I ask for souda’s crush List now kindly mucho gracias 🙏🙏🙏🧎
Crush list in order of happening, game and onwards;
Princess Sonia. Like, obvi true love!! No one else compares ever!!
Hajime but like a bro crush tho! There's nothing wrong with appreciating your homies sick pecs and kind and understanding nature and being heartbroken when you think they betrayed you! .... shit.
Nagito?
Nagito? DEFINITELY not Nagito.
Chiaki, who doesnt love a cute gamer girl?? Computers are just machines! Pink buddies!
NOT Fuyuhiko that's for sure.
Ibuki has a charm. But what if she's more punk than me D:
DEFINITELY not Gundham.
Peko. She's hot! Also kind of sweet if you unlock that watermelon scene.
Peko well. ... would have been weird after getting to know Fuyuhiko anyway.
Akane! Also hot! A little scary too but I mean hey that can be a bonus!
On that note, Nekomaru; there ACTUALLY is nothing wrong with appreciating the insanely buff bro that partakes in hijinks with you. Like, objectively.
Ibuki oh.
Not Mikan.
Ok yeah Fuyuhiko. Only because he's blonde and pretty and a good human shield and needs someone to visit him in the hospital.
Nekomaru well...
.... definitely not Gundham.
...
Or Chiaki.
Or maybe anyone anymore.
I'm gonna die a virgin :(
*Game:Exit*
Nevermind most of those I guess.
hehe Nevermind.
SchoolMemories.exe
God damn it
Gundham.
Akane I guess we were like siblings or the cool cousins all along.
Why did Impostor have to actually end up being really cool???
It's okay if Ibuki is the most punk bitch alive I am now secure enough in my personality that I could totally make it work. Unfortunately my detective bestie is telling me she's probably not really into guys. ... what if I'm not actually really a guy ...
Does Hajime count when he's like reinvented his personality? I'll count him again.
Hajime.
Princess Sonia just Sonia. But like ... different now.
....
Maybe Nagito again.

The last anon read my mind lol. Is it alright if I request the same thing with Fuyuhiko, where reader is trying to escape someone killing them and he saves them?
Man, y'all sure do love your near-death experiences. Nothing wrong with that though, I like writing them! Thank you for the request, Anon! - Mod Hajime
Fuyuhiko Saving You From A Murder Attempt
There was no reason for you to even be outside at a time like this.
But it was so hard to believe you had been trapped on a remote island and were now part of a killing game. Didn’t that sort of stuff only happen in fiction?
Still, despite Monokuma telling you all that your cabins were safe, you didn’t trust them.
You especially didn’t trust yours, if the broken lock was anything to go off.
Thinking ahead into the future, you didn’t tell anyone your door was busted. That would’ve made it too easy.
Though, being outside made you easy prey as well. There wasn’t a motive to kill yet, but wasn’t being trapped on an island a good enough reason?
Suddenly feeling nervous, you stood up. Long gone was the desire for peace within Jabberwock Park.
Without missing a beat, you ran back to your cabin, your adrenaline making it easier to handle running for such a long distance.
You opened your door and shut it behind you, letting out a long sigh. Nothing had happened today, not even a little spat between your classmates had occurred. So that meant there was peace, right?
You shuffled to the bathroom and stared at yourself in the mirror. Dark circles were forming under your eyes and your expression had turned into a permanent frown. Well, that was to be expected, considering you hadn’t slept properly in days.
The silence in your cabin was interrupted by the sound of your doorknob jiggling. Your useless lock audibly popped and the door creaked open.
If you shut your bathroom door now, you’d be discovered for sure. You tucked yourself into the corner, hoping the lack of light would you from the intruder’s vision.
Unfortunately, your efforts didn’t work. The intruder’s hand shot out and grabbed your arm, yanking you out of your hiding spot.
A shout ripped from you when you felt a sharp pain in your side. You looked down to see the handle of an ice pick sticking out of you.
With adrenaline pumping through you, you delivered a strong punch to your attacker, knocking them into your dresser. A little Monokuma plush hit the floor from the impact, bouncing against their leg.
Suddenly, you were very aware of the metal in your abdomen. You caught yourself on your dresser and staggered towards the door.
Blood roared in your ears when you heard the attacker getting up. You had to get out of there immediately.
The door slammed behind you and you stumbled across the docks, unsure of where you were. Everything was spinning and you felt like your dinner was about to make a second debut.
Your head knocked against a solid piece of wood. It cleared the heat in your ears so you did it again. You continued for an unknown amount of time, barely aware of an obscure figure walking towards you.
Without warning, the cool wood was removed from your head, sending you to the floor and the mystery person fleeing.
“What the fuck?” You heard someone talking. The voice was familiar, but your head was too full of melted butter to process it. Instead, you responded with a groan.
Trying to remember how to stand, you held your hands out to push yourself up, but the ice pick was making it hard to move. You struggled to find the pick and gripped it, ready to pull it out.
“Don’t do that, you dumbass!” A soft hand smacked yours away and you were quickly pulled into a bright, much warmer room.
A pretty face was in front of you and the person waved their hand in front of you. “Hey! Look at me! Don’t you dare die right now!” You squinted.
Pink cheeks, freckles, long eyelashes, and a mean snarl.
“Fuyuhiko?” You mumbled, struggling to pick an eye to look at.
He huffed, “Yeah, it’s me. What the hell happened to you?”
“Stabbed? I think.” You looked down at the ice pick and reached for it again, only to be stopped by Fuyuhiko again.
He held your hands down and ordered you to stay still and lay on the ground. The yakuza disappeared for a moment until he returned with a pair of scissors, a rag, bandages, and a bottle of rubbing alcohol.
“Gonna take it out?” You whispered, focusing on his face, specifically a freckle on his cheek.
He didn’t respond. Instead, he cut the fabric around the knife and pulled your shirt up, opening the rubbing alcohol. He was looking for something, but you didn’t know what.
You groaned when a stinging sensation erupted on your sternum. “Don’t move, you have a cut here.”
“What about the other one?” You asked, pointing at your plugged stab wound.
“If I pull it out you’ll bleed out. Can you shut the fuck up now?” He grumbled and wrapped your cut in the bandages.
Fuyuhiko sighed and dragged you over to his bed. When he realized he couldn’t carry you, he threw his pillows and blanket on the floor. He laid down next to you, quiet, but watching you.
Each rise and fall of your chest could be the last, and he didn’t want someone dead in his room.
He didn’t want to see anyone die for that matter.
You were one lucky bastard. Knocking on his door after getting attacked wasn’t easy, to add to that, you had an ice pick completely lodged in your body. He wanted to ignore it, but hearing the knocks get progressively slower made the pit in his stomach grow.
When he opened the door he was expecting something worse, but having you fall at his feet was worse. Not to mention the suspicious shadow that crept away when he opened his door. What would’ve happened if he hadn’t opened the door?
Did you even realize you were dying?
He looked over at you to check and let out a sigh of relief, seeing you still breathing. He just had to wait for the sun to rise then he could grab Mikan to get the ice pick out of you.
Hopefully you could make it for two more hours. He glanced at the clock, reading 5:00. “You really are a lucky motherfucker.” He let out a half chuckle.
He reached his hand to hold onto yours and squeezed it.
He was just checking your pulse, that was all.

Can you slander Makoto? I hate him too tbh but I rarely saw slander of him
Waited my whole life for this ask /j
Aight let's begin:
He's average, he has no redeeming qualities and could literally be replaced by any character in the franchise.
He has no unique hobbies or interests at all, he would have nothing interesting or fun to talk with you about.
He gets no development throughout the franchise
He got in HPA as the Ultimate Luck but spends his time fucking getting punched and stuff.
He doesn't care about other characters, he didn't care about Taka when he went catatonic, he didn't try to empathise with Leon, he never heard Hiro out in the third chapter, he never says anything to stop people from being rude to Sakura.
All ships with him are super bland and annoying, they don't work because he's so average and boring.
His personality is only put positively, he has NO flaws and I mean NONE. This makes for a bad protagonist because he has no room to improve and that makes him uninteresting to the audience. I would've forgotten about him if he wasn't a placeholder.
He lets characters be mean and bitchy to him (mainly byakuya)
He never trains with Aoi, not even after Sakura dies. SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN TRAINING ALONE GUYS, ALONE!
he's not relatable or realistic at all (tf are "The Meat Teens")
He's super annoying especially around Maizono-Chan
Poorly written and kinda bland
He has the most BASIC VA making him super forgettable, his VA is in every other anime on the planet and so he's easily forgettable.
He did nothing to get granted the title of Ult. Hope???
Average ass design, bro your jacket is BOOORING even Hifumi has a better fit tbh
He has no personality and no FTEs (bc he's a protag) so he seems super 2D compared to the other characters.
He's given too much credit as a protagonist when literally Kyoko does all the work.
Every time he's on screen I cry /hj
I skip his dialouge in UDG bc I can't stand his voice.
Milk Toast kinda guy
His suit design makes him look like an offbrand Fuyuhiko
His "hopeful attitude" is there until Sayaka needs him for support, he never asks further about her issues??? Until Leon needs some empathy for his situation, he goes "YOU MURDERED SAYAKA YOU BAD!!!" he wasn't there when Chihiro had a complex, they could've bonded "hey you may think you're weak but I KNOW I'm average" wasn't there for Mondo to help him in his final moments, wasn't there for Kiyotaka when he didn't even eat. I DID TAKA'S FTES IN CHAPTER 3 AND HE DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO HELP ("..." "..." "..." "Taka and I stood in silence for some time") he doesn't stop Toko and Hiro from calling Sakura ogre, and is scared of her for most of the game even though she's a sweetheart! He never sympathises with Yasuhiro (they were both framed at one point or another). He never helps Aoi after Sakura died, he never hears Toko/Jill out in ANY situation!
He keeps being accused of lying and nobody trusts him (chp.1 trial, chp.5 trial twice - masked figure attack, and his execution-)
He never works for anything, information is always given to him
The cast should've killed him and used his ahoge as a radio antenna to call for help, or connect it to alter-ego and get a radio signal.
A virtually untouchable character
All of his superfans go "He's such a pure innocent baby who did no wrong he's so cool!" but this list exists...
He never had any reason to kill, his motive/secret could've been hella interesting, he could've tried to kill, but we got nothing.
He's dense and any fics with him in it are boring.
Any other character would be a better suited protagonist.
Yeah this isn't the full list but I hope the anon enjoyed the ramble!
This is a hate against Makoto, yes, but this is my opinion, take this as you will. Please refrain from hating because at the end of the day we're all entitled to our beliefs.

please tell me ur patterns. plea
my danganronpa autism patterns…… for u……
chapter one:
tricked into murder
leon didn’t mean to kill sayaka. in fact, it was shown that she accidentally stabbed herself during the struggle in the bathroom, but since there were no cameras there, no one but leon knew, and it’s likely he fully believed he was the one who stabbed her.
teruteru only acts because he thinks nagito is planning to kill someone, and interrupts to take out a person he deemed as dangerous to the group. while he did mean to kill, he got the wrong victim.
kaede meant to take out the mastermind, and set up her trap accordingly. instead of killing the mastermind, however, she “killed” rantaro.
“important” victim
sayaka was played up to be makoto’s helper, of sorts, and also a possible love interest. she was the character we, the player, gotten the closest to at that point.
twogami had stepped up to be the leader of the group. additionally, since we believed him to be the real byakuya togami, his death so early was even more alarming.
in both previous games, the character with an unknown talent survived until the end, and coming into/remembering their talents was an important part of their stories. rantaro, however, doesn’t live long enough for that. he, additionally, is set up as the mysterious, knows more than they let on character type, like kyoko. additionally, the protagonist herself is killed in this chapter.
chapter two:
killer reveal
togami’s set up baits out genocider, a known serial killer with a considerable body count.
peko’s true talent as a swordswoman for the yakuza is revealed. ignoring the sparkling justice red herring, it’s reasonable to assume she’s killed at least once (ignoring her time as a remnant).
while technically after the trial, kokichi outs maki as the ultimate assassin, making it damn certain that she’s killed.
hard framing of another
byakuya strings up chihiro’s body and writes in blood to frame toko/genocide.
peko knocks out hiyoko and leaves a gummy bear at the scene. hiyoko’s footsteps are the only ones seen running from the scene after the body’s discovery.
kirumi reveals ryoma’s body at himiko’s magic show, leading everyone to believe it was himiko’s doing.
something unobtainable/something lost (unsure how to classify this one but trust me it’s There)
mondo snaps because he sees chihiro as a better person than he, a man he could never be, and is overwhelmed with anger. he lost his brother and could never move on, but chihiro suffered so much and was able to despite it all.
peko kills mahiru because of her covering up the true killer of fuyuhiko’s sister.
ryoma lets himself be killed because he has nothing left, while kirumi has the weight of japan on her shoulders. she’s what he never was: someone with a purpose.
chapter three:
double murder
kiyotaka and hifumi
ibuki and hiyoko
angie and tenko
death of a gay(coded) character
it’s not even coded! a spikechunsoft rep confirmed that taka and mondo had feelings for each other, even if they didn’t know it themselves.
more arguable, but mahiru and hiyoko’s relationship can very easily be interpreted as more than just friends. additionally, both ibuki and mikan are canonically sapphic.
tenko.
killing for love
celes kills for the person she loves most—herself. not only does she want the money to fulfill her dream, but she’s also led to kill because her heightened sense of self made it impossible for her to coexist with her classmates.
despair disease reminds mikan of her true love—junko. while it’s very clearly the remnant brainwashing talking, it could also be argued that mikan did admire junko even before then.
kiyo kills for the only person he’s ever loved—his sister. as fucked as it is, she’s the reason he turned to killing in the first place, and his love for her is what inspires him to continue on with his plans even after angie intervened.
death of a developing character
taka had just managed to overcome mondo’s death, and gained a brand-new personality to go along with it! but then he dies, so all of that was for nothing, i guess.
mahiru’s death hit hiyoko hard, and it’s clear that she was trying to open up more to the group and soften her ways. too bad she never got to show that improvement.
tenko’s relationship with himiko had finally begun to improve into something tangible, and she was even starting to get along with some of the guys! until one of them killed her.
focus on female antagonist
celeste
mikan
angie, although unlike the others, hers is pre-trial while the others are built up during it
chapter four:
for the “greater good”
sakura sacrifices herself not only for her classmate’s survival, but because she feels as if she has failed them as the “traitor”. this is the only way she feels she can both fulfill her promise and keep her family safe, while also protecting her friends.
both gundham and nekomaru sacrifice themselves so the group can go on, because otherwise, they would’ve all starved to death in the funhouse (asides from nidai).
gonta doesn’t only kill miu because of the “secret of the outside world”, but because she was planning on killing kokichi, which she could’ve very easily gotten away with, leading to everyone’s deaths but her own.
death of the buff character
sakura
nidai
gonta
chapter five:
overly complicated (goes without explanation i feel)
shrouded blackened/victim
mukuro’s body is covered and destroyed before any real investigation can be done. additionally, her killer is literally hidden, as the real junko had yet to make an appearance at that point.
the culprit themselves don’t know they did it! because of komaeda’s set up, chiaki throwing the poison bottle was pure luck, and nothing else.
we don’t even know who’s the victim and who’s the culprit for the entire trial, with kokichi’s body squished, and the eva not only hiding kaito, but allowing him to change his voice at will.
honorable mention: someone explodes
when the bombs around mukuro’s body are detonated, genocider is sent flying, but ends up being unharmed.
when komaeda blows up the dining hall/restaurant area, souda is caught up in the explosion, but he’s fine.
i don’t have anything for chapter six other than the big reveal bc other than that i think the similarities would be more in the themes than anything and. i am not putting myself through v3’s final trial again you can’t fucking make me
#muse talk#b3nt-exe#dangantag#seriously how did i not know i was autistic sooner when i was doing shit like this

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu x Fem!Reader **Commission**
Commission for @jesseapples ! Hope you enjoy!!
Prompt: Fuyuhiko comforts his gf who's going through a rough patch
Warnings: self h*rm (non descript but Fuyuhiko does check the wounds), anxious and depressed reader, cursing
Word count: ~1,538
A/N: I hope this helps anyone having a rough time (me included HA)!!
~
Fuyuhiko could tell something was off.
You were doing a great job pretending like everything was fine. Like you were functioning normally, like there wasn’t a crushing weight on your back that seemed to only get heavier and heavier each day… But Fuyuhiko could tell.
He could tell from the way you sighed quietly before you rolled out of bed in the morning. From the way your breakfast started to dwindle as your motivation started leaving. He saw the way you’d stand in front of the mirror before starting (attempting) your morning routine, how you’d stare at yourself with the slightest twitch of your mouth into a scowl.
The way, only recently, you’d shy away whenever he’d gotten too close when embracing you, or kissing you somewhere, as if you didn’t want him near (or had you thought that he didn’t want you near…?)
The most notable, Fuyuhiko thought, would have to be when you’d asked him to order your drink for you somewhere. Less of the question itself and more of how fucking defeated you looked when asking him, as if you’d failed somehow in asking for his help.
That day he’d decided he had to say something. He’d known you well enough to let you try to work through it alone first, to see if you would come to him if needed, but… he couldn’t stand seeing the way your smile had dimmed from its usual dazzling form.
You were in bed when he knocked gently on the door. Your skin was stinging, burning from the harm you’d inflicted just moments ago, (your relapse, your mind reminds you painfully) and you couldn’t help but hurry the blanket over your body to hide any indication of them. You didn’t want to worry Fuyuhiko, but…
You’d been in bed since this morning, since he’d left for work, weaving vines of anxiety tangling in your chest at the mere concept of getting out of bed, of being perceived by anyone. It was too much: the burning gaze of everyone judging you when you left the house, the effort needed to get ready and go out, every fucking day.
Everyday you would wake up and roll out of bed. Everyday you’d do your deep breathing exercises, you’d do your thought deconstruction to silence your mind, everything that you’d learned to help your mind settle itself, and everyday it grew more and more exhausting. You didn’t know how much longer you could keep going like this. It was exhausting. Ears constantly listening for any, even slight indicator that something could go wrong, eyes constantly flicking to check if anyone noticed that your shopping carts wheel is loose and squeaking and it’s so loud and—
“Hey,” he was in front of you now. When had he moved in front of you? “Talk to me,” he continued softly, eyebrows furrowed in concern, “Did something happen?”
You paused, mulling it over in your mind. Had something happened? Probably. What had gotten you this bad, again…?
“Maybe something with that one friend you’ve been having problems with?”
Oh. Yeah. That’d be it. You sighed, snuggling deeper into the blanket. “...And– just… work. And everything. Nothing. I don’t know.”
“Too much to think about?” he asked, moving to sit on the bed by your side. All you could do was nod at his question, making him hum thoughtfully. “...I haven’t seen you this bad in a while,” he murmured after a moment, and you assumed he was trying to sound nonchalant about it, but the way his eyes were scanning over your face for every little twitch told you how concerned he actually was. Guilt filled your stomach, and all you could do was avert your gaze and shy away.
Fuyuhiko stopped you before you could, gently lifting the blanket away from your face with an amused smirk. “You can’t hide while I’m talking to you,” he tutted, teeth flashing as he briefly grinned. Before you could retort back at him, he was already nudging you over with a playful roll of his eyes, settling in beside you and throwing the blanket over both your heads.
It was a light moment, and for a moment you found yourself free of your overworking mind, taking in how utterly silly Fuyuhiko looked hiding under the blanket with you. You watched him annoyedly swat at the way the blanket dipped in front of his face, obscuring his view, and a laugh erupted from you from how genuinely irritated he seemed.
“Hey!” Fuyuhiko scowled, but there was a light flush on his cheeks, “Sh-shut up, don’t make me leave—” His eyes gleamed playfully despite his threat, and you could tell by his self satisfied smirk as you guffawed that your laughter was what he wanted in the first place.
“As if you actually would,” you retorted, a mischievous smile pulling at the corner of your lips. He rolled his eyes instead of responding, scoffing at your smirk and rolling over as if to get out of bed. It was as if by instinct that your arms immediately locked around his waist, giggles slipping through your lips as you trapped him from leaving.
He sighed loudly as you kept him from leaving, but as he rolled over you saw a flash of his smile before his hand cradled the back of your head. The retort on your lips died as he prompted your forehead to lay against his shoulder, his other arm coiled around your waist to keep you close to him. You, instead, sighed quietly, feeling your body start to melt into his hold.
It was quiet for a few moments before he spoke again, voice soft, reserved for you, “You wanna talk about it? One issue at a time?”
You thought about it for a moment. It would be helpful to go through each problem one at a time, tackle each one and move on, but… Today, after feeling so fucking awful recently, all you wanted was to lay in his arms for a while. You shook your head against his shoulder, mumbling, “Maybe later.”
Fuyuhiko hummed in response, rubbing patterns on your back absently, “How bad is it this time? Think you can scale it for me, sweetheart?”
You swallowed thickly, averting your gaze for a moment as you contemplated telling him. You bit your lip, chewing on it slightly. Your silence was the only answer he needed, without a word he gently guided your gaze back to his, forefinger and thumb gripping your chin. He searched your eyes, your face, his eyes flicking around your form as he tried to read you.
“...That bad?” he asked softly after a moment. You felt affection swell in your chest for how well he knew you. Even now, when you were basically non-verbal, giving him the vaguest answers known to man… he knew what you meant. What you needed.
“May I?” he suddenly asked softly, and you gazed up at him in confusion. He pointedly tilted his chin towards where your hands were absently tugging on the fabric of your clothes, hiding the wounds inflicted earlier. You hadn’t even noticed. “You told me to look out for that a while ago,” he reminded you softly, as if reading your mind, tone just as soft, “I’m just wanna make sure they’re clean.”
You bit your lip, swallowing thickly but nodding. You tentatively raised the fabric from your skin, watching his eyes scan over the wounds attentively. His fingers gently grazed over the sensitive skin, his eyes flicking observantly towards your face to check for any wince.
You were surprised when he nodded slightly, placing a quick kiss to the skin before allowing you to hide it again. He didn’t seem upset, but his arm around your waist tightened after you’d comfortably settled in his arms again. You didn’t speak, maintaining the comfortable silence as you felt his hand rub over your back, his lips pressed absently to the crown of your head.
“...Sorry,” you whispered after a moment, burying your face into the crook of his neck.
“Don’t be,” he replied immediately, “Happens to all of us. I’m just glad I was here.”
“You’re not upset?” you murmured uncertainly, voice slightly muffled from how your lips rest against his skin.
“No,” he assured you almost instantly, tapping on your shoulder to bring your head out of the crook of his neck. His eyes met yours, and you were almost surprised by how intense his gaze was, his voice low and firm, “Y/N, I will never be upset at you for something like this. I want you to come to me.” You watched as he tried valiantly to keep his gaze locked with yours, but you could see the light flush on his cheeks at being so openly vulnerable. It made a smile tug at your lips.
You hummed in response, feeling as the tension finally started to melt from your body after weeks of stress. Your eyes drifted closed without your permission, too soothed by how his fingers massaged your scalp. Things weren’t fixed, certainly not, but you have someone on your side, and you decided that maybe that’s enough.

You cannot play the victim card forever. Yes Sakoto needs to be desposed of, yes your lives sucked and yes Hope's Peak is a mistake.
But they didn't tell you to do nothing while Hiyoko bullied Mikan, They didn't tell you to all gang up on Nagi because she "stole" a slot, which is a massive joke given how Peko stole Charlotte's slot and yet Peko hasn't been ostracized by that logic so you are all hypocrites. And you still decided to join a death cult on your own free will and end the world because you are the eternal victims.
And look at the anger. You aren't angry that Hiyoko almost killed Nagi because none of you even gave a single damn about her. You are mad because you were lied to, and Hiyoko is upset because she's been caught and when she says "I'm sorry" what she really means is "I'm sorry I was caught being a bitch, I promise I will be sneakier next time."
And yes you all loved Yukio but the point is his death is on YOUR hands as well because if none of you were such cowards to allow Hiyoko to torment Mikan to the point she felt the literal embodiment of the devil was her only way out, that is a colossal failing in your part.
You lot are so damn lucky Junko ordered you to hide those briefcases and Future Foundation has decided to be the better people, because if none of that was true you guys won't be here, you would be suffering a thousand deaths at the hands of a angry bitter world.
In short, accept responsibilty, grow the fuck up and start acting your age or else as soon as those briefcases are found you will all be killed.
Do we make ourselves very clear?
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
Guys, I know you all went through it, there's no denying that you all were hurt and yes, the teacher was horrible and awful but does that excuse you to treat others that badly?
All of us hurt people before and we did it without meaning to, that means we all need to get this sorted and work on trying to stop the tragedy; that means we have to deal with our past and realize where we went wrong!
I mean, holy shit! You all treated Nagi like shit and she still wants to help you out! So tell me why you did that?
Because she took Hatomi's spot, that was it.
Exactly, that's the only thing she did here and guess what, she's still wanting to help you all to redeem yourselves because frankly, I don't think any of you deserve it, y'know?
We-Well if she hated so much; she could of just drop out!
Exactly, if she was bother so much then she could-!
Then why didn't the rest of you drop out then?! You all hated the teacher, hated being at Hope's Peak, hated how Hatomi and Natsumi were treated after their deaths and didn't even consider dropping out! I mean Kei, you didn't like being the Ultimate Imposter but yet you still stuck around, right?! So why didn't you drop out as soon as you realize they were encouraging something you hated! Actually I want to ask Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko the same as well!
...!
...because I just wanted Peko to have a better life, that's all.
And I just wanted to get away from my family, that's all.
Exactly, I mostly wanted to attend because I wanted to feel special and now I have to live with some alter for the rest of my life, I have to be stuck with this and I'm not whining about it - I'm doing something.
So for god sakes, stop playing the victim! We all hurt people and made mistakes, hell the only reason Yukio got killed is because none of you stepped in when Hiyoko was getting bullied by Mikan and oh right, I remember that Nagi was the only person to get Hiyoko kicked out which none of you helped and no one even thanked her for that because even with her gone the teacher was still awful, right?!
I mean... fucking hell, now I see why Nagi keeps a lot of this shit to herself, because frankly you all would just make it about yourselves, that's it and I'm relieved she doesn't have to deal with this garbage.
I know it's hard for me to say since I do care for you all and want to help, but you guys have to help yourselves; the tools are there and Future Foundation can offer so much help but there's so much they can do so just help Future Foundation, you all need to.
Yeah and since it seems Nagi looked really tired from today and everything, I can see why she doesn't want to deal with you all right now, frankly I think I would rather head to bed then deal with this nonsense.

Danganronpa 3: Despair episode 3
Thonks.
It hurts seeing Hajime so low.
You get so used to Hajime in the game who was definitely more upbeat.
Seeing him look down on himself is hard to watch.
Especially because we know where it goes.
Makes you wonder how many people with his mindset exist.
We saw a bit of that from Makoto but he always puts a positive spin on it.
Like my optimism is only thing I'm good at.
But Hajime was full of despair long before Hope's Peak found him.
And they zoomed to him like he were blood in the water.
God and the shot of him walking part the 77th class, the elites themselves as a nobody.
It's good, it hurts.
Well this girls blunt and rude.
Natsumi Kuzuryu.
Wait.
Waaait.
That's Fuyuhiko's little sister?!
... Oh no...
Well she definitely has his personality.
Maybe it's a family thing?
So she has the whole thing of because my family, namely Fuyuhiko is talented she must be by association.
Gonna get a rude awakening.
Wonder who freckle faced bitch is?
And now this girl, Sato has beef with Natsumi. I feel so bad for Hajime he's just sitting there while they insult each other.
Hurt her?
Ohhh Mahiru.
No yeah Chisa did say she had a friend in the Reserve Course that she went to middle school with.
That must be Sato.
And Sato was in the photography club in her last school, which is Mahiru's talent.
Makes sense.
Man Natsumi is bad, but man she's good at causing chaos.
Junko should've recruited her, but given her arcade game... Guessing something happened.
I'm suprised Mahiru is scared of Natsumi, they must have had quite the history.
Again, poor Hajime just sat here as they argue at his desk.
Definitely been in that situation.
"My sisters been crazy since the day they bought her home."
Damn Fuyuhiko.
I mean, he's not wrong. She makes old Fuyuhiko look calm and civilised.
Annd Peko and Fuyuhiko are doing the pretend they don't know each other thing.
And him warning her not to do anything.
.... That warning unfortunately didn't translate into the game.
Gotta wonder how much was based on reality.
Annnd ibuki found them.
Hajime and Chiaki gaming together. I like their friendship, Hajime desperately needs a friend.
Him asking if she'd still like games if she sucked at them.
Her saying yes because she truly loves the games she plays.
Man... Talent really us everything to those that don't have it.
And it makes sense why, especially being cut off from the main school.
Her using Chisa's words, she really is the best teacher. And for a while that gets through to Hajime.
It won't last.
But it's nice to see him smile and game without a care in the world.
And than stopping Sato from slapping Natsumi.
Unfortunately as nice of a sentiment as the people you know doesn't make you special.
It might not make you talented, but it sure can open doors.
Especially if your the daughter of the head of the Yakuza.
Also... Sato you erm... Need to chill a little.
A lot.
You need to chill a lot.
The thing is, Hajime and Natsumi are the same.
They're both stuck in the Reserve Course and want nothing more that to join the main school.
They want a talent so bad they would do anything for it.
Natsumi tries to use the rays of her brothers talent to make herself shine.
Hajime agrees to something that will ultimately destroy him, just for a talent.
If anyone knows how Natsumi feels is Hajime.
And even than he's trying to use what Chiaki told him.
It's so sad how much not having a talent grips people, tears them apart.
Because she doesn't have one, she's afraid Fuyuhiko will leave in her the dust.
I doubt he would.
But if you're not useful, if you're not the best than do you even deserve to be in his life?
It's cut throat, it hurts.
And feeds into why someone would agree to participate in the Kamakura project at all.
Police?
And there's tape corning off the entrance.
"Some kid got murdered I think."
"Yeah a straight up homicide."
Thank you NPC's.
... And that's how Natsumi dies.
Fuyuhiko having to identify his sisters body... Peko being pissed feeling like she failed.
Sato... If it was truly you, you're fucked man.
And Hajime loses someone he was just starting to get to know.
... Okay Natsumi wasn't the nicest person but fucking hell she just died... Don't say that shit.
... Sato.. Has issues.
Idk if it was Sato because I can't see her lying to Mahiru but she's still sus.
But it if it wasn't Sato, who was it?
And Sato just vanished and was found dead.
... Fuck...
WHO LET JUZO BE SCHOOL SECURITY?!
That man should not be anywhere near kids. And in a position of authority?
Fuck that.
Fucker, who just throws a kid on the ground.
Also I don't believe the story he's giving. I doubt he's telling the truth at all.
Also Hajime I get wanting to punch the shit out of Juzo.
But not the best idea to try to hit a staff member.
No matter how scummy they are.
Annnd especially when that guy is the ultimate boxer.
Man that's 2 protags this man has hit to the ground.
Someone hide the others.
...and he fucking spat on him?!
... Nevermind hit him again... With a truck.
I'm suprised Izuru allowed this guy to see daylight.
Juzo, you're nothing, so I dunno why you're on such a high horse.
You are a pathetic little bully and when you die I'm going to laugh.
Hell I'll cheer.
I don't think I've ever hated a character more than Juzo Sakakura.
Like Munakata I can get.
I can understand where he's coming from and why he has this mindset.
Granted I might have to get hit in the head first.
Several times.
But Juzo is literally just a bully, he's been a bully since day one. He's prejudiced, he thinks he's God's gift to the earth.
He abuses his position to beat a high schooler, fucking spat on him because he's not "an elite."
I have no idea how someone like Chisa befriended him.
And just, ugh. Fuck this guy.
The worst thing is, Hajime could've moved on. He could've accepted Chiaki's words.
Could have truly believed he didn't need a talent to mean something.
But it's asshole's like Juzo who literally beat it out of him.
That make him think he's nothing.
Hajime being picked wasn't an accident.
It was strategic.
Congratulations Juzo Sakakura you contributed to the creation of the man who's going to destroy us all.
Thank god Chisa stepped in.
Don't blame Hajime pushing away from her though, of course he can't trust them.
Her friend just beat him up.
Also "Dark side of Hope's Peak." Is people like you, you're literally contributing.
The project your investigating, you just gave them their test subject.
And he might not have even gone for it if it wasn't for asshole's like you.
You literally had to just not beat and berate a student, but that's to fucking hard for you.
Don't get me wrong I appreciate having a character like Juzo, I just hate him.
... No no you can argue with that logic.
I know it's dangerous for Hajime go be snooping about but that doesn't justify Juzo's actions at all.
You don't beat up students.
Asshole you don't know to be nice.
And the funny thing is by doing that you've just given him more reasons to go for the project.
And look how safe that was.
Wait are they arguing over Munakata?
... Really?...
Guys, raise your standards he looks like a wet mop.
Hajime saying he has somewhere to go and talking like Chiaki's never gonna see him again.
God... My heart hurts.
"I'm empty. But you can take something empty and fill it."
Parallel to Makoto saying that words can be hollow but you can fill them.
... Oh Hajime... You are worth so much and I'm sorry the world won't let you believe it.

Sexy loud
-sleepy anon
I like the way you think, friend.
A gift for anon:
Maybe it was the giddiness of being able to spend time with a friend like a normal teenager, or the realization that their "unrequited feelings" might not be so "unrequited," or maybe it was the delirium of staying up til three in the morning, but somehow this movie night had become a little unhinged.
Hajime had found a stack of DVDs in the supermarket, and had talked Kazuichi into fixing up an old laptop so that he could use it to watch them. He had invited several of his friends to his cottage to watch movies with him, but most of them were busy. Only one person had shown up.
When he had opened the door to see Fuyuhiko standing there, hands in his pockets, cheeks as rosy as ever, Hajime had felt his heart do a little flip. He gladly invited the other boy in, letting him get comfortable in the space Hajime had prepared on the floor. The air between them was slightly awkward, given that the last time they saw each other, Fuyuhiko had kissed him.
And then punched him.
And then promptly ran away.
They hadn't had the chance to talk about it yet, and Hajime didn't expect that they would anytime soon. He didn't want to make their first unofficial movie night uncomfortable, after all. So he acted like nothing had happened, and Fuyuhiko did the same.
It got a little harder to pretend when they realized no one else was coming. The knowledge that it was going to be just them, alone in Hajime's bedroom, all night, was just a tad overwhelming.
Both boys did their best to ignore the awkwardness, though. They threw themselves into the movie they were watching and their discussion about it. They argued about popcorn like nothing else was wrong. They binged a whole trilogy of cheesy action flicks, laughing like nothing weird had ever happened.
Sometime after midnight (1 AM? 2? Hajime had no idea), the night started going off the rails. It started when Fuyuhiko accidentally knocked over what was left of the popcorn and Hajime had dissolved into giggles.
"It's not that fuckin' funny," Fuyuhiko grumbled, but a smile tugged at his lips, too.
"I know, it's not," Hajime agreed breathlessly. "I don't know why I'm laughing."
The yakuza heir couldn't help but start giggling in response. "You sound like an idiot."
Hajime just grinned at him. "Me? Your laugh is fucking adorable!"
Fuyuhiko glared back. "Shut up! No it's not!"
"It totally is," the taller boy argued, moving closer. "Here, I'll prove it." And he promptly started tickling him.
Fuyuhiko SQUEALED. He batted at Hajime's hands, swearing up a storm between the inevitable giggles escaping him. "I'm gonna kill you, you bastard!"
Hajime laughed even harder, not letting up. "You can't kill me, you love me!" he teased, not even thinking about what he was saying until he saw Fuyuhiko's face turn bright red. He stopped tickling him for a second. "Oh, uh..."
The smaller boy seized the opportunity to pin Hajime under him, looking triumphant despite his flushed cheeks. "So what?" he replied, trying to sound casual. "My mom always said, 'being a yakuza means you can even kill the man you love to get your point across!'"
Now it was Hajime's turn to blush. He stared up at Fuyuhiko incredulously. Did he actually just admit...?
Before he could finish the thought, though, he was attacked. Fuyuhiko began tickling him mercilessly. "How do you like it, ya bastard?!" the blonde laughed.
Hajime cackled, struggling under the smaller boy, and soon they were rolling around on the floor, both grappling for dominance. Honestly, Hajime was kind of impressed. What Fuyuhiko lacked in strength he more than made up for in tenacity.
Finally they came to rest with Hajime on top of the other boy, pinning his wrists to the floor and grinning triumphantly at him. Both of them were panting and flushed, and Hajime tried very hard not to think about that in their current position.
"This doesn't mean you won!" Fuyuhiko argued, still squirming underneath the taller boy.
"Yes it does," Hajime laughed. "Admit it, you lost."
"Never!"
Snorting at his friend's stubbornness, Hajime pushed it even further. "Come on, admit I won!" A smirk curled across his face. "Say my name, Fuyuhiko~"
The blonde looked up at him, wide-eyed, before smirking back. "You fuckin' pervert. You that desperate to hear me calling your name?"
Hajime flushed darker, but didn't back down. "You're the pervert, I never said anything like that!" Despite his protests, though, he leaned in closer. "I'm not asking for much. Just say my name." His voice was practically a purr.
Fuyuhiko stared back at him with half-lidded eyes, still breathing heavily. His smirk fell for just a second before coming back even worse. "Fine. Come closer and I'll say it."
Raising an eyebrow, Hajime complied, leaning further down. As he drew closer, Fuyuhiko leaned up, putting his mouth close to Hajime's ear. There was a beat of silence where they both just froze, and then...
"Oh, Hajime~!" Fuyuhiko let out a mock-moan, practically yelling Hajime's name into his ear. The taller boy fell over in surprise and Fuyuhiko burst out laughing. "You dumbass, serves you right!"
Hajime was just staring at him in shock, brain short-circuiting as all of his blood rushed south. Why the hell was a play moan so sexy?!
Fuyuhiko raised himself up on his elbows, furrowing his brow as he looked at Hajime. "You okay? Did I actually fuck up your ear or somethin'?"
Slowly, Hajime shook his head. He sat up, still staring at Fuyuhiko. "...Can you say it again?" he asked quietly, cheeks flushed.
A blush shot up Fuyuhiko's neck. "Wha-?! Say it again?! You really are a pervert!"
Hajime moved closer, crawling over Fuyuhiko, ignoring the way the smaller boy panicked. He brought their faces close together, eyes locked with Fuyuhiko's. "Please?"
After a pause, a very flustered Fuyuhiko managed a slight nod. "Fine, yeah... Um..." He swallowed hard. "...Hajime," he murmured, not putting any sort of inflection on it.
Hajime huffed, not moving away. "Say it like you mean it."
Making a frustrated sound in the back of his throat, Fuyuhiko tore his gaze away from Hajime's face. "Fine! Jesus..." He took a deep breath before letting out another mock-moan, quieter this time. "Hajime~!"
Immediately the brunette pounced on him, crashing their lips together. Fuyuhiko squeaked in surprise, unsure how to react, but Hajime pulled away after just a second. "S-Sorry," he apologized, panting. "Something about the way you say it..."
Fuyuhiko stared at him from where he lay pinned on the ground again. Finally, the yakuza heir grabbed the front of Hajime's shirt, yanking him closer. "Then maybe I'll keep saying it... Hajime~"
Hajime's eyes widened, but he recovered quickly, moving in to kiss the other boy again. This time, Fuyuhiko was ready, kissing back with equal fervor. Hajime lowered himself carefully, resting his weight on the boy beneath him, trying not to feel embarrassed about his obvious excitement poking against Fuyuhiko.
The blonde broke the kiss, smirking up at Hajime. "So I guess you're not mad about me punching you?"
Hajime let out a startled laugh, having completely forgotten about that. "I think I could be convinced to forgive you... If you keep saying my name."
"Hajime~" Fuyuhiko purred without missing a beat. Immediately, Hajime's lips were on his again, kissing him deeply.
The two of them spent the rest of the night in each other's arms, completely forgetting about the movie playing in the background. This was a much better use of their time.
Hajime had never been so happy to hear his own name.
Lol I'm gonna leave it there because I'm at work. But I hope you like it, anon! Feel free to send me more prompts. That was fun!

vent, dont read if you hate teruteru hanamura or like fuyuhiko kuzuryu. its a little fuyuhiko slander but whatever just dont start arguments with me if you are specifically both a fuyuhiko lover and teruteru hater
anyone else get sick to their stomach when someone hates on their fav character while enjoying an equally as horrible character. nothing against fuyuhiko but he's literally from the japanese mafia. there's no doubt that he has either killed or had peko kill people. how is teruteru worse than an actual serial criminal?? teruteru never touched anyone without consent, nor did he attempt to. him dropping this act in his trial shows that this isn't his true self, that it's part of that fake personality he puts out so he seems cool. its okay to dislike or even hate him, i just dont understand how someone could tell me im wrong for seeing past that to enjoy his character when they do the same damn thing with a yakuza.

I've seen fanart wherein Kazuichi is the one that's waiting for Gundham to wake up after the Neo World Program/Island Killing Game ended, but I want a switcheroo where Gundham is the that wakes up from his pod despite not being one of the survivors— and while he is more than relieved to still be alive despite thinking that he died back in the virtual world, he is more concerned to learn that some of his classmates haven't woke up yet...
One of them being more concerning of all is Kazuichi, since he definitely survived until the end and should've been the one that got to wake up with the rest of the remaining cast, and not Gundham.
So what gives?
This is all I have bc I'm super tired XD
*puts on Monokuma hat* let’s see what the wheel says….Ah!
so in typical Monokuma “I love the misery and drama I infect in these kids”, he sees Kazuichi is bereft right? Completely lost and confused in his feelings and lack of for Sonia is other than the distinct loss of a potential friend and also thinking that he’s actually useless to his friends who after the Fun House aside from Chiaki have been Mean As Hell ™️ to him. So he begs Monokuma for a chance to bring Gundham back, even if it means he’s gone.
And AI Junko piggybacking in Monokuma relishes the despair and grants it. Just before they return to the NWP, Junko grabs Kazuichi’s consciousness and when everyone else wakes up their ecstatic to see they made it out…but he didn’t. At first they think it’s a fluke - he’s just sulking in the pod cause Sonia didn’t ask for help. But as the hours pass and his pod doesn’t unlock, they start to get antsy. And Hajime is working the tower in the center, trying to access his many talents to read the code and life readings, when a pod unlocks.
Akane and Fuyuhiko are relieved at first, finally thinking Kazuichi was gonna wake up. But when the pod on the far left in the circle opens and out tumbles Gundham and immediately everyone panics. Sonia is elated because her best friend is alive, but the others are mixed about this, especially Akane who hates him cause of the Fun House. Hajime is panicking because this feels wrong.
And as it all starts to come to end and tension is fraying, a malicious string of code suddenly appears and a very insidious sentence appears that reads:
A life for life; Kazuichi will do just fine for my plans ^.^
AI Junko took Kazuichi in the hopes to keep her original plan for taking over their bodies. A mechanic with all the skills and abilities will help her far more than a displaced princess, gymnast or rockstar. Hajime is panicking because what did Kazuichi do!? But he does remember how the mechanic was more subdued and withdrawn after the Fun House - how he seemed to skirt around their group after Chiaki’s death. He was isolated and alone; a perfect target.
And they got Gundham back, all for Junko to come back reborned in Kazuichi’s body. And that makes everything worse. Makoto and Bakuya have to drug Akane and restrain Fuyuhiko; Sonia is torn between hating Kazuichi for his behavior, but moved he would take anyone place; and Gundham is torn because he died for nothing and feels robbed for that, but is also concerned for the fools well-being. He thought Kazuichi a coward, but he’s starting to see that he had strengths were others would see weakness.
Gundham always felt a twinge a regret that he never really got to truly know Kazuichi, and now that he has memeories of their “frenemies” ship back in Hopes Peak, he feels dissatisfied. He wants more and as soon as the mechanic wakes up, he’ll make sure to get it.
Now the race for Hajime to begin the debrainwashing program and also to get Kazuichi back in one peace.

I’m no mystery writer. I can’t promise airtight murder cases. Still, I have quite a lot of ideas for the first chapter of "I DISAGREE: An Ibuki Mioda SDR2 Protag Swap AU." Let me piece together something - or some of something, anyway - for our new protagonist to piece together in her first pitched battle against sheer despair. Strap in, cuz it’s a long one.
We've All Been Looking for the One: The First Trial
The Monokuma File only confirms the obvious. The victim: Chiaki Nanami, Ultimate Gamer. Time of death: when else but in the dead of night? Cause of death: impalement, as evidenced by the gushing tunnel connecting gut and back.
Ibuki screamed even louder than Hiyoko, drawing everyone - including the bear. Hajime vomited. Byakuya fell on his knees. Fuyuhiko bemoaned the bastard who did this. Mikan broke down. Monokuma cheered. Everyone else cried out. But with a limited window before the imminent trial, there was no time to grieve - only to investigate.
Let’s follow the investigation and trial through the main suspects:
Nagito finds the Ultimate Kendoka’s sword at the bottom of the swimming pool, definitely not where Byakuya had stowed it after confiscating it. Only this could be the murder weapon, and surely only its wielder could use it so effectively. Her do-nothing demeanor could be a put-on for all anyone knows, and her being barricaded like every other patient means nothing when Chiaki also somehow escaped.
<Peko Pekoyama!>
Fuyuhiko vigorously defends her, leading everyone to question why he paid so much more attention to her than anyone else. Ibuki notes that before even knowing the girl was sick, he noticed that she wasn’t at the restaurant and rushed to find her. Peko says they should stop hiding their connection. That’s how everyone learns that the two have known each other practically since birth. The Ultimate Kendoka is the Ultimate Yakuza’s lifelong bodyguard and companion.
Ibuki thinks it’s adorable that he did so much to protect her. The others feel differently …
<Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu!>
A few things become clear: the killer needed access to the sword, and they couldn’t have been stuck in a room. So, either a patient with help from staff (Fuyuhiko released Peko, who killed Chiaki) or a member of the staff on their own (Fuyuhiko did it himself to cure Peko). Fuyuhiko had already shown a willingness to kill before this sudden pivot to nursing. Maybe he volunteered specifically to become the blackened after all!
“No, that’s wrong!” Hajime’s been practically nonfunctional after seeing Chiaki’s corpse. Though he’ll never know it in this AU, her presence in the trials would’ve grounded him in a way no one else could, enabling him to suss out contradictions and find the truth. This is what allows another person to become the protagonist. With Fuyuhiko in the crosshairs, though, he’ll finally spring into action. “Peko would’ve died too,” he continues, “and he’d never let that happen.”
A few other clues will vindicate the pair. I like the idea that Hajime is Fuyuhiko’s alibi because they spent the whole night in bed together. Kuzuhina fans, rejoice! (Fuyuhiko, too straightedge to let the implications stand, insists they just watched samurai movies until they passed out.)
This is when Ibuki and Mikan realize something crucial. “She wasn’t acting like herself,” Fuyuhiko says about Peko’s recent behavior shift. He’s the only one who’d know what any patient was like before the island. It’s no coincidence that they started acting weird when they fell ill. The illness itself radically altered their personalities! “It’s like Opposite Day Disease,” Ibuki shouts, “or Being-Really-Different Disease!” (And this is why I chose Peko as one of the infected!)
Monokuma confirms their theory, but claims dibs on naming the malady he invented. He dubs it Despair Disease.
<Byakuya Togami!>
Up to this point, Ibuki’s mostly been little more than a contributor to the trial’s progress. Byakuya Togami dominates the conversation with his self-proclaimed leadership role. His keen observation skills and high intellect back him up. What he can’t quite manage is to piece together a clear narrative of the night’s events, though he still expects everyone to catch up with him.
Several things become clear:
The staff were around the contagious patients long enough that someone could’ve caught Despair Disease from them.
The symptoms of the infected cleared up after Chiaki’s murder, though the exact timeframe is unknown.
Hajime and Fuyuhiko are each other’s alibis.
Ibuki and Mikan, having also shared a bed (Hiyoko: “Hey, is that hotel a love hotel?”), are each other’s alibis.
(I've learned that two people can’t just be each other’s alibis. Just assume there was an awkward moment, very late at night, where Mikan and Fuyuhiko tried sneaking out of what they both know to be, respectively, Ibuki and Hajime’s rooms. They both ducked back in and apparently stayed.)
No one saw Byakuya after the group split and left Ibuki’s room.
Byakuya was the one who insisted on storing Peko’s sword.
He also insisted on keeping its location secret from everyone else.
The alleged leader and protector of the group doesn’t take the subsequent accusations well. (Being the only one on staff who slept alone that night doesn’t help.) Ibuki’s confident that he’d never murder someone in a million years, but vibes alone aren’t enough for others to drop their suspicions. This is her moment to shine as the protagonist! Her vivid imagination allows her to conceive possibilities that wouldn’t cross anyone else’s minds and devise creative solutions that most would immediately dismiss.
One funky idea I had for how his name gets cleared involves Chiaki’s nails. While examining her corpse, Ibuki notices dark marks beneath them - flesh, torn off when the victim fought back. Kitty had claws, but who bears the claw marks? Only one way to find out: “Quick! Take off your top!” With no choice but to remove his dinner jacket and undershirt, Byakuya shows no signs of that damage on his chest, arms, or back.
Pants are out of the question. At least, not until others expose their upper halves first. Despite Teruteru’s insistence, they start with the boys:
The slim Fuyuhiko is free of marks.
So is the surprisingly wide-chested Hajime … “but,” Ibuki teases, “you already knew that, didn’t you, Hiki-chan?”
Nagito has scars, but they’re old. Mikan correctly guesses they’re from past surgeries.
Kazuichi, who’s been near-catatonic since being discovered in his room, is reluctant to move, let alone strip. Ibuki recalls that his crazy pecs were exposed throughout his entire hospital stay. They thought that finding him with his jumpsuit zipped up was a sign of normalcy …
The others urge him to comply. With great reluctance, he unzips. This action reveals a bloodstained wifebeater.
<Kazuichi Soda!>
More on the murder and execution, next week.

Mahiru for the bingo?
Mahiru is an utterly FASCINATING character to me for her role in chapter 2, but I feel like the potential there was just never used. Despite seeming so upstanding and righteous and pushing her ideals onto everyone else, the fact of Natsumi's murder and her covering it up because her friend committed it paints Mahiru as someone totally spineless, willing to go back on her morals as soon as it benefits her. And then she doubles down on that decision when Fuyuhiko confronts her, and still tells him that he was wrong for killing Sato. Which, the point is not whether he WAS right for it, the point is that Mahiru said NOTHING when her friend beat Natsumi to death and helped her cover up the murder, and THEN TOLD FUYUHIKO that him doing the exact same thing was wrong.
That could've been really interesting, but where they failed was they never actually explored the idea of Mahiru's morality. They just went back to "she was a perfect and innocent and morally upstanding 100% good angel" and never questioned it. And it could've been great. Especially because the remnants of despair were later on narratively absolved of all their crimes- make them acknowledge that they really just weren't good people! But they don't. And all the fans that hate Mahiru don't get it. It's not that Mahiru PRETENDS to be a perfect person but is a bully and an enabler and a piece of shit. It's that she genuinely thinks that she knows what is right and is doing what is right, but in those situations, she abandons her morals, and still judges people who don't abide by them. She thinks she's right. But the narrative should've questioned that more than it did. THAT would've been REALLY cool.
Idk. It parallels how she lets Hiyoko get away with bullying but not anyone else bullying Hiyoko. She thinks, she really does think she truly knows what is right, like everyone should, which she heavily pushes on others. But she backs down when it involves someone she cares about. Someone that everything would be better for her if she ignored the flaws of. Even when she won't stop judging other people for doing the same.
Does this make sense? Probably not. I think Mahiru could've been really great but the narrative let all of that down by ignoring that she had so obviously done wrong and was not the perfect person she thought she was. And no one gets it! She's not perfect and she's not evil. She's morally questionable and self righteous. And that could've made her great.
#danganronpa#onyx talks too much#mahiru koizumi#not claiming to be a mahiru expert btw#this was just my interpretation of her role & death in sdr2#character bingo

Dear Hiyoko fans.
Yes, what Fuyuhiko, Peko and Mikan all did to Hiyoko during the killing game was terrible and evil. Yes, people should not downplay or dismiss Hiyoko's suffering and clear trauma she had suffered during and after Mahiru's murder/class trial. Yes, Hiyoko was absolutely justified in her hatred towards Fuyuhiko after Peko's execution (and this fandom has a serious problem with treating her as a bad guy for it when in reality, ironically, this may have been the only time in the game when Hiyoko was clearly the good guy in the situation).
HOWEVER
Don't you think that Hiyoko's abusers had already paid enough for their crimes against her? Peko was painfully executed (and apologized to Hiyoko after coming back from the dead); Mikan was not only executed, but also would literally be never the same person again now; and Fuyuhiko had done a titatic amount of work trying to atone for his sins, both during and after the killing game.
In contrast, Hiyoko had not, until literally today, done anything to make up for HER OWN abusive evil terrible behavior. She CHOOSE to torture Teruteru when she simply had an option to not hang out with him (if she was feeling any discomfort about hanging out with a murderer). She CHOOSE to torture Mikan(when Mikan was sleeping and defenceless!) even when she knew at this point that Mikan didn't kill her out of her own free will and is not a threat to her or her friends anymore. And she had done all of this while continuing to act like a bratty ten years old kid.
So, if you have any moral integrity, you have to admit: If Hiyoko was right in her hatred towards Fuyuhiko in the killing game, the whole class (and Mahiru too) are right in their hatred towards Hiyoko right now.
Good thing is that if fucking Fuyuhiko had became a better person, Hiyoko can became a better person too... And she's trying to do that right now, so... Don't mess her up by trying to make her believe she had done nothing wrong, if you truly care about her.
Yeah, like enough all ready. It’s kind of like this:
Hiyoko is a bully, straight up. And when she does bully things they act like she’s a total saint. And the sooner everyone realizes the sooner can improve to not be so much of a bully and a better character.

tldr: look at the way the fandom treats female characters compared to male ones
characters like Gundham and Gonta are allowed to get away with wanting to get everyone else killed because they're sweet little angels who did nothing wrong (which by the way, Gundham in 2-4 wasn't acting out of altruistic reasons like everyone tries to claim he did, he was gonna get everyone killed without a second thought, Gonta the same) but whenever you get a character like Sayaka they will claim that she's a selfish piece of shit with nothing else to her
You see that a lot more with the female cast than the male cast. Characters like Mondo, Byakuya, and Fuyuhiko are allowed to get away with being rude but whenever it's someone like Hiyoko or Ruruka suddenly they're irredeemable and deserve to die
not to mention how much people shit on Sonia for "doing nothing to deserve surviving" but Kazuichi is right the fuck there and so is Fuyuhiko who both have a net total of 1 overarching plot contribution (and even then like. Kazuichi is more plot device than character in that instance and Fuyuhiko's most relevant thing he does after Chapter 3 is sit on a chair)
of course you also see this with how people are generally pissy at characters like Mikan and Mahiru and Kirumi. same for Himiko people love to act like she did nothing to deserve living from a narrative perspective
yeah I think the fandom whether knowingly or unknowingly is to some extent misogynistic

Words of Wisdom
I-I'm sorry that you're seeing me like this *hic!*But I don't fucking know what to feel! C-Can you fucking blame me for expressing myself?!
H-Huh?!!
*Natsumi stops crying and turns to see Hajime holding her hand while looking at her with a somber expression and closed eyes, much to her shock*
...
I understand what you're feeling, about the fear of your brother abandoning you and forgetting all about you, simply because you're not that important. But I can say with certainty that those thoughts of abandonment are wrong!
Wh- What!? What the hell are you saying right now, Hinata?
What I'm saying is that this exact kind of feeling is exactly similar to how I feel when in regards to talent. You may not know this, but I'm from the Reserve Course, and I can tell you with proof that the Reserve Course is nothing short of a nightmare! Every single day, not only am I shamed for not having a talent, but also have to deal with miserable excuses from teachers, who are nothing more than bigoted pricks!
And yet I kept pushing through it! I kept pushing through the pressure, the pain, and the hardships, just because I wanted to feel like somebody! I wanted to be special in a society that judges people based on talent, and to become part of something bigger than myself, to have confidence and to be someone I could be proud of! Of what my parents could be proud of! Of what my freinds could be proud of!
But you know what? I just realized that this pursuit of talent, at the cost of myself and my well-being, wasn't worth it. I still DO want a talent, don't get me wrong. But I realized that in this pursuit of talent and glory, I was becoming someone I wasn't, a man who would've sacrificed everything just to get a talent, even perhaps his individuality just for one talent that is just for status.
Eventually, it was thanks to a few special people in my life that made me realize that talent isn't everything and shouldn't define your life. What I'm trying to say here is that I know what you're going through, because I've been in that situation before, and I understood at least enough to know how to solve it.
What do you mean you know?!! You don't even have a big brother for Pete's sake!
Yeah, it's true that I don't have a brother, so I really don't know what it's like to have a sibling relationship. But *looks up into the starry sky* if I did have a brother or a sister, I would like to think that they would be proud of the person I am today and that they would love and support me regardless if I have a talent or not. That's true sibling love right there!.
I know I haven't gotten the chance to know your brother personally, but from what I can tell, he cares deeply about you Nat. After all, if he did forget about you, he wouldn't entrust me with your personal safety, and he wouldn't have been so eager to find the culprit who killed Simmons, all because of you.
So if there's any advice I could give you, it's that you have to believe more in the ones you love most and don't worry or think about stuff like that, despite how hard it is to ignore. After all, siblings are always destined to look after one another, right? And despite how it may look like, just know that Fuyuhiko always loves you and supports you, always.
...
After all, you guys look inseparable to me, so I wouldn't worry too-
Ack!
*Just as Hajime was going to finish, Natsumi leaps right at him, arms outstretched, and jumps in for a big hug, squeezing tightly, much to Hajime's bewilderment*
Thank you... I honestly don't even know what to say at this point. It doesn't make the feeling go away yet, but I'll take that advice into thought next time.
Of course. Issues like these take time to heal and patch up, but no matter what happens, I'm here for you, every step of the way...
