need more characters with fragile egos and not just in the sense that like. they’re insecure but the sense that their ego and self worth are malleable to their outside environment. they should be greatly upset at any margin of criticism or failure yeah but they should also be riding high for a week from just a semblance of praise from a person they look up to or greatly need the approval of. characters who r very very reactionary to their environment and the way it can show their relationship or lack thereof with other characters, how well they r at hiding this, etc.
