The newest addition to Ken and Leyla's life, Cat was taken in because Leyla fell in love with it at the shelter and Ken couldn't say no to her. Used to be a skittish little thing but now walks around like he owns the place, stealing not only Ken's side of the bed but also Leyla's attention. (No, he's so not annoyed, why do you ask?) Though sometimes Ken and Cat just stare at each other for minutes on end for no real reason or purpose, in the end Ken does like Cat and Cat likes him back, sometimes, definitely not more than Leyla though. 💌 “Carla, please, that’s enough.” You’d say, stopping him from continuing.

💌 Luckily though, you two don’t have arguments about this issue, but Carla does prefer that you stick by his side since he can constantly remind others who you belong to, and prevent them from trying anything stupid.

💌 And he usually proves to others that you're his by either wrapping an arm around your waist, laying a kiss in your hair, or wrapping his scarf around you.

Shin:

​​💌 He hates it, but also loves it. It’s honestly 50/50 for different reasons.

💌 But let’s take a step back and discuss how you two met.

​​💌 Shin was at it again with his shenanigans with his brother, and let’s just say that instead of Carla getting pranked, you did instead.

Author Note: This is another Halloween Drama CD especially for the spooky season, except this one is a little more fun rather than spooky. Like always with these group dramas, there is no audio available. But, I hope you enjoy it all the same!! ― The scene begins in the Sakamaki manor. ―

Subaru: Where’d the hell that girl go?

Heh, you hidin’ on me? Fine, I’ll play ball, just this once… Tonight’s all about spooks, so what’s a little hide and seek?

Kanato: Cut it out. You’re being awfully noisy.

Subaru: Hah?

Kanato: Don’t act like you didn’t hear me, please. I hate repeating myself… Even Teddy says you are making a ruckus.

Subaru: Whatever… Don’t blame me for it. I wouldn’t be havin’ to make a sound if that woman would hurry up and show herself.

…Oi, reckon you have any idea where she wound up?

Kanato: That annoying person? It seems she decided to shut herself in her room.

Subaru: Just in here? I should’ve known.

― He tries the door. ―

Huh?

Fuck… The hell did you go locking the door on me for!? Not like there’s anythin’ to barge in on, you know!

― Footsteps approach. ―

Ryuuto: Have you considered she might be avoiding the likes of you for a change?

Subaru: Haah!? Ryuuto…?

Looks like Halloween came early...

Ryuuto: Mutter under your breath all you’d like. You’re simply putting your immaturity on full display, like a peacock showing off its feathers.

If she is avoiding you… Well, I – for one – think it is about time some sense was knocked into her. You can be nothing but a bad influence on her.

Subaru: Bastard… You’re one to talk!

Kanato: Who was it that let you in to our house, Ryuuto? I thought this place was off limits to your side of the family?

Ryuuto: I let myself in.

Besides, you must be mistaken if you think a verbal warning is enough to scare me off. Pitch a sign outside in protest, next time, fufu.

Kanato: …Hehe, maybe you’re right, Teddy. Maybe pitching his head on a spike, instead, would make a better solution.

Subaru: It’d make for a much better Halloween decoration, that’s for sure.

― Subaru and Kanato laugh amongst themselves. ―

Anyhow, please clear off, won’t you? I am here for that person, alone, and would rather not have my evening ruined by the “Sakamaki babies”*.

　　*The Japanese here would ideally be “―逆巻のねんね”; Not only is Ryuuto calling them childish and immature, but he is also using baby-talk whilst doing so to be condescending lol.

Kanato: What did you call me!? A “baby”…!?

Subaru: You say that shit again, and this place’ll soon be a real haunted house!!

Ryuuto: Oh dear, what a foul mood you are both in all of a sudden. It would appear you babies are teething*, too. Fufufu.

　　*Again, Ryuuto is being condescending as they’re younger than him, about to throw a tantrum, and – as all the Diaboys like to bare their teeth/threaten to bite when angry – teething is a play on them being “babies” as well as Vampires lol.

Subaru: You piece of…!

― Suddenly the door opens, with you rushing out to stop the fight! ―

Ryuuto: “Stop”? Fufu, you think I am frightened by―― Gaah!?

Subaru: Th-The fuck!? Gh-Ghost!?

Kanato: Waah!?

― You question what’s wrong. ―

Ryuuto: …!? It’s just you!?

― You apologise. ―

Subaru: “Thought you were a ghost”? F-Fuck off, I wasn’t spooked…

Ryuuto: You can’t expect us to not be startled, when you come walking out unannounced covered in something so strange.

Kanato: E-Eh? You mean…

“A face mask” is what all that slime on your face is? How is putting something that looks so disgusting all over your face relaxing?

Ryuuto: They aren’t uncommon when it comes to skincare; Women tend to love the moisture and glow they give the face, after all.

Aren’t you supposed to have cucumbers to go along with this too?

Kanato: Like those over there you mean? Like a spa treatment…

Subaru: Pah… Since when did you care about “skincare”, anyway?

Ryuuto: Don’t sound so revolted, Subaru. I’m sure you could learn a thing or two about taking care of yourself from this woman.

Subaru: What’s that supposed to mean!?

― You ask them to calm down. ―

Kanato: …Sniff, sniff. Smells of… honey?

― You explain it’s a homemade face mask. ―

Kanato: It’s “homemade”? From fresh ingredient we had lying around in the kitchen?

Hey, is this really just an excuse to make yourself into a ready-to-eat meal for me? Hehe, you smell too good to not eat.

Subaru: Honey? You mean…

― Kanato licks your face. ―

Kanato: Are you saying our skin needs some kind of treatment? Mine is as soft as ever, you know!

Ryuuto: I don’t know about you two, but I suppose it might make for quite the relaxing evening, if we were to give it a go, as well...

Subaru: I thought the point of all this was to make her look ridiculous.

Ryuuto: I’m not going to spill any onto your bedsheets, whilst sat here, don’t fret.

Kanato: Why are you laughing all of a sudden?

Ryuuto: Why, indeed? It was your idea for the cucumber-eyes, Pet. Don’t tell me you are going to make us regret letting you pamper us?

Subaru: …Oi.

I wonder if you could do this sorta stuff with blood, you know? Wouldn’t that be just as refreshin’?

Kanato: Are you suggesting we should try that next time?

these are all relatively recent because i pick and choose older songs individually more than i listen to them as a single album. like i could pick at least an album’s worth of queen songs, but they’re not all off the same album, ya feel.

in no particular order!! w some explainers below the cut:

dreamland (2020) - glass animals. i almost put how to be a human being but i’ve been listening to that album basically on repeat for the last three weeks so i needed to switch it up. such an experience of an album honestly?? where how to be a human being makes me feel like the main character in an over-saturated murderous movie set in miami, dreamland is like, over-saturated fast car movie set in tokyo (the like. hollywood idea of tokyo, to be clear). forever intertwined with midnight walks through empty cities during covid, driving too fast, the first time i hung out with people after getting to come back to college, neon lights on cinderblock walls and $12 plastic handles of liquor. fundamentally bittersweet as an album imo? but so full of bangers that you forget that it’s . really sad. tokyo drifting with denzel curry was my top song of 2020 and spotify helpfully informed me that i listened to it 30 times on my 19th birthday. lol. the “get loose, streetfighter” with the street fighter sound effect… oh yeah baby that’s art. it’s all so incredibly loud also a song of all time tbh. whole album is floaty and sharp all at once, insane production, the perfect sadness layered underneath, every song building into this brilliant crescendo… perfect album for 2020 eve for like so many reasons, i could wax on about this for AGES so if u want more drop an ask no joke it’ll make my week. still holds up soooo well

lemonade (2016) - beyonce. LOL. this album dropped right around when i was getting cheated on by my gf of. over a year. and then we broke up and i signed the papers to transfer schools the next day without telling anyone. so this album fr got me through uprooting my entire life to start over. (what timing, to get cheated on right as beyonce drops her got-cheated-on album). i knew beyonce belonged on here (too influential musically to me to Not) but i was stumped on what specific album to include (i had 4 on cd in my car in high school, for example, and homecoming: the live album felt like cheating) until i remembered how much play time this one got, and how much i leaned on the album and the visuals then (which. by the way. i bought on itunes bc it wasn’t available for streaming. used precious data bc school wifi wouldn’t let me download it. possibly the last album i bought on itunes??)

save rock and roll (2013) - fall out boy. oh man. 2015 me was on one bc i was a HUGE mcr/fob/atl/p!atd/green day girl but at the Exact same time. a 1d girlie. my shuffle would literally go from mama to up all night. ANYWAYS. was stuck between american beauty/american psycho and save rock and roll, but i think american beauty/american psycho didn’t hold my attention for long and only recently came back on my radar (has some very toxic inspiration won’t lie). the mighty fall ft big sean? life changing. big fan of rappers being dropped into songs that you aren’t expecting them to feature on. “i’m either fuckin or workin so the grind don’t stop” is a work of art. young volcanoes and save rock and roll were legitimately like. the most comforting songs of all time as a sad and lonely 14 year old

when we were friends (2019) - the backseat lovers. starts out so strong and keeps it going. what an album to listen to while absurdly into someone who then starts dating your roommate lol. just like, beautiful stuff. makes me yearn. crazy good to belt out in the car while driving

cleopatra (2016) - the lumineers. feels like home, and being dumb young and in love to me. i’ve been listening to them since ho hey played on our local membership supported radio station when i was . 11?? finally got to see them two summers ago and bawled my eyes out the entire time. this whole album no skips but also like. so overwhelmingly nostalgic and infused with feelings with nowhere to go that i can’t help but want to cry. i learned how to play ophelia on a piano in a basement of a dorm i’ll never see the inside of again lol. patience makes me insane and it’s literally just piano. the lumineers in general make a lot of music that makes me ache for times and places i can’t return to, but this album is pretty peak for it

lungs (deluxe edition) (2009) - florence + the machine. god florence just does not miss does she. dog days are over another local member supported radio station hit. i started listing all the perfect songs off and then had to stop because i was listing the entire track list. floaty and romantic with a heavy edge of morbidity and violence. remember when i said i love when rappers on songs you aren’t expecting? if you listen to anything from this post PLEASE listen to you’ve got the dirtee love ft dizzee rascal from this album. a long ass album that’s good the whole way through, i’ll truly never tire of it

ctrl (2017) - sza. i think SOS might be better and eventually take this slot but i’m trying not to let recency impact this too much. drew barrymore went quintuple platinum in my bedroom in high school. it really was the perfect album for insecure 16 year old me? speaks of growth that listening to this album doesn’t hit me where i live half as much as it used to, that instead of being like damn so real sza to things like . “im sorry im so clingy i dont mean to be a lot... lonely enough to let you treat me like this” im like. damn good song

hozier (expanded edition) (2014) - hozier. take me to church another song that member supported ad-free radio station introduced me to. what a fucking album my GOD. angel of small death and the codeine scene… jackie and wilson was literally like. the love song to me. still is can’t lie. need to be saved and have hands through my hair. every single song has lines that literally make my jaw drop, i feel like i discover something new on every listen through. “free and young and we can feel none of it”… foreigner’s god makes my chest ache. i can’t fucking believe this album is ten years old???

mt joy (2018) - mt joy. another album that reminds me of home; my whole family listened to this for months on end during covid. i’m your wreck is such an opener… “and whatever happens please remember all the laughter” like i’ll cry. my instagram bio is from this song lol. the bit where it shifts into what my family calls shoulder lean mode… anyways. ASTROVAN!!! A SONG ABOUT JESUS SMOKING WEED but like. also an emotional tale of assuring mom how music’ll work out even if they’re broke the whole time. whole album gives me Feelings. this might be the happiest album on this list and it’s. not really that happy. just a very specific kind of like. optimism. we move forward even when we look back. the world fails us but we build it better. idk. like the last song is a break up song, but it’s whole thing is “so if you worry, don’t worry bout me, i always wanted you to see the california coast-line on your own time.” so like yeah, love is burning out, but don’t worry about me. i told u. Feelings.

BEENZINO - NOWITZKI (ENGLISH LYRICS TRANSLATION)

The second studio album by rapper Beenzino and his comeback after 6 years, NOWITZKI is named after the legendary German NBA player, Dirk Nowitzki. The album’s cover art, however, features Beenzino’s German-origin wife and muse, Stefanie Michova, who he got married to in August 2022. Beenzino mentioned that the album was originally meant to be named 'Stefanie' after his muse, but was afraid that if people didn't like the album, they would say "Ah, Stefanie wasn't that good (of an album)' so he decided to put the burden on Nowitzki instead (LOL). But, to him, the album is titled Stefanie, since she "took up so much of my headspace".

Then, instead of using clothes, he uses body paint to make a costume (he literally has no clothes on) So Genos starts to describe how brilliant that is, calling Saitama's physic "beautiful" and he "might get crushed" (from the cd audio book)

Metal Bat walking his little sister Zenko home from school, when they both see two kittens lost in the middle of a lake inside a box. Badd swins off to save them, but he sees Garou did the exact same thing. They have a petty fight in the water, still trying to save the kittens, while Tareo and Zenko are telling them to stop lol. In the end, Badd gets the white kitten (same color as Garou's hair) and Garou gets the black kitten, same color as Badd's. (From a manga omake)

Saitama and Genos go to a festival together, and Genos is surprised by the fireworks, bc he has never seen them before. So they watch it together. (From another audio cd)

Badd and Garou, in the middle of a fight start arguing, until without even actually trying, defeat the enemy perfectly in sync and the phrase "a rival isn't that bad" appears as they stand close, shoulder to shoulder. + Fanservice drawing (From a manga chapter)

Saitama coming back to the battle field and instead of fighting Garou at his prime, he goes STRAIGHT towards Genos to see if he was ok, and then compliments him on the nice fight he put in. Genos doubts his efforts to become stronger, but then Saitama puts his hand on Genos' core (Basically his heart) and says "haven't this part become stronger too?" And it lights up under his hand. So Genos, whipped as always say "it's all thanks to Sensei and dr. Kuseno" and Saitama smiles, even blushing a little "I didn't do anything" (from a manga chapter, ft. An entire gorgeous colored page.)

After the arc is done and Garou is defeated, the heroes that he beat up tried to basically kill him with their bare hands. But Badd defends him, bc at that point they'd be beating an injured guy. And when Amai Mask says his "extermination" is not out for discussion, Badd says "i sure as hell didn't agree to that". And he said that, despite also being one of the heroes Garou went out hunting.
