In my MCD rewrite that I’m working on, lavender is a huge deal because of its connections to Irene, and so you will see it in a lot of churches and nobles’ homes. Emmalyn had managed to get some Lavender seeds and planted them in her yard. While she absolutely despises the Church of Irena (which is one of the biggest powerhouses in Ru’aun btw) due to constant hypocrisy and bigotry, she still worships Lady Irene.

When Emmalyn returned back to Phoenix Drop after 15 years, the little lavender patch that she planted in her yard had become a vast lavender field.

Emmalyn would write little love poems and leave them on the nightstand for Kenmur to read when he wakes up in the morning

I shall patiently wait for the day that someone does an MCD rewrite and has Emmalyn make Aphmau pay rent

In my Mcd rewrite, Emmalyn knows how to fight both physically and verbally. Donna taught her basic martial arts when they met after Emmalyn left the church of Irena. Emmalyn wins at a lot fistfights; usually against priests and priestesses. Emmalyn also uses her foldable fan as a weapon.

Donna and Emmalyn are pretty much the only nurses in Phoenix Drop at the beginning of MCD. Donna deals with stitching wounds and recovery while Emmalyn deals with disinfectants and medicine; basically having an apothecary in her library. If Donna is out of town, Emmalyn can stitch up or cauterize wounds even though it makes her squeamish seeing and smelling a lot blood. If Emmalyn is out of town, Donna has a spare key to Emmalyn’s home and can get the medicine and disinfectants that she needs.

In my MCD rewrite, Emmalyn is an ex-nun, you wanna know why? Because she's the coolest character in MCD, damn it! That and I'm working on my backstory for her in my rewrite since she is one of the main characters there.

When Aphmau was living with Emmalyn, a lot of the time she slept in Emmalyn’s bed; spooning Emmalyn while asleep, and Emmalyn didn't mind it nor questioned it what so ever

Emmalyn would spend hours styling Aphmau's hair

When Emmalyn spends hours researching or writing, Kenmur likes to walk up behind and gives her a back massage, and Emmalyn just melts like butter

Emmalyn likes to knead on Kenmur's stomach to help with the bad period cramps that he has to deal with…

Emmalyn has a calico cat named Mimolette and Aphmau often steals Mimolette from Emmalyn’s library so that she can she can worship it for good luck.
