anyone have any recs for vpet sites with things to do rather then just have it be a pet collecting/dressup and/or breeding game? I feel like the closest one to my preferences (other than neo) would be Marapets-- but I'd rather not touch them with a thousand-foot pole.

Edit: lorwolf got reccomended! I see it has professions, i really love when sites have professions!! I'll have to check it out soon!

experiments in coloring, using some old Furvilla printouts i had lying around. i was messing around with some dead markers, using a brush and a generous little cup of alcohol to get the last bit of ink out of 'em.

they're a bit too uh... rough to try and sell on FV as actual painties lol, but i think they came out really cute so if anyone on here wants to use one, DM me and i can just send you a proper scan :)

I never really got to making skins or accents on Flight Rising but I did some painties on Furvilla. Only submitted one but I did sketch and work on a few. I think my biggest problem was that I didn't want to redraw the characters in my style, I just wanted to add things to them. But I don't know how to imitate a style. So yeah, they always just kinda fizzled out, no matter how much I loved the idea.

I wanted Karolus to be a mint and chocolate winged badger ^^

I saw others using furvilla bases on my dash and while I'm still up in the air on specifics of what I am being nonhuman to make kinsonas, if I will ever figure that out, I am also very much a furry and so have two of my fursonas so far on the bases: Adeline & Madison

I need to finish making the painties for what villagers I have that don't yet have them, but I'm still really proud of these. =D

theres also no breeding in furvilla and you only have like, options to twelve different species. if you want to upload a custom species aka a paintie, it costs actual money and is the most bullshit site ive ever laid eyes on. i don't recommend it.

furvilla is like..an online furry rpg ??? where you have furry "villagers" that can craft, battle, and raise crops and pets! its a really neat concept and it allows you to make your own "painties" where you can paint over a villager using your own art and basically have ocs on there lol. basically its furry flightrising

last i checked it was riddled with drama in the forums and i havent heard ANYTHING about it since. so idk how its doing. but i lowkey wanna check in on it

🐋 I take it you're not an artist then. It's actually normal in art spaces to ask permission to use someone else's idea, design, or even pose. And to go ahead without asking is usually grounds for getting cancelled if you're found out haha

As far as pet sites, it's also normal actually. Furvilla also was pretty tight about copyright and was very much against making your paintie (a customizable pet) something too close to something that already exists/ copyrighted without permission.

And I'm not even going to get into the whole fiasco involving Toyhouse or Artfight and how they are about kinsonas and CBCs.

Not arguing for or against the practice, just saying that yeah. It actually is far more normal than you seem to think.

Has anyone uploaded a paintie of their original character which they use for fetish purposes? How did that go, did they get attacked, did no one care? I've considered returning to FurVilla and I wish to upload my sona, but there's a lot of fetish art of them around and it wouldn't be hard to find (and it's all properly tagged so you shouldn't see it unless you knowingly do it), so I'm wondering if people are chill or if I'll get cancelled because God forbid an adult has a fetish.
