Happy STS! What are the tsp crew's favorite games?

Well, I already know Lexi and Maddie play Mario Kart. Maddie's more of the gamer, Lexi wanted to do stuff Maddie liked, turns out she likes it too. Maddie's better, though.

I also think Lexi would like RPGs and classic board games.

I feel like Ash is a Minecraft person. Toggles between survival and creative mode.

Gwen would like RPGs and just fantasy related games. Final Fantasy maybe? I think she needs to get into D&D.

Noelle would like games that are easy and straightforward to learn but hard to get good at. Card games, Tetris, match-3 games. I feel like Tetris is a fitting option.

Rose is the kind of person who I feel secretly likes gaming. I feel like Minecraft again (creative mode), Animal Crossing, or even GTA would be favorite ones. Maybe even the Sims.

Kelsey would play games with her younger cousins. Like Roblox or something. She'd also have a lot of mobile games I think that she plays if she's bored with nothing else to do.

I do have Robbie play an Alii game in one chapter but it's pending what it actually is because I have no ideas! I think Robbie would like single-player games but like other people are looking over his shoulder watching him. I think he'd also like Animal Crossing and he does reference Minecraft. Definitely a survival mode person, not peaceful.

I already canonically have Akash like watching sports, so I feel like sports games for sure. I'm so sad the Wii was a bit before their time but my younger cousins have a Wii and they're about his age so Wii Sports champion Akash?

It's actively hilarious to think about Jedi and Carmen gaming. Carmen would get hooked on Match-3 games. The sillier the theme, the better. Jedi would probably like a game where you can level up a character or maybe save the world.

Outside of these guys, I canonically have George be into gaming. He ended up liking Mario Kart, but I need to think up Alii games for him. Unfortunately the gaming part is where I got stuck in the last round of revisions!

I also have Niri be super into card games. Just loves card games. Read Scarne's Encyclopedia of Card Games in eighth grade instead of paying attention to algebra loves card games. He teaches Gabriel how to play Cribbage in Part Two and it's hilarious.

oop. that title is a date. i don't hold any strong opinions towards that, but also won't try to say anything that would be appropriate just cause it's a certain date. whatever. idk what to say. ok um moving on.

walking home thoughts:

my hair is definitely hairing the way i want it to. i like the length more than a longer or shorter length, but it is also what is considered the awkward length. i only really hate it when it hasn't been washed in a bit, which is often, but today i was happy with it.

what is up with mongo pushing? like just use your front foot. why are you making yourself do more work and look goofy (but not in the right way) doing so?

while i say that i am also holding my fist firmly in the air, upset and regretful that i left my skateboard at home

i really love the way the algae over the pond looks and it definitely makes me feel really excited and warm inside. idk why.

also i hate the walk home. i wish i had my skateboard because why does it take so long. i used to walk so fast like 4 years ago and i've just slowed down for some reason since 3 years ago. wtf.

everyone needs a freakin dpiel in their life. i thought this a couple days ago, but thought about it again today on my walk home. he has such good music taste and makes me listen to artists i wouldn't have thought of on my own and would be like "eh" before, but since he played it in front of me i was like "oh, i'm a dumbass. i have been missing out on some fantastic music" this includes childish gambino, tame impala, and steve lacey, but there are so many songs that he plays that i also love from varying different artists. i also silently add these songs to my library, but i think they're really cool. shoutout to dpiel. striptease, kilby girl, dang!, hey lover, and les were all songs from one drive that i downloaded i believe. keep doing ur thing, man, love to see it.

related, but not from my walking home thoughts, from my now thoughts, i am currently loving music i hear from gabriel like a lot, and starting to like music from miles and obviously dpiel. i've been heavily into arctic monkeys, glass animals, childish gambino, some songs from kevin abstract (i need to explore that avenue further), some from megan thee stallion honestly, some steve lacey, really into tory lanez (controversial cuz he shot megan thee stallion in the foot and wouldn't admit it, but okay.....i really like his music even if he steals it without credit......but i hate who he is as a person), some future, heavy on the weeknd, the whole metro boomin spiderman album, machine gun kelly, some cage the elephant, then some various gabriel songs as i will call them. super loving music rn.

i finally put my string lights up. still haven't gone to the store for a rug or finished my shelf journey. we got wood tho so yeehaw. gotta figure out the machinery and how tf to get started. i really want to make my bed space more comfy and inviting. especially when i am here way too often, i want to make it super duper comfy. but like not too comfy to where i never leave, but less springy as it is right now. i want to put my mattress topper back on, but my fitted sheets keep coming off of it and make me want to kill something every time they pop off a corner. also it is a little wrong, it sinks in a bit and feels kind of weird. my mom spent money on it so i should use it tho. ugh.

I want to go back to playing the sims. i keep seeing really cool ideas on youtube, i really want to be more creative, so i think i'll go and try some that i've had saved for some time. i kept losing at wii sports tennis for some reason emily and akira are really good :| makin me wanna throw the controller into the tv (i didn't, it's not my controller or tv, and i would never do that if it was pff..).

my throat hurts and i could be getting sick >:( i hate getting sick, especially the sore throat kind. i am going to gargle that cpc mouthwash before that shit decides to go down my entire throat and up my sinuses. fuck you u stupid shit. i'm not staying sick this time, bitch.

anyway, lemme worsen my oncoming headache by playing the sims instead of winding down for bed.

However months ago that brad user on letterboxd said some not good stuff about him and some other girls came forward about him not being a great guy. I'd show some evidence but I don't have it. Author's Note: Makes me want to have a game night, but I play by myself on consoles 😂

There’s one particular word that can be used to describe trying to plan and then host “Game Night” involving the Talon Members and (Y/N), which is haywire. Long story short, it just ends up taking a while trying to plan and then host a game night. First task to complete is figuring out who plans on showing up definitely, as there’s been some times in the past where some guests showed up unannounced, or you have individuals like Gabriel who state that they don’t plan on showing up but then show up anyways. Next is figuring out the actual date to host the game night considering how hectic everyone’s schedule can be. Thirdly, picking out games that would suit or be enjoyable with the majority of those attending can be quite difficult. Lastly, but probably considered the least hassle of planning game night: planning and bringing snacks for everyone. Sometimes everyone brings some things to share, but most of the time the snacks are left up to (Y/N). 

Depending on the amount of people attending the event would either be hosted within the Council meeting room or just the Canteen. Most of the time Moira and (Y/N) are going to be the first ones to arrive considering they’ve got to transport snacks, and then Gabriel makes his appearance last. The first fifteen minutes is usually spent getting things set out, chatting with each other and catching up on what’s exactly been going on. Once everyone has grabbed some snacks and made it to their seat it’s time to then go over the games that are provided or have been brought in. One section you’ve got the card games: Poker, Uno, Cards Against Humanity, etc. Next section consists of board games: Scrabble, The Game of Life, Chess, etc. There’s some physical games such as Twister, which can become a bit “suggestive” in certain terms. Then there’s Olivia with her video games, most of them being horror VR games as she enjoys watching people get scared. 

Believe it or not, there have been some games that have been banned from the game night activities. Monopoly? BANNED. Mario Kart? BANNED. Any game that requires more than like five brain cells, unless you happen to be Moira, Siebren, or Akande? BANNED. Gabriel has attempted to ban any other games besides Call of Duty or those boring golf or fishing games. So, Gabriel? ALSO BANNED. There were just too many arguments, and almost physical altercations between the members, mainly (Y/N) and Gabriel, that they had to be put in opposite corners for timeouts. Then it really only became more intense if there was any type of alcohol substance or any other stuff to make them intoxicated. Wii Sports Boxing? More like Talon Council Boxing. Either way, it’s become one of those situations that games have to be discussed and reviewed by all members and (Y/N) before being allowed at game night. 

While it doesn’t happen often, there are times where the games are suggestive, or the members make it suggestive. It doesn’t ever actually get far, more just to see who can become the most flustered so everyone can tease whoever at the next game night. There’s been some games like Spin The Bottle, Strip Poker, or even just something like Never Have I Ever that usually lead up to the moments. It becomes those types of “What Happened In Vegas Stays In Vegas” types of scenarios. Moira does get a bit possessive with (Y/N) during these types of games seeing that they’re married, but have talked about adding a bit more spice to their sex life. Usually Siebren isn’t one to participate in those types of games and would rather sit there trying to solve the latest crossword puzzle from the newspapers. 

In the end, “Game Night” allows the members of Talon, now along with (Y/N), to just be casual civilians or such for a short amount of time before they have to go back to doing whatever Talon happens to have planned next. There is a competition between them all as to who has one the most amount of games, and that list goes as followed: 

Olivia who has mostly cheated just to cause drama because she enjoys the reactions it gets out of others.

(Y/N) seeing that they haven’t dedicated most of their life to something as the other Talon members have, and therefore has the extra time to better their gaming skills. 

Gabriel, honestly surprising to everyone, but gaming happens to be one of the things that he can stay in his apartment and stay away from everyone and do, especially when he gets pissed off at everyone and everything. 

Amelie, more of a casual gamer, but doesn’t play much. She’s really only gained some skills at gaming as Olivia forced her to play whenever Moira wouldn’t participate, which was practically every time. 

Moira, becoming more of just a super relaxed casual gamer, usually focusing on mobile games where she doesn’t have to actually spend much time to play it, but is more of a watcher.

Akande, possibly played some whenever he was younger, picking it up as a small hobby besides karate.

Siebren probably hasn’t picked up any game besides what’s considered to be “super old people” games like marbles, mancala, chess, checkers, etc. Personally, I could see him being more into retro games such as Galaga, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, etc. He'd probably get Akande and Gabriel into them as well.

Ky bought Sin a wii because it’s “One of them videogames the kids like but it’s also keeping you fit so it’s good for you!”. He hasn’t played any sport except Golf, thought he plays that one exceptionally well because he’s a boring rich dude

Sol and Leo both “Play” the boxing game. Play in this context meaning that they select a Ky Mii for the second player and beat the shit out of it as stress relief

The Jellyfish pirates have a Wii Bowling night every thursday morning, most of which are won by Johnny. May personally prefers Wii Sport Resort Jet-Ski instead

The assassins used to have a Wii in the common room, but now nobody gets to play it because Eddie ate both of their wiimotes when he lost at table tennis for the 4th time in a row.

Potemkin is unfortunately unable to play wii sports without instantly destroying the TV, however he finds much enjoyment in watching Gabriel break his record in the frisbee game. 

Whenever Answer opposes one of Chipps newest laws, he is forced to challenge him to the Swordplay game in Wii Sports Resort. If he loses, the law goes through. If he wins, Chipp complains about how his wii motion plus isn’t working right and the law goes through anyways

Axl plays the archery game and flexes about the fact that he managed to hit one of the secret targets once. 

Kliff and the rest of the holy order regularly play the canoeing minigame together, as a teamwork excersize. They’re currently on their 7th TV.

Faust plays wii sports resort basketball because  he was disqualified from real basketball for being too tall

Baiken beat the swordfighting gauntlet minigame perfectly on the first try. The wiimote wasn’t even connected.

Anji plays the air sports exploration minigame because he likes to air sports exploration things

Dizzy doesn’t care much for it, but Undyne and Necro play boxing against each other whenever Dizzy gets too close to any TV in the kiske manor.

Zappa is completly unbeatable in the tennis minigame, which is very easy when your entire existence is waggling due to ghost posession.

Bedman has collected every single Wii Sports Resort stamp to prove that he’s a real gamer.
