STUFF I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT MYSTREET SEASON 3:

• ok first why does half the cast mentally regress into children?? This is extremely evident with Aphmau and Zane. Aphmau turns into a LITERAL CHILD and Zane becomes some angsty emo bratty teen. the only people who are not children are laurance lucinda katelyn and to some extent garroth

• oh wow zianna carrying the whole season on her back offering THE ENTIRE DAMN STREET. wow the Ro’meaves really care about their friends. If the Ro’meaves have so much money why do they even send their kids to pdh why can’t they go to O’Khasis prep they’re literally drowning in cash I was just ranting about this on another blog :)

• i get it this is a slice of life kinda season and it’s mainly centered around comedy but can we still see a bit of character building here like people like Dante and kc and Zane and like three fourth of the cast are severely lacking

• where do Dante and Travis even work?? I know that huge two story house isn’t cheap how do they make all that cash. Can we know what their jobs are since they don’t work at the maid cafe

• I REALLY don’t like that Zane is pretty much only shown with ponies here throughout this season. I’ve said this so many times now. HE HAS MORE CHARACTER THAN THAT. You CANNOT seriously tell me that the defining point of his character is ponies and mlh

• in the series before s3 (I think it was called the bigger move??) we get to see zianna talk about the Ro’meave family business and how Zane has always been more inclined towards it. It would’ve been nice to see it expanded on a bit more in this season considering it’s a huge company and garroth is (probably) set to inherit it and probably needs to like attend meetings or something as practice. and cue the brother angst

• is it really ok for Lucinda to constantly teleport inside people’s houses isn’t that kinda trespassing (I’ll make a post on the magic system here later!!)

• The sk’s are the ONLY people who have their shit together they have like the only decent character development arc. Gene shouldn’t have had a crush on Aphmau after all this time tho. That kinda ruins it

• WHY IS GARRANCE QUEERBAIT

• no seriously why

• WHERE IS VYLAD where did he go

• so many characters like Nicole, kenmur and Emmalyn are never seen again this is sad

• I don’t like how Aaron and Aphmau pretty much stop developing as individual characters and start developing as aarmau from this season. am I the only one who feels this way??

• not that important but

• some of the proportions for the items were WAY off. those cheeseburgers are literally the size of Aphmau‘s head and some objects are bigger (idk if this was intentional)

• why will Zane literally obey Aphmau like she’s god (which she technically is but he doesn’t know that yet) I get it their friends but let him have a bit of a backbone

• ok NO HATE TO THE VA but what is Ivan’s voice. once again no hate. but seriously

• why is every side character so generic looking?? the main cast have so many mods and add ons but they need it more DESPERATELY

• I mean just LOOK at the two dudes next to Ivan

• would it really have taken that long to at least make them not so generic

• also why do those two dudes next to Ivan like never speak why’s he got two mute dudes following him like he’s the boss

• show the sk’s more you cowards

• SHOW THEM

• yay Gene :) Gene hugging Dante is one of the best moments in this season HANDS DOWN

• once again kc’s character gets tossed aside. we don’t really learn anything new about her this season aside from the fact that she cannot be serious but we already knew that. it’s been three seasons and we pretty much know the same things we did in s1

• also can we know a bit more about some of these characters in general? Like Dante, Travis, kc and Zane. hobbies and interests?? Things unique to them?? some of these characters still don’t have many unique traits and they need them

• aarmau breakup was literally because ivan splashed a cat potion in the maid cafe and Aphmau (somehow) asks Aaron if he did it. and bcuz Aaron saw a pic of Zane hugging Aph beforehand (which even friends can do) he got mad at the whole thing and just left. I’m sorry what was going on here. Did this really warrant going back to your parents house?? Reason seems stupid to me. also I don’t like how LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE helps aph with her breakup since she’s in denial but what does she do?? Like nothing. girl pls. After the moms get involved it gets pretty straightforward. I mean they basically fetch him from his parents and bring him back. also wow Aaron’s parents SUCK. Cmon even ZANE got some development there you mean to tell me that the protag didn’t even DO ANYTHING. The person who was supposed to get the most development out of this breakup didn’t get any at all. then what was the point of a breakup if Aphmau didn’t learn anything from it??

what is your otp for your character?:  Canon otp? There really isn’t one, honestly, but I enjoyed the few episodes where Josh was dating (presumably the same) Kitty. I wish we could’ve seen more of him with a consistent lover rather than just have them in passing or have them killed off within the same episode *coUGH* SUSAN *COuGh*. RP-wise, man, I can’t say I have one for that either! I love every ship that I’ve had here. They all bring something new and fun to the table in different ways.

what are you willing to write when it comes to shipping?: Honestly? Just about anything but maybe smut. It sounds like it could be fun, but I’m not confident in my ability to write it and I fear that would come across in my portrayal of Josh. He’s a very confident person when it comes to sex so that wouldn’t work well.

how large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?:  Hmm... maybe 10 years? Assuming Josh is 34, that means his partner would be 24 at youngest or 44 at oldest, and I think that’s a pretty okay gap? Underage is a definite no, and anyone much over 44 is up in the air. Josh doesn’t usually find a lot of interest in anyone very much older than him. (This obviously doesn’t apply to beings from other worlds who may or may not age differently than humans. Does this mean Josh would 100% flirt with and date a Greek goddess? Yes. Yes, it does.)

are you selective when shipping?: Hmm... yes and no. No because Josh is a character who is more likely to have a couple flings with a person than a steady relationship, meaning he’ll be pretty down with getting romantic / sexual with almost anyone if the interest is there. But yes because in order for a long term relationship to form, I feel like there has to be chemistry and understanding there. Kinda depends on what sort of ship you want, I guess, and whether or not you’re up for risking getting yourself into a lot of angst.

how far do steamy moments have to go before they are considered ns.fw?: Probably when the underwear is off. I’d say this varies though. I usually like to tag things before it reaches that point, just in case. Then, of course, when characters actually start having sex and it’s not just foreplay... yeah, I’d rather fade to black.

who are the characters you ship your character with?: For canon ships, I love Josh / Kitty and Josh / Susan. Susan’s episode was horribly written and honestly it should just be re-titled “MAN PAIN”, but I think there’s a seed of sweetness in it and if I could develop that ship and rewrite it to be better, I would. I enjoyed Susan’s character.

For RP ships, I’m currently shipping with Priscilla (an OC), Emmalyn (an OC), Bezi (an OC), Bill (The Last of Us), and something sort of interesting with Tulip (Preacher). I love them all.

does one have to ask to ship with you?: No, I don’t mind if your muse has feelings for mine without asking me first. In fact, I think that’s pretty awesome! Just be aware that my muse might not feel the same straight away. In that instance, it might be best to tell me so we can talk about it. (Slow burns are pretty fun, though!)

how often do you like to ship?: I love ships. A lot. I’m not bothered if ships don’t happen and it’s not like I automatically seek them when I start writing with someone, but I do love them and it’s really the more the merrier for me.

are you ship obsessed or ship more - or - less?: Hmm... Not obsessed, no, but I’d say I like ships more than some people. I just think they’re a lot of fun. 

are you multiship?: Definitely!!

what is your favourite ship in your current fandom?: Unfortunately, WDOA doesn’t give us much of anything substantial, but I’m most partial to Josh and Kitty. Their chemistry was great in what little screentime they had. They remind me of a pair of teenagers. Kitty seemed good for Josh.

finally, how does one ship with you?: *Shia LaBeouf voice* JUST DO IT. Yeah, man, just shoot me a message or a meme, flirt with Josh or lemme know somehow that you’re interested and I’ll probably be good to give it a try! If there’s chemistry, it could turn into a fun ship!

I DON’T THINK Y’ALL ARE READY FOR THIS WILD RIDE, OKAY. ellie and i go back, like WAY BACK to the realm of 2013 when #g.leetwinsrps were still cool and i actually had an rp blog. i have known her for a very, very long time, and for some reason she still wants to associate with me?? idk why??? fun plot times: in those days, i had shamelessly admired her from afar because her santana muse is absolute perfection and i wanted to rp with her her. so when i saw she’d opened up a new group i was like LITERALLY MUST GET IN ON THIS?? and then, for some reason, she decided i was cool enough to be friends with? 

ellie is the kind of person who you can tell any trouble to and she’ll always be there to make it better. she is the ultimate friend who can remind you to take a step back, take a look at yourself, and think about what you can do to fix your problems. i really think that talking to her has made me a more open and honest person, and i always try to be like her. we have had chats about anything and everything, and she’s always pushed me out of my comfort zone to a place where i know i’m being my best self. ellie is that person, though, because she is always trying to make people see the good in themselves when they can’t see it!!! she is an absolute gem of a friend. not to mention, she has the CUTEST DOGGO IN THE ENTIRE WORLD named ringo and one day i’m gonna get a cat named paul mccartney and all will be well, yes good.

ellie also writes the most diverse characters i’ve ever seen in my entire life. all of her muses are so unique, and she’s the master at taking a typical character trope and turning it on its head with her face claim choices, character development, and aesthetic posts. which, by the way, she makes amazing aesthetic posts. you can tell she has a lot of interests by how many characters she plays, and how varied all of their interests are. elizabeth also hardcore does her research– if she wants to portray a character in a certain way, you can be she’s always doing whatever is possible to make them authentic. her characters are always perfectly played, with their own unique voices. i can actually hear them all in my head (what’s that about schizophrenia, dana?) but ellie always makes sure that her characters are perfect. and they are bc SHE’S PERFECT. 

not to mention that there are some ships we’ve had since the very beginning (#EMMALYN) just in different forms, and to this day i will still get emotional over them (#CASSLISE) even if they were a random cracky thing (#SANTLISE) and every time she adds a new muse i’m like GREAT MORE PEOPLE TO PLAY WITH AND FEELINGS TO FEEL. we have so many brotps and otps i can’t even keep track anymore? there’s a reason we have eight million threads together and i will demand eight million more before i’m satisfied. she is an incredible partner to write with and if you’re not currently writing with her i highly suggest you DO THE THING.

totally unrelated but ellie also has amazing taste in music and has introduced me to so many more awesome bands. if you’re not friends with ellie, you’re doing life wrong tbh. she is a peach and will absolutely blow your mind in so many ways. she is an incredibly beautiful soul and i am so happy to have her ray of positive sunshine in my life always

Markus hadn’t even went out of sight from the house, when he met Emmalyn Gold, the teen whose family he had helped two weeks ago and who was now running a blog dedicated to his “numerous” kitchen fires.

Markus: “You! About the last person I want to see right now!”

Emmalyn: “When do you ever want to see people? You haven’t talked to your fans even once ever since I started DetroitInFlames. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother adding posts.”

Markus: “Oh, drop it already, kid! It was ONE fire.”

Emmalyn: “Yes, and my followers know that. I play it up for the lulz. See, you are that perfect, intimidating RK android. But your kitchen misshaps make you relateable. Human. Probably not much longer, though, if you keep evading my site.”

Markus: “Wait, that’s you angle? I thought you were gloating!”

Emmalyn: “Why would I? You helped my family settle in, so naturally I’d want to repay the favor. But I’m just a student, and all I could thought of was this social media gig. Never expected it to go THAT well! Sure, I get the occasional Ew, android comment, but all in all the haters have other places where they can pat each others’ shoulders.”

Markus: “Well, the haters crossed a line...”

Emmalyn: “What happened?”

Markus: “I’ll tell you on the way back to Manfred residence. Are you ready for your first lifestream? With two, maybe three guests?”

Markus: “Great! Me neither. But we’ll manage, somehow.”

Our story

My name is Regan Lynn Edkin. I’m a 17 year old girl from the Illinois region. This blog is about how much i love my girlfriend Emmalyn Grace Mueller, of whom i plan to make Emmalyn Grace Edkin. This is our lovely story:

We met about a year ago officially. we were both in DDA (Dramatic Duet Acting) for our school’s speech teams. We competed against each other and noting too eventful happened. Right from the first time i saw her, she caught my eye. She has these adorable little freckles that dot her everywhere, and her eyes are gorgeous, and her smile lights up my day. I watched her intently. I made sure to figure out her name, mesmerized by its beauty. and hers, of course. I spent many nights stalking all the social media accounts of hers i could find. We didn’t connect at all. i was too chicken and afraid to make a fool of myself. A few weeks after i saw her for the first time i saw her again, in my school. i was so baffled that i was able to run into her again. she was so sweet and so beautiful. she talked to my friend and me, who were both roaming the halls, waiting for a scholastic bowl tournament. she striked up a conversation about speech and other things. she was so sweet and easy to talk to and so. fucking. gorgeous. most of the conversation was me trying not to stare. we parted ways and i hoped i would be able to see her again that day. that never happened. i went home that night and slaved over her every word, searching for an innuendo that she may be gay or even have a crush on me. of course, i didnt find one. slowly but surely i moved on, ultimately forgetting her and the very little time we had shared.

flash forward, a lot of time, to 11/7/16. it was the day of our regions TRAC Invitational. long explanation short: TRAC is the schools’ in our specific regions top musical students coming together to form a band and a choir for one day. we practice a lot and perform at the end of the day. i was in the choir and she was in the band. while practicing with the choir i noticed a cute soprano that i wanted to talk to. i tried my best to get the nerve to ask her out, but ultimately failed. I told my friend about how i liked her curly hair and her hazel eyes. she told me to write her a note and give it to her at the end of the performance, right before we left to go back to our school, so i wouldn’t have to say anything after she read it. lol i have no guts. Anyways, she apparently read the note, and was appreciative of my kind words, but ultimately not interested. TURNS OUT she was Em’s best friend. SO she told Em what happened and Em said “that’s great, but since youre not interested can you give her my number and tell her i think shes cute. so her friend (mari) texted me that night explaining. I was very hesitant in texting Emmalyn. i remembered her beauty and knew that i wanted to talk to her. i was afraid i would fall too hard or get the completely wrong idea. i was afraid to love and get hurt again. I texted her anyways. i threw all worries to the wind and texted her anyways. and that was the best decision i have ever made. we talked freely and happily for about a week. talking about dates and staying up as late as our tired eyes could handle. it was so raw and lovely and full of newness and i wanted to learn everything that i possibly could. at the end of that week her mom found out. Upset that she lied, she took away her phone. long nights turned into patchy talks through her friends at school or other events. Yet, my love never wavered. it only grew. and grew and grew. as soon as i could talk to her again (Monday, November 14th), i asked her out. i was afraid she would say no, but at that point i didnt care. i needed to be able to call her my girlfriend and tell everyone that she was mine. i needed it.

We went on, talking as much as we could and trying to make plans. I longed to see her as much as i possibly could. The times we were able to meet up will be different posts. Nowadays the love of my life and i dont talk at all. We decided to stop so we could win back the trust of our mothers, so we could have a stronger, healthier relationship. It fucking sucks. I miss her more than i can explain. I wish I could tell her how much I love her

Every night I think about holding her and kissing her and it makes me cry. I try to shelter my heart as best as I can and I have always felt the need to be strong, but with her I am putty. I never cry, but these last couple of days when I haven’t been able to talk to her the tears haven’t stopped coming.

I plan on spending the rest of my life loving the most amazing person I’ve ever met. I feel so lucky. I’m so glad she is in my life.
