I have an actual lore theory for how Deadpool & Wolverine ties into the main MCU timeline both in the present and the future

if it IS Loki’s idea to bring Deadpool into the MCU, he’s FOR SURE gonna be one of the main villains for the next phase.

My theory is that Loki wants to bring Wade into his universe solely in hopes of them joining forces to cause chaos, and to take over Earth or whatever his queer heart desires.

But little does Loki know that his plan already backfired bc of what happens after Deadpool 3’s events, cuz now it’s resulted in Wade bringing LOGAN into the MCU as well, and their old man yaoi relationship keeps the both of them mentally stable and good-hearted. Once Loki finds this out, I’m positive he’s gonna try to break the couple up somehow in future MCU movies.

(I’m hyping myself up at this point becaUSE OH MY GOD. ID FUCKING KILL FOR A LOKI/WADE/LOGAN INTERACTION SCENE. Like imagine Loki either tries to convince both of them to join his side or kidnaps one of them (preferably Logan) and the other has to save him in space. I bet it’s one of Wade’s nonsexual fantasies to save Logan from villains like a damsel in distress (but he’s the Wolverine, so everyone’s already dead by the time Wade arrives lol)

THIS ALSO COULD TIE INTO WHY THOR WAS CRYING. cuz yea it’s played out as a running gag in Deadpool 3, but now i have two ideas for how this scene plays into the plot in the future:

- First, this confirms that Wade and Thor will meet and become friends ;) but either Thor doesn’t know wade has regeneration abilities OR they both make their own secret plan to take Loki down.

- So the crying scene is either Loki in disguise as Deadpool, and he’s manipulating his brother that his new friend is dying in front of him, OR Wade and Thor are reenacting Loki’s sacrifice for a specific purpose- or for shits n giggles (either is completely true and accurate to their characters hdkgnsskgns)

Animation made by someone who has taken a lot of psychedelics

Comic/graphic novel drawn by someone who has taken a lot of psychedelics and stimulants

Film adaptation with a budget of £500 (mostly allocated to facepaint, cloaks, and a really shitty camera), filmed mostly if not entirely in someone’s basement, starring and directed by a group of 20-30 year olds who are genuinely not well

So like, imagine this. It's the first big family reunion after COVID restrictions let up, your family took a few years to all get vaccinated, ect. Your kid is 6, so they weren't old enough to take to the last one, this is the first time they're meeting some of these more distant relatives. So you introduce them to Uncle Mike, and you say "This is Uncle Mike. He thinks you're so small and delicious, and that it'd be so easy to pick you up and throw you at the nearest wall and break all your bones." If that 6 year old then power kicks uncle Mike in the nuts and runs away screaming, whose fault is that?

So this post is about Doctor Who. The patron unknowable Eldritch entity of your country has just spent an entire afternoon telling you that the universe is full of things that are stronger and bigger than you, and a lot of them will happily blenderize your planet for a bit of rocket fuel, or eat all of you for a big Sunday brunch. And he's letting that ship full of slavers happily fly away to tell the entire galaxy about your tiny planet's existence. You are an animal, your empathy and reason only extends to the boundaries of what you can understand, and the Doctor has just told you that the vast majority of the galaxy sees you as prey. Me, personally? I'm with Harriet, I wouldn't stand a chance in that situation, I'd 100% take that shot.

All I'm saying is that if the Doctor wanted to foster empathy, they probably shouldn't have started with enthusiastically explaining how cleverly the aliens were going to coerce them into slavery, especially not to a woman who grew up in Britain as it rebuilt itself from the blitz in a post-nazi Europe

I also think the word “parallels” needs to be taken away from some people because first of all, half the things you’re referring to as parallels aren’t even parallels, and second of all, the parallels you’ve connected in ur heads are not the grand evidence of something you simply wanted to happen being “meant to happen” or heaven forbid “guaranteed to happen” you think they are. And finally, it is not bad writing when a parallel you’ve fully made up never comes to fruition in the way you wanted it to.

Jack was thoroughly rattled. Her head spun a bit as she was shaken but she did not once let go of the sparkly orb despite his demands. Her claws instead pop out of their sheathes to curl around the smooth surface even further, body instinctively curling up and tightening around her prize even though she was now being scruffed in the same way her parents often held her.

[“W-Whazzit matter who you are?”] Fur still standing, this time her whole little frame puffed up due to his ferocious roar and creepy appearance, but her parents didn't raise no coward! Sure he was scary! But the need of a brand new sparkly object for her personal stash outweighed her common sense at this very moment and her baser instincts peeked out. [“I bet I'm a way better thief than you anyways! So Put. Me. Down!”] She hisses at him again even as her frame trembles in his hold. Despite the fear she glares right back at him and squirms furiously keeping her forearms wrapped tightly around the orb while her legs lowered and she began to kick and scramble in the air.

["I'm not playin! This is my treasure! I spotted it! You snooze you lose fake theif! Nyeeeh!”] Jack tauntingly sticks out her tongue, followed by the slightest twitch of her curled tail. It's also the only warning the kitten gives before her fur begins to stand even further on end, a loud crackling sound fills the air. Bright yellow sparks briefly jump off the curly brown tip of her appendage then disappear and within seconds Jack surrounds both herself and the stranger in a wall of electricity in an attempt to get him to drop her.

thinking about the way that netflix ended things, alina and mal don’t end up together. after everything they fought through, it only served to draw them apart. it wasn’t enough. they didn’t meet each other again in the meadow. they didn’t live a life full of ordinary things. now, they’re little more than strangers to each other. not soulmates.

fall guy brain rot time !!!!!!! i was wondering why i enjoyed this more than free guy despite me thinking objectively free guy's plot has less holes in it so i do consider the plot objectively better, but then i realized like fall guy just feels so much more sincere to me. every aspect of it is coated in this love for film and tv making and the medium as a whole

Kiryu's trying so hard to be a good dad for all of his kids while Kazama very clearly only favored Kiryu. Do I think this was an intentional writing decision? Probably not but it's interesting

intentional or not, its a good perspective and helps explain why kiryu Is Like That. especially if we want to look at the case of nishiki who was given too much power before he was ready to handle it (and around the same age as daigo too if not a little younger), kiryu wants to make sure daigo doesnt similarly crumble under that pressure that nishiki did. we know nishiki's death haunts him for at least five games after the fact- it's no wonder he's so hyperfocused on making sure it doesn't happen again

the problem lies in that, just like kazama to nishiki, kiryu was the reason why daigo got that much power in such a short amount of time anyway. we know he acknowledges this, which is probably why he tries so hard for the tojo despite wanting to distance himself from the yakuza world. kazama did the bare minimum- if anything- for nishiki. and while we know kiryu respected kazama immensely, i want to hope over the years he's realized that leaving a young man in a powerful position unprepared isn't a good idea, esp after mine rubbed salt in the wound and called him out for abandoning the tojo- ergo daigo, so now he especially feels like he has to make it up to him.

if he couldn't help nishiki, then the next best thing he can do is help someone he considers his son- as if trying to right the wrong kazama did and be a better father, whether he can admit or not to kazama failing to take care of nishiki

but the follow up problem to THAT is he's neglecting his other kids when he does go to help. it wouldnt be a problem if RGG remembered the ryudo family and they could watch the kids while he's gone or something, but since they don't we just have to assume haruka's unfortunately been left to act as big sister to all these kids, and THAT has undoubtedly bred a great burden of feeling responsible when she's only a kid. it's really unfortunate that while kiryu apologizes to daigo repeatedly, he never apologizes to haruka for leaving her alone and in charge so many times (i actually thought kiryu's letter in Y6 was supposed to go to haruka at first). it's made her feel as though she has to take care of everyone and she has to be the strong one for the family when kiryu's away, and because of that we get problems like Y5 and Y6

in all of this, and in a terrible twist of irony, in trying to prevent one of his loved ones from enduring a similar fate as nishiki, he's now jeopardizing his relationship with his other kids- he's now unintentionally putting haruka on the back burner because he's so traumatized over what happened to his brother. he might have prevented another nishiki situation, but haruka had to be collateral as a result
