I am intrigued by all the titles so much, can I ask about both Westallen Role Reversal and Snowest/Killerwest fic?

You absolutely can!

Westallen role reversal:

Okay so it’s based on this post. Basically, Iris is the one pining for years, while Barry is oblivious. Barry is still the Flash, while Iris is not. Barry/Felicity is likely going to be the Iris/Eddie equivalent here, since the post suggested that…though that ofc means it’s going to be quite a bit different from canon in some significant ways.

Particularly in that 1x15 will still be their Big Damn Kiss, but it won’t be cheating! Iris will ofc be single, and Barry and Felicity will likely break up…well, exact timeframe unclear, but Barry will be single when the tidal wave happens (Barry and Felicity will be a couple for longer here than in canon, though—sort of a mix of Iris/Eddie and Barry/Linda). Also, the 1x09 confession doesn’t happen—the love confession happens here, with Iris confessing much like she does in canon

And of course, Barry being the Flash means he remembers the confession and the kiss…but Iris does not! Which makes for some fun shenanigans :D don’t ask me details about that though, I couldn’t tell you (haven’t figured that out just yet 😅)

I can tell you that Eddie and Iris are good friends (haven’t decided if they went on 1-2 dates, but…if they did, Iris’s very obvious pining means it didn’t last. Like Barry/Felicity in canon)—he teases her about how long it’ll be before she confesses to Barry (“you’d better hurry up and confess to him quick, West, or someone else might snatch him up.” “Oh, like who? You?” “I just might, you never know. He’s a catch.”)

Linda teases her similarly 😂 and I have a snippet about that:

“Iris! Your boyfriend’s here!” Iris froze and immediately darted out to meet a far-too-gleeful Linda and a very confused Barry. “Iris?” Barry said slowly. Not good. I have to fix this. She laughed, quickly and hopefully not too desperately. “Oh Linda, you’re so funny! You know that’s not what boyfriend means! Don’t pay her any mind, Barry, she’s just kidding. You know how Linda is.” “Yep.” Linda smirked, completely unapologetic. “You know how I am.” Iris shot a glare at Linda, who grinned cheerfully.

Caitlin and Cisco have also picked up on Iris’s feelings for Barry, and they have a betting pool going for how long it’ll take Barry to realize

And that’s all I’ve got for this right now! I haven’t quite gotten around to formally starting it, I’ve just written bits and pieces of the middle, but…hopefully this year I’ll at least get through a good chunk of it (trying not to be too ambitious and say “I’ll finish it”) 😅

“You’re not having second thoughts, are you?” Her eyes widened, and she shook her head. Savitar nodded, though his shrewd gaze didn’t waver. “Good. I’d hate to think your silly fantasies are preventing you from doing what needs to be done.” She narrowed her eyes. “What are you talking about?” “Oh, come on, Caitlin. Do you really think I haven’t noticed?” Don’t call me Caitlin. “Noticed what?” “You and Iris.” At her surprise, he smirked. “That’s right. You’re not as subtle as you think. I’d almost be jealous if I thought you had a single chance…but it’s more amusing than anything.”

oh Savitar...he's so enjoying this 🥺 as per canon, he never misses a chance to remind Killer Frost that she's beneath him (and always will be)

Made for Femslash February 2021 and square B4 “Anniversary” on my @flarrowverse-shipyard bingocard. This makes for a full house! I couldn’t resist rounding off the bingo with something kinda Snowest, though this is more adjacent. Ficlet to accompany the moodboard behind the read more.

Frost enters the apartment at a swift walk, casually slinging her bag down by the coatrack. She slows down when she sees what Iris has spread out over the countertop – the flowers, the card, the box from the bakery, and plates laid out ready for the rest of the desserts (because savory isn't really Frost's thing).

“Did Caity forget something important? I'll get her-”

“Wait, no! Don't go!”Iris says a bit too sharply but it gets Frost's attention, eyebrows raised. For a moment Iris was afraid Frost would disappear for the night and the whole thing would be for nothing.

“It is an important date, but not for Caity.”

“Okay... but for who?” Frost asks, brow knitting in confusion. Somehow she doesn't see the obvious, which is a little amusing to Iris who is used to Frost being the more socially observant one out of her and Cait.

“It's our anniversary. Not me and Cait, me and...you.”

“Oh,” is all Frost says and Iris worries she's misjudged things. It's been odd, essentially dating both Frost and Caitlin at the same time. She still spends vastly more time with Cait but there's no denying there's a relationship between her and Frost too. It's different, and Frost's not big on labeling things, but it exists and Iris wants to acknowledge it. To make sure Frost feels appreciated too. That her life doesn't slip by without anything of note, like it had so many years before, when she hadn't had the love of Team Flash or of Iris.

“I got macarons and ice cream for you. The brownies are mostly for me. I didn't plan any dinner, just dessert and more dessert.”

“You're such a sweetie,” Frost says almost deadpan, but her grin creeps in before she's gotten the words entirely out. Iris chuckles at the pun and any tension she'd felt melts away at that. The pun is how she knows this was the right thing to do. A pun, rather than her more biting snark, is a sure sign of the Frost stamp of approval. It's one thing Caitlin and Frost share; when they're truly relaxed they can't help but be a bit of a dork and Iris loves that.

Hello Flash fandom!

I’m sure you’re all well aware of the Snowbarry/Westallen ship war. I’ve been trying to think of ways to deal with this as a multishipper who's been a big fan of Snowbarry, WestAllen, SnowWest and their polyship for a while, as even fics seem to often have tones of bashing one ship over the other, or worse sometimes you can't even have content of one without it being attacked.

So, as part of my project for adults in fandom: I thought I would make a server and blog dedicated to harmony of all the ships that involve Iris, Barry, and Caitlin together in various ways.

What are we?

We are an 18+ server and Tumblr blog for multishippers by multishippers. No ship wars or anti-Candince bullshit here.

We feature:

- Channels for Snowbarry, Snowwest, Westallen, Snowwestallen, and adjacent ships (Like Savisnow, FrostWest, Flashfrost etc). As well as other topics that don’t involve a combonation of Barry, Iris, or Caitlin, though that’s our main focus

- A sprint/writing bot + Places to collaborate with other creators on your next fic or project!

- The Pipeline which features smut areas, a channel to vent about ship wars, the fandom's racism, and more.

- General areas for talking about things like gaming or sharing cool pics.

- Inclusive atmosphere.

18+ fans who ship some combonation of Barry/Iris/Caitlin but not all who are looking for a chill judgement free atmosphere to gush about their ships or promote their content! (Ex: Only ships one Barry/Iris/Caitlin ship but doesn't want to be involved in the ship war. Only ships Snowbarry but respects that WestAllen is canon, is a big Savisnow fan but a multishipper, etc.)

Snowest/Killerwest fic for the WIP tag game please??

Soooo last week, I answered this ask (thank you @alittleflashvibe 💞). And then, some time later, I went back and reread that ask…specifically, this part:

Caitlin/KF’s hesitation throughout canon that Savitar keeps sensing…perhaps she doesn’t want her girlfriend dead 👀 perhaps she’s not as detached as she pretends 👀 perhaps Savitar can tell and taunts her about it regularly, reminding her that she already betrayed Iris from the moment she joined him, what makes her think Iris would take her back? And is the potential heartbreak worth giving up what Savitar is promising her?

(Yes. The answer is always yes, even if it takes Caitlin/KF a while to summon the courage to act on that. Because she’d rather Iris be alive and hating her than dead. But ofc she’s wrong—Iris never doubted her, always believed in her. There was no heartbreak at stake at all)

OOOH and on that note!! In canon, Caitlin/KF tries to test Savitar’s mettle by reminding him of his love for Iris—what if that’s a ploy, what if it’s her attempt to stop this plan before Iris can be hurt 👀

and I went “…wait. WAIT. What if I fic this.” And thus, an idea was born!

In that ask, I talked about it in an established Snowest context. But in the fic I’m thinking of…it would be much sadder—it would be canon-compliant, so unrequited Snowest, with Killer Frost unable to fully push down those feelings no matter how hard she tries. It’s really me reading sapphic context into Killer Frost’s canonical hesitation that keeps cropping up in s3 😅

Unlike canon, though…Savitar catches on to this. And, knowing that Iris is madly in love with, and engaged to, Barry, he taunts Killer Frost for still being in love with a woman she never confessed to, a woman she can no longer be with. And, as per the content of the ask…reminding her that she’s already betrayed Iris by siding with him, so all she’ll do if she goes back is lose what Savitar is promising her. Canon shortchanges suitless Savitar too often for my liking, so I’m always glad for the chance to write more of him :D especially at his most cruel

It’ll probably be more like a missing scene, so it won’t be a terribly long fic...but I'm hoping to write and post it next month, during Femslash February!
