Sebastian, entirely ignorant to the fact that he was only raising Yas’ suspicions by acting suspicious, cracked the door open a little more with a nod. Her answer felt innocent enough to him, not at all what someone would say if they knew that he was avoiding them — or at least, not at all what Hunter would say, who was the only other ‘real’ adult in his eyes that he oftentimes compared her to — so he lowered his guard. Perhaps that meant that he was just extremely gullible, and it would probably come back to bite him in the ass when he eventually started to ramble and the events of the past few weeks spilled out, but for now he couldn’t exactly deny that his stomach was rumbling.

“Okay. Okay, yeah. I can totally fuck up some food right now. I haven't had breakfast yet — uhh, dinner. Haven't had dinner yet. Whatever.” He shuffled away from the entryway only long enough to slide into his shoes, nearly closing the door behind him before he remembered that his phone was still abandoned on the couch. He backtracked to grab that, too, before he was fully ready. “Where are we going?”

Even for Sebastian, the greeting was an odd one, meriting a confused lift of Yasemin's brow in response. It wasn't uncommon for it to be long stretches of time between seeing each other, especially if she left it to Seb to come to her, but normally he was warm and excited to see her when she did pop in.

"Just popping by to visit, weirdo. If it's a bad time, no worries, though," she offered, giving him the out if he was in the middle of something or just didn't feel like socializing right now. There was obviously something up and she never wanted to impose, even if she did want to catch up with Seb and see what was going on in his life. "I got out early from work, you were on my way home." He was definitely right that most of the time she would be super busy now and most other times, but the break from the norm was kind of nice. "You want to come with me to grab dinner?"

One thing about Renee is that she's well known at school, but there isn't anyone she considers close enough to share personal stuff with. Well there's Kalei, but she just met her a few weeks ago! As when first getting into Fairy Tail, I thought that he gave himself his last name.

As think about it. This kid grew up with a fucking dragon. What is a surname gonna do for him? It's most likely that he would just be "Son of Igneel" or the "Fire Dragon Prince".

I always LOVED the idea of when he was brought to the present and people kept asking for a surname. And, apparently, "Son of Igneel" did not suffice.

So he came up with Dragneel on the fly. As it's combination of "Dragon" and "Igneel". I always thought it was endearing as it was him honoring his father in a way.

But then Zeref has the same last name and yeh. :/

One Serving of Fullbuster Headcanons comin right up boss

Doesn't seem much like it but he is a bit of a jewellery guy. He almost never takes off his necklace or bracelet and he has a bunch of different chains to clip onto his pants. He might toss on a ring or 2 if he's feeling extra fancy that day and his ears are pierced but only at the top, so when he wears a pair absolutely no one can tell unless he brushes his hair back.

Not necessarily one for gossip, he just happens to be friends with people who love to gossip (Cana, Loke, Lucy) so he always just seems to know things even if he doesn't particularly care to know.

His wardrobe consists of a lotta plain looking clothing. Basic t-shirts and jeans that he pairs with jackets. It's largely due to the fact that he keeps losing clothes so its cheaper to just buy a bunch of plain tees and junk in bulk to save him the stress of tryna replace nicer clothes down the line.

His shoes though? That's a completely different story. He will spend on shoes like his life depends on it. He's always dripped out his fuckin mind when it comes onto shoes. He's the guy with the uncreased Js, the perfect Tims, the spotless boots. He's the freak with a huge wall of boots and sneakers that he sits down and cleans with a toothbrush.

Has an almost perfect photographic memory which is great for when he needs to make replicas of items for missions or ice replicas or himself or others.

Used to smoke a fair bit but quit as time went on. He'll still pop a cigarette every now and then when he's particularly stressed though.

Outside of the team missions he gets reached out to a lot to do ice sculptures for fancy events and such. Even though the people are way too snooty for his taste sometimes (or they keep tryna flirt with him, someone save him please) its good money and he loves to be able to flex his art skills when he can't normally on faster paced jobs.

Fucking loves junk food. The greasier and messier the better. He cooks most of his own meals but he absolutely will not pass up the opportunity for something that could probably clog his heart.

Probably spoils Wendy the most out of everyone. He always goes out of his way to do a special lil treat for her (make little ice trinkets for eg.) or get something for her when he's out and about.

Fluent in both fioran and the main language in Iceburg but still has that lil brain stall when he can't remember a word despite living in fiore for the majority of his life at this point.

"Shut up! See! You said it yourself, 'same thing'. You're officially not allowed to rag on me." Despite the harshness of Sebastian's words, none of the harshness bled into his tone; he was laughing, knowing that he got caught with his hand in the metaphorical cookie jar, making up an excuse. Deep down past the jokes, he was thankful that Yas never seemed to be genuinely upset with him for the fact that she always became a victim of his spotty memory. He could never promise that he'd be better at keeping her in the loop next time, but he always hoped that she realized that it wasn't for lack of caring. "Thank you, Yas. I'm proud of myself too! And —" he held up his pointer finger, like what he was about to say was extremely important, "— My roomies put me in charge of makin' the punch. That's how you know it's gonna be dope." Instead of making a note to himself in his head, because they both knew how well that usually worked out, Sebastian just whipped out his phone and forwarded the address of the apartment to Yas right then and there, entirely too motivated by her agreement to come to the Christmas party. When the conversation got shifted back to the Nerf guns, he slipped his phone back into his pocket and focused his attention on the display in front of them. "I was thinkin' this one, 'cause it looks like it shoots little gel pellets instead of the stupid foam darts — and it'd probably be funny if I hit CJ with it while he was in the shower or somethin'," he chuckled, even at the thought, "But that one sounds cool too! I feel like Nerf guns are, like, one of the only things I'd trust a kid's opinion on. They probably know how to do some damage."

"Then I'll consider it a massive honor that I get to be the first thing in your entire life that you've ever forgotten," she teased back, tightening her grip around Sebastian as he returned the hug. There weren't a lot of people in her life that she was able to be this affectionate with, especially with all the drama with Asher and Sage as of late, so it felt good to just melt into his side contentedly. "But, yeah, yeah, right, failed to hit send, failed to start the message, same thing." There was no real malice to the words, Yas knew to expect behavior of this ilk from Sebastian at this point, but she certainly couldn't help but give him some gentle teasing about it anyway. "That's awesome, I'm very proud of you. Steps in the right direction or whatever. I'd love to come, just shoot me over the address and I'll be there." Whatever plans she had to sit around on her couch binge watching trashy reality TV could always be pushed to another day. After missing out on something relatively big in his life, Yas certainly wasn't going to miss out on a Christmas party if he was inviting her. Even if there was a chance that her invitation was out of pity or guilt, perhaps a mixture of both. "Which Nerf gun are you looking at? The kids I work with swear by the Nerf Pro Stryfe something or other."

Rocktober Day 1 - First

Brock knew pacing around outside wasn't going to make time go any faster. Twenty minutes; he was sure it would feel like an eternity. Still, he had time to smoke and get another shot in him to calm the adrenaline that now seemed to be coursing through his veins at the prospect of seeing her. He pulled the pack from his pocket and pulled one out, fishing a lighter out of his other pocket and lighting it quickly. He just meant to smoke one, slowly, to easy some of his anxiety. He chain smoked three before he'd hardly even realized it. "Christ, pull your shit together dude." he muttered to himself, flicking the last butt to the ground and turning to head back inside the bar.

He sauntered back up to the stool he'd been at and ordered a shot of cheap whiskey, downing it quickly. He refused to pull out his phone, yet his hazel hues couldn't help but make their way up to the clock on the bar wall, ticking by the passing minutes. It'd been at least 15, right? He couldn't remember exactly what time he'd texted her back, and he refused to check. He didn't trust himself not to text something stupid while she was on her way just to blow the whole thing up again.

The door opened several times and his head snapped up each time. "Pathetic." he grumbled and the man knew he if he continued to sit at the bar he'd keep ordering drinks and staring at the door like a pathetic puppy, so he ordered one more beer and then went to his usual table in the back corner. He forced himself to nurse his beer and sit back in the booth as though being able to relax was anywhere within his grasp at this moment.

His eyes scanned the small crowd that inhabited the bar. People he recognized since he was here so damn often. His eyes went back to staring at the starting drips of condensation on his bottle; the spell only broken when he finally heard her voice. God it was an even sweeter sound than his memory had been able to conjure and it brought an instant smirk to his lips, one that almost teetered on the edge of a smile. She looked good in every sense of the word, and he chuckled softly as she moved to sit. "Hey stranger." he responded with a slight teasing tone. "You want a drink?"
