Vessel Kevin funfacts !!

1 - He was originally just a one off redesign of possessed Kevin I made before I got into the fandom, I really looked at this fucker

And I said, “erm,, his colors don’t match kevin” no duh, thats Moloch possessing Kevin

2 - The reason he doesn’t have hooves like Moloch is when I drew him I just completely forgot Moloch had hooves and was too proud of the claw designs to change it

Come on I ate with those claws

3 - When designing Vessel I also just used a reference of shiny Sylveon which wasn’t needed at all but was there, you can probably only notice me do something vaguely related on the ear patterns and color picking choices

4 - Vessel has lore to how Moloch is still alive in him, how this works is the idea that the demon can split itself between hosts. As seen when it possesses Skid and Pump

So taking that idea, whats the limit it can split? Kevin also didn’t get the cross treatment, only haphazardly getting splashed by holy water unlike everyone else. A part of Moloch could be weakened and hidden inside (in the case of Vessel)

Of course this idea could be changed if I ever wanted to make this guy an original demon which i a huge possibility. Like the idea that Kevin has been weakened and now easy to take over. But for now Vessel is Moloch, a dormant demon who is trying to recoup after the priest took out the majority of him

5 - Vessel looks like normal Kevin on any regular day, he dawns the monster look in stressful or dire situations

6 - Kevin had gained a habit of absentmindedly chewing things, his teeth sharper than normal and he feels the need to bite. So he takes the habit of Lolipops or gum

7 - Definitely still has that cat energy like Moloch, I even decided to give some fluff to him. Mf will claw and bite the shit out of you like a menace cat.

8 - When the host is hopeless Moloch can temporarily take full control even while he’s in the middle of healing himself.. though this is short lives since he’s still trying to recover. This can be seen if I even finish a part two to the candy club fight. Kevin lunges at the cult leader and nearly tears him apart.

9 - Vessel is not a fan of cultists lol, Moloch also hates all of their guts

-Everyone has their original personalities, they're just super pissed at Chris

-Out of everyone, Shawn took his death the hardest because he thinks he's becoming a zombie

-Ella still tries to bond with Sugar and she absolutely despises it

-Jasmine was mad at Shawn for accidentally pushing her into the water. She said that she could've died if her leg got caught on something. She was super on edge at the time and forgave him the minute she realized she was going to die.

-Sky wishes she could've told Dave what happened to her.

-Shawn is TERRIFIED of Scarlett. Mainly because she wants Chris's brain.

-Leonard kind of keeps to himself. Sometimes Sugar visits him but Leonard rarely notices her because of Sugar's inability to speak.

-Everyone is pissed at Topher for giving Chris a second chance. Shawn bit him one time.

-One time, Shawn, Sugar, and Sky kidnapped Chris and tied him up. Sugar made the suggestion to eat him and Sky got annoyed. Shawn freaked out. He eventually escaped as they quarrled.

My contribution for the hazbin hotel hype is telling you, that the German dub fucking rocks.

We are normally pretty good with dubs in live action but when it comes to animated series it’s a 50/50 if it’s total shit or a banger. But I am glad to report this one’s the latter.

My only critique would be Angel dusts singing voice. They got two different actors for speaking and singing and his singing voice sounds wierd to me. Every other cast member sings themselves so I‘m a little sad Angel doesn’t. BUT Funfact. His German voice actor is the guy who normally speaks Jeremy Jordan’s roles. So now that we have Jeremy as another character, I‘m very interested to see who they cast for him in the German dub

Ever noticed that Boyd has a unique patch of his T/5 insignia?

Unlike the others, his looks like it was hand-sewn and probably made it himself, too.

I also once read that soldiers had to sew the patches on to the uniforms themselves.... what could explain why Grady has no Pfc. insignia on his jacket.
