god i can just picture it now, you’re walking onto the beach so fucking happy to finally be back after not going for ages (lee cried and locked herself inside the house the last time you tried to go), and then there’s lee… 🧍‍♀️ girly is just stood on the pathway that leads up to the sand, your bags and folded up towels in hand as she refuses to take just one little step forward onto the sand.

you have to push her to the spot you’d like your towels placed

lee sits on her towel and doesn’t move, she won’t even uncross her legs. she’s just sat awkwardly leaning over the towel so she can make you a sandcastle <3 she’s using various children’s tools she’d ordered from amazon to build, picking up the shells around her to turn them into decoration.

she’s so proud of herself when you come back from the water for a drink 😭 “honey! look what i made you” and she’s all shyyyy

also lee is 100% the kind of person to write your initials in a heart in the sand, and not small too she wants it to be seen by everyone, just so they all get the message (aka “stop staring at my wife’s ass you pervs”).

ice creams on the beach!!! lee is so mad at the wasps swarming her LMAOOO you’re actually petrified so you’ve moved, poor lee is trying to be brave and impress you but if they get too close she drops her act to scream like a child.

after hours of trying to convince her to get into the water, she finally agrees! you lead her to the water (despite her purposefully moving slower than a sloth) and let go of her hand to make your way in, assuming she’d follow.

SHES SO CUTE I CANT IM LITERALLY ABT TO CRY JUST THINKING ABT HER

“come on baby you can do it! it’s just water!” you attempt to encourage her, and surprisingly it works. lee veryyy slowly starts inching her way towards the water, a wave crashing into her ankle just as she does so. she makes various weird noises, you know when you eat something that feels like it’s just come straight out of a volcano? it sounds something like that.

but hey she’s doing it! she’s walking towards you with a big smile on her face, your expression mirroring her own. that is until lee feels something slimy wrapping around her leg, imagine the scream she lets out when she glances down to discover there’s a green alien trying to worm its way inside of her (there’s seaweed on her leg).

my girl runs for the hills. screaming like she’s being tortured before dropping onto the sand and swatting her attacker away (which is again, seaweed).

you make your way over to her in an instant, removing the seaweed from her leg as you stifle a laugh. the woman, your wife, now caked head to toe in sand… even the poor girls eyelashes have sand in them.

“can we go home please?” poor baby :(

once you’ve returned to the comfort of your own home, lee gets the most cuddles she’s ever gotten from you in her life. despite her silliness (not silliness, she was very viciously attacked by aliens) you’re still so incredibly proud of her for facing her fears and going on a fun little adventure with you.

It’s MY blog – and MY birthday – and I get to talk about the latest Pokemon release over a month after it came out because I want to!!!

Spoilers for the game! Also not bothered to proofread lol

Ok so I’m gonna start off with the stuff I didn’t like very much. Gonna try keep it brief because I otherwise really enjoy the game and a lot of my takes are common in the fandom

I have seen CGI from 2002 power rangers specials that look better than this game

Frame rate is crunchier than gravel sometimes

Honestly,it’s embarrassing that a game from 2022 looks and runs this badly

Especially since PLA released earlier that year, and while not perfect, it ran much better

SV definitely needed an extra year or two in the oven

I hate how most houses can’t be entered and that most shops are menus

Wish you could pet your mons again, not just wash them

WHY IS PUTTING BREAD ON A SANDWICH SO DIFFICULT

In the options at the start of the game where you’re asked by someone (might be Nemona, can’t remember) what dream you have, why can’t you answer with ‘be a trophy spouse for a hot champion’?!

Steven should cameo in this game (I will NOT debate this)

Really miss the catching mechanic from PLA, woulda worked amazing here

I love that Pokemon is going in a more genderfluid direction when it comes to character customization (and NPCs too)

But I wish there was a skirt option for the unifotms (and not just for the f! mc, for everyone!)

Also the uniforms are so ugly… please let us change out of em soon gamegreak!

warning - this is long and contains otk spoilers (and macbeth spoilers lol). no i do not offer refunds for time wasted. but if u don’t read this, i will find u because my fatigue is fuelling me w anger :)

11:00 pm: ok so I was casually floating in a bowl of water (segue- what is the point of baths? you can literally do the same things in ur bed but dry...) thinking about how great a shakespearean au would be... yes, I hate Shakespeare’s pretentious ass and if I have to read Romeo and Juliet one more time, I might obliterate my existence. however, imagine the drama of a midsummer nights dream au- immaculate fairy hallucinogenic woods vibes w the magic of fairies that could be linked to sge, just everyone going insane bacchanal in the woods. sadly there are more characters in this play than unnecessary first years in TCY so I decided to try twelfth night instead. 

12:30 am: ok, I have tried every combination of characters possible for twelfth night (just imagine - agatha in the position of duke orsino and tedros in the position of viola, ah the angsty friends to lovers, the jealousy arc potential, misunderstood love ahh) but I always ended up w an agaphie... incident (sweet home alabama)

2:00 am: tried hamlet, taming of the shrew and king lear (plot is way to depressing)... becoming delusional

magical girl ! magic circus performer !

she’s a powerful wizardess, magic is in her blood and she’s been practising to make it stronger ever since she was a child !

while her parents also had magic, they wanted to live human lives. thus, they didn’t practise or use their own magic at all, and they practically forbade velvet from using her magic, as well.

in her younger years, velvet would obey her parents while at home, but would find ways to practise it either when her parents weren’t home or when she went out.

practising her magic in such minuscule amounts, though, wasn’t at all enough for her to make big improvements in it.

she was so enthralled with the concept of magic, though, and she wanted to be the best there ever was --- thus, she became dangerously desperate to be exactly that.

when she was fourteen, velvet ran away from her home in the middle of the night, not leaving any trace of where she had gone.

on that same night, she went deep into the forest, her secret spellbook in hand, and summoned a demon prince by the name of zarin.

she asked him to make a deal with her; he could have her soul if he made her magic far more powerful than it already was.

thus, the demon prince ripped her soul out of her body and, with no more than a snap of his fingers, the wizardess’ magic was ten times more powerful.

it was with this that the wizardess was finally satisfied, even if she was now soulless.

shortly after this night, though, she came to realise that she was alone, with no family or friends, and living such a lonely life wasn’t something that she felt she would be able to do, and she knew that she could never return home.

coincidentally, a magical circus, cirque du delire, was in the downtown area and, as enthralled with magic as velvet was, she made it a point to attend the show, and she fell absolutely in love with it.

it was after the show that she was approached by the ringmaster of the circus, who said he could feel magic radiating off of her, and he asked her who she was, where she came from, and what she could do.

velvet, without even a moment of hesitation, explained her situation and showed the ringmaster a few examples of her magic.

the ringmaster was so interested in her story and so fascinated with her magic that he asked if she would be interested in travelling with them, as a sort of intern.

of course, velvet agreed and trained with the other circus for two years before they finally added her as an act in the show on her sixteenth birthday.

currently in the show, she is an illusionist, who goes by ❝ the illusionist ❞.

she’s very vain, very magical, very eccentric !

she thinks she’s the very wizardess in the world, will tell people that she’s better than them; very arrogant !

instead of dying, though, she made friends with the creatures of the forest and made herself a home amongst them and the trees.

the forest creatures helped her build a small cottage for her to live and grow up in.

in her teen years, she decided to take on natural witchcraft ( herbs, flowers, crystals ) as opposed to the fantastical witchcraft that was in her blood.

she uses her genetic witchcraft only for help with her potions.

when unwelcome visitors come across her cottage, she tends to use them as test subjects for her potions before turning them into teddy bears and keeping them around her cottage !

her goal is to make a love potion that will encourage the person who ingests the potion to slowly but surely fall in love, but to kill them as soon as the love is requited !

her cottage is filled with teddy bears, all who used to be living people.

she is, quite literally, a recluse.

despite being distant, is lowkey wild — she has no filter and, thus, says some odd and peculiar things at times.

she has a fascination with light magic — tries to study it as much as she can & when she finds the time to go to the surface, and dreams of becoming a professional at it.

her parents don’t approve of her studying light magic; they want her to become a knight of hell when she turns eighteen and have practically condemned her to serve hell for the rest of her life as a servant, anyway.

she has to decide whether she wants to follow her dream and give up her demonic nature and her family, or continue serving hell, become a knight of hell, and continue being a demon and keep her family.

she can also be kind of snarky, though ! especially if she disapproves of something that someone that she loves is doing !

she tends to throw tantrums when she grows frustrated — due to her demonic nature, her tantrums tend to end in minor natural disasters.

he’s the leader of a group of ragtag kids who have all deemed themselves as the skull bois !

he was a neglected and abused child ! his parents never wanted a kid, thus they tended to ignore him, but he would get beaten whenever he did something that they deemed as wrong.

he would run away from home at night to fly around --- he thought he was dancing with the moon and the stars.

his wings were cut off by his parents when he was nine, leaving him a wingless faerie !

after this happened, he ran away from home and lived in the forest for a while !

it was around this time that he met the first lost child who he would take in, and the amount of children that he took in would only grow as years passed by !

now, of course, he takes care of nearly a dozen kids !

when the argenti first arrived, it was no more than a week after their arrival that one of his kids, vista, was severely injured by them when collecting resources out by herself.

phineas knew that there was no way that they could take her to the hospital, since they had no money of any kind, but he knew that she would otherwise die if they did nothing to help her, knowing that none of them were skilled enough in healing magic to heal her themselves.

it was decided that they didn’t have time to search for and track down someone who did know healing magic and, thus, he did the only thing that he could possibly think to do.

on the night that most assuredly would have been vista’s death, phineas told the skull bois that he was going out to find someone who could help vista, then went out deep into the forest alone.

it was in the forest that he summoned a demon prince called zarin, and offered the prince his soul in exchange for vista’s life.

of course, the demon prince made the deal happily, ripping finny’s soul from his body and then going back with him to make a show of healing the girl.

thus, he’s now soulless and is condemned to the underland !

despite lacking a soul, he is super compassionate and extremely loyal !

due to him being brought up in the public eye as his parents built their respective careers ( lowkey trash in viewing his parents as frank and claire underwood but with more chill rip ), theo didn’t have many friends so partly as a way to give him a hobby to pursue outside of school and to meet new friends, his parents signed up a 5 year old theo for language lessons and a soccer lessons ,,,u know ,, lil kid things ,,, so it’s here that begins theo’s love for languages bc he’s a nerd and a bit of a polyglot but as of now he’s fluent in italian, spanish, french, german, russian and latin ,, ur boy is currently learning arabic and mandarin

being raised by his parents meant that theo was brought up with the caldwell ambition and hard work ethic, believing in order to succeed you must work hard for what you want and that change can only be made in the world if you fight enough for it. this transferred over to theo’s academic standing who worked to keep up his 4.0 gpa


for real though,,,theo was the kid in all ap classes and managed to seem effortlessly cool but also was a giant ass nerd ?? ask him about harry potter, star wars or marvel ( bring up dc to him and he will rant off on why marvel is better ) and he’ll sure as hell have a vocal opinion ( don’t get him started on hp,,,snape was a bully and can choke,,,while draco is his fave that he’ll defend forever )

it’s during theo’s time at princeton that he truly begins to find himself and grows more confident ??? gone are the days of string bean theo and bada bing bada boom enter tom’s spider-man physique bc theo starts taking more care of himself and just v self assured in his place in the world and just wanting to help people and make a change ?? for now he just wants to make a difference as a lawyer and maybe work for the state and maybe down the line turn political ,, but he’s debating whether to go aim toward corporate, constitutional law, or international humanitarian law

since the past few years in college have been super !!! especially throwing in helping out his parents with appearances, stress of keeping up his grades, and generally running off of caffeine and the determination of elle woods ,, theo is taking a year or so off to steady himself but he got an internship position at baker & mckenzie law firm here in chicago as a paralegal to get some experience in the field before going off to harvard law ,, plus his dad has connections that may have tilted the scale in theo’s favor for the job but theo is a bit ,, naive in his optimism 

overall though theo is the least bit pretentious person and is a p chill dude,,,understands his privilege and knows that not everyone is born into money like his family is,.,, loves helping people and just wants the world to be a better place ??? v openly liberal in terms of political beliefs and 10/10 would fight donald trump and jeff sessions in a heartbeat do it for the vine

Lauryl’s Wishlist and Resolutions

Berlioz

More Music Stuff: I’ve gotten to do stuff with Ber/music in the past but a lot of it has been me rping with me and sending him to festivals and concerts. I’d like to see him interact with some of the musically-inclined people in town-- maybe even collaborate? I have some subgoals for this:

Go to concert/festivals with another character: I think rping an arc would be so fun and I personally love concerts/festivals so.

Produce someone else’s music: Ber will be starting uni and having school projects...he will need guinea pigs.

Write more music blog stuff: I’ve done very few, rather casual posts in the past about artists Ber likes-- reviews etc. I would love to post more of this (maybe even through BDRP radio? /looks at radio)

Anxiety Arc: I really want Ber to start learning about his anxiety and working through it. Specifically, he needs to go to a therapist, haha.

Sexuality: Ber’s come a long way since I got him, but he still feels majorly ‘out of place’ in the LGBTQIA community. I’d like to explore more of those feelings somehow. I got a few ideas. 

Kiara

Discover her passions!! Kiara doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life and I want her to try a bunch of stuff as she figures it out. So does your character have a cool hobby? Let Kiara do that cool hobby with ur character!

Race and Identity: one important thing for me when I got Kiara and picked Halsey was dealing with her struggle with her appearance and how she felt ‘out of place’ with the Lyons and as a POC in general. I’d like to explore this conflict more.

Continue to deal with her issues: Kiara needs to keep going to therapy and she needs to admit to herself she has problems that she is denying please my daughter. 

Best Friend to lovers: I think this trope would be rly good for Kiara because too often she sees people as “romantic options’ first and not as the people they really are. I would love a slow burn romance for Kiara that surprises both her and me, really.

Hades (oh boy)

Re-learn how to use his powers-- and maybe the way to do this is to like.. do something heroic tbh? instead of always burning people up and fuckin’ everyone UP. Yeah, I want Hades to do something heroic.

Board stuff: specifically, I’d like to see Milla start enacting new strictures for magicks. I’d love for her to try to manipulate this type of stuff through the other board members

Get a magical object or something magical: Whether through the Merlin’s objects or otherwise, I would love Milla to actually seek magic herself.

MILF Reigns Supreme: I love exploring Milla’s sexuality-- it’s one of my fave things that i’ve done with her. I’d love her to get more boy toys (maybe even girl toys) and tbh, I would be open, if it’s right, to have that relationship get more complicated than just sex.

Miscarriage: That being said, this is a rather dark storyline but Milla is obsessed with control and to miscarry would be-- the opposite of having control. Anyone up for it?

Get her more female friends!! She really doesn’t have a lot of good female relationships (part of that is because many of her relationships have ended up dropping). But Nala deserves more friendships

Take Nala on dates! I also want Nala to try to date a little. She’s so work-focused, like lots of my characters, so this would be a new side to her that I haven’t gotten to explore

Have Nala literally kick ass/para with some sort of physical/action element to it: Okay so we say it jokingly, but after Nala’s surgery and recovery I’d love for her to actually whoop somebody’s ass even if it’s just while going back to kickboxing. Nala’s identity as an athlete is super important to her-- whenever I write about Nala’s relationship to her body, I get chills, because she loves her body so much and is so centered in it. So it would be fun to do a physical-heavy para.

Explore his sexuality: Milo is definitely somewhere on the ace spectrum  (gray, demi what have u) and so exploring that with his girlfriend Jane (maybe she’s into it one night, he’s not, she wants to try stuff that he doesnt’... u know, just those kinds of conversations) would be really complicated and fun. As someone who is on the ace spectrum myself, It’s also kind of important to me to try to honor that side of him and acknowledge it in play-- along WITH the smut.

Explore more areas of the forest: I’ve already started to invent some parts of the forest as I go, but I’d like to try to see if I can’t put Prince in some of these deeper parts. If your character wants to get lost in the woods-- hit me up.

Make more human connections/get in touch with his human side: Hopefully, Prince will be in town more and can make friends with people who are not animals haha.

Explore comic timing/situations with the Prince! The Prince doesnt’ know a lot about the human world-- like how to work technology-- so i want to put him in more situations where he is totally out of his element.
