Chapter 15: Bonds
A list of my ROTTMNT related fics under the cut. Most of them are illustrated! 💜
General [9/?]
help me believe (that i'm your brother) (G)
The road to recovery has been long but finally, the brothers are well enough to introduce Future Boy to one of the most comforting of habits - the turtle pile. Unfortunately, Casey has some doubts about his place in their family.
please don't be a hero (again) (G) (part 1 of a series)
Donatello needs his coffee. Leonardo finds him first.
lean on me (i'm strong enough) (G) (part 2 of a series)
Leonardo needs to get better, be better. If not for himself, then for Michelangelo - his baby brother shouldn't worry about him as much as he does.
you make me proud, little brother (G) (part 3 of a series)
Raphael worries and Leo's quip goes wrong. However, it leads to an emotional turnaround neither of them saw coming.
a lesson in trust (G)
Leo feels guilty for getting Raph caught by the Krang and refuses to let go of that burden. His big brother isn't having it anymore.
not quite kintsugi, but close (G) (ongoing)
The plan is simple. If all else fails, Michelangelo will make a time gateway for Casey to undo what Leonardo, in his youthful arrogance, started all those years ago; it will require sacrifice, but they are ready for it. Until the moment comes, of course. Or, in other words - what if Future Leonardo and Michelangelo both end up in the present with Casey? Kintsugi (金継ぎ, "golden joinery") is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. (Wikipedia)
repeat until death (T) (Major Character Death)
A companion piece to Chapter 7 of not quite kintsugi, but close. Leonardo doesn't want to let go. In the end, as long as Donatello is concerned, he never did.
Cold Feet (G)
Leonardo is enjoying his lazy morning… until a certain human teenager disrupts his peace.
some boys do lay eggs (T)
Leonardo is just about to fall asleep when the weight of a body thuds against the side of his bed, startling him awake, but not awake enough to shake him out of the heaviness of near slumber. “Whassit,” he mumbles, sticking his hand out from his blankets and feeling about until his fingers touch the edge of a hard shell. Ah, he recognises the shape – it’s Leo. “...are we boys?”
sleepless (G)
Leo is so, so tired and goes to his dad. Splinter thinks up a plan to put into motion in the morning - but it seems that he's already helping.
Leoichi (Rise x Usagi Chronicles) [9/?]
with friends like these (G) (part 2 of a series)
Meeting up with his old friends and introducing his new boyfriend to them certainly hadn't been in Yuichi's plans for the day - but it turns out to have been a welcome surprise later when it helps him realise something important about his own feelings.
make your home in me (E) (part 4 of a series)
Click the link to read the summary!
world's end boyfriend (T) (AU)
Leonardo lost Yuichi to the apocalypse almost exactly five years ago. It's now been a year since he, Michelangelo and Casey made their impossible portal trip to the present day, successfully preventing the Krang invasion this time - so imagine Leonardo's surprise when his little brother tells him that they're going to rescue his mate. They only have one chance.
and just like that (T) (ongoing) (part 1 of a series)
What was supposed to be a simple shopping trip to the Hidden City turns into an embodiment of a romcom when Leonardo runs into an unfamiliar white rabbit. Or more accurately, the rabbit's dining table.
soft bunny, warm bunny, little ball of— uh oh (G) (part 3 of a series)
Leonardo feels so lucky. He has the world's softest boyfriend who doesn't mind being treated like a giant teddy bear! Too bad it made him forget something very important.
breathe (and let go) (M) (part 5 of a series)
Leonardo needs a break from his… everything, and Yuichi is always more than happy to indulge him.
cracks never healed (they can heal now) (T)
Their plans for a nice date go awry when Leonardo and Yuichi run into a giant rampaging robot. It's swiftly dealt with, but not without a price.
well worth the wait (G)
Hana has been worried about her adoptive father's new relationship. Yuichi puts those worries to rest.
taking it slow (G)
Leonardo keeps holding himself to the impossible standards of a long-lost future and it doesn't take a genius to see that it does him no favours. Yuichi takes it upon himself to teach his boyfriend that some days should be spent in bed.
And that's it! For now. <3

To whom it may concern (Bebe and Cassius):
I'm sure we'll all well aware of the current event surrounding a certain Unovan(?) entrepreneur who stylizes himself as a genius. It is therefore unnecessary to show me news about his latest "innovative endeavors" for the express purpose of "watching [me], an inventor, age about ten years every time."
So to get it out of the way for the thirteenth and hopefully final time:
Yes, I'm aware.
No, I don't know how he got a stainless steel tank, a rocket cobbled together from spare parts, a self-driving car that occasionally ignites into a ball of flames while trapping its driver in thanks to multiple design flaws, or the brain chip past an ethics committee.
Yes, I am "salty" that I made one mistake with one of my inventions, and now I'm constantly scrutinized by the Pokémon Cutting-Edge Technology Research Institute's ethics committee.
No, I do not want the brain chip.
Yes, I want to study the brain chip.
The fifth point is out of morbid curiosity as to how it got past an ethics committee, not respect.
Hopefully, this clears things up.
Best, Bill
-
{From the Mun:
I found this in the drafts, and I thought it would be hilarious to bring this out and tack on an update post while I'm at it.
But the biggest thing is, I'm . . . actually leaving Tumblr. Now, the main reason for that is my main got super borked up. I've been told by my followers over there it's not shadowbanning, but I'm pretty sure it's random-ass shadowbanning. I cannot receive asks, I can't tag people, I don't have DMs, and I don't show up in notes. As for why, I can't fathom. For the most part, I've kept my nose pretty clean on that account, other than that one time somebody in the writeblr community kinda lost it and tried to use a bunch of random people as a scapegoat for drama reasons. Yeah, idk.
Anyway, the point is, I've submitted a ticket a few months ago and then . . . never heard back. And honestly, for personal reasons, I'm not really inclined on remaking.
Personal reasons being I'm gunning for writing an actual book, as you might know from my last-ish post? Like, non-Pokémon book. Though I'll admit some bits might be familiar to those of you who've hung around the blog for a while. Here's a hint: take powerverse, gender swap it, role swap it, and then stick it into FFXIV and add more steampunk. It's been cooking for the past year you haven't seen me, and I'm aiming to start pitching it to agents by the end of the year. If you'd like to follow along, if you're also a writer who would like to make more writing friends, or if you just like my writing for some reason and want to keep up with me, you can find me at jaxwolffwrites on both Bluesky and Twitter. Bsky moreso, but you'll get progress on this project on either of those other platforms.
Now, I will say this: just to be fair, I'm doing three things:
Closing the askbox. Admittedly, if you've been sending me asks for the past three months, I haven't seen them anyway. Sooooo I probably should've done that ages ago. Sorry about that.
Answering any ask I've saved to the drafts. Any ask. Please note that I don't know if the borking I've described above extends to this blog as well, so Bill won't be replying to replies or reblogs/tags. Apologies for that in advance. There are 49 posts in the drafts, and these will come out fairly slowly as I continue to keep up with my writing schedule on the other project.
Leaving this blog up as an archive. Assuming Tumblr doesn't nuke the main and the backup account that was created in an effort to avoid total nuking, and assuming Tumblr doesn't nuke this blog itself, I really want to leave this up so you can enjoy this pretty much forever onward. You all are the reason why this blog has gone on for so long, and I want to preserve this blog as a thank you for following me for so long.
So yes, after I clear the drafts, you'll likely see one last farewell from Bill and Lanette, and then that will be that. To everyone who's followed, thank you so much for following and supporting this blog over the years. As many ups and downs as running this had, I still look back on every moment as one fun adventure.
So thank you, and take care.}

we should meet the village that raised Kai and Nya. how else did they learn to take care of themselves? we know they were left alone right around the ages of 8-10, and when we see them in the pilot they're self-sufficient and run a successful business
culture-wise, we're clued in that Ray and Maya are vaguely East Asian, so the reference I'll be using is the traditionally Japanese method of teaching kids independence. here's an overgeneralization:
that kids are taught to clean up after themselves from an early age and by the time their directional skills are OK they are sent on their first errand to (usually) a nearby store or shrine
you may be familiar with the idea from the series Old Enough! filmed in 1991 that showed Japanese kids on their first errands (currently it's on netflix)
brainstorming thread for this post on bluesky
even if we assume they were taught independence from an early age, they can't've known how to proficiently smith weapons or tools. they also have basic education in addition to Nya's knowledge of electrical engineering and welding. they must've had to apprentice under other blacksmiths in addition to going to school.
this would also explain why Kai is so fiercely, often illogically independent in the pilot and first season. he's spent the past decade of his life being helped by others, and he doesn't want to rely on anyone else if he can avoid it. in this new life as a ninja, he thinks, I can be completely independent. I won't have to rely on anyone! and thus begins his character development
let's explore "it takes a village"
farmers always give them their less attractive produce but refuse to take payment, telling the Smith kids that they're doing them a favor by taking the ugly ones. the local schoolhouse never approaches them about tuition.
neighbors by while their kid's taking a nap. they bring lunch or dinner, teach the two how to clean the house, and show them how to make the food they brought. caretakers at the village shrine ask them to help sweep away the leaves on the anniversary of their parent's disappearance. a few friends come by with flowers- it's a coincidence, they say: these wildflowers are just taking over my garden bed- it's no big deal.
electricians and welders in the area always seem to need an extra hand when Nya gets out of school. Kai cleans the blacksmith shop a few towns over and gets paid in an apprenticeship and a permanent stock of firewood and coal during the winter. the ice house happens to have unsellable, broken ice blocks when Nya pops by in the summer.
the two of them know. the village is part of a careful dance, respecting Kai and Nya's independence while acknowledging their need for support. everyone plays a part. yes, toes get stepped on and feelings get hurt, but time rolls on regardless. another person comes in from the sidelines when someone else takes a break.
it is not easy for the Smith kids, not by a long shot, but the people surrounding them make it bearable
as time marches on, their village sees the children they raised save the world dozens of times. occasionally, the Smith kids come back to take care of the shop and check in with everyone after avoiding the latest apocalypse.
without thinking, neighbors hand them a basket of misshapen apples, half a sack of broken rice, and trimmings from the butcher's. by the time each of them make it home, they've noticed their pockets jingling. the dance continues and now they've switched places

Hey ya'll!! Good news!
The MTMTE notebooks now have volume 3 and 4!
You will also be able to order volume 1 and 2 if you missed it last time
Orders are invited in September, likely from September 1st - September 30th
People who placed orders before or otherwise emailed the MTMTE books email or signed up for the preorder will be contacted.
Also he's mentioned potentially making the newest scripts available too!
Please check out his post, screenshots below, for more info
Link to the post: LINK
James Roberts @jroberts332: Lots of questions about this, so:
I plan to invite orders for the MTMTE notebooks (both sets: Vols 1 and 2; and 3 and 4) in September --- probably first 1st to the 30th. I might make the latest scripts available too.
**I will post something on here, on Bluesky and on my Instagram**
James Roberts @jroberts332: If you bought Vols 1 and 2, or emailed the MTMTE Books account about placing an order, you'll automatically be contacted.
If you put your name on the preorder lists at TFCon and TFNation, you'll be contacted
James Roberts @jroberts332: I'm doing some things differently this year, having learned some lessons last time. These changes should cut down on delivery times and make everything run more smoothly. I'll explain everything when you contact me to place an order, or to enquire about placing one.
James Roberts @jroberts332: Some people are worried about missing out, so please spread this message far and wide-- TF message boards, Tumblr, etc. I'm conscious that people have deserted Twitter.
I don't want to have to extend the preorder window, which is what happened last time.
Thank youuuu
Spread this info further yall!

Bringing myself up to speed on Cohost since I mentioned them earlier but primarily interact with like five people who use it through RSS.
I said Cohost looks in a bad place financially, that's mostly in reference to their financial statements as of 4 months ago:
https://cohost.org/staff/post/1690393-h1-2023-financial-up
At this point they were losing a little over $40k a month, and taking on a lot of debt to keep functioning.
Their latest financial report seems to have them balancing out their very imbalanced finances, which I think is a combination of new choasters realising they should pay for this and Bluesky absorbing more normie users looking for non-twitter destinations.
I like Cohost's design and flexibility (see @lexyeevee's CSS crimes) but I don't love that they're still very much a walled garden. It's a very accessible walled garden, I'm subscribed to RSS feeds from friends through it which is something Bluesky and Twitter don't do, but it is no fediverse. I know I say that from Tumblr. Glass house, stones, etc. We have RSS here too you know!
if people keep paying for cohost at this rate it'll probably be fine. Bluesky taking the bulk of the heat off of them might let them escape the five point palm exploding heart situation they walked into when they opened free registration during the Twitter exodus. Handling a small subset of weirdos is sustainable in a way that mass social media isn't, ask SomethingAwful.

A Thread on the Bluesky Meta
Within the past few days, I've signed up for both Threads and Bluesky. Both also are letting me slowly wean off my Twitter addiction (I'm basically only posting blog links to Twitter these days). At the moment, all three apps have advantages and disadvantages.
(One things that falls into the "disadvantage" column for all three is that none of them right now appear to support letting me automatically cross-post links to my blog entries onto their site. Twitter used to allow for this but eliminated the feature as part of its overall crusade against its own usability. Threads and Bluesky don't seem to have been integrated yet into IFTTT or other similar sites. First site to offer that feature will get a huge leg up in the David sweepstakes).
Threads
Pros
Instagram tie means it has a pre-existing userbase that can scale quickly. This makes it easier to at least initially fill out a follower list. And while nobody is thrilled to jump from an evil billionaire to a somewhat-less evil billionaire, if we're bloodless about it the Meta backing makes Threads the most likely to actually slay the giant. It's no accident that its launch has yielded a visible dent in Twitter's daily traffic.
Cons
Very clearly launched ahead of schedule to take advantage of Twitter's latest disaster (the "metered" tweet fiasco), and so a bunch of really basic features don't exist. No desktop app is virtually a dealbreaker for users like me, and that's just one example. Once you get past your Instagram network, it's actually quite difficult to find your friends, and the app is absolutely obsessed with pushing random "influencer" types into my timeline that I absolutely do not care about and which only serve to gum up the conversations I'm actually interested in following. This may be intentional -- Threads people have suggested that they self-consciously are trying to avoid centering their business around news/commentary -- but that makes it less attractive for me.
Bluesky
Pros
Definitely has the most "Twitter-like" feel without the baggage. That it has both a functioning mobile and desktop version automatically gives it a huge leg up for me. While obviously still in progress, it has most of the features I'd want in a site, and my feed at least looks mostly populated by the types of conversations I want to see. Likewise, when I search for new accounts, it seems to make a modicum of effort at recommending folks I'd want to engage with. Is as of now probably the site I most want to succeed of the three.
Cons
Still growing very slowly via the invite-only model, and the smaller userbase means it's inherently less active. I finally got an invite to Bluesky upon telling a friend I had joined Threads, and in the course of him fulminating about all the ways Bluesky was superior I guilted him into giving me an access code. That doesn't seem scalable, and microblogging social media sites depend on scaling.
Twitter
Pros
Even now it still probably has the greatest range of users and commentary, and of course I already have a pre-existing base of followers which I'm loathe to leave behind. I don't consider myself a major audience chaser, but even I feel a bit of a sting going from 4,000 followers to several dozen, and I don't relish building it back up from scratch. As more than one person has noted, the basic structure of Twitter circa 2021 is what a ton of people want to see replicated, and even as Musk has made it his mission to regularly lop off useful and helpful features and practices, everything that has for now escaped his cullings is comfortingly familiar.
Cons
All the Nazis, obviously. And the crypto scams. And the push to promote far-right conspiracies and bigotry via "verified" promoted accounts (if a blue checkmark no longer means "you are who you say you are", and does mean "you have paid Twitter a fee so it will boost your content", that is the very definition of a "promoted account"). And the searing hatred Musk has for his own customers, regularly intervening to make the user experience worse for no discernable reason other than pique.

Not So Smart Meter
On Friday our smart meter told us we had been charged £9 for heating, which spurred me into fiscal action. Well, I say it spurred me into action; I haven’t actually done anything, but it did alarm me. More so for some reason than any of the other do of money I have spent over the past 6 months. £100 at Asda, £37 on the bus to Glasgow. All fine, apparently. But £9 for a day of heating! That’s one step too far.
It turns out that this is because we had put the thermometer display thing in our bedroom, which had the radiators off (it gets too hot at night) so the system was desperately trying to heat up a room over which it had no power. This realisation calmed me down a bit (it was only £4 yesterday), but I’m still going to post my Patreon here for the first time in a while.

I write reviews of old episodes over there, and they tend to be a bit more in-depth (read — even longer and more self-indulgent) than the ones here. The latest one is due out tomorrow and is on the quarter-final between Bangor and Imperial from 2012/13. Subscribe for as little as £1/month (that’s 11% of one day of heating if you forget you’ve turned the radiators off in the bedroom.)
Turn the internet off.
I’ve been doing Local Month of Writing a Novel this month (as explained in a previous edition of this blog), and most days it has taken me upwards of 2 hours to get the 1667 words down.
Today, I turned the wifi off and blasted through 2000 words in one hour. This could just be due to the fact that I struck a rich vein of inspiration, but it’s also definitely at least partly due to the fact I wasn’t periodically on the Fantasy Football Reddit, or Twitter, or Bluesky, or Instagram, or YouTube, or…
Its incredibly simple, but if you cut off access to these timesinks then you cannot access them. Meaning that you get through your work a lot quicker, leaving you plenty of time to write tips on how to get through your work a lot quicker.
Anyway, onto this week’s episode, the second repechage match, between SOAS and Durham.

Here’s your first starter for ten.
Unfortunately at this point I’m going to have to turn the internet back on because I need to rewatch the episode. Here’s hoping I can avoid clicking on the Youtube shorts tab. Wish me luck.
Brookfield-Pertusini introduces herself by saying she is ‘quite literally reading English literature’, which I personally find to be a bit cringe, but perhaps I am just becoming an old man.
Nash hits back for Durham with pheromones, but he talks himself out of five points on the bonuses because he doesn’t believe that the football team Villarreal could possibly be from a town called Villarreal.
Provinces gives Hasler his first points of the night, then both sides miss the picture starter, on the word turnip in different languages. Roberts hears the word Ra and buzzes with Egypt, winning Durham the picture bonuses, of which they take one.
Rajan calls, and Nash is first to pick up with telephone on the next starter. They are thirty points clear, but Lambert sneaks in with Trojan horse to keep SOAS close.
Another for Hasler gives SOAS the lead going into the music round, but Brookfield-Pertusini is quickest to recognise the Peep Show theme song and steals it back.
Brookfield-Pertusini, who, as we remember, is studying English literature, takes the picture starter by recognising a wordless version of the cover of The Bell Jar. She is good on the bonuses too, but mistakes Normal People for Conversations with Friends. A mistake I made too, because I thought Normal People was red, which it often is, but not in the original printing.
Makaton gives Dorn her third starter, and further ten-pointers from Lambert and Hasler give SOAS a fifty-five-point lead with two minutes to go.
It would have been a sixty-point lead had Dorn been allowed her answer ‘af Klimt’ when the correct answer was ‘af Klint’. I think this demonstrates sufficient knowledge, and presume that it was disallowed because of the artist Gustav Klimt. But she said the ‘af’ so it is clear she knows who she is talking about. Very harsh, in my opinion.
And very important.
Nash keeps Durham in the game with ER, and they do a very good job of answering the bonuses very quickly, passing quickly too when they don’t know. Roberts takes another with Richard II, and a hat-trick put them ten points adrift.
Ten points which disappeared with scattering from the skipper. A single bonus would win them the game, but the gong beats them to it.
Tiebreak.
A question with the answer slipstream was dropped by both teams.
A second question was also dropped by both teams but cut from the show — thanks to Bluesky user trainingmontage for pointing me in the direction of the YouTube comment by one of the SOAS team.
A third question with the answer llama is buzzed on by SOAS’s Lambert, but unfortunately he says alpaca.
A fine guess. I don’t know how much more obvious the rest of the question would have made it that the answer was llama not alpaca, but it was a good tactic to be first on the buzzer here. It’s just a shame that he was wrong. And a shame that ‘af Klimt’ was disallowed.
SOAS 145–150 Durham
Incredible comeback from Durham. As Youtube commenter Ramboost007 says, they remind us that in UC 55 points is just a 3-possession lead.
Tough to take for SOAS, but a very entertaining show for the viewer.
See you next week for the first of the second-round matches.
For now, I’m off to check my smart meter.

A Full Friday
Today at 6 a.m., when Nancy woke me up, after taking care of the cats, for my 7 a.m. dental appointment. The cleaning went just fine and I came home to start the day in a normal way at about 8 a.m.
The morning blood sugar was up to 143. Then we did our coffee and brain games. Among other things, we finished the week with a perfect score for the “On the Record” game at the Washington Post. A bit later we had oatmeal for breakfast.
There was more messing around with the GSP website. Dale Ann tried installing the certificate manually, but even after waiting around to see if it took we had no luck. I also saw notes about the nameservers being incorrect, but there was still no response whatsoever from the hosting company about anything. Fr. Steve approved the switch to GoDaddy. I checked the terms and conditions for moving forward.
I finally deactivated my “X” (formerly Twitter) account. According to a chart I was keeping, I had not posted anything since February 2021. I’m not in any hurry to join BlueSky, though plenty of people I know have. Some social media just doesn’t seem that important or necessary to me.
We cancelled our coffee meeting with Rector Ann for today, since Nancy was still in pain from her fall yesterday and did not feel like being social.
I ran to Costco for gas ($2.96 per gallon) and a few groceries. I also picked up the new Stephanie Plum novel by Janet Evanovich, “Now or Never.” It’s been a minute since I read one of these, but since I like holding a real book in my hand from time to time it seemed like a good purchase.
Kathleen stopped over for a visit. She had some chips and cheese and a fudgesicle. I ate my leftover Jersey Mike’s for lunch, along with more of the chips I bought at Costco.
Sam checked in from Edward Jones with Nancy about some account details that needed adjusting.
About 2:30 p.m., Kathleen went home, Nancy lay down for a nap, and I went for a walk. I put in 3.06 miles in 54 minutes, using the same route we had started yesterday when Nancy had her fall. I got 6,800 steps, and an average pace of 17:40 per mile. There was no rain, and it was not too cold. I worked up a sweat under my flannel shirt inside the flannel-lined jacket.
We started up the spaghetti sauce about 4:30 p.m., cooking garlic and mushrooms. We put them aside and cooked the hamburger, then put it all together with marinara sauce and some more spices. We made some garlic toast while boiling the noodles, and we ate dinner and finished cleaning up about 7 p.m.
Our streaming menu began with the Thursday night Colbert which included his wife doing “First Drafts” for Thanksgiving cards, followed by a new comedy special from Jim Gaffigan, another episode of “Coroner,” and, finally, the latest from “NCIS” to take us to bedtime.

Multi-hyphenate billionaire and reproduction-obsessed father of 11 children Elon Musk wants to move his entire patchwork family into a collection of three mansions in Austin, Texas — a plan that sounds more than a bit like the beginning of a terrifying cult documentary.
As the New York Times reports, Musk has told people close to him that he wants his many children — there are eleven known ones, ranging from infancy to young adulthood — and two of their three mothers to move into two properties near his own Austin mansion, which is a ten-minute walk away.
And of course, Musk is likely far from done with having children. The entrepreneur has long cited falling fertility rates as being the number one threat to humanity, making it his mission to father as many children as possible.
Now that his brood has grown considerably, Musk wants to raise them inside a compound, an unusual living arrangement that's bound to draw attention.
Given his increasingly fringe and worryingly unhinged personal beliefs, the NYT's latest report drew hair-raising comparisons on social media.
"Nontrivial chance Elon becomes a full-blown David Koresh type," NYT columnist Jammele Bouie wrote in a post on Bluesky, referring to the leader of the Branch Davidians sect, which culminated in the Waco Massacre in the early 1990s.
The mansions, which Musk bought for $35 million total, are in a relatively dense part of town and which isn't gated, an unusual pick for somebody in Musk's income bracket.
Musk was recently investigated by the Justice Department for using Tesla resources to build a "glass house" on a massive plot of land near the EV maker's headquarters, suggesting he might have abandoned much grander ambitions for his family compound.
Musk's obsession with spreading his own genes has led to some bizarre situations. According to the latest report, he went as far as to offer "his own sperm to friends and acquaintances, including the former independent vice-presidential candidate Nicole Shanahan" (who declined the offer, according to the NYT's reporting.)
In July, the NYT previously reported that Musk had volunteered his sperm to SpaceX employees to seed a Martian colony.
It sounds like his plans to move his offspring live in a Texas compound are already well underway. The mother of three of his children, Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk's brain-computer interface company Neuralink, has reportedly already moved into one of the two mansions.
Claire "Grimes" Boucher, who is also the mother of three of his children, likely won't follow suit given the ugly, extended custody battle between the two.
Which brings us to the third candidate for one of the two Austin mansions: his first wife, Justine Musk, who is the mother of five of his much older children. There's still no word if she's planning to pick him up on his offer to join the compound.
At least one of his children is extremely unlikely to visit the compound, though: Musk's transgender daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, who detailed in an NBC News interview this summer how she says she was abused by Musk (Musk has since claimed in a deranged tweet that she was "killed by the woke mind virus.")
The mercurial CEO is surpassing the footsteps of his estranged father Errol Musk, who has had seven children with three different women.
Whether Musk's compound will grow beyond his own abode and Zilis' mansion to fill the presumably still vacant third property remains to be seen. But given the practically infinite resources they have access to, and Musk's seemingly insatiable desire to father as many children as possible, it wouldn't be surprising.

It's time for Saiwa to rearrange their sub unit aka The Boys. Even though Ji Ho already promised Jeb that he will help to keep them together, Saiwa took him aside. Saiwa: "Ji Ho, when the Bond is cut - are you still determined to leave us?" Ji Ho: "Yes, there is still the Prophecy. And the Council will be after us as long as Vlad and I will be together. Even if the Bond is cut. There will be no proof of it for them and they will still fear us bringing 'great evil' upon them... Better you four continue without me. I hope you will be able to use the power of the meteorites without me when Rubyn is successful with the experiments."
Saiwa: "Have you already decided who will claim and protect you from the other vampires when the Bond between you and Vlad is cut?" Ji Ho: "Yes. You know Genji offered me his help and I think this is the best solution. He is my first bonded and I hope he doesn't even need to claim me again... uhm ... fully... and we could skip... uhm... 'tightening the Bond', you know? I'm sorry." Saiwa: "I understand."
Jeb and Jack: "WHAT?" Vlad: "GENJI!?! After all we went through because of Genji?! I even died! I went through hell! Because of him our world turned upside down! Because he claimed Ji Ho all out of the blue! And now he's going back to him?" Saiwa: "Vlad. You know any other vampire would have to claim Ji Ho. This would spare him. And you know that all this wasn't Genji's fault. Ji Ho doesn't really have a choice in this."
Saiwa: "Can we now please agree to the new terms and conditions? Being honest to each other, no stupid secret single actions and acting as a team to stay together? I'm hungry." Jeb, Jack and Vlad: "Agreed."
Jeb: "See? I told you we would make it ;) " Saiwa sighs.
Later that evening Jeb and Ji Ho are working on their songs and Ji Ho showed Jeb his progress on his Siren's Songs. Ji Ho had no one who tought him about them while he grew up in the Slums of Sulani. But he had been able to cast a spell to drag Vlad (and Leander) out of their hell. So he's not quite starting from zero. Though it's difficult to try to get a connection to them without being in the water.
Later, Jeb and Saiwa went for a walk. Jeb, making a move: "Don't worry! I will protect you from the wild animals of the Jungle!" Saiwa: ? Iguana: ??
Saiwa: "And who will protect you from me?"
Jeb: "Nothing can keep me away from you, Vanië."
Jeb: "I love you."
I'm so happy they are finally together again! ^^'

Jack Dorsey, well-known for his past involvement with X (formerly Twitter), has shifted his focus to the world of crypto. He has co-founded Block, Inc, and served on the board of Bluesky, a decentralized social media platform. In a recent interview, Dorsey shared his thoughts on the future of Bitcoin. He discussed his departure from Bluesky's board, citing concerns about the platform's moderation tools. Dorsey expressed disappointment that the platform had strayed from its original vision of decentralization. When asked about Bitcoin's price potential in 2030, Dorsey speculated that it could reach at least $1 million and potentially exceed that figure. He emphasized the importance of the Bitcoin ecosystem and the impact of contributors on its value. While Dorsey's prediction may seem ambitious, other prominent figures in the crypto space have also suggested similar price targets. ARK Invest CEO, for example, raised her prediction to $3.8 million by 2030. It remains to be seen whether widespread adoption would be sufficient to support these lofty projections. Dorsey's casual approach to the $1 million price target suggests that he may not be fully committed to the idea. Nonetheless, his perspective as a developer offers a unique insight into the potential growth of Bitcoin. Regardless of whether Bitcoin reaches $1 million by 2030, Dorsey's prediction sparks intriguing discussions within the crypto community.
