I have come to...settled with Case 2-3 and the shenanigans, and here is why.
The motive for all three cases so far has to do with the lost memories (with the exception of Nagito, who didn't actually kill anyone).
Teru Teru murdered Byakuya because he wanted to know what happened to his mom during his missing time.
Peko killed Mahiru (on Fuyuhiko's behalf) because they believed Mahiru was involved in the murder of Fuyuhiko's sister - a murder that Fuyuhiko had forgotten about and for which, in those memories, he had already killed someone else.
Mikan killed Ibuki (and Hiyoko) because she regained her memories and reverted to her self that is in love with Junko.
They're all memory related because right now, while Monokuma is definitely wanting everyone to kill each other, he's also very much trying to get them to remember themselves and who they became so they can become those people again (people who, as evidenced by Mikan, would be totally cool with killing each other). Regaining their memories is a triumph over what Future Foundation is trying to accomplish; it's less about the murder and more about screwing over FF and getting his peeps back.
As opposed to the first game, where none of the motives have to do with the missing memories because none of them know they have memories to miss (other than Kirigiri). Each of those motives has to be more tied into the characters as they are then because the goal is suspicion and murder for the entertainment of the masses and to increase despair worldwide.
The goal in this game isn't global despair. It's getting the gang back together and turning them back into who they were before. It isn't really even about despair. This game is about hope - about different nurture leading to different outcome and about Monokuma trying to prove that can't happen. It's not about corrupting the hope of the world. It's about redeeming the despair.
(Which makes Nagito's turnabout later such a big deal - even though I haven't gotten there - because while Nagito may be all about hope, he has no hope in redemption. Once they've fallen into despair, there's no way they can become anything else. That's why they all have to die. But they prove over and over again that they have hope and hope in each other and hope in getting off. These people likely wouldn't kill each other without those additional memories as a motive (Nagito being the exception) - which is why Monokuma has to keep screwing with things.
Because oddly enough, despite being the Fragments of Despair, they wouldn't kill each other for the reasons the characters in DR1 would. They're friends. They start as friends.
DR1 cast starts as enemies. And they treat each other accordingly. (With perhaps the exception of Chihiro's death. Which had nothing to do with Chihiro, really, and everything to do with Mondo's own insecurities. But again - that's selfishness coming into play. The characters in DR1 are so incredibly selfish, right off the bat. The characters in DR2...aren't.)

Oooh~ I got one for either Mod, how about a one shot with Ibuki with her Tsundere boyfriend from the earlier ask. Where her friends mahiri, Mikan and Hiyoko wonder why she's with her boyfriend seeing how he acts all the time and she just responds that she thinks he's adorable. Then later on while he and Ibuki are in private he starts getting all affectionate verbally and physically saying that he loves her. U know to both of them Ibuki's friends caught a glimpse of his affection side.
ibuki x tsundere bf
fandom: danganronpa

"You know, I really don't get why you're dating that guy."
A shrill voice followed Ibuki as she made her way past the fountain outside of Hope's Peak. Hiyoko and Mikan always walked Ibuki to school since the three of them lived close by. Mikan trailed just behind Hiyoko, in the background as usual, while Mahiru trotted next to Hiyoko.
"Y- you're right... He- he doesn't seem... boyfriend material..." Mikan added, voice trembling as always. She played with her fingers while she spoke.
"No one asked your opinion, pigshit," Hiyoko retorted, rolling her eyes. Mikan whimpered in response to the insult, pursing her lips.
As they reached the entrance of the academy, Ibuki whirled around to face the three.
"You've got it all wrong, Mikan. All I need is someone who likes fun, and someone who likes music. My boyfriend likes both, so I'm all set!" Ibuki grinned from ear to ear as she thought about her lover, excited for their date later that day.
"I have to agree with Mikan and Hiyoko, I just haven't seen him act anything at all like a boyfriend to you," Mahiru chimed in, awkwardly playing with her hair. Hiyoko nodded, throwing an arm around her best friend. All Ibuki did was smile back at them, shaking her head.
"All you need to know is that he treats me well. And he's real cute!" With a wink, Ibuki turned around and bounded into the school, heading for their homeroom. The three girls exchanged looks with each other, before following her inside.
"Doesn't she have a date with him today? At the cafe?" Mahiru wondered aloud. Hiyoko puckered her lips, thinking, then let out a gasp like she had an idea.
"I know! Let's go spy on them! We'll get to see what they are like with each other!"
Mikan frowned. "Um, I- I don't think Ibuki would like that..." She was quickly met with a pair of angry eyes.
"I said no one asked for your opinion, ugly bitch! Didn't you hear me?" Hiyoko rolled her eyes, before turning back to Mahiru. "Are you in?"
"Sure. Sounds like fun." Mahiru responded with a shrug. Locking eyes with Mikan, she added, "It'll be okay, Mikan. It's a public place, if she sees us we'll just pretend we already had plans." Mikan would be lying if she said she wasn't curious, but the pat on the shoulder Mahiru was giving her wasn't helping the guilt.
The day went by slowly. Ibuki's boyfriend attended Hope's Peak, but was in a different class, so the girls had to wait to see the two interact until after school. Once the final bell had rung, the three followed Ibuki from a distance as she went to retrieve you from your class.
Peeking around the corner, Mahiru, Mikan, and Hiyoko watched Ibuki greet you.
"Hey, babe! Let's get going, I'm sooo hungry!" Ibuki rubbed her stomach dramatically, before grabbing your hand and dragging you away.
Meanwhile...
"Okay, they're holding hands," Hiyoko narrated as the spies walked from Hope's Peak to the cafe date site.
"Seems like a normal couple activity," Mahiru added, staring through a pair of binoculars. "Oh! Now he's got an arm around her. Aww."
Hiyoko snatched the binoculars away, watching for herself. "Hm. I'm still not convinced. We'll have to wait until they get inside."
You and Ibuki finally reached the cafe. You walked slightly in front of her, reaching for the door and holding it open, allowing her to go inside first. Ibuki immediately bounded over to the jukebox, as she always does when she first enters this cafe. It's her favorite because it had great music selections.
The three girls reached the cafe soon after, staking out beneath the giant windows. They watched as you walked alone to the front counter, where an employee greeted you. You ordered two drinks, your favorite and your girlfriend's favorite. Once you had paid, Ibuki already found a nice table in the corner. You decided to wait until the drinks were made, so you could bring them over to her.
Ibuki sat with her head in her hands, propped up on her elbows, and kicking her feet under the table. Her wide eyes met yours, absolutely sick with love. When you set down her preferred drink, a milkshake, she took the straw between her fingers and twirled it around.
"You're so sweet for remembering my favorite drink, babe" she reached out for your hand, lifting it up to her cheek and nuzzling it.
Throughout your date, the two of you talked and talked about your day, your next date, each other. You reached across the table and took your girlfriend's face in your hands, and she melted into your touch.
Meanwhile, three girls started screeching outside.
"I love you so much, darling," you cooed, eyes softening as Ibuki leaned into your hands. "You make my day so much better."
She giggled, placing her hands over yours to hold them in place. Soon, she felt a buzz in her pocket.
'I take back everything I said. You guys are cute together' the text read. Your girlfriend smiled at Hiyoko's message, before slipping her phone back in her pocket. She knew the three were going to spy on her. She was just glad she wouldn't have to deal with their conspiring anymore.
"I love you too."

I don't get all the Sonia hate
I know there's a lot of criticism raised against the sdr2 survivors (a lot of which I feel isn't really fair), but most of it is against Sonia.
Admittedly, her character arc isn't near comparable to Fuyuhiko or Hajime but I think its kind of close to Akane's. Likewise, why would you say that Sonia didn't get a character arc when Kazuichi is right there.
I'm gonna talk about him first because sometimes he annoys me. Sometimes.
Kazuichi has some of the clearest character flaws out of everyone, the only people who are more clearly flawed are Fuyuhiko, Nagito, and Hiyoko. They all have this addressed several times in the narrative, even if they don't fully develop from it in the end. Kazuichi doesn't even really have it acknowledged by the narrative. It's been a while since I've played his FTEs, but a key part of that is that he's got trust issues and he's a coward. He's still a coward at the end, but I don't care too much about that. What's worse is that he still can't trust others.
At times, it's suggested that he outgrows his trust issues, with how clingy he can be with Fuyuhiko and Hajime. Yet, he'll still turn on either of them at the drop of a hat. Kazuichi suspects Fuyuhiko a lot during the fifth trial, and very openly voices that without hesitation. He still doesn't trust him.
Still he spends more time with Hajime throughout the story and turns on him far more often. Not only does he accuse him of being the traitor constantly in chapter four due to the advice of someone he knows he shouldn't trust, but he clearly still thinks this until the beginning of chapter five.
The two worst cases of this that go unaddressed is trial five (again) and chapter six. Of the cast, he's the only one to immediately blame Chiaki for being the traitor, accusing her of tricking them. The others are only willing to believe she's the traitor because they trust her first and foremost. Not him. He takes it and runs without to doubt the entirety of Chiaki's character.
Again, this would be fine if he ever grew from it.
Yet, not only does no one really care about it, but he does it again in chapter six. When Hajime's accused of being the mastermind, he's the first to accuse him of tricking them. In contrast, Sonia says that she doesn't want any last minute plot twists (I'll come back to this later). He doesn't apologise for being so sceptical and everyone just knows this is how Kazuichi is at his core.
He comes out of chapter six having being the same person he was in chapter one, just having cried a little more.
Now onto Sonia.
Sonia is relatively actively compared to most other characters. She sets up the get together between the girls in chapter 2, trying to bond with them all in the way that no one else has really been doing in Imposter's absence. She's more upset than most others for Mahiru's death and seems to feel more guilt and responsibility for that. It seems those feelings directly lead into her being more active during the investigation and later contributing a good amount of evidence in the trial.
Even if she's not as active in chapter three and four, there's still substance for her here.
I always liked how the connection between her and Gundham felt real. They're both kind of dweebs who get a chance to bond over their shared interests, especially since they are each somewhat different from the rest of the cast. Obviously Gundham speaks in a way that no one else does and people generally don't take him seriously because of it, but Sonia's a foreigner who doesn't really understand the culture that she's in. What's more, she's never been treated normally even in her home country. Kazuichi pushes that narrative of her difference; Gundham doesn't care. The romance is cute without being too over the top.
Kazuichi never has any meaningful relationship with another character (that isn't entirely one sided). He's the only survivor who doesn't do so and thus loses the chances for emotion.
Sonia's actual character development doesn't start until the end of chapter four and well into chapter five. I think this is more so because of the cast I think that Sonia's more down to earth in the fact that her character flaws aren't glaringly obvious. She's overly emotional to the point that it inhibits her ability to act in a rational way, but this only becomes clear as the game continues and she actually becomes closer to the others. She defends Gundham, but she also is the only one to defend Nagito in trial 4 because she - in one way another - has faith in his character.
It starts with not just Gundham's sacrifice but the reason that he did it. Gundham believed in living.
Sonia doesn't just cry over Gundham, but she takes what he said to her to heart. Like Fuyuhiko, she takes what the person she loved thought seriously. She carried Gundham's wishes for her survival and everyone else's through into chapter five and refuses to give up as a result. Even when the others do, she doesn't just follow what they think but is trying to outsmart Nagito. Even if she fails, she keeps going. Her lack of faith in Kazuichi's more aggressive solution makes her use her own intelligence and the logical people she can trust (Hajime) to continue taking matters into her own hands without undermining the decision of the others.
But still, despite her efforts, she's still flawed by the end of chapter five. She, along with the others, fails to stop Nagito. She struggles against Chiaki's confession more than anyone else.
In chapter six, she's grown since the start of the game. When Hajime is accused of being the mastermind, although she's unwilling to believe such a thing, she's no longer too emotional to even consider the idea. She's grown, but not quite enough yet; she wants to cling onto a fake image of the past than the future. Gundham told her to keep living and so did Chiaki but, for a moment, she wants to see them both again. She still has her overly emotional mannerisms, but the influence of Chiaki and Hajime in the end pushes her to overcome it, just as she grew throughout the story to be capable of.
Although pretty subtle, her choice at the end is one of the most meaningful to her overall journey.
I thinks there's one final thing to be said in that she came to Hope's Peak, in a way, to hone her talents and become queen. But, instead, at the end, she's left with no kingdom to inherit by the time she's grown up enough to be capable of it. I think she's another testament to a character being more than a talent; choosing themselves over talents, just like Hajime. She grew into her own person in the end independent of everything she had come from.
Anyways, she's definitely worthy of having survived the game. And, for the record, I still like Soda.

What if Future arc had exactly two more characters? (Sato AU)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kameyoshi Sato:
He is a cold, emotionless and heartless guy who has prefered logic thinking over emotional one, or at least on the outside: Kameyoshi wears a shock wrist collar in which, everytime he shows an emotion/too much of it, he gets shocked.
The reason he berates and hates Haruka as mush as he does, is because before she was part of the family, he had another sister that he unfoetunately lost to a car accident back when he was around 6. So the Sato family decided to adopt Haruka Sakakura from the Sakakura family.
When he met her, he saw her sister on her, but he wanted to deny it, he wanted to deny that someone could replace her. So he berates and talks bad to her as a coping mechanism and denyalism.
Haruka Sato:
Juzo's biological sister and Kameyoshi's adopted one. Haruka has humbled herself throughout the years of the tragedy, but she still has some anger issues and coldness in herself. But she is now nicer and more understandable in terms of mental issues.
She gets extremely mad and somewhat jealous when her brother acts nicer to people around them more than her. Its more or less because she never got the same treatment of him.
Which is why she has a little grudge on Seiko, not because she doesnt like him, but because she gets treated better than her. Same with Makoto as Kameyoshi praised him for his hope, but she changed her mind abt him after he did what he did and both of their opinions switched.
Plot:
Both Haruka and Kameyoshi survive the tragedy, Haruka survives after going into hiding and switching schools for the murder of Natsumi. And Kameyoshi because he got involved with the Seiko-Ruruka fight by defending Seiko and saying it must have been a set-up against her.
Since they weren't at HPA, neither would get involved in its tragedy in it. And eventually would get scouted and join the Future Foundation, with Kameyoshi as the lead head and Haruka as his assistant.
They help the foundation with the capturing of the ROD members; they're the ones that capture Mahiru, Hiyoko and Ibuki, much to Haruka's distain and heartbreak.
Of course, they also have to be part of Makoto's trial, while originally Kameyoshi was the only one supposed to be there, Haruka begged him to go too as she also wanted to know the rods fates. He reluctantly agreed after a lot of time.
Their views on what they should do to the ROD members are, of course, opposite of each other:
Kameyoshi wants to exterminate all of them since they were the cause of his parents death, but he excuses it as they are just a big threat. And immediately agrees with Juzo and especially Seiko to execute Makoto for that.
While Haruka wants to keep them alive and sides with Makoto since Mahiru is part of that group. But she is obviously shunned since she is not only an assistant, but they bring up the fact that she was a reserve course student which signified how little important she is in the foundations vocal opinions.
Everything goes the same until after Daisaku's death where they all split up. Kamayoshi gord with Seiko since they are both, surpisingly, good friends. He was originally going to make Haruka accompany them, but he saw that she escaped and left when Kyoko threw the fire extinguisher. After Seiko dies in the second time limit, he temporarily teams up with Kyosuke and Juzo to hunt down Makoto's group, as all of them have someone theyre against in that group.
Haruka joins Makoto's group before the first time limit comes on, when they're blocking the entrance. At first they're skeptical of her, but she reminds them that Mahiru was her best friend and that she is on Makoto's side. She stays with them until her death, where Kameyoshi activates her NG code by shooting her in the stomach, which the bracelet classifies the bullet as a weapon.
After she berates Kamayoshi in her last breath like how she treated strangers better than her, and that its obvious she'll never be like her (Kamayoshi's biological sister) and that she thought that he had some heart left, but she seemed like she was wrong. He decides to put the gun in his mouth and, with the last bullet, shoots himself.

Yan! Hajime
Cw: Yandere themes, Gn!Reader, Hiyoko bullies Darling in the beginning, mentions of Hajime giving up at the last trial, Two people get hurt,
-Ultimate Crocheter!Darling
-When he first meets you, he knows that he needs to protect you.
-Hiyoko was bullying you for your ‘soft’ and ‘passive’ look. You like to make your own cardigan, there is nothing wrong with that. >:T
-Hiyoko lowkey starts treating you like Mikan.
-You start crying cause you didn’t do anything???? Why is this child calling you pig barf???? How are you a whore????
-Hajime comes up and distracts Hiyoko by introducing himself so that you can run.
-But you manage to calm down enough to catch back up to speed.
-You absolutely put Hiyoko in her place. But in more of a “You shouldn’t judge people by what they wear Hiyoko. What happens if you mess up and get yourself into some serious trouble? You’re gonna have me all worried about you.” way.
-He falls right there and then. That’s it.
-Would be passive but slowly leans to protective.
-Starts bringing you loads and loads of gifts. Far too many rings.
-Starts spending all his free time with you. Often sulks sleeps when you’re busy.
-Perks up immediately when you are in the room, everyone sees it.
-Nagito’s the worst about it in the game when he find’s out Hajime’s a Reserve Course Student.
-“Darling, Why bother with someone so below your shining hope?”
-Hajime’s pissed.
-He would not kill anyone. Ever. Let’s just get that settled.
-He WOULD absolutely rock someone’s shit though.
-He absolutely would have punched Nagito in the face and then profusely apologize.
-“Darling, I’m so sorry. He just… got under my skin and I couldn’t help it. Please don’t be upset.”
-If you don’t forgive him he is devastated and quickly gives in during the last trial.
-If Teruteru so much as touches you, Mikan looses a nights sleep making sure he’s alive.
-He is and now he stays very far away from you.
-He would however keep you away from anyone he thought could/would/might harm you or take interest in you.
-No being alone with Nagito(chap2 onwards/no despair AU.), Fuyuhiko(chapt.0-3), Kazuichi, or Teruteru without him. Period.
-He will be upset if not, but he’d like to be in the room with you if you’re alone with Gundham, Peko, Hiyoko, Nekomaru, Akane, or Fuyuhiko (4-future/no despair AU).
-Often trusts you alone with Mikan, Sonia, Mahiru, and Twogami.

(To Mikan) How were you and Hiyoko able to reconcile? Especially after all the...bullying? Sorry for asking, but this has been on my mind for a bit, and I needed some clarification.
Tumblr media
Well, it all sort of happened after we woke up from Jabberwock Island, and then during the Novoselic Revolution is when it all came ahead.
Tumblr media
After the Killing Game was over...Hiyoko didn't pay me as much mind as she usually did. She stopped bullying me, but...she didn't really pay attention to me either.
Tumblr media
After I pretended to turn against the Novoselic group, Hiyoko realized that I'd taken advantage of her distrust for me and...apologized to me.
Tumblr media
It was a quick apology. But I had a lot of things on my mind at the time, and I confessed to Ibuki on the same night, so there was a lot going on. I think the way it happened was simple and good enough.
Tumblr media
I would be lying if I said I didn't still have some ill feelings. I mean, it's hard to move on from the sort of pain I've been put through but...
Tumblr media
She's hardly the first, and DEFINITELY not the worst...And I know that she really does want to be my friend, and is really a good person. Just misguided. And besides, it's not like what she's said about me was entirely wrong.
Tumblr media
So yeah, there are still some feelings. But we're family. It's how we do things.
——————————————————————
Tumblr media
Mikan killing me in the Killing Game happened when she was under the influence of the Despair Disease. As much as I might want to hold it against her, I know it wasn't her fault, but...it was still an eye-opener, especially when coupled with Mahiru's death.
Tumblr media
Once it was all over and we got back to reality, things had changed massively. Our lives were difficult and...I didn't even have the strength to make it harder for everyone.
Tumblr media
I've always kicked others down in the past because I've always felt small. But all that happened forced me to face myself, and I realize just how horrible I've been.
Tumblr media
I still despise people like Mikan, or at least what she was when I first met her. People who make others think they're weak so that they can garner sympathy, and that's a big reason why I did what I did, and put an innocent mask over my foul mouth. Because I could goad people into disliking it too.
Tumblr media
But...God, the things I said to her...and did to her and...even if I didn't like her, that wasn't an excuse to treat her like trash. I was just trying to make myself feel better about everything.
Tumblr media
I'm disgusted and ashamed of myself looking back now, since all she's done after the Killing Game was show kindness, empathy, and helped me get back on my feet when I scraped my knee or something. I may have been raised to be competitive, harsh and judgmental, but that doesn't make it right.
Tumblr media
And that all got worse when I finally found out WHY Mikan was the way she was. It made me realize that we were more similar than I wanted to admit, and...seeing how much she's suffered at the hands of bullies made me want to cry.
Tumblr media
Mikan, even though I know she still has reservations about me, has only ever wanted to ease my pain while all I've done is add to hers.
Tumblr media
If there's one thing we both understand it's...It's hard changing who you are. Taking that step to becoming a new, more agreeable person, despite your faults. But I know now that I want to be someone like her. Who lifts people up instead of dragging them down.

I just read your cat like reader prompt and I'm hoping to request a continuation of it with Kirumi, Maki, Sonia and mahiru
Kirumi, Maki, Sonia and Mahiru with an S/O who has cat-like tendencies.
Tumblr media
Kirumi Tojo
-With her calm and almost cold attitude she’s not one to play into your personality. Early on in the relationship it’ll feel more like she’s your servant rather than your partner.
-Once the two of you make it though that awkward patch, Kirumi will be more warm and affectionate. She’ll pat the top of your head, hold you while stroking your back. Though these affections will only be seen behind closed doors. Kirumi cares deeply about your safety and her professional position.
-Kirumi isn’t very fond of your habit of climbing on top of furniture. It makes her worry. If she were to catch you somewhere high up, she’ll lightly chastise you. Telling you how you could’ve gotten hurt up there.
Being a maid, Kirumi comes across many boxes. She’ll be sure to offer them before tossing them out. She has even made a variety of blankets and pillows for when you decide to curl up somewhere.
Maki Harukawa
-In the early stages of her crush, she’ll treat you like you’re a burden. Scoffing at you, asking if you wanted to die when you brushed up against her body. Deep down she couldn’t fight the warmth she felt. Your friendliness was a bright and shining beacon in her otherwise depressing life.
-Maki wasn’t given much affection growing up. Your affectionate gestures and cuddling makes her very flustered. She’ll weakly threaten you, looking away as a blush covers her cheeks. She would reciprocate your affections in small doses; linking pinkies in an empty hallway, buying you a snack from the school store, or sitting close enough for your knees to be touching.
-Kokichi would tease the two of you all the time. “Aw, how cute. Maki’s little cat has her all soft now!” She’s about three more teasing remarks away from punching him in the throat.
-When you climb on top of something or hide away in a box, Maki just knows. She can somehow locate where you are like a sixth sense. She’ll tell you to be careful, but other than that you have free range of the counters. In the event you do fall, nine times out of ten she’ll be there to catch you.
Sonia Nevermind
-She thinks you’re just the cutest! Before the two of you were even together, she’ll pet and coo at you. Sonia would be the type to call your attention like she would a cat, she thinks it’s just too adorable. Your classmates were practically gagging at how sappy you guys were.
-Sonia takes any of your affection with open arms no matter where you are. She’ll pull you into her lap in the middle of class with no shame. Though if you were to ask for her to tone it down she will.
-With her almost sickening amounts of money, Sonia would buy you all the boxes you could ask for, including any pillows, blankets, or comforters you’d want. She cuddles up with you in a pile of blankets, leaving dozens of lipstick kisses on your forehead.
-Upon seeing you lounging somewhere high up, she’d panic. Asking for you to come down so you wouldn’t hurt yourself. If her asking won’t deter you from climbing up dangerous places, she’ll do her best to be there to catch you.
Mahiru Koizumi
-At first she’d find you pretty annoying, saying the way you acted was childish. She’d reprimand you for acting so silly. Something about the way you would laze about, ticked something off in her. Once getting to know you better, she’d still be on your case but more willing to let things slide.
-She prefers to keep affection in a more private setting, though if you were to be persistent she’d let you snuggle up to her. Mahiru is used to Hiyoko’s constant clinging, so you’d be another cuddly addition.
-On the topic of the traditional dancer, Hiyoko would be pretty mean to you. Yelling about how you’re trying to take away Mahiru from her, berating you at any chance. It would take a small argument between her and Mahiru to see how much you mean to the photographer. From then on, she’d cling onto you as well, calling you her big sibling and asking you to help tie her kimono.
-While Mahiru is more lenient on your lazy habits, climbing onto things is not something she favors. “(Name)! Get down from there!” is something you’ll be used to hearing. She will try to climb whatever you’re resting on and drag you off. “Geez! Are you trying to get hurt?”

Can we get Hiyoko with an S/O who likes to pamper her with affection and attention but also doesn't put up with her being mean to mikan?
About time someone does what Mahiru should've done in the game
Hiyoko Saionji With an S/O Who Is Affectionate With Her, but Doesn't Approve of Her Bullying
Tumblr media
Honestly, she was such a spoiled princess about it at first
She soaked up your affection like a sponge
Whenever she wanted it, anyway
You were kind, you were gentle, and you gave her all the attention she wanted
After some time, she just believed that you would give her anything she wanted, and that she never had to worry about any consequences
Which is why it surprised her when you saw her bullying Mikan and decided to step in
"Hiyoko, stop. She didn't do anything wrong."
In response to that, she could only stare at you in shock
"Wh-What did you just say?"
"I said cut it out. She just tripped. There's no reason to make fun of her for it."
You were calm, but firm
After that, you turned around and helped Mikan up before turning back to Hiyoko
"Now, why don't you apologize?"
Hiyoko looked at you in rage
"What the hell are you even saying?! You're supposed to be on my side! Look at that disgusting pig! You're really choosing her over me?!"
"I'm not picking sides, Hiyoko. But I won't allow you to treat anyone like this, especially not her."
After that, she stomped away with tears in her eyes
How dare you, her sweet, affectionate partner, betray her like that?
The next day, you expected her to be back to normal, but she continued to hold a grudge
She took her anger out on Mikan, and the bullying got even worse
Finally, you had enough
You pulled her aside and, in a much more frustrated tone, told her that enough was enough, and that you were done with her acting like a brat
She only looked at you in shock before bursting into tears and apologizing over and over
She couldn't stand you being mad at her anymore
You reminded her of her father
After that, you pulled her close to you and pet her head to calm her down
You calmly asked her to apologize and leave Mikan alone from now on, and she agreed
Once she did, you returned to your usual affectionate self
And instead of just soaking it up, Hiyoko genuinely appreciated it

Remember anything else?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then after that, it's when I came into the picture, right?
Tumblr media
Yeah and the mood wasn't great, I... do remember the girls were not happy about it, especially Mahiru...
...
...
...
Date: July 24th, 2011
*At lunch, the girls were sitting together outside*
Tumblr media
So... about that new student, I mean... you all heard from the teacher?
Tumblr media
Yeah I did... it seems to be from the Reserve Course...
Tumblr media
Ah yeah, one of those pathetic low life scumbags is gonna replace the murderer, only if we got rid of that other one - we just need to accept this new kid.
Tumblr media
And frankly I'm looking forward to pick on that one, besides if they are just as pathetic as the trashy skank over here, then I know whoever this bitch is - they'll be fun to break and learn their place!
Tumblr media
Well given how they are treated by the school, I'm not sure if they'll hate us or not. I even went over when that earthquake and tsunami hit a few months back, they all seem pretty nice.
Tumblr media
Ah right and after that, they got pissed at you for taking all the credit for what you did; the low life Reserve Course students need to get over themselves!
Tumblr media
Hey... you 2 aren't speaking very much more then usual...
*all the girls turn towards Mahiru and Peko*
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Mahiru...? Peko...? You both seem quiet, are you 2 still upset over what happen to Hatomi?
Tumblr media
...Sorry, I need to excuse myself, it's hard to talk about this so excuse me for a moment... *Peko got up and walk away*
Tumblr media
Sorry, it's just... it's been 2 weeks since Hatomi died and the school is suddenly replacing her, how...how is that fair...?
Tumblr media
Well I'm not sure either, Mahiru. Given the school won't do much with Fuyuhiko and given he threaten us, there's not much we can do...
Tumblr media
Yeah, honestly the best thing we can do is just move on and accept this new kid.
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Move on? Are you telling me to move on Akane, do you realize that my best friend just died?!
Tumblr media
Huh, well I mean yeah - I know that I was just-.
Tumblr media
Like what? Your just gonna tell me there wasn't anything I could of done? Or are you gonna just pretend that Hatomi and Natsumi drop out, how... how can you move on that easily, do you even care at all Akane?!
Tumblr media
Whoa hey hey, I do care! You don't need to snap at me, I was just saying that yeah it sucks, but we should move on!
Tumblr media
Then you never gave a single damn about us, huh?! You never care, it's always food and fighting with you! Hell, the fact your the one that gave her the idea to confront Natsumi, if you didn't then she would of been alive, it's all your fault!
Tumblr media
...!
Tumblr media
Whoa whoa, hey c'mon and stop that! We don't need to start fighting like this man!
Tumblr media
Mahiru, look I understand your upset but yelling at Akane won't help; after all, none of us didn't even know this would happen! So frame from yelling at the others; your scaring Hiyoko and Mikan!
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...Sorry, I...I think I'll go too, sorry for ruining lunch guys... *Mahiru gets up and walks away too*
'Honestly, none of us were ready for you; it was 2 weeks since 2 people died and we weren't ready...'

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu: Hogwarts AU
Tumblr media
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu is a Pureblood wizard that was born on the 16th of August 1970 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1981, being sorted into Gryffindor House.
He has a Fir wand with a Dragon Heartstring core.
His Patronus is non-corporeal.
His favorite subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts and his least favorite subject is Divination.
He was Gryffindor's Seeker from his fifth year onward.
Fuyuhiko is initially incredibly stand-offish and rude to the other students at Hogwarts. He claims he's not going to play at being friends with anyone, and when he is questioned about this in his second year, he states clearly that he would not hesitate to kill any one of the others. He makes frequent references to his Pureblood background and seems adamant at presenting a lone wolf attitude. Fuyuhiko doesn't simply want to make friends but considers it not worth his time and beneath him. Despite this, as early as his second year, he shows signs of this perhaps not being all true, with him "happening to walk by" the common room where the other students were having a party, despite claiming that he had no interest in going.
When Fuyuhiko does interact with the others (by choice or otherwise), his attitude is combative and irritable. He's easily angered, often threatening and/or insulting other people when they disagree with or complain about his actions. He frequently uses the word boke (a particularly pejorative way of calling someone an idiot, often translated as all sorts of profanity), and will punctuate his statements in an argument with it. He avoids any proper relationships and is used to being treated with caution by everyone, even to the point of threatening to murder someone, especially the Ravenclaw Mikan Tsumiki. He acts similarly around Mikan to how the Slytherin Hiyoko Saionji does. In particular he despises his fellow Gryffindor Mahiru Koizumi because of her stern attitude and refusal to back down to his threats.
After deciding to change in his fourth year, because of Peko's sacrifice and him realizing his own mistakes, Fuyuhiko becomes more sociable and avoids bad-mouthing people to the best of his abilities. He even seems to become one of his group of friends' most loyal and steadfast members, though still short-tempered and impulsive. He tries to help others and is shown to openly care about them, even the Slytherin Nagito Komaeda when he was about to die from Dragon Pox. Peko's sacrifice is a sensitive subject for him. He takes over Mahiru's role as the tough but fair member of the group, always being on everyone's case, especially the Hufflepuff Kazuichi Soda's, but also being very helpful and willing to deal with anyone's problems. He's also very level headed in spite of his bad temper and is very intelligent.
In his free-time, Fuyuhiko is revealed to have self-esteem issues concerning his status as his families' heir. He does not believe he deserves the title, though he grows out of this with the Slytherin Hajime's company. He states that he wants to be strong on his own, and not to simply rely on his family's power to get ahead in life. His goal is to be strong enough to lead his family, rather than to be strong because he leads his family. Because of his insecurities, he is also particularly sensitive about his appearance, as people would expect a big, muscular man to lead such a powerful Pureblood family, and Fuyuhiko's appearance is the opposite of that (except for the man part). It is suggested that it would not be out of the question for him to react violently if someone were to use the word "baby face" in reference to him. Fuyuhiko enjoys eating sweets, such as fried dough cookies, which he considers unmanly and shameful and thus tries to keep a secret. He is also ashamed because he wasn't sorted into Slytherin House like "real Purebloods" do.
Fuyuhiko takes duty very seriously, and if there's someone who he can trust, he will open his heart and cooperate with them. Despite having no compunctions about murder or framing others for his crimes, he takes more trivial violations of honor and moral codes seriously. For instance, he is strictly against underage drinking, underage driving and teenage sex and is very critical of Kazuichi for his constant attempts to flirt with the Ravenclaw Sonia Nevermind. In his first year, it is revealed that he is one of the few students that attended extra classes regularly, even though he didn't have to. He also desperately tried to stop Kazuichi from molesting Sonia when they were under the effect of a Love Potion.

Um... mod?
Can I ask you the question?
Why do you abuse poor Hiyoko so much? Like, you treat her as a bad guy in an even more insufferably hypocritical way than the original DR2 game was.
Fuyuhiko cruelly murders Mahiru, frames Hiyoko for it, and tries to get the entire class executed in the class trial. Yet you make Mahiru forgive him. Hiyoko wants to non-lethally hurt Mikan. You may Mahiru throw a fissy hit over it and break up her friendship with Hiyoko over it. Even though, from any sane perspective, Hiyoko is practically a saint when compared to Fuyuhiko.
I kinda applaud you. As a Hiyoko kinnie, Mahiru is obviously my second favorite character after Hiyoko herself. And yet... you had created a version of Mahiru I absolutely despise now. When I had read her breaking her friendship with Hiyoko now, my blood boiled. And when Mahiru said later she is "not going to forgive easily" the girl who made a shrine to mourn her death and literally got herself killed because she wanted to honor Mahiru's memory... While easily forgiving her own fucking killer (Peko)... I had literally wanted to beat the shit out of your version of Mahiru while screaming at "YOU UNGRATEFUL SELF-RIGHTEOUS CUNT!!! WHY ARE YOU BEING SUCH A PIECE OF SHIT KOIZUMI!!!"
Please inform me if you plan on Mahiru repairing her friendship with Hiyoko on this blog (and asking from Hiyoko forgiveness for being such an ungrateful traitor), so I can know if I should block your blog forever to avoid damaging my mental health, or give your story a second chance.
Block me. Block me straight up.
I’m kind of tired and done with this whole discourse of how “bad” I wrote Hiyoko. I won’t deny I may have gone too far at times, but holy shit are we really going with this? Is this my legacy? Is this my one stain? I wrote the bully character too much of a bully? Really? Is this going to be continued to be brought up long after the fact?
Oh, also. You straight up did not play or watch the game if you ever THOUGHT Fuyuhiko killed Mahiru. THAT WAS PEKO! Did Fuyuhiko lie and try to hide the culprit? Yes. Because he cared about Peko and to not die as being the blackened. But yes, Fuyuhiko did kill Sato. Because she in turn killed her little sister, and Mahiru was also implied to lie about it!
THERE IS NO INNOCENT PERSON IN THIS STORY! ALL PARTIES ARE GUILTY!
And you must have not read my blog too if you think that she forgave Fuyuhiko and Peko so easily! It was a damn second arc about it! Hiyoko was suggesting to kill Mikan, and I even wrote her to actually try and kill Mikan once! Of course Mahiru won’t forgive that so easily! It would hurt even more because she’s her friend!
But to end this nicely, and this goes out to any other anons reading this with the same feelings: if my story and or blog is making you uncomfortable and perhaps hurting your mental health. Go. Leave. Please do. Value your health first and foremost over some dumb story and write your own.
I. Am so sick. And tired of this conversation.
Just. Go.

Re: Mikan and Hiyoko - or Hiyoko's treatment of Mikan:
We learn to things in Hiyoko's FTEs that are helpful in this situation:
Hiyoko likes to crush and destroy disgusting things.
Hiyoko's insecurities lead her to want to hurt others, particularly when she's jealous.
I would say the first is a reproduction of the trauma Hiyoko, personally, has gone through. Hiyoko hasn't been particularly cared for; she was ripped out of her family, her father had to pretend to be something he wasn't to protect her, and she is at all times expected to be, herself, a beautiful thing. At the same time, she is constantly crushed by people who should be looking out for her well-being. She says herself that it's good to protect things that need to be protected, but SHE needs to be protected. Because she isn't protected, that says that to her that she isn't worthy of that protection. And this goes back to her manipulation - she is the only one who sees herself as worth protecting, and this is what she has to do to protect herself.
A lot of what Hiyoko destroys are things that people would consider worth protecting: worms, crabs, flowers. To her, they're disgusting because they cannot protect themselves the way SHE protects HERSELF. It gives her a sense of power and control that she doesn't have.
Which is. why she treats Mikan the way she does.
Mikan clearly needs protecting. This is obvious to anyone who sees her. Blatantly. Obvious.
But Mikan doesn't have any of the drive to protect herself, not the way Hiyoko sees it, and so Hiyoko destroys her the same way she destroys other disgusting things. (Hiyoko sees herself as a disgusting thing; Hiyoko treats Mikan the way her "hag" grandmother treated her because that's how she grew a spine.)
Further, we see in Hiyoko's last FTE that her jealousy towards Sonia and how people treat her makes her want to lash out at her. She calls her a bitch. She wants to punish people for treating Sonia well—
These are things we see in how she treats Mikan, too. She likely lashes out at Mikan from jealousy - because people are treating Mikan the way she should be treated, the way she should have been treated.
And we see that especially in Mikan's trial - no one believes evil of Mikan. No one suspects her of being able to kill anyone. Group consensus is that Mikan is cinnamon roll, too good, too pure.
NO ONE thinks that of Hiyoko. In fact, when Mahiru, her bestie, was murdered, she was set up as the prime suspect. Because people would absolutely believe that she would kill her bestie.
Like. Not saying I agree with Hiyoko treating Mikan horribly - y'all know I hate this - but like. It's grounded in Hiyoko's character and experiences, and I get it.

Can I request T, C and W letters for Hiyoko and Kirumi?
Alphabet Headcanons
Fandom: Danganronpa
Character(s): Hiyoko Saionji, Kirumi Tojo
Type of Request: Alphabet Headcanons
Note(s): You got it!
Tumblr media
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Hiyoko
She is such a tsundere where she'll tease and make fun of you if you cuddle with her but she loves cuddling so much. Will pout and complain if you haven't cuddled with her enough. You have to hold her. She wants to be held and have her back to your front as she lays against or on you.
Kirumi
Doesn't mind cuddling, it's a nice break from her constantly being on her feet. Would never complain if you want to cuddle as it's her job to satisfy.
Would want to be sitting up when you cuddle just in case she needs to move quickly. She'll lean against you with an arm around her. But she's also very okay if you want to be the one leaning on her. She'll gladly hold you up and close.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Hiyoko
She'd try wrapping a present by herself but gave up halfway because it was looking like crap. Probably just pays someone to make gifts look nice. Now for dates and stuff, she'd want them to go perfectly but her attitude kind of ruins it a tad since she does act high-and-might. She does hope you enjoy what she came up with.
Kirumi
I mean, do I have to answer this for her? We all know she goes above and beyond in day-to-day tasks. The same is for dates. She remembers everything you've said even if it was a tiny thing. And she keeps a planner to mark any special occasion so she can make you something yummy as a treat.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Hiyoko
She likes to say that she'd be fine and that she doesn't need you to live her life. But she really would miss you so much. Would absolutely go to Mahiru to cry and pout if she didn't have you.
Kirumi
She wouldn't show it. Yes she would miss you, but she can't afford to let that bring her down. There are others that need her help and she has to be the best. So on the outside she is functioning perfectly, but on the inside she does miss you quite a bit.

As brilliant as 2-5 is, there's just one thing that really irks me about it. Like, in a vacuum, it's not a problem. But when I look at it in context with the rest of the game?
Like. Nagito's suicide roulette wheel is cool as fuck. This is right up there with Kokichi's plan to derail the Killing Game by forcing Monokuma to misidentify the victim. It's so good.
The one drawback here is Chiaki's total lack of involvement in the murder that she becomes the Blackened for. She's the unlucky winner of the suicide roulette. She was selected because she was the Traitor but ultimately Chiaki dies not for anything she does, but simply for what she is. She's a passive recipient of a murder she commits.
By itself, this would be a minor foible. But in light of the larger trend of how the game has handled its male and female deaths? Like. Okay.
Women in DR2 die like this:
Peko: I killed Mahiru because I am nothing but a tool for my master--OH WAIT THE RULES DON'T WORK THAT WAY guess Mahiru and I will just die for no reason.
Mahiru: On top of that, I was bludgeoned to death in retaliation for a crime I was barely even involved with. I'm not even the guilty party or anything. I was just nearby. I died for being crime-adjacent.
Mikan: Afflicted at random by the Murderer Disease.
Ibuki: Afflicted at random by the Victim Disease.
Hiyoko: Wrong place at the wrong time by pure coincidence.
Chiaki: I won the suicide roulette because I am the droid you're looking for.
Meanwhile, men in DR2 die like this:
Teruteru: I just wanted to get out, man.
Imposter: When I saw the murder about to happen I threw myself in front of it, heroically giving my life for the sake of others!
Gundham: Nekomaru and I fought a duel to the death to liberate our friends from the Funhouse, heroically giving our lives for the sake of others!
Nekomaru: Gundham and I fought a duel to the death to liberate our friends from the Funhouse, heroically giving our lives for the sake of others!
Nagito: I carried out the suicide roulette, a complex and intricate master plan to exterminate the Remnants of Despair and bring Hope to this island! AHAHAHAHAHA I am the most complex and interesting character in this game!
In the end, I really like 2-5. The suicide roulette and the reveals surrounding Chiaki are incredible.
But it's also hard to shake the feeling like she's just another name to add to the list of female characters killed off for underwhelming reasons, having very little to do with her own death.
The one female character who had anything approaching agency in her death is Peko - A character who literally self-identifies as an unpersoned tool existing only for her master's benefit, and whose plan is unraveled by simply being too stupid to pull it off correctly.
(Seriously. She spends an HOUR of gameplay framing herself for the crime she committed. I still can't get over that.)
The male killers and victims of Danganronpa 2 are active participants in the events that end their lives, while with the exception of Peko, the women of Danganronpa 2 are consistently passive recipients of said events - even when they're the ones carrying them out.
Chiaki's execution comes as a parallel to Alter Ego's in a variety of ways - particularly setting them up to make an eleventh hour return because Junko doesn't actually know how to kill an AI. But Alter Ego was executed because Monokuma found him sniffing around sensitive files on Junko's server. Chiaki was executed because she grabbed the Jackpot fire grenade.
I just.
Danganronpa 2 has fun, interesting, and engaging female characters.
But I don't think Danganronpa 2 is actually interested in any of its female characters. It treats them like set dressing around the important, active characters.

DR3 really did rob us of some comfy friendship moments between Nagito and the others in Class 77-B. The writers played so much into the fan perception of him that it ended up making the others look absurdly unreasonable with how they treated him. Making him the class outcast BEFORE he actually did anything bad with that gym incident. When compared to the sexual antics Teruteru was getting up to and Hiyoko's bratty behavior, Nagito making cringey hope speeches is pretty inoffensive. Me personally, I choose to headcanon that he actually did start to form some bonds during his time at Hope's Peak. Not just with pre-Kamukura Hajime and human Chiaki. But I think there's some good potential between him and Sonia, Mahiru, Fuyuhiko, Peko, Imposter, Nekomaru, Ibuki, and Gundham. Maybe they don't become full-on friends before the Tragedy hit. But they start to see him as more than just the class weirdo and recognize some of his more likable qualities. And he in turn develops a fondness that goes beyond idolization of them as Ultimates. Oh, and I like the idea of him being Matsuda's only real friend too...Possibly with a little romantic flame. I mean I love Komahina just fine, but the boy deserves some romantic alts too. Komanami, Matsukoma, Komazumi, Kuzukoma, and Nekomaeda are all very fun to me.
i definitely have things i like and dislike about dr3, but one big gripe was how much nagito was outcasted before he even did anything bad. it doesn't even bother me on a personal level, its more of just from a writing standpoint because i really dont understand it, like it's inconsistent with the characters. because there are definitely some weirdos (lovingly! unless you're teruteru) in that class besides nagito, yet he got the most shit for it.
the most he did was just be offputting and go on some weird hope speeches (nagito did make a comment about how he got intense on a speech and apologized, which shows he had SOME self awareness at least then) and everyone really disliked him, hardly any concern when he was gone for a lot of the school year. but then when he have characters in the class that i think could be comparable to nagito at least before the gym bombing issue, in terms of being an outcast or oddball. people such as; gundam, teruteru, hiyoko, mikan, and even fuyuhiko who is literally the heir to the yakuza. but the class still cared about all of them and were good friends with them, but nagito is where they drew the line.
it just, doesn't really make sense? it would have made much more sense if they had all disliked nagito AFTER the bombing incident. there could have been some angst about how they WERE friends with him, but felt uncomfortable around him after he planted a bomb in their gym. it just would have made a lot more sense. it just felt inconsistent to me and like lazy writing.
i also like to headcannon that he was at least friends with some of them too though! i've always felt like he could have an interesting friendship with fuyuhiko, sonia, and even ibuki just for the chaos lol. i can't say much about matsuda because i have yet to read danganronpa zero, but yeah, give nagito some friends smh.
i do think nagito might have a difficult time learning to like the ultimates as people though, because he's only really loved them for being symbols of hope. he knows nothing about them just as people, because of how warped his perception is. which again, could have been an interesting plot point so see developed. but, oh well! i do like to think after they all woke up, he did start learning to see them just as people and even make some friendships, since they're not really symbols of hope considering yknow... destroying the world lol. he did look to be on better terms with everyone in the brief moments of the cast we saw during hope arc. it's just a little thought i like to indulge myself in!

Even with a sizable cast of huge personalities, the stories of Danganronpa eventually center around a cluster of major supporting characters alongside the protagonist. Stalwart allies, staunch rivals, the hearts of the team, the pains in the neck. "I DISAGREE: An Ibuki Mioda SDR2 Protag Swap AU" is no different.
These Hands are Meant to Hold: The Major Side Characters
With that said, the characters who fills those slots in this AU are very different from the ones in the real SDR2. That’s on purpose: I prioritized those who don’t stick around for much of the story. As I promised in that first post, this story will see different victims, different killers, and different survivors. More fun that way, right? Here are my ideas:
The Ultimate Imposter: Every DR game needs that one character who basically carries the early class trials. The Ultimate Imposter - or rather, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny - is a big help, using keen observation skills in the investigations and handily shutting down irrelevant tangents (including from Ibuki) during the trials. Ibuki’s creativity helps piece together the evidence they gather, making them a formidable duo for any blackened. Already fast friends in the game, this AU would see the girl trying to solve the mysteries of this authoritative and snobby yet tenderhearted and protective person. Yet she can’t help thinking that there’s an even deeper mystery to “Byakuya Togami” - a secret that, once revealed, will test the fire-forged strength of their relationship.
Hiyoko Saionji: If Imposter is the Kyoko to Ibuki’s Makoto, then Hiyoko is the Byakuya (not to be confused with the Imposter pretending to be Byakuya …). She needs little provocation, if any, to insult and belittle her peers. Even the revelation of once being besties with Ibuki and Mikan won’t convince her to be any kinder - though it vindicates her close connection with Mahiru. As the bodies pile up, though, the Twilight Syndrome Girls come together as they should’ve in SDR2 (seriously, how was there no follow-up to that discovery after Chapter 2?!). Moreover, Hiyoko discovers that she can channel her aggressiveness to more selfless and self-sacrificing ends.
Hajime Hinata: Yep, you gotta make room for good ol’ Jimmy - whether he wants it or not. He’s the odd man out among the gang specifically for not being so odd. WIth arguably the game’s flashiest character stealing his lead role, he serves the thankless duty as her suffering straight man. This just takes the derisiveness he already shows toward his classmates in-game and really brings it out. Once he starts getting to know everyone, though, he does warm up to them. The challenge, then, is whether he can stifle his envy of his peers’ Ultimate talents. And later on, even his status as “the only normal person in the group” will be shaken to its core.
Mikan Tsumiki: After foaming at the mouth and passing out at the beach, Ibuki awakens to see the Ultimate Nurse treating her, making Mikan the first person Ibuki meets one-on-one. The timid girl and the loudmouth rock star make a strange pair, but they stick together as this strange situation unfolds. When a murder most foul takes place, Mikan’s medical expertise comes in clutch. Even as other loud voices try to drown her out, Ibuki’s perfect hearing can pick up her whimpers and make her words heard. There’s more I want to say about this … but I’m saving all that for a separate post. Same for tsumioda.
In fact, same for all these people. Same for Nagito Komaeda as well - I haven’t forgotten him, don’t worry. Maybe the same for a few others, though I may save the breakdowns of everyone else’s roles for other posts about individual murders, investigations, and trials. Suffice to say that in my current conception, the above four are the most important people in the Protagonist Ibuki story - and I take that straight from the original SDR2. The real question, to which even I’m not sure of the answer, is, “But are they the survivors?”
PREV: Ibuki in the Trials
NEXT: Starting the Game with Despair Disease
