I’ve made this exact post at least 5 times since playing KH3, but it is so FUNNY how Sora starts that scene looking at Riku, asking about Riku, thinking about Riku… The way he startles and reels back when Kairi shoves the paopu fruit in his face because he’s wrapped up in thoughts about Riku. And then he proceeds to not vibe at all with Kairi’s flirting. No smile. No excitement. Just palpable discomfort. Nomura did not have to do that. Comedy.
#and also tragedy because riku is giving them space/does not realize sora is thinking about him and wants him there#one’s always looking when the other isn’t…#soriku#i feel bad for the ppl who shipped sora and kairi from the start. waited 20 years for this scene and that was it. i would’ve been so pissed
