Sloan is back at preschool! 🎉🥳 On a completely different subject, feast your eyes on this eBay find! While teaching at the @bowarrowpress it was fascinating to watch people gravitate toward our nice collection of Futura Light. It's a pretty hard-core geometric sans-serif, but on the page it has a surprising delicacy and lyricism to it. There *are* some WTFs I'd like to ask Paul Renner, like what was he thinking with the cap eye / lc ell design, or the i/j/! trio, but those are somewhat endemic to that whole style of type design. When I opened Reflex I missed its presence in the collection, but I figured I'd keep my eyes open for that million-to-one chance of obtaining some. And here we are! A decent set of 24pt for not a lot of money. Bonus: unlike the Bow & Arrow fonts, this one has lowercase numbers! Woo-hoo!
