Andy Biersack (BVB) defending Ronnie Radke against bigoted fans
As it's always been before, when Ronnie Radke picks a fellow band for opening, that band's wokeist, Ronnie-hater fanbase comes out striking. It happened now to Black Veil Bride's Andy Biersack, who was also harshly called out for "disappoiting his trans fans", and he responded.
Tumblr media
Ronnie Radke reposted some of the hating tweets and he wrote in addition:
"Here’s me and Andy 17 fucking years ago. You think by now if I was a bigoted piece of shit he wouldn’t of gotten on a song with me been in a video with me and done multiple tours with me, I know his family Andy is very well spoken and extremely intelligent person with great discernment in people that has gotten enough shit in his career you are too young to realize what you are saying child. sit down and shut the fuck up"
Tumblr media
Some hours later Ronnie posted a video about this subject where he details his thoughs about the stupid haters. (watch in separate post)

Jude’s instagram comments are full of nonblack people being petty about his potential move to Real Madrid. Instead of focusing on Vini, Spain’s violent racism, and Jude’s mental health right now they take the opportunity to promote another club they want him at / say he will be benched. People are actually next level nasty
Try being genuinely concerned for him, black athletes, and black fans being abused rn? Spain’s racism is worse than anywhere else and instead of being concerned about his wellbeing when he leaves BvB people are commenting petty insults as if he isn’t suffering abuse from germans as we speak. a BLACK man is watching his fellow players get abused while he gets abused HIMSELF and you’re saying “come to liverpool” “come to barca”

I looked up a couple of interpretations on this song and liked this one.
“Temple of Love” originally from The Sisters of Mercy and covered by Black Veil Brides (ft. VV) seems to be a song about a tumultuous and intense love affair that takes place within the metaphorical "temple of love." The temple represents a place of refuge or sanctuary where one can escape from the pain and chaos of the outside world. The song's lyrics suggest that this love affair is passionate but ultimately doomed and destructive.
In the first verse, the singer describes being in the midst of a chaotic scene - there are fireworks exploding above and he is armed with a gun to defend himself against pain. Despite the chaos, he still seeks refuge in the temple of love, though he recognizes that it is an illusory sanctuary. The lyrics suggest that the singer is aware that he may be deluding himself by seeking safety in love, since he states that "you run for another but it's still the same."
In the chorus, the singer invites the listener to join him in this temple of love, which is described as being both powerful and emotional. The lyrics conjure a sense of both strength and vulnerability: the image of thunder is powerful and intimidating, while the image of crying and weeping is vulnerable and emotional.
In the second verse, the singer describes a sense of loss and regret. He describes his guardian angel walking away, and recognizes that life is short and love is fleeting. The "black wind" represents the sense of change and unpredictability that is inherent in life - it blows the temple of love down and calls the singer's name, suggesting that change is inevitable and cannot be avoided.
The final stanza speaks to the ultimate futility of love, suggesting that all human endeavors are ultimately futile. The "faith for bricks and dreams for mortar" indicates that everything is temporary and fleeting; all one can do is make the most of what time they have left. The repeated refrain of "Hear my calling" suggests a sense of desperation and longing, a plea for meaning in a world where everything is ultimately meaningless. The final line, "And the temple of love is falling down," suggests that the singer recognizes the inevitability of change and the futility of clinging to illusions of permanence or safety.

From BVB’s tiktok
I first discovered Sisters of Mercy in my freshman year of high school, I had a poster of AFI from the Art of Drowning Era and Davey was wearing a SOM shirt and so as was often the case back then I went on the hunt to find the music that inspired my favorite musicians. The very first song I heard by SOM was the 92’ version of “Temple of Love” and I became obsessed with their entire catalog. We’ve talked about doing a BVB version of this song for years and when given the opportunity to collaborate with fellow SOM fan and goth rock icon VV (Ville Valo) it seems like the perfect situation. We are thrilled with how it turned out and hope that anyone who’s familiar with the track enjoys our spin on it and those who have never heard the original enjoy it and maybe this will lead them down the path to the greatness that is SOM like that poster of AFI did for me when I was a kid.
-Andy Biersack
Another one I liked was this one here by “humminwinder”
Thinkin' 'bout this song speaks about kind of fictional love, based entirely on illusions... and not on real emotional state..
like in life you need some kind of temple to protect you from outside world of "pain and fear".. one place for all your hopes and dreams about one person to pray for and keep that fictional world in belief that same person is somehow feeling something too..
..and then you feel unable to keep that temple standing when it gives away under the storm of "black winds" of disillusion following the bitter realization, evidence that he or she don' gives a fuck about you... unprepared to accept the fact but just trying to rebuild it from "breaks" and "mortar" of illusion you feel safe in... while one by one storms of truth keep pounding.. wreackin' havoc upon believin' nature of soul until slowly your faith in love becomes so bleak it finally disappears... unreverseably goes down with the temple (at the end temple falls down totally)
In word, this song is for those types of souls who end up destroying their ability to love for real
just because they spent to much time in fear of loosing it...
And it's a destiny known to me only to well!

Answer all the football questions cause I wanna See you struggle :p
1. What’s your favourite team? FC Chelsea
2. What team do you hate the most? If I had to choose, I'd say FC Bayern Munich because it annoys me how often it's only about them and how little it's about other teams.
3. Who’s your favourite player, all categories? Christian Pulisic
4. Which league is your favourite? Premier League, extremely competitive and easy to get into.
5. What’s your favourite chant/song? The Icelandic chant really grew on me just like other people grew fond of the team.
6. What’s your NT? Is that also your favourite NT? I'm German, but it's far from being my favorite. Out of sympathy I'd say Belgium. Otherwise I find myself rooting for the underdogs.
7. Who’s your favourite player from your own country? When it comes to active players, Die Mannschaft isn't really likeable if you ask me. Instead, I remember liking Robert Huth a lot and him basically burying an opposing player beneath him.
8. Who’s your favourite European player? Luka Modrić
9. Who’s your favourite African player? Sadio Mané
10. Who’s your favourite Asian player? Son Hyeungmin. (Honestly other than him I only know Shinji Kagawa and Takumi Minamino.)
11. Who’s your favourite South/North/Central American player? Christian Pulisic, but if I had to say I really like Guillermo Ochoa. Yes, because he single handedly destroyed the pride of Germany.
12. What team did you support growing up? Do you still support them? National team Germany and football club MSV Duisburg. Both: Not supporting them anymore simply because I stopped caring for them?
13. What’s your favourite Premier League club? FC Chelsea
14. Favourite Bundesliga club? I'm slightly attached to Hildebrand from VfB Stuttgart (simply because I remember enjoying football back in 2005/2006 and they won the Bundesliga back then) but other than that, I guess BVB Dortmund? My dude, I barely care for the Bundesliga.
15. Favourite La Liga club? Right now it's still Real Madrid.
16. Favourite Ligue 1 club? OSC Lille because PSG sucks and I barely know any other teams?
17. Favourite Serie A club? Atalanta Bergamo
18. Favourite club outside the Big 5 Leagues? Ajax Amsterdam
19. Who’s your favourite goalkeeper? Gianluigi Buffon
20. Favourite defender? Virgil Van Dijk
21. Favourite midfielder? Kevin De Bruyne
22. Favourite attacker? Christian Pulisic
23. Favourite coach? Jürgen Klopp. Yes, it's mainstream but I just can't help it.
24. Which big tournament is your favourite? (WC, CL, Euros etc) Europa Ligue
25. What position would/do you play if you were/are a footballer? Centerback. Assuming I play with fellow women, my boyfriend (a.k.a. you) mentioned something about a 6, defensive midfielder.
26. Which stadium is your favourite? Visually I perfer blue colored stadiums so I don't care about which team it belongs to.
27. How many games have you seen live? If the whole "Ronaldinho and Friends"-event counts, I've been to two football matches.
28. Who’s the most famous player you’ve seen live? Ronaldinho and/or Dida.
29. Who’s the most famous player you’ve met? I remember meeting the MSV Duisburg players back when I was eight to ten years old and I only remember that. No names no faces, nothing else.
30. How many football shirts do you own? Currently I own three jerseys: Pulisic (Chelsea 2nd jersey 20/21), Willian (Chelsea 1st jersey 19/20) and a random Olympiakos jersey with no name.
31. Who’s your favourite captain? Luka Modrić
32. Who’s the best player in the world? Messi.
33. Who’s the best player ever? Pelé
34. FIFA/Football Manager? Neither nor. I don't like playing football games.
35. For how long have you been a football fan? I wouldn't consider myself a football fan but if I had to decide the moment I became invested in football was 2018 when the Croatian team (and their jersey) alongside the Belgium team grew on me.
36. Who was your first favourite player? Robert Huth
37. Are your other family members football fans as well? If so, what teams do they support? I actually don't know. I think my father is still interested in the Bundesliga, but supports no team im particular. And I remember my halfbrother being severely shocked whenyou told him Bremen would drop into the 2nd Bundesliga.
38. Why/how did you start liking football? You (little shithead) got me into Chelsea. And since you know a lot about soccer, you were able to explain a lot of things I wanted to know.
39. What local team of yours do you support? None.
40. Put together your dream XI. Buffon (GK) Marcelo, Van Dijk, Huth, James De Bruyne, Modric          Ziyech Pulisic, Lewandowski, Messi

Tactically Naive: A football player speared a fan in the testicles with a corner flag
Tumblr media
Photo by Mark Fletcher/MI News/NurPhoto via Getty Images
Also: a debut hattrick for Erling Braut Håland, and Liverpool win, again
Hello, and welcome to another installment of Tactically Naive, SB Nation’s weekly soccer column. This week: pistachio nuts. Aren’t they great?
The ecstasy and the agony
From the outside, It can often seem like there’s a lot of suffering built into being a Newcastle United fan. This is a club owned by man who evidently holds the club, the city, the fans, and maybe even the whole idea of “other people” in barely concealed contempt. And to be fair, the feeling’s mutual.
Managers arrive starry-eyed at the prospect of guiding this should-be-great club, then leave a little while later, haunted by the things they’ve seen. Players arrive for large fees bearing huge promise, and break, or melt, or simply fade away. The search for a striker goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on. Obviously Newcastle aren’t the Premier League’s most cursed club: that’s Everton. But they do seem to spend a lot of time unhappy.
But every now and then, a shaft of light. A last minute winner against Chelsea, perhaps. And suddenly it all seems worth it, as you are drowned in this glorious surge of communal emotion; as the majesty and wonder of this stupid brilliant hilarious sport takes you and shakes you and throws you in the air. Nothing, nothing, could ruin this instant of perfection. Except perhaps one of your own players hammering a corner flag into the crowd, and into your testicles.
Apologies from Matt Ritchie... and the corner flag #NUFC pic.twitter.com/Wz86Vpl1m4
— Newcastle United FC (@NUFC) January 18, 2020
If this were a metaphor, it would probably get deleted for being a bit on the nose. Well, not the nose. But reality’s editors are notoriously unreliable and usually drunk, so it slipped through. Newcastle United: chucking spears at your balls since 1892. This thing was moving at a fair clip, too.

— Scott Daley (@ScottDaley26) January 18, 2020
Still, at least in moments like this, you can always rely on the sympathy of your fellow fans.
nahh so fucking haydens just scored last minute and matt ritchies just blares the corner flag into the crowd and its only gone and hit this bald bloke in the cock in fucking tears man #nufc pic.twitter.com/3YyicO4YEn

The rightwise king of Europe
Tactically Naive doesn’t believe in destiny. But it looks like Erling Braut Håland does; or at the very least, destiny believes in him. This weekend he made his debut for Borussia Dortmund, coming on after 56 minutes with his new side 3-1 down. Three minutes later, he scored his first. 20 minutes after that, he scored his third.
Nothing like a debut hat trick to say: “Hello. I’m here. And I’m going to score lots and lots of lovely goals.”
A little credit must go to Augsburg’s defence, of course, who have heard of the concept of “an offside trap” but have decided that it’s not for them, thanks. And one was a tap-in. But! Two of Håland’s goals, the first and third, were proper striker’s goals, tucked away with the precision and assurance of a veteran.
The first a snapped finish across the keeper and just inside the far post; the third a kind of mirrorworld version of that goal Thierry Henry always scored, where he keeps the ball rolling along next to him before opening his body and curving it home, all at speed. Henry used his right foot to score his; Håland his left. He’s going to be so good.
In his first game for Dortmund, @ErlingHaaland came off the bench to score three goals in 20 minutes. What were you doing at 19? #FCABVB #BVB pic.twitter.com/f3uxkM6Dmv
— DW Sports (@dw_sports) January 20, 2020
It’s useful that he’s going to be at Dortmund for at least, ooh, half a season, because Dortmund are fun and make the Bundesliga a more interesting place. But also, Håland appears to be the natural heir to Mario Götze. Not as a player, but as Europe’s foremost “footballer that looks like an old-school European princeling, back when such people were appointed by God to ride around on horses ordering the execution of peasants.”
Not the most prestigious award in football, no. But Tactically Naive feels it’s important to keep track of these things just the same. We should probably get a certificate made up.
It’s the face. He doesn’t have the Habsburg Jaw, or anything like it, but there’s a certain set about the eyes, a quirk in the smile. An air surety that just shades into smug. The calm, imperious certainty of a man who knows that he only has to crook his finger — or swing his foot — and the world will do as it’s told. Because that’s what the world is for.
Which, to be fair, it has so far. Three goals on your big club debut: the footballing equivalent of pulling a sword from a stone, or being born to an Exquisitely Important Family.
Apologies from Matt Ritchie... and the corner flag #NUFC pic.twitter.com/Wz86Vpl1m4

Big game, little game
As Super Sundays go, Manchester United’s visit to Liverpool was only moderately super. Indeed, after Burnley’s surprise win over Leicester early in the day, it was positively mundane. Liverpool won, as everybody except the most paranoid of Liverpool fans and most inebriated of United fans expected them to, and the title moved from “certain thing” to “like, really certain thing”.
United didn’t get hammered, which is a thin silver lining but one we’re sure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clinging to. If you can cling to silver linings. They’re just effects of light around the edge of clouds, right? His hands would just pass right through.
Indeed, they might even have nicked a draw: Anthony Martial slashed a very presentable late opportunity into the stands. But it would have been an act of burglary; there was exactly one team on the field deserving of the Big Club label they both luxuriate in. If United had scored? Liverpool would have scored another.
The gap to defending champions Manchester City is now 16 points; the gap to United a mind-boggling 30. One odd statistical quirk of the season is that City have scored 12 more goals than the team they’re chasing. Overall, City have done more damage to their opposition. It’s just that City’s opponents have been able to punch back, whereas Liverpool’s opposition have found it almost impossible to land a blow.
Sometimes Klopp’s side are devastating, and sometimes they’re scrappy. But no team has ever hovered up points quite so relentlessly.

why did Hummels being BVB captain "not end well"? He was a great captain there, they were quite successful with him and loved him...?
May I ask when you entered the football fandom? This is not meant to be an insult or anything, but the season in which he took over the captain’s armband from Sebastian Kehl was the season BVB ended the first half at the bottom of the table. It was also the season Jürgen Klopp decided to leave because things were just going downhill. I am friends with a few Dortmund fans and was told that were quite some quarrels within the team, some players - and apparently Klopp and Tuchel later too - had problems with Hummels’ attitude; I will have to look for sources again, even if the majority will be in German, but there were several incidents of him shoving away all responsibilities when the defence line made mistakes, blaming his fellow defenders or goalkeepers. And when the media brought up the problems, he claimed it was just “because they have nothing bad to talk about Bayern, so they focus on us”. You can ask @creepysora about it too, he couldn’t take any criticism, let alone lead a whole team when he still had to focus on himself. I’m sure that many Dortmund fans would agree that that they had always preferred Marcel Schmelzer over him as captain. Especially in that horror season…
Edit: I’m on mobile, but here are a few sources on him being unable to take criticism.http://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/mats-hummels/zum-motzki-rapport-43014722.bildMobile.htmlhttps://www.welt.de/sport/fussball/bundesliga/borussia-dortmund/article149433055/Hummels-leidet-besonders-unter-der-Bayern-Dominanz.htmlhttp://www.sport1.de/fussball/bundesliga/2015/10/borussia-dortmunds-kapitaen-mats-hummels-nach-topspiel-in-der-kritik

Borussia Dortmund and midfielder Nuri Sahin have prematurely signed a contract extension until 30 June 2019. The Turkey international, who was born in Lüdenscheid and grew up in Meinerzhagen, has – with the exception of two brief spells away from the club – been a Black and Yellow for 16 years.
"We're all delighted Nuri's staying with us. He grew up in the region, he's a really good guy and Borussia Dortmund is deeply ingrained in him," explained BVB Chief Executive Officer Hans-Joachim Watzke.
The 28-year-old, who has had dual German and Turkish nationality since 2011, joined the Borussia Dortmund youth academy in the summer of 2001. Aged 16 years and 355 days he became the youngest player to ever play in the Bundesliga, and is the top-flight's youngest-ever goalscorer too. Since making his debut in 2005, he has played for the club 203 times, scoring 19 goals. Sahin was a central figure in the title-winning season of 2010/11 and was selected for the Bundesliga Team of the Season by his fellow professionals. In the summer of 2011 he fulfilled his dream of moving to Real Madrid, but returned to his roots a year and a half later following a brief loan spell at English club Liverpool.
"Everyone knows how comfortable I feel in Dortmund – both in the city and in this stadium with our extraordinary fans. BVB is the club that belongs to my heart," said the midfielder, who is now in his 12th season as a professional.
"Even though Nuri has had some bad luck with injuries in the past couple of years, he has still repeatedly shown that he can come back and fulfil a very important role in our young team," emphasised Sporting Director Michael Zorc, who wished Sahin a speedy recovery after the player sustained a partial tear of the lateral collateral ligament in his ankle in the match with Borussia Mönchengladbach. Hans-Joachim Watzke and Michael Zorc both said: "We hope that Nuri can still make a comeback in the final weeks of the season. The high quality he offers in sporting and personal terms will undoubtedly help us to achieve our season objectives!"

Can I ask you how you got into supporting both clubs? I have been following you for a long time and I know I followed you because of Arsenal while now you blog a lot more about Spurs. You try not to say who you support more, but it's obvious to me that you switched from one club to the other. I just wonder how and why you started watching games of both clubs? You are probably tired of all the questions, but I think a lot of people just find it interesting you support both clubs. Have a nice day!
Oh, this is actually a very good question, I think I’ll write all this down now so I can refer to it whenever people decide to become problematic again (which will probably be somewhere in the next few months lol). This is going to be looooong (just a little warning).
I never liked football, I found it boring and unnecessary. That probably had to do with my hometown club being abysmal. I went to one game when I was 8 and it was booooring (0-0, and not the good one) and since then they’ve been fighting relegation year after year #NurDerHSV. Also, my family aren’t the biggest football fanatics out there.
I watched World Cup games and enjoyed them because I liked the atmosphere and then I properly got into it during the latter stages of Euro 2016. That’s not too long ago.
I started following a few football blogs on tumblr and (as many of you probably know) most of them were Arsenal blogs. So I started researching a bit, found their Youtube channel and well, the rest is history.
I started liking Arsenal before the 16/17 season had even started, I didn’t fall in love with them for the exquisite football they (can) play but because I liked the vibe of the club and the players (the media team is doing a great job I guess). Also, there was just the most content out there about them and I had no idea about football, I knew goals were scored and that was about it (lol, not quite, but you know what I mean).
So I read and watched as much as I could. When I like something, I want to know everything about it and I think my football knowledge has gotten a lot better in the last few months. I can only dream of having all the memories some of you guys have, but that will come with time.
I started watching the Premier League (because of Arsenal) and I found to enjoy it a lot. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of the Bundesliga (I’m from northern Germany and the clubs here are s h i t). I support BVB but I find the league rather boring, because we all know who’s going to win it in the end. Also, I sadly don’t speak any languages apart from German and English which makes those two leagues the most accessible for me. I like Spanish football, but I just can’t really connect with the clubs/players because I can’t understand them. I love England and the English language and so the EPL became “my“ league.
Well, three games in to the season and I. Was. Obsessed. I loved it so much! I loved Arsenal, we were playing great (let’s ignore that Liverpool result) and it all seemed pretty amazing. I enjoyed hating Tottenham and I also wanted to learn as much as I could about the EPL, so I watched every game possible, trying to understand how football actually works.
During that period I started liking Liverpool for the way they play and many other clubs for nice players or cool fans. Today I can say there is only one club in the EPL I absolutely despise. There are a few I just don’t care about, but many others I have no hard feelings towards at all. I’m a fan of two clubs only though, I define that as watching every game and being affected by the results.
So how did I start supporting rivals? Firstly, I found that rivalry super interesting from day one, I was laughing at Spurs for how bad they were and how good we were.
I can’t even tell you how it started exactly, because I just can’t remember, but I think it has to do with the international break. I still had to pick a backup NT (I’m German, but Die Mannschaft really isn’t my favourite team out there) and as I liked the English league, the English NT followed.
(Spurs fans better not read this next part, lolz). I instantly liked Dele and Eric and their chemistry, was 27534634 pages deep into their tags and just couldn’t not like them. I mean, look at them, I’m pretty sure most people can agree with me in saying they are absolutely adorable. I told my best friend (and fellow football fan) about them and she loved them too. A lot more than I did. I liked Dele and Eric, she liked Dele and Eric of Tottenham Hotspur. I just wanted them to move clubs so I could officially love them.
But you can’t deny that Spurs play amazing, attractive football and when I started watching their games (for D&E), I couldn’t stop myself form secretly cheering for them.
The first NLD of the season came by and I was a die hard Arsenal fan, I wanted us to kill Spurs and freaking put them in their place. 1-1 was probably a fair result in the end, but I wasn’t happy with that.
And then it kinda just happened. I started liking everyone on that team, they are a family and it’s absolutely adorable, Pochettino is amazing and their football makes you happy when you watch it. I don’t really expect you to understand it, but that’s how it was/is for me.
Then there came the time of 5:1’s and underwhelming performances, but I never stopped supporting Arsenal. I was sad and I needed cheering up (lol, this sounds like I’m about to cheat on my husband) and Spurs were there, playing good football, getting results. They were my source of happiness during times when Arsenal were disappointing.
I think it’s quite normal to have a “second“ team to cheer you up a bit when you’re down, it just so happened that Spurs became mine.
At the end of January a very lovely girl messaged me and asked me to join a group chat where we could talk about Spurs and football in general. The people in that chat are now amazing friends to me and I love them all so much. All of them are Spurs fans and I’m pretty sure they play a huge part in my shift of affiliation 😅.
I have met many amazing people here, so many Arsenal fans too! I’ve even been to a game with two of them and it was an amazing experience. I only feel love for both Arsenal and Spurs fans, they are amazing people.
The Spurs fandom on here is much smaller however and (in my personal opinion) a bit more chill, which is something I’ve started to embrace. I’m a very dramatic and pessimistic person and all ze drama isn’t the best for me I think.
So yeah, if you haven’t noticed already, I supported Spurs in yesterday’s NLD and I will probably do so in the future too. If you have a problem with that, I fully understand and won’t be mad if you want to unfollow me.
I don’t say who I support anywhere on my blog (I have before in posts, but not in my bio or anything) because I don’t think it is that important. I post whatever I like to and most of my posts are bad memes anyways. You will continue seeing Arsenal posts on my blog, because I will continue loving them, but there will also be Spurs, Liverpool and other EPL clubs featuring.
Maybe, if I had known about Tottenham Hotspur earlier, I’d have fallen for that club from the beginning, maybe not. It doesn’t really matter anyways, because it is how it is and I love the club and everyone around it.Still, Arsenal is the club that made me fall in love with football and I will always love them for that. I want both my clubs to do well.
I feel like I am where I want to be now, I am happy and no person telling me that I’m not a true supporter or a disgrace to football will change my mind. This is who I am and I’m certainly not ashamed of the football clubs I like.
No amount of nice, insightful or even hateful asks will change anything about this situation. I don’t think my behaviour is hurting anyone, at least that isn’t my intention.
I know there are other people out there who are falling for both teams and I just want to say, I really don’t see the problem. You do you. 💗

^ This is what I like to see to all those that have commented and shared this keep it going. I know that it is sometimes hard to voice your opinion on this subject but the more of us that speak against this type of behavior that is how we can save the BVB and BVB ARMY from imploding in on itself. I am 22 years old have been a fan of theirs for 5-6 years now. only just started having the ability to go as fully as i have. I understand how nerv raking it can be to speak against this because of how many hate her and him for doing what they are doing and being together but the more of us that stand up to this the better the outcome will be YOU WILL NOT GO THROUGH THIS ALONE IF I WILL NO LONGER HOLD BACK and neither should you  THIS NEEDS TO END if WE TRULY WANT TO SAVE BVB and THE ARMY  Also Remember why you started listening to BVB and AB in the first place Where you were when you started How it made you feel How he made you feel How his band made you feel Where you would be had He and His band not did what they did. Remember what you almost did before they came into your life What song made you put down that Blade? What stopped you from swallowing those Pills? What helped you along the way to find that light you so desperately searched for but didn’t know where to look?  How you felt to finally have someone who listened to what you had to say and did not brush you off or Dismiss you? How you felt when you had someone who gave you a meaning and purpose that you craved so desperately? we need to end this dont keep silent any more, dont hide behind Anonymous posts come out of the Shadows, the more we do the better the outcome will be and i PROMISE you that YOU will have BACK UP you will have SUPPORT you will have your fellow ARMY BROTHERS AND SISTERS by your side but all this fighting needs to end if we have any remote chance of survival of this family/ community  OH and to just so that this makes it to all you haters ive made a tag for you so you can find this and can learn you wont last much longer  only a matter of time.

Bundesliga: Schmelzer's situation at BVB: The personalized restart

Bundesliga: Schmelzer's situation at BVB: The personalized restart
Tumblr media
Marcel Schmelzer was captain of Borussia Dortmund for the last two years and during this time he had his toughest time at BVB. The number of his critics increased, his legendary status was shaken violently. Now Schmelzer personifies the new start of the club like hardly anyone else.
Between the lines one could already have guessed it a little. “To be honest, I think more often,” said Marcel Schmelzer in the February 2016 SPOX interview, “I’m wondering whether I’m not going to ask myself after my career why I never changed or why I haven’t at least tried it.”
Two months later Schmelzer extended his contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2021, when he gave the impression that he was seriously considering a change. In the end, however, it was not surprising that he was more attracted by the special prospect of remaining faithful to his Heart Association for years, especially in this day and age, and that he will perceive it well.
A few months later and only three before the attack on the BVB team bus, Schmelzer gave another interview. “If everything goes as planned, I’d like to be remembered as a player who spent his entire professional time at Borussia. Not many people have. It would make me very proud to finish what I started here. From my point of view it would then be a fulfilling career,” Schmelzer told the magazine 11 Freunde.
Schmelzer’s extension of the contract showed that he wants to become a legend at BVB and remain as well remembered as the non-changers Lars Ricken or Michael Zorc. In the meantime Thomas Tuchel had even appointed him captain. In retrospect, however, this is the starting point for the problems that subsequently came up to Schmelzer – and continue to echo to the present day.
Schmelzer already holds legendary status for the majority of Dortmund supporters. There are a lot of reasons for this: The left-back has played for the club for 13 years, won two championships, won two cups and advanced to the Champions League final. But there is a minority of fans who have been challenging his reputation for well over a year.
Schmelzer most recently lived through the most difficult period of his career in Dortmund. When his name was mentioned on Sunday against Leipzig when the team line-up was read out, isolated whistles could be heard in the stadium. Where does that come from?
It’s easy to see that Schmelzer’s two seasons as captain went through a phase that was undoubtedly the most complicated in Dortmund’s last ten years.
When Tuchel made him captain in the summer of 2016, Marco Reus was injured. After his return in winter, the ex-coach sparked an unnecessary debate that lasted far too long: “I’ll talk to Marcel and Marco about it. The impression that Tuchel wanted to sell Schmelzer was in the world. This may have been one of the reasons why Schmelzer’s relationship with Tuchel was broken.
This was followed by the turbulence surrounding the attack and Tuchel’s future, which, after the cup final won by his captain, clearly saw one: Schmelzer was shocked and echauffiert by the non-consideration of his friend and fellow player Nuri Sahin the same evening. A few days later, Tuchel was released and by this time at the latest, the number of Schmelzer critics in the fan community had increased.
Some saw him as one of the leaders of the Kontra-Tuchel group within the team, which was then divided into two Tuchel camps. Others complained loudly about Schmelzer’s stagnating performance. And this polemic has accompanied the 30-year-old ever since.
Looking at the past season, which was in no way inferior to the last Tuchel months in terms of errors and confusion, it is true that Schmelzer was far from his usual level of performance. However, this also applied to every other player. Schmelzer was no exception, especially as he was injured twice in series at the start of the season and again during the winter break.
But he was the captain of a sinking ship. “I prefer to stay in the background, public speaking is not really mine. I don’t have to keep my head in the cameras either. But as a person I would like to be even more self-confident about my appearance,” he told SPOX two years ago.
All this belonged, however, to Schmelzer’s tasks as captain, he had to be omnipresent in the media. There were some situations in this very complicated time, both in sporting and political terms, which were difficult to moderate and sometimes overtaxed him. Schmelzer deservedly belongs to the leading players at BVB and has also carried a lot of internal responsibility for many years, but the personality of a strong leader is somewhat losing him.
The negative spiral bottomed out at the end of last season. Peter Stöger surprisingly put Schmelzer in the stands, ordered Manuel Akanji to the completely unfamiliar left-back position and clearly criticised his captain. The responsible persons had identified a helpless body language in the weakly shaped smelter and no longer trusted him to lead the highly insecure team.
The end of the song: Three months ago Schmelzer released the bandage. It was just as long ago that you last got a statement from him. Since the start of the preparation, Schmelzer has deliberately not made a statement, and is still waiting for the former captain’s assessment of the club’s upheaval and his own situation.
Schmelzer personifies the new start at BVB like hardly anyone else. It had already been copied several times, this year it appeared more frequently on one of the media launch lists, the Dortmund interest in Cologne’s Jonas Hector was guaranteed. But Schmelzer is still kicking at the BVB, is still a regular and the fifth coach in a row.
This alone speaks against the assertions of his critics that Schmelzer hardly embodies any Bundesliga level any more. Instead, as with any other football player, realism should return to the assessment of his performance: Schmelzer is a play-intelligent fighter who can anticipate well and always supports offensively. He also managed the start of the season personally, preparing the important 1:1 against Leipzig and made a good game.
However, he will no longer be able to fundamentally change his player type, and the phase in the Klopp era between 2010 and 2013 will not return in this form either. Nevertheless, it is by no means the case that there would be significantly better left-back players in the 15 Bundesliga.
Schmelzer will currently have the hope of finding his way back to the track and to Constance without the attention that the captainship brings with it. The exertions of the past two years have added to his legend request, Schmelzer’s status at the BVB has been shaken and he has wavered in the meantime.
But he mustn’t fall. That would be completely untypical for Borussia Dortmund, where one would like to think about the core characteristics of the club again. And only a few members of the BVB squad, like Schmelzer, stand for traditional Ruhrhott values such as maloche, fighting spirit and loyalty.
With the slogan “Everything on new! Everyone here is breaking their sashes”, the south grandstand opened a big banner on Sunday. That should apply to a well-earned player like Marcel Schmelzer, especially in Dortmund.

I haven't got a credit card on me. The one drawback i have is who goes in the final three and who gets a spot in the workforce.
