I absolutely love the fact that as a furry I can use my fursonas to explore feelings and thoughts that I'm not sure if I want to own up to. I was looking through my old sketchbooks and thinking of my little lore for them earlier, and I realized that all I was doing when I made them up was just making parts of me into separate folks and having them interact to work through thought processes I was having internally. Like, my oldest fursona Vio, also named after what I was gonna name myself at first (but their first name was originally based off my deadname), represented who I thought younger me was like in hindsight as I got older, and as I first explored my gender her gender adapted to match. My second, Ice, was mainly an accident, but I ended up making him as a voice of reason for Vio, just like how I was developing a sense of social awareness during that time and was grappling with finding a balance between that and what I wanted to do. And I've been using my newest fursona, BJ, to explore my current gender and therianthropy as well as feelings of how I want to dress and act now that I'm at college. And for a long time I found it weird how I couldn't just have one fursona, but I think that's because how my fursonas interact lets me process my thoughts and come to terms with stuff in a way that expressing things all internally just doesn't. And I think that's stupid cool!!

knuckles refers to himself as "knuckles echidna", which probably wasn't an intentional reference to satam/underground sonic being "sonic hedgehog" but i appreciated it

I'll attach some examples of furries I've drawn in the past but I really need the practice because I'm having a hard time coming up with any furry designs of my own.

The first image (Mittens) is the only furry I've designed and it's not that interesting lol, the second and third (the raccoon fursona and the blue and orange fursona) are my most recent examples of furry artwork and the remaining 3 are much older works from a time period where I drew furries pretty often.

BARRET WALLACE: He deserves so much better. Just, in general. Why did they do that to his character in Advent Children (rhetorical question; we all know the answer.). Actually I think we should just get rid of all of SE's intellectual properties and just have Only Barret.

TIFA LOCKHART: Oh my god. If I had known about Tifa Lockhart as a highly impressionable 5 year old, I would have grown up to be cisgender. I'm gonna leave that one up to interpretation.

AERITH GAINSBOROUGH: Weird girl. Incomprehensible girl. Unnerving girl. Girl who makes you want to become a girl. Girl who I love dearly forever. Aerith is love, Aerith is life.

RED XIII: Lowkey the saddest character in the game. He's just a lonely child, he's already had everything taken from him, he's trying so hard to hold it together. Hang in there Nanaki :(

YUFFIE KISARAGI: I like how they handled her in FF7R, bridging the gap between two very different audience's impressions of her. Boy is she disruptive in some of Rebirth's scenes though. Super curious how part 3 and the Wutai war thing will go down.

CAIT SITH: Middle aged businessman's gambling-addicted fursona by proxy is hands down the funniest concept for a JRPG party member. I want to love him so bad, but I can't take him seriously for the life of me because every scene he shows up in suffers from severe mood whiplash.

VINCENT VALENTINE: I see the appeal. I'm admittedly less invested in the vampiric sexy snatched-waist, and more in the technologically-hamfisted out-of-touch grandpa aspect of his character.

CID HIGHWIND: This man is NOT 32 years old. His asshole-ishness and cartoonishly vulgar dialogue is very important to me and I hope they don't water him down too severely in part 3. ESRB please, please let him say Fuck just once. please

So I got surprise billed ridiculous amounts for just refills on medications on two separate visits. while not having insurance and still jobless outside of commission work and streaming when well.

My Goal is 400 USD. I have savings that total roughly about 25% of my goal. However, my savings and earnings from streaming has been towards a new computer due to mine beginning to fail. That is a separate issue and can see about getting help for a replacement unlike medical as of late. I can also confirm my medication will be paid for due to those I live with. So this is JUST a pair of bills, one being during August as I had no access to emergency funds outside of medications.

I have roughly 3 months (90 days) to see if Medicaid will be approved with the help of a social worker I am in contact with. However, I am worried they will not cover my bills due to being ONLY refills and not emergencies.

I will take coffees on Ko-fi alongside for those that are more on my artist front of social media. I would really appreciate being supported through reblogging my commissions sales and streaming posts on @kinshipguild as well. I stream my art, doodles, gaming and more. I have been working back into streaming regularly alongside.

Just went on Instagram to look at more DR art (because tumblr won't let me see a lot of DR art for some reason) and saw hinanami discourse out in the wild which made me say, out loud, "oh, are we still doing this 💀"

Like idk if I've just aged out of the fandom (on Instagram) but just seeing that hinanami rant made me realize I've been spoiled by the DR community on Tumblr bc I'll scroll on here for 2 minutes and see a text post that will literally SHIFT my entire view of a character/ship and CHANGE my LIFE in just a small analysis that was probably written by op while they were on the toilet💀

Anyway it made me think of the post about Maki and Chappel Roan that I actually recited by memory out loud to my friend last night [gooning over wlw content together after watching Muriel's Wedding], And also that one post abt Monomi and Monokuma being Junko's satire of her own rivalry with Mukuro, and Junko not liking that her friends don't appreciate her fursona doing stand-up 💀💀 and like compare that to Instagram discourse and it's like "Komahina is stupid bc hinata isn't straight" like 💀

Anyway maybe it was the same on tumblr before [it probably definitely was] but now that I'm older I'm really appreciating mature convos/takes about danganronpa because good fanfiction/fanart/fan interpretations are truly adapting the story+characters in much better ways than the creators could ever imagine circa 2010 [pointy objects] [peaches and cream] [anything w/autistic nagito] [anything w/transmasc hajime]

number one rule of modern fandom experience (at the very least with media that has a propensity to draw Certain Crowds [looking especially hard at danganronpa and p5]) is CURATE YOUR OWN SPACE AND STRAY NO FARTHER ‼️‼️‼️ i personally escaped the early era dr fandom (pre v3 localization/the 2019 Danganronpa Renaissance) but time capsule posts tell me i dodged something of a bullet there ❤️ in that vein 2019/2020/covid era discourse was still crazy insane (<- was a part of it for sure LMFAO) but it had a much different Flavor than it did way back when. and the same is true of present-day: still a little kooky if you search hard enough (insta/tiktok/twitter/tumblr all have their own demons). but at least This go around i have largely avoided that by picking my people that i trust not to be Weird and just living in my own bubble wrt the dr fandom at large. and thats served me very well the past year+ since i got back into dr <3 and i have also seen MANY of those perspective-altering posts in that little curation circle that has deepened and made better my experience THE GOOD IS OUT THERE ‼️‼️‼️

THE JUNKO FURSONA POST ALSO LIVES IN MY BRAIN its so real and just one of many takes i’ve seen fly by in a post and been like This is so real and it’s mine now. many such cases <3 i follow people like that and simply block people expending energy on discourse i DOOOOOONT care about. like simply enjoy kmha (I SURE DO ‼️‼️‼️) if you like it and ignore hnmi/kmnmi if you dont (cant relate I LOVE YOU TOO HINANAMI + KOMANAMI ‼️‼️‼️) and live your life happy not angry ❤️

like re: maki lesbianism (which was written on the toilet no lie) she is The most lesbian of all time i could write 10,000 scholarly articles on her comphet + traumatic past of being made to hurt people keeping her from fully coming to terms with herself as a lesbian and as someone who wants to Protect the people she loves (an integral pillar of butchness!!!!!!!!) and it is so important to me. and MANY people disagree! and i simply just dont worry about it <3 but i DO think about the people that agree (and the people who i Influence to agree…..that makes me so happy to hear you talking about it with people :D) and that makes fandom FUN!!!!! not arguing over word of god or whatever that isn’t going to change anyone’s opinions anyway 😭

there is a LOOOOOT of good discussion and character/scene analysis and genuinely fun unique takes on tumblr (+ im sure other places but i rly only interact with dr on her & Occasionally by liking a twt post on my main) and that’s where i’ve made my niche <3 people having fun with the media they enjoy and trying to salvage its shortcomings and missteps because they love it!!

At long last I have finally managed to complete a little something for a good friend o mine ^w^ This is Keirajo's fursona Wabi :3 He looks like someone just did something nice for him, maybe it was a compliment or maybe they done him a favour. I'll leave that up to my friend if she wants UwU I might also include a backgroundless version too! Tbh it makes me happy when people include the personality of their ocs and sonas when I give them art of their characters, cos it helps give me ideas of what kind of poses and expressions I could give their characters when I draw them ^w^ I like to draw art in a way that matches the character's personality, so I hope this is accurate for you Keirajo :3 I also hope I got the design right, if there's any mistakes she can let me know ofcourse UwU I wasn't sure what kinda outfit to go for so hopefully this nicely coloured pink and blue kimono type thing is okay. I read this character likes to wear pretty coloured clothing so I went with that kind of idea ^-^ It both took us quite some time to do the trade but it was well worth it because both results on both ends turned out amazing and I'm super greatful for my part too ^w^ I will admit I was pretty nervous incase I was taking too long but Keirajo was super understanding which I appreciate and I'm thankful for her support :3 I guess I kinda worry alot ehheh.. ^-^; I should probs try 'n' relax more fogifugoifrigdujgifdugiofd oh and my bestie Wolfypoof and I have a collaboration in progress too I'll get around to finishing that at some point, and I gotta go to a convention on february too so there's that too :o Wabi is Keirajo's fursona and belongs to her.
