Cakesicles, also known as cake pop popsicles, are just like cake pops but better! These scrumptious little treats can be made using any cake flavor (boxed or homemade) and with this full tutorial and all of my tips, your cakesicles will come out perfect each time!

⁠👩‍🍳 Something a little different with the low carb cookie mix!⁠ ⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ - 160g Low Carb Cookie mix (½ packet)⁠ - 40g (2TB almond meal)⁠ - 40g desiccated coconut⁠ - Teaspoon sweetener of choice.⁠ - 70g melted butter⁠ - 125ml milk of choice⁠ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ Filling:⁠ One batch of Low Carb Icing - Made as per pack⁠ Chia Jam - Made as per recipe online. ⁠ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ I recommend making the Icing and the Jam first - saves a bit of time.⁠ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ 💗 Recipe makes 28 single cookies. ⁠ (depending on size of cookie cutter)⁠ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ Method:⁠ ⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ - Preheat oven at 160g degrees⁠ - Combine dry mix into a bowl - Cookie mix, almond meal and coconut⁠ - Combine the melted butter and milk, and add to the dry mixture.⁠ - In between 2 sheets of baking paper roll out the cookie dough to approx 5mm thin and cut out your cookies and place on lined tray⁠ - Bake for 12-15mins or until golden and allow to cool on rack⁠.⁠ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠ 💗 Once they've chilled, add the filling and sandwich them together. Tablespoon Biscuits! The Three Beans LOVE to bake and this tablespoon biscuit recipe we found on @twinklresources was fantastic! It’s so easy to follow. The children loved that they could follow the recipe completely by themselves, without any help from a grown-up. (Though I did help them with the oven!) The results were super tasty! Our biscuits were made with gluten-free flour too and it worked just fine (I added in a quarter teaspoon of xanthan gum to stop them crumbling) We made our biscuits in the shape of stars as we’ve been learning all about Space, following on from National Space Day last week...I’m sure they’d be just as tasty whatever shape you make them though! We also chose to decorate them with some bright icing and sprinkles but, having tried a plain one (for test purposes only 😉 obviously!) I can also confirm that they’re also yummy without the added sugar rush! Late post of how my babka turned out. Firstly, threw in bread flour instead of plain flour (wasn’t thinking), then instead of usually chocolate and nuts I added raisins, orange zest and cocoa powder, finally brushed in orange blossom syrup.
