I know it's a huge step considering how fast things have been developing for them and I understand he still needs time to adjust to their new relationship in general so I'm not expecting for it to happen too soon, I just wanted to know if you've considered it?<3

They'd have to be working towards claiming for it to really work. Gotta be in that courtship kind of phase like the reader and Price were in at the beginning. Kneeling isn't something omegas can just do for alphas (they can be forced to in a way but that's not true kneeling).

If she had to, she probably could, but it wouldn't be as impactful as it would with that kind of desire to mate and be claimed tied in.

i like to think to think that there's a period of time post canon where neil fully loses himself and goes into a sort of catatonic state bc he's just been granted his life and now doesn't know how to accept that. like this kid has spent the past 19 years with death right at his heels and now he doesn't know how to live without it. maybe he resorts to doing what he does best; he goes on runs, he buries himself in exy practices, he pushes and pushes just so he has something to do until he burns out. andrew saw this coming, recognized the signs, let neil exhaust himself until he was empty and hollow. he knows neil has always wanted to live but maybe neil is thinking he doesn't deserve to, maybe he's burning himself to the ground as some sort of punishment (misplaced guilt and faulty martyr complex for people who have long been dead). when it all comes to a halt and neil spends the better part of a week in bed, andrew stays beside him, makes sure he eats. kevin doesn't quite understand, but he keeps him updated on all things exy. maybe neil misses death like a lover or a limb. he knows the moriyamas could still kill him but he's never had this much breathing room and all this oxygen is making him dizzy. it'll pass, everything does, it's just tough for a little while
