Some lore under the cut!

So Beta went apeshit! Who would've thought. Dib's health gave out because of all the shit that was happening (that's a long story for another post) and while he was recovering Beta had a little. A teeny-tiny argument with Zim. Which ended in Zim being brutally beaten to death with a heavy object, and Beta pulling a Zib and replacing his PAK with Zim's. The results is these two stuck in one body unable to split or fuse together :)

They will fuse after a loooong while still, they really just need to calm the fuck down and come to terms with each other mostly. Kinda like a SU fusion, but it's just their minds. That being said, it's them in the drawing! We decided to call them Zeta (Zim+Beta all that)

That being said, Zeta belongs to my lovely rp partner, @0mochi0 :3

Partners 🥕🥗 (part 1-3)

So I keep forgetting to post here as well, but it means I get to post things as batches instead of separated parts like I do on twitter. Kinda handy!

I always loved doing parallels between GT/Xeno/SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta and their DBS counterparts. Especially when it comes to their dynamic lmao. So here's a silly thing

(Part 1):

[the other parts are actually based on quotes from GT & Heroes, but this one was initially just having fun] I think it's self-explanatory kek.

(Part 2): GT/Super

I was basically rewatching GT clips for fun and thought it was funny a lot of people don't realize that in the scene, that inspired this, Vegeta is actually grabbing Goku's -sides- and not his arms. Fulfilling my HC of "they're so involuntarily gay without even realizing it, it's so normal for them" LOL. And also the fact that while DBS Vegeta barely even wants to try fusion, GT Vegeta tries his hardest with the poses.

[Said scene from GT btw. He's *practically* almost touching his pecs even, too, haha.]

(Part 3): Xeno/CC

Self-explanatory again, I think! :)

You can clearly not see who my favorite version of this duo is. I love the differences between both a lot.

"Norm?"

Your voice bounces off the concrete walls and back into your ears. Your heels click with every step, your shoes are nice and shiny for the occasion. He wasn't home, at Chet's, or in the fusion room. A long shared hiding spot. You frown as you turn down yet another hallway. A sea of copy-pasted doors muddle together in your eyes as you huff. Maintaining your peppy smile you grip the bouquet tighter. When you noticed Lucy, but no Norm to accompany her you had to pause everything. A much disagreed decision which led to Overseer MacLain chastising you for your decision. It wasn't a good idea to make Vault 31 wait but you couldn't care less.

"Norman."

Your voice grows in pitch as you backtrack out of the hallway and into an identical one. One furthest from your wedding and who do you find sitting with his back to you? Cleaning the connection line of the vault floor.

"Oh! Norm, there you are."

He doesn't turn back and simply gives you a quick hand raise and a simple, "Busy. Be done soon."

You give a soft giggle and crouch down behind him.

"Norman MacLean. It's rude to ignore the person being married. Especially on their wedding day."

He finally turns at that. Almost as if he just realized who was talking to him. Your smile is unrelenting a stark contrast to the stony expression he gives you in return.

"Well, are you coming?"

You stand and extend your hand only to frown when he simply glances at your palm.

"What's wrong?"

You start to worry as he takes his time replying. You never felt this before, the feeling of your stomach becoming a giant knot. Like all your intestines became worms and got themselves tangled in each other. You did not like this feeling.

"You're making my stomach hurt, Norm. What's going on? You said you would be there when I met my partner."

"I got assigned cleaning duty."

You scoff and roll your eyes, a smile gracing your lips again as if you solved one of the riddles in the vault newspaper.

"It's my wedding day. I'm sure Hank would understand. You're my best friend after all, he would want you to be there with me."

Hands on your hips you can't help but notice as your cheeks start to sting with all this frowning and smiling.

"Best friend. Yeah, okay."

He repeated you again.

"Norman, what's going on? Are you sick?"

Bending over at the waist you place the cool back of your hand to his warm forehead and chew on your bottom lip. He feels fine. So why is he acting like this?

"I'm fine. It's nothing."

He swats your hand away. Using his hands he pushes himself to stand.

"Let's just go."

"No. Not until you tell me what's going on. Why you're acting like this. You've never repeated me twice. You only do that when you're upset. Three times and I would have to call security."

You try to give him a smile and laugh, but he just pushes past you. Hurrying you catch up to him as he goes to turn the corner out of the hallway. Reaching out you're able to grab ahold of his suit before he makes it.

"I don't want you to get married."

His words are rushed and he refuses to look at you. You give a small laugh hoping he was joking. You didn't go through all this... all this moving on just for him to confuse you.

"Norm, you said you were excited when I told you I was chosen."

"I lied."

I lied echoes throughout the corridor. Your grip tightens on his suit as you soak in his words.

"You told me-."

"I lied. About everything. It wasn't just practicing for me. None of it was practice. You need this, I know. Now you know so you can move on. What are you hoping they look like?"

He gives you a false smile and it looks out of place especially with you mimicking his stony expression from before. Dropping your hand you furrow your eyebrows and slam the palm of your hand into his chest.

"You... jerk! All this time I thought you wanted to be just friends. Thought you regretted everything. Fudge, Norm. Why didn't you tell me? I would have never gone to the council and convinced them to let me get married."

He gives you a genuine smile and you want to hit him again. Maybe yell at him some more until he's cupping your cheeks. His eyes are intense as they stare into yours.

"I know how important fulfilling your job is, I would never ruin that for you. I thought it would be easier if I didn't show up."

"That's stupid. You're more important to me than any job. I would be just as fulfilled and happy scrubbing floors."

His eyes search yours. His fingertips press into the soft flesh of your cheeks. You can tell he wants to lean in closer. Do as you always did ever since you were children. You don't give him the chance to back away. Not again. Leaning forward you rest your forehead against his, nose smushes against each other making it difficult to breathe. As if you could breathe clearly given the circumstances.

He takes the initiative this time and closes the minuscule gap between your lips. Years as the Overseers son gave him access to anything he ever wanted and you can tell he uses it to take care of himself.

"Strawberry?"

"They figured out how to make this stick that makes your lips soft and they gave me one to try."

You giggle and kiss his soft sweet lips again and again. Breaking away to smack your lips covered in the foreign flavor. After a good thirty minutes, you hear your name being called from a dot down the hallway.

"Lucy." You whisper as your heart starts to rise and you fear you might throw it up.

Taking your hand he squeezes it tightly before letting it fall beside the fabric of your wedding gear.

"I don't want to get married anymore, Norm. What do I do?"

"We explain to Lucy and see what she has to say. She's the older sister for a reason."

You are absolutely right in the assumption that making fusions is like math and chemistry. It especially goes together since there is math in chemistry to keep the law of equivalent exchange going.

When I am given the prompt, it's like the candidates are the sum. Each of these sums already have properties that are declared, such as personality, gender and sex, as well as their most distinguishing features and choice of outfits. When combining them, it's a matter of balancing out some of these features or drawing from some of them to give the fusion its own identity while combining it's candidates.

With your point on Thearletto, you are right that she can be fused either from her individual candidates or from one of the fusions and other candidates. However, it is for this exact reason that designing Thearletto was hard. Paradox was easy to design because Bls, Bo and Nala have never fused before. With Thearletto, her candidates- Neko, Theresa, and Coalette, have all fused with each other before. I basically had to mentally create a Venn Diagram with Norah Potablette, Noel, and Camillaron so that I can combine all of their features and mesh them into Thearletto.

Recall how Lina/AMart had confused Thearletto with Camillaron because of her "librarian glasses". I did in fact give Thearletto the same circular lenses, except that Thearletto's glasses are thicker and larger than Camillaron's spectacles thanks to Neko giving those glasses thicker frames. Then, to help differentiate Thearletto further, there is also the detail of her hair parting, her face shape both having Theresa's full cheeks and Coalette+Neko's narrower chin, and just the overall body frame being a combination of their heights and curves.

So yes, there is a lot of problem solving when it comes to me designing the fusions. I am sure soon enough, we will get a fusion that only has those extra eyes, but we shall see~ ;3

Let’s look at the stars.

Dr. Ratio x male reader

-note, I apologize for ooc content (I’m not all too familiar with this character.)

“-immense pressures and temperatures in the star's core squeeze the nuclei of hydrogen atoms together to form helium, a process called nuclear fusion…”

Late nights spent listening to your partners current interest were quite common, you loved to hear him speak with such enthusiasm.. he was in his element and you couldn’t be more happy to be the person he chooses, time and time again, to share it with.

This time, his current studying led him to the stars. Many dumb them down to dead balls of gas, but to him they were so much more. Even if he wasn’t all that big on sentimental things, something about the stars only showing their bright beauty after dying- it moved him in a way.

The two of you laid under the stars, only giving him hums in response to assure him that you were listening. Not that you could ever get a word in, he kept explaining his findings and moving his hands outwards to point to the many constellations, the pathways, which stars had names and what they meant..

“Did you know stars don’t actually twinkle? The proper phrase for it would be scintillate, which only happens when they find themselves among the horizon..”

“Then where do you think the phrase came from?”

Glancing over at him, his lip curled into a smile at the question.. he didn’t have an answer for that, it was more of a metaphorical phrase and the ties to such a phrase would be as endless as a black hole. So, he only smiled and half-heartedly brushed off not knowing such an answer.

“Oh? The doctor doesn’t have an answer?”

The male chuckled, turning his head to look at you with a soft smile.

“Hm, although I know you ask in jest..”

You watched as he sat up, moving to hover his head just above yours.

“Let me conduct a.. study if you will..”

The love in his eyes reflected your own. Nodding, you let him instruct you.

Grabbing your hand, he held it firmly in his own and pressed it into his chest. He then instructed you to close your eyes and timed you to keep them shut for a few seconds.

“Now open..”

You felt his breathe on your lips, noses almost touching but he kept a strong gaze into your pupils.. he watched as they dilated and how they..

Twinkled.

Satisfied, he laughed to himself

“Just as I thought..”

He moved to straddle your waist, now holding both of your hands and again dipped down to closely watch your eyes and how the stars reflected in your irises.

“The term "twinkling stars" is derived from the Old English word "twincan," which means "to twinkle or blink.”

Sitting up, he found himself staring back up at the sky to observe the stars align and glancing down back to your eyes to see how the light refracted..

“This term was likely used to describe the flickering or shimmering appearance of stars in the night sky, which is caused by the Earth's atmosphere…”

Your body followed his, chests pressed against one another and arms now wrapped around his slim waist.

“Is that actually true? Or are you simply making things up again?”

He laughed, clasping your face in his hands in delight.

“It’s true dear, don’t think I didn’t account for such a question from you. I’m honestly.. quite flattered you’d think I could lie to you about such an intimate thing..”

Intimate?

“I see those gears turning, Y/n. Stars are seen as signs of affection by many people, looking up to see the same stars their loved ones are seeing or maybe even looking for their lover among them..”

His smile faltered, the gaze he held no longer as strong. You felt his lips plant themselves on you. Smiling into the kiss, he pushed you back to lay on the plush grass beneath you- hands moving to hold your neck and caress his fingers along your jaw. When he pulled away, an uncharacteristic bashful blush covered his cheeks..

“Even though my study was fruitful, and I quite enjoyed it..”

Lips met yours again, but for a small loving peck

“I must say.. I enjoy studying these ‘twinkling’ stars in your eyes much more..”

He left one more chaste kiss on your lips before sliding off of you, returning to his spot beside you.

The man would learn everything through you if he could, but to use his studying to show his adoration to you was something he’d never thought would be possible- it never crossed his mind before you came into his life.

He’d study a million stars if he got to see them in your eyes.

Reincarnated Shadows (LMK Au)

This au is pretty much. What if Mk was Macaque reincarnation. He is still born from the stone. Just now he has a fragment of Mac's soul. Mk still has his show abilities, but now Macaque's moveset as well. Unlike the show, Mk always had his shadows unlike how he slowly gains them after pulling the staff.

Of course, he doesn't have it all down, but still, he knows at the beginning that he is not fully human. Just doesn't know he's a monkey. Mk has sensitive hearing and at most times has his headphones near him.

His monkey form is like an eclipse. Six ears have different colors. Each pair has significant hearing as Macaque does. The top hears future, the middle hears present, and the bottom hears the past. Mk throughout season 1 and maybe two struggles with this. Only hearing certain foreboding information that keeps him on guard. He likes hearing past interactions with his family to relax sometimes.

The sunset staff. Mk can merge the shadow staff and Monkey King staff into one. When DBK took the staff Mk was able to summon up the shadow staff for the first time. His thoughts made the shadows form it. Now that he has two he has decided to merge them when in battle.

The smoke monster has an upgrade mixing with Mk Warform from the season 4 special. I just made a fusion of the two forms. Mk achieves this form during the events of episode 9. That makes you wonder. What would the presence of the episode Macaque even be if Mk is well Ma?.

Now well LBD still needs an champion.

Look here Macaque! What do you mean something wrong with him? Well, what do you expect if your soul is fragmented and piece of it now stuck to some dumb kid?

Macaque or Husk as my pal and I called it when creating this au is under the control of LBD. Husk's body was pulled from the grave and isn't quite complete so he is more than some mindless thrall at the moment. The only thing the former shadow master wants is to be whole again.

Episode 9 is Mk leaving to train on his own and running into a deadly foe. He summons the sunset monster to escape from the husk before Wukong can join the fight.

This au was actually made when writing "My Shadow Follows me" Just a sudden idea my Rp/Writing partner @burning-clutch thought of when we were roleplaying that story. Finally got time to draw it even if it been months since the idea was thought about.
