Hdhhdhdhsvvrbs I been seeing sm G’raha x WoL shit and I just finished post Stormblood… anyways here r sum Elysia x G’raha HCs just based off the Crystal Tower quests

Singing together!!! Elysia shyly admitting she’s not a trained singer and won’t sound good next to G’raha but who cares! Sing with the pretty cat boy!

Elysia is kinda flirty and teases him a lot during the Crystal Tower quests. She’s just built like that and she kinda knows he has a thing for her. Bc who doesn’t honestly.

G’raha hopelessly in love with a girl he’s known for like two months and then spends some hundred years yearning for her

Cid is kinda worried that G’raha will just be another boy Elysia leaves heartbroken but Rammbroes is like “Wait no let her cook they could be cute together”

G’raha being kinda exited that she’s a White Mage! They’re pretty rare in lore and even then only Padjals are ever White Mages. So he’s really curious abt all that.

Elysia gives him a hug before he seals himself. Maybe a little “Find me in the future” ala Sophie and Howl Ghibli style.

Maybe she even kinda jokingly offers to kiss him when he wakes up? G’raha waiting in the tower for 100 years for his first kiss lmao

Elysia visits the Crystal Tower from time to time, just offering a couple words to G’raha before going off to kill another primal. She probably doesn’t have feelings for him at that point but he was still her friend and she hopes he’s sleeping so he isn’t too lonely in there.

Also, at the end of Stormblood when Exarch G’raha talks to us, I like to think he notices just how drained Elysia looks after doing hero shit for a while and he feels really bad asking for her help again. Light’s gone and she’s clearly spiralling, maybe she’s lost a bunch of weight after Stormblood and he’s just kinda horrified at how much she’s changed in such a short amount of time :(

#3: AU Alternate Timeline

((Hope y’all don’t mind, but instead of an alternate universe, I’ll be writing this from the 8th Umbral Calamity Timeline, as I typically am not able to stick with AUs at all, and this is something I’ve been wanting to write for a while anyways. Hope you enjoy!!))

2nd Sun of the 4th Astral Moon, Year 196 of the 8th Umbral Era

Today, Biggs and I went to the ruins of Ishgard, and as soon as we reached what remained of Fortemps Manor, two rival forces had begun to attack the city, so we had to act cautiously, but quickly.

It wasn’t long before I found what I was initially searching for: Heavensward, Count Edmont de Fortemps’ memoirs of the end of the Dragonsong War, but I also had found a selection of other documents that looked promising. I gathered all of the materials and took it back to the Ironworks’ encampment.

Upon further study, I discovered something that I had not expected, but ‘tis a welcome find nonetheless. I now have a first hand account of the demise of one of the Warriors of Light, my childhood friend, Hali Aloke.

It was long known that Hali had not been killed along with her fellow Scions and Warriors of Light, and though it was proven that she had died around the same time period as the others, the details of her death were not clear.

What was found in Count Edmont’s personal effects was a short missive from the frontline in Ghimlyt, which details the retreat of the alliance forces after the Empire released Black Rose onto the field of battle. Edmont’s son Count Artoirel was able to escape with the majority of the Ishgardian knights, but the Lord Commander, Ser Aymeric de Borel, remained behind to allow his people to retreat. However, once Hali had learned that Ser Aymeric was still in danger, it is said that no one was able to stop her from running after the Lord Commander, knowing that it was too late, and not only his death but hers as well, was all but assured.

After the battle, once the gas had dissipated enough to collect the dead, Hali’s body had been found lying next to Ser Aymeric, her hand resting on top of his.

Though I am happy in knowing what happened to my friend at long last, I am filled with sorrow at how she had passed. To run headlong straight into danger in order to save another with no thought to her own wellbeing, that is just who Hali was. That is no surprise to me. However… I still cannot help but wonder if there was more to it than that.

Just what did Ser Aymeric mean to you, Hali? What was in your heart and mind in those last moments?

Perhaps one day I can ask you that in person. Or perhaps I may never know the truth. But I know that I will find you again. You will live again, I promise you that.

I heard a simple song, it turned to a full blown orchestra later on. Now the heaven sings.

When G’raha first came to my life I was quite confused by what was happening, why was this disembodied voice talking to me and where was the stuff I needed to deliver. Then I met him and I found him adorable, a smart radiant boy who wanted an adventure and action. I slowly started to care for him and fall for him.

But then he chose to stay behind and I felt a tug in my heart, I didn’t know when I was going to see him again, if ever. That made me sad but I had to go on, move forward.

Then I met him again, with the Crystal Tower. He hid himself from me, even when I did recognise him. Talking to me about his dreams and wishes, talking about me, trying to keep his identity secret.. I still knew it was him.

I’m happy to have him back and I’m waiting for a chance to take him on an adventure, a proper one. I promised him that and I will keep that promise even if it’s the last thing I do.

Stay radiant, my sunshine.
