I’m learning that some of you in the g/t community don’t know about Gigantic Girl/Kyodai Shoujo, a Hatsune Miku song by 40mP.

It’s a song about a girl who wants to grow to a gigantic size !! :)) the music video features Miku growing, as well as fighting godzilla.

It was released in 2009, and I believe it hit the Vocaloid Hall of Fame as well. Its a cute little song and I’m a little surprised its not more popular!

tiny!rui

~ definitely the craftiest tiny you'll ever meet. even if the tools and bolts and screws are bigger than his body, he's still making inventions to help him get around

~ he likes being tiny because it helps him hide a lot more. if he ever feels bad or made fun of, you won't see him for days. he's hiding in a little hole he made for himself

~ and since im mizurui besties agenda, imagine rui hiding himself in mizuki's hands when they were in middle school on the rooftop. it still happens sometimes to this day

~ being tiny also helps him with his performances! it's a lot easier to fly away on a drone away from security, plus he amazes much more as a child

~ part of him wants to annoy all of his friends by constantly jumping and climbing on them. the other part will feel bad about bothering them and settles for sitting in their pockets/on their shoulders

~ i genuinely think he'd lose it if he could climb on top of a platypus. he'd be SOOOOO happy just clambering around on it

~ also the craftiest giant you'll ever meet. his hands might be bigger than a house but he'll still find ways to fiddle with machines that are way smaller than him

~ he doesn't like being a giant sometimes because he can't really hide when people make fun of him. he has some far off clearing that only the closest people to him know about

~ more mizurui besties where rui would be the one to hold mizuki in his palms and help shield them both from the treatment of their peers

~ obviously gains way more attention for his performances as a giant though. imagine being security and you walk outside and there's this 50ft something giant doing a performance in the middle of Phoenix Wonderland

~ part of him wants to constantly dote on his friends, teasing them by scooping them up in his palms. the other part so badly doesn't want to scare them, and he's way more cautious on these days when handling them

~ he would gently hold as many platypi as possible. where did he get them? who knows. they are now all with him

despite other’s opinions on him, as a person who reads the jp stories and is generally caught up with lore— rui would be extremely gentle.

my reason to believe is is within his first event focus story— where he accidentally injures tsukasa with one of his crazy ideas. he immediately shutd down; doubting himself as he didn’t want to hurt him.

rui’s main plot-point to me is his arrogance when is comes to his machines. being a prodigy, he views his machines as brilliant— and doesn’t seem to think things will go wrong, or people will get hurt.

this goes hand in hand with my g/t hcs, where i view him as a gentle, yet slightly careless giant. he would treat tinies/humans as if they were glass— but his stupid ideas would make him almost a scary giant.

in his recent event focus in jp, he thanks tsukasa for everything he’s done for him— and that he wouldn’t have been able to change and be a friendlier person— a more approachable one.

this would be an amazing story for a giant— like it totally would be. while his nature stays intact, rui would grow to be a more trusting person, similar in the stories. rui kamishiro is a sweetie, and nobody talks about it enough!

personally— i think he’d be rather teasing of a giant; yet not stupid. he’s brilliant, and could tell, if someone is getting uncomfortable, immediately stopping.

now onto the sillier hcs..

he would definitely pull the “little one” on everyone, especially tsukasa.

he would be hella affectionate. like especially with an s/o. expect him to be very adoring.

he is so sweet with his kisses, like featherlight gentle. he knows his strength and wants to be careful with it.

i feel like he’d be in the 70-80ft range.

ruikasa borrower au short story! i dont know if i plan to expand on this or not but it was fun to write!

tsukasa trudged through the soft soil as he carefully observed his surroundings, only occasionally poking his head out with a scowl to check for any nearby dangers. a lone borrower fending for himself after getting separated from his family years ago.

he held his needle that attached to his bag through a thread closely, he was just out to grab a few herbs or two from the garden one of the humans maintained. slipping through the small gaps between the wood as he entered the well kept garden, looking up in awe at the beautiful arrangements of flowers. keeping a steady pace as he walked through carefully, although he was a little distracted looking at the flowers.

he remembers which human maintains the garden, the younger one of the three. with odd purple hair with two cyan streaks, tsukasa found it impossible to never not notice him. tsukasa felt his cheeks flush slightly, he had to admit he was a little pretty. the quick glances tsukasa would spare just to look at him while he was sleeping or busy tinkering around , if only he was human then maybe...

tsukasa's thoughts were interrupted when he heard several small footsteps apporaching, his face paled as he slowly looked back to see a spider heading right his way. immediately letting out a high pitch scream that somebody definitely heard as he ran off in a hurry to get away.

through the flowers and past the herbs he was looking for, tsukasa held onto his needle tightly as he cried out, the spider giving chase right behind him. tsukasa didn't even feel the footsteps that approached as he found himself cornered by the giant wooden fence and the spider itself. ready to faint at any moment, tsukasa shakily wielded the tiny blade to defend himself. the spider slowly got closer, tsukasa felt himself on the verge of passing out as he squeaked, not noticing the sudden lack of sunlight where he was. preparing to meet his doom when a sudden gloved hand came down and shooed away the spider, tsukasa stood confused for a second before looking up, dreading what was awaiting him up top.

"hm... seems like you were in some trouble. glad to have helped."

the purple boy chuckled as he kneeled down to take a closer look at tsukasa, looking obviously interested in the much smaller male.

"im rui kamishiro, and who might you be?"
