I finished the first season of Good Omens this morning, and I have not felt such a warmth and happiness for a piece of media in so long. I absolutely love it, and I'll start the second season today ^^

The S1 finale had me giddy and excited, and every moment was better than the last. I can't wait to see where S2 will take me, and I'm sure I'm not ready, but I'm going anyway lmao.

anyone else remember this weird little show that toon disney used to air back in the nineties?? inside out focused on the lives of the emotions inside the mind of thirteen-year-old riley andersen, as they worked together to guide her through each day. while essentially just being a workplace comedy, the show quickly garnered praise from critics and fans alike for its unique premise, strong and relatable characters, and positive messaging on emotional regulation for its young audience.

at first, it looked like the show was going to become a staple saturday morning cartoon. season 2 even added four new emotions to the original cast of five! unfortunately, it seemed like disney had other plans. clocking in at 52 episodes, inside out only managed to reach around half of the golden standard of 100 episodes for rerun syndication before it abruptly got cancelled. the reason why has been the subject of speculation in hundreds of online forum threads over the past thirty or so years. but who knows! if we drum up some more conversation about it, maybe we can get a reboot!!

But when he does find out, it'll be a brief period of normalcy where he's just like the old Johnny but almost immediately after that, it'll be ruined by his own paranoia. I think he'd spiral. Refuse to sleep. Just stays perched on a chair in front of the door, shotgun over his lap. Watching. Waiting. Probably thinks Makarov is after him. Is very overbearing. Doesn't let her move from the bed. Pampers her. Is utterly obsessed and devoted, but kinda stressed about sin and Catholic guilt for conceiving out of wedlock (even though I just know he convinced Nik to get ordained so he can marry them as soon as he touches down).

But this would probs endear him to Doe. Finding out what happened, watching him take vigil for the unlikely threat that might hurt her and their baby. It'll soften her up, I think (in a very manipulative way).
