp Oc "Grit Filters" or just "Grits" a creature that lives under the Sewage treatment plant that is just a Kaomoji esque white ball with ears connected to root like veiny tissue.

Grit Filters are scavengers that build bodies out of waste, meat and usually metal scrap. The root appendages grow inside of lumps of waste and meat to create a nervous system and muscular structure that allows them to move it like a real body.

Grits are notoriously hated by Nuggets for their habit of stealing milk and absorbing smaller nuggets into their mass. They are often ambushed by nuggets in groups where their body will be eaten alive, causing the grit to have to start construction of their form all over.
