„I can’t believe you dragged me along to this”, you huffed out in annoyance.

“Love and Light! Namaste! Welcome!”

A woman dressed in boho chic handed you a flyer, ushering you into the venue. In here, it smelled like patchouli and false promises.

“What? We need this”, your best friend encouraged you, clearly brainwashed by all those delulu videos she has seen.

“No, we don’t?”, you snapped at her.

“Just get in, y/n”, she pushed you while rolling her eyes.

The venue was filled with girls - various girls that were desperately seeking for love. You took a good glance at them, wondering how pathetic you had to be to come here voluntarily.

“Girls, listen up. I salute you”, the boho chic lady started preaching emotionally.

“You’ve been through it all. The games, the lies, the heartbreak. Each time you let down your walls and really opened up to someone, you got let down. Abandoned. Rejected. Cheated on!”

The crowd was agreeing, everybody was shaking their heads and wiping away tears.

Her tone was condescending, irking you the wrong way.

“You don’t need my help?”, her eyes pierced through you. Her menacing vibe made you feel uneasy, your hands started to shake.

“I was just joking. You wouldn’t be here if you were already partnered with the love of your life”, she mocked.

The crowd started laughing, agreeing with the condescending leader.

“Does she think she’s better than us?”

“No wonder she’s single.”

You felt the rage bubbling up inside of you, even though she was right. You were single, you always were. But still – why was she talking to you like that? And why were the others agreeing with her?

As you felt the rage building, a tall, mysterious stranger stepped forward from the crowd. His piercing gaze met yours as he spoke up confidently: “Actually, she might not need your help because she already has me.”

A surprised smile crossed your face as you locked eyes with this unexpected encounter, intrigued by the possibility of finding love in the unlikeliest of places.

The crowd fell silent, too shocked by this revelation. Even the boho lady watched in surprise, cursing herself for messing this up.

“This is your boyfriend?”, she finally said out loud.

Was this mysterious stranger your boyfriend? Hell, no. But whatever he was, you were drawn to him like a moth to the flame. You found yourself drawn to his enigmatic presence, curious to learn more about him and the connection that seemed to have sparked between you.

“Yeah”, you muttered.

“I told you I didn’t need this”, you spat triumphantly.

The boho lady pursed her lips, trying to conceal her anger. You made your way to him, stretching out your hand while flashing him your loveliest smile.

“Wanna go?”

His cheeks reddened, only slightly. You felt yourself smiling – God, he was cute. You took another glance at him. He was handsome as the devil. Sweet as honey. Taller than you. His eyes golden, warm and inviting. A killer smile, enticing you to run away with him.
