Favorite roles: Xiangling from Genshin Impact, Nika Aoi from Beyblade Burst Turbo, and Kei from AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline.

Happy 30th anniversary, Power Rangers! (Premiere date: August 28, 1993)

The Power Rangers franchise has been a part of my childhood since I got exposed to it through Samurai, even though its source material, Super Sentai, is better in my opinion.

Happy 5th anniversary, Total DramaRama! (Premiere date: September 1st, 2018)

Though this spin-off of the Total Drama franchise is very controversial, Its still one of my favorite shows in that series for its off-the-walls humor

Happy 10th anniversary, Uncle Grandpa! (Premiere date: September 1st, 2013)

Despite its initial rocky reception, many have warmed up to the show for its comedy, absurdness, and its titular character being credited as the "survivor" of the HBO Max (now called Max) purge.

Happy posthumous 50th birthday, Jason David Frank! (Birthdate: September 4th, 1973)

Though JDF is no longer with us, his legacy and likeliness will forever be a part of us. May he rest in peace.

Happy 25th anniversary, Oggy and The Cockroaches! (Premiere date: September 6, 1998)

One of my favorite French cartoons when I was younger, having a formula akin to Tom and Jerry but with the title character winning most of the time. Truly a classic from Xilam.

And finally, I present you 20th anniversary of Hoops & Yoyo!

(yes I know the actual release date for the cards is September 11th, but I really don't want to be insensitive during that day)

Initially starting as Hallmark greeting cards before becoming a web cartoon and eventually a franchise, Hoops & Yoyo has been a personal favorite to some due to its simplistic artstyle, the titular characters plus Piddles being adorable creatures with lovable personalities, and its vibrant setting. I have to admit, Bob Holt and Mike Adair really deserve the appreciation they got when creating this line of cards.

Maesetsu, presentato il cast dell’anime

L’originale serie animata da Studio Gokumi e AXsiZ andrà in onda nel 2020.

Il sito ufficiale di “Maesetsu!” (Maesetsu!: Opening Act) si è aggiornato rivelando il cast dell’originale serie animata prodotta da Kadokawa e ideata da Mugendai∞, che andrà in onda nel corso del prossimo anno e seguirà delle giovani coppie di cabarettiste in erba. 

Per il concept design è stato coinvolto nel progetto Kagami Yoshimizu, l’autore della popolare commedia slice of life “Lucky Star”, il quale ora si sta occupando di una versione manga 4-koma dell’anime.

Nel cast troviamo inoltre Risako Murai, Seirou Ogino, Kentarou Tone e Rei Shimoda. 

Nello staff al lavoro presso Studio Gokumi (Yuki Yuna è un’eroina, Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood) e AXsiZ (Seiren, Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles), troviamo alla regia Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet, Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai). La sceneggiatura è scritta da Touko Machida (The iDOLM@STER, Show By Rock!!) assieme a Shouta Gotou e Atsushi Itou (Nichijou). Il character design è curato da Katsuzou Hirata (Angel Beats!, Ben-To), mentre il comparto animazioni è supervisionato da Masaru Koseki (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles, Demon King Daimao) e da Naoki Yamauchi.

Love Live! Series Ayumu Uehara VA Aguri Onishi Releases Her 2nd Solo Single on August 4

    At her online birthday event streamed on May 2, voice actress Aguri Onishi announced that her double A-side second single "Elder flower/Hatsukoi Colors" is set to be released on August 4, 2021. The former will be featured as the ED theme for the summer 2021 TV anime Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles, and it will be her first anime theme song work as a solo singer.  

  After working as a child actress, she became one of the finalists of the 13th All Japan Bishoujo Contest in 2012 and formed an idol group X21 along with the other finalists in the following year. The group finished its activities in five years, then Onishi made her voice actress debut in 2017. Her well-known anime characters include Ayumu Uehara in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (2020) and Fubuki Kitakaze in Maesetsu! Opening Act (2020).

  While performing as a member of the 10-member VA unit for Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, she released her solo debut single "Honjitsu wa Seitenari" (It's Fine Today) from Nippon Columbia on March 3, 2021. The single's highest position in Oricon's weekly single charts was eighth.

Maesetsu! will air in 2020. A new year’s presentation will be held on January 7 in Akihabara.

Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet, Katana Maidens: Mini Toji) will direct the project at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ, with Katsuzo Hirata (Angel Beats!, Hand Maid May) providing character designs. Touko Machida (Chaika – The Coffin Princess, Lucky Star) is in charge of series composition.
