(39) None of them handle horror games very well.

Hearts wings and hair puff up to twice their size like a studio ghibli character.

Mind blue screens because he can’t outwardly show that he’s scared, that’d hurt his ego too much. Even if it’s very obvious when he does it.

Soul usually falls off of chairs/jumps and his void part gets all spikey. He’s so tall and lanky I can imagine him hitting something on the desk by accident.

I think it’d be cool if either Mind or Soul narrated whatever was happening in games so Heart can be included. It can vary depending on their understanding of the game, and opens doors for arguments because no! Soul that is NOT a furry it’s an animatronic. They both suck at it regardless though. Mind usually goes nonverbal and Soul gets bored easily and doesn’t take it seriously.

Heart’s smelled just a little bit like dirt ever since he was let out of apathy. Not bad, just like the soil he was surrounded by.

It’s faint. Mind and Soul could be sitting next to him at a meal, or on the couch watching a movie, and not smell a thing. It’s those times during concord when they’re truly close - hugs, etc. they breathe in and catch a hint of earth. And they wonder for a second why, and then they remember. They’ve spent so much time reconciling and making progress and moving forward and things are better and things are alright but. They still remember. The scars are still there. The things they did in cacophony still happened. And the scent of soil will never fully leave him.

It haunts Soul and Mind. They can try to forget but every time they’re getting along and they can finally feel the comforting warmth of each other knowing they’re all safe. They get too close to him and they can smell it. They can smell what they did and they pretend it’s all fine in the hopes not to remind Heart. But they know. And he knows too.
