building in the sims really does make you understand how you get nonsensical floorplans in real life.
because you end up in situations where youre like oh my god this is the perfect floorpla-... okay is it weird if the door to balcony in the bathroom? or when you find a perfect configuration of rooms but oops where do i put the doors? how bad is it if you have to go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom?
big squares are the worst to floorplan because where do you start? where do i put stairs? where does a kitchen make sense? why did i put windows there?

i know my neighbors are tired of my apt sounding like a barbershop every night
#that’s the long distance marriage living alone chronicles ladies and baybees#this and a blunt ! except i don’t do drugs so the blunt has been rolled w cookie crumbs#things are going well. the first 2 months (july n august) of this moving cross country journey were the most stressful of my life to the#point where i discovered one white hair each in july and august when i can count on one hand the amount of white hairs i’ve had in my life#things are beginning to turn around. ish. i think. i hope! it’s mostly money stress bc i went from living w family and not paying rent#or bills (ya ya sorry) to the complete opposite. and my salary is pretty good but it’s such an adjustment when i’ve been sheltered for so#long in that way. on top of that paying outstanding medical bills so the past 2 months have been inch resting! i still am adjusting but i#see a light at the end of the tunnel. i miss my husband :( if he was here everything would be perfect#when my shits paid off and my apartment is furnished i’m going ham on some new bags#going to eat a lil cookie and watch a lil true crime on yt. gnight tumbly friends#mine

you guys have nooooo idea how crazy this moving period has been november was CRAZYYYYY literally all three of us are going insane from all the shit going on ever since we found the new place
#basically we were supposed to move in last week but then the landlord was like. hey i need to do some reno first you can move in next week#anyways in those two weeks (the one when we were supposed to move in + up to now) so much has happened with the current ONE AND THE NEW ONE#the toilet broke down and flooded the bathroom so we had to get that fixed#then the OVEN SHORT CIRCUITED BC THERES STH WRONG W THE ELECTRIC SOCKET and we decided not to deal w that#so for the past week weve been using my induction stove i brought w me when i moved out of the dorm#on top of that the landlord of the new apartment is dead set on installing a window in the bathroom BUT the guy whos supposed to do that#keeps postponing it bc shit keeps popping up thus preventing him to do his thing#ALSO since furnishing the new place + the rent for the 1st few months ride on grandma selling her house in the countryside#murphys law applied to THAT too. for her to finalize the sale she needs moms signature and all so she went back to our hometown to do it#and there she found out that they wrote her information wrong in the registry which means that now they have to deal with THA#and before the weekend nonetheless... but the lawyer sorting that mess out is apparently technologically illiterate#AND OUGH. everything is soooooooo stressfullllllllllllllll#anyways .. vent over <3#piksla.txt

I'm now convinced the most evil people on the planet are my landlady and landlord
#so basically#my moms friends live in a bad house#not like old house#like cockroaches scurrying through the walls and floors and smell of cigarettes wafting from their neighbors house bad#they in a bad financial situation and the bugs just wont disappear#so mom called the landlady and asked if rhey could move to the apartment above ours#she was like sure they can#and today mom asked her for the key and she was was 'oh the key is with my son he's in another country rn'#and was mom was like 'YOU don't have a key then'#and she was like no#and she was like 'btw rent is xxxx' (way way more than moms friends can afford) and they're gonna have to pay their electricity bills#mind you#mom told her about their situation and the apartment is furnished#so paying for electricity on top of that (it's VERY expensive here and the weather easily hits 40⁰C)#it's just heartless#to top it all#moms friends were gonna move in tomorrow#they were so excited to move from that horrid place#and our landlord would happily charge them three times what oue landlady chose#they pretend to be 'reasonable' and 'understanding'#they're literally own like four villas and twelve cars.#it would not kill you to charge less for people who aren't even gonna stay long anyway#fuck landlords#☁️posts
