🔶 During this past month I've been working on HEX BREAK, my personal concept art project inspired by isometric styled games such as Darksiders Genesis, Hades and Ruined King and my eternal love for all the kind of spooky, gothic stuff! 

🔶When I was finished creating the minions, I asked myself “now, who would be responsible of creating these mischievous little incantations?” and the first thing that came into my mind was a tall and slender femenine figure that emanates power and respect - I had Lady Dimitrescu and Piramid Head in mind, both terrifying but in their own way! So I tried to mix both influences.

🔶 Since this is a universe where witches turn their wands as a weapon, she uses it like a reaper! And of course, the ghostly lookin’ hands around her would prevent her from harm. Because this project is meant to be seen from an isometric perspective, I placed the hands behind her to make it easier from a player’s view where her attacks come from.

Jobe stared at you with a raised eyebrow. You’d just showed him a video on your for you page, pleading for him to do it with you. “Come on! Or—“ You pause, drawing back to look at him with a teasing look, “or can you not pick me up, Jobe. Is that it?”

Not even you would ever believe what you implied. Jobe was well above six foot and muscular—he is a football player after all. There was no doubt that if Jobe wanted, he could throw you up on his shoulder without breaking a sweat.

The boy gasps, offense flashing across his face. “I’ll have you know, I could lift you with my pinky finger.”

“Sure you could. So?” You don’t wait for his reply, setting the phone up and gesturing for him to stand a few feet behind you. “A kiss for your efforts at the end, okay?”

Rolling his eyes, knowing he was fully at your mercy and well—how could he say know when he knew it would bring a smile to your face, and he gets a kiss out of it? He promptly stands and does as told.

When the timer pings down, he waits for the lyrics, ‘A boy who’s jacked and kind’ to grip your hips—not enough to hurt you—but enough to lift you up without dropping you. He easily sets you on his shoulder. A squeak escapes his lips as you clutch onto his shoulder and hand.

He had to tear his eyes off your gleaming face. The way your eyes sparkled with laughter and your smile was wider than ever. He was so unbelievably in love with you.

“Flex.” You glance down at him with a lopsided, teasing grin.

“No.”

“Flex, Jobe.” At your groan, he finally gives in, but not without a small, reluctant eyeroll.

When the sound ends, he slowly eases you back onto the ground, his hands still planted firmly on your waist. “My reward?” He reminds gently, tugging you back into his chest.

With a soft laugh, your head turns to the side and tilts up, giving him just enough room to lean down and press his lips to yours.

Is it possible to get ahold of Rollo's battle sprite where he's engulfed in his unique magic? I don't think I've seen anyone share it anywhere.

I looked into it, and I think I can see why that is.

As you can see, the texture on the sprite is actually mostly his upper body, and his expressions. The rest seems to be done with fvx files (where I assume the flames are located), which... I have unfortunately not quite figured out yet. Idk what the devs use at all, but I can't find anything on how to use those files for now. I'll keep trying, because I also think that the stamps are located in those files, but... I promise nothin'

Bf!Florian who . . . is actually quite shy when it comes to PDA. That is not to say he doesn’t do it, he just keeps it subtle. Hand holding is fine, he prefers resting his hand on the low of your back, but he won’t deny you of affection if you want it. If you want a kiss in public—you’re getting it. Though, you know and respect his ways, so you don’t ask for them often.

Bf!Florian who. . . is the most insanely good listener. He loves hearing you talk. In fact, if he could have it his way, it would always be you talking and him listening. He loves to see your face light up talking about something you like. He also is an attentive listener when you are ranting, if you are upset he’s listening without bothering to stray his eyes or ears away. You matter to him, so therefore he will listen to everything you have to say and try to respond the best he can.

Bf!Florian who . . . tends to bottle his emotions. He hates upsetting you, and if he knows he did—he will hold in his feelings until you forgive him. This often leaves him snappy and on edge toward everyone and everything. When it’s you who hurt him, he’ll grow distant. He won’t ignore you, he’ll just pretend nothing happened in hopes it’ll go away. It doesn’t though, and you have to coax it out of him. He hates fighting with you so it takes little convincing for him to finally get out of his little spout of annoyance.

He gets jealous and not in an annoying way, in the way that has a smirk growing on your lips when his fingers dig into your hips, pulling you impossibly closer the second a man looks at you with anything but a platonic look in his eyes. Florian knows you’re beautiful, he knows guys and girls alike will look at you in ways he can’t control—that isn’t to say he has to like it though.

Sometimes, you’ll lean into his side to comfort him and other times you’ll have a smug smirk and play along. Just depends on if he annoyed you that day or not.

then I imported it into photoshop, made the background black so i could see the lines of the cube and put a design onto the cubes UV map in white

i then exported it and put it back into Maya and added a material to my cube

i then chose lambert as a material

then added a file as my material to create my design.

I then Exported then cube as a FVX file and opened the material

I then added two colours i wanted on my cube, i then added them to a lerp and into the material code.

i then put my cube into my game and scaled it up to size.

I then went on to add more code to my cube adding code to make it glow

i first moved one of the colours just to go into the base colour and then made the material and my second colour multiply together twice

first to change the inner materials colour and the second to make it glow

the higher you multiplied it by the stronger the glow would be

At first i put my cube glow intensity very high but then i changed it down to 200.

i think i first d/l blender in like 2017 nd prolly uninstalled it over 10 times. like 2019 it stuck nd id loved it nd grew so much. i wish i updated this with all the unfinished testers nd wip and j general shit i made (unfinished) a long way. no way am i sorting through a TB of horrid naming conventions.
