“You expect me to do nothing?” He asked, voice close to incredulous as he forced words through labored gasps. He had used up quite a bit of magic energy to extinguish their opponent---not to mention the injury which had becoming increasingly more alarming over the course of their battle.

He had been struck through the shoulder, and though the wound hadn’t been fatal or highly damaging to any vitals, he had already lost quite a bit of blood. Now it was becoming hard to stand, dizziness and the weight of his agony pushing him towards the ground. He wheezed as his vision blurred---it was the closest to a bitter laugh he could possibly muster. “Are you injured?”

“Really now? Little brats finally decided to say hello then?”He smiled at her, it had been one of the rare times he was home when someone came a-calling. “Can I feel?”

He held his breath as her eyes caught the evidence of what was once a particularly deep gash just above his waistline. Her hand lifted, fingers trailing across it. He could feel the question in her presence even before she asked it.

“It happened a long time ago.” He assured. “Don’t worry.”

Laxus stared dead into Frigg’s eyes, scoffing, and then going back to shoving clothes into a black trunk. She was planning on leaving Magnolia today - her house located in the woods was already up for sale and her train ticket was in her coat’s inner pocket. “Why the fuck not?”

I was a young girl, Laxus had come for a visit and We were out during the winter with out the governess.” Lexus chuckled softl“Laxus and I found a camp in the woods. It had been abandoned years ago. But Laxus and I fixed it up a bit and decided this would be our secret play place. We ended up living out there for almost a week, Half the army was searching for us. But Laxus and I were having the time of our lives. We could hunt, Cook And do what ever we wanted.” She sighed“Eventually we had to go back when I got sick from eating some bad meat, Laxus took me back even thought it meant we had to face Ivan.” Lexus chuckled softly and looked out the window“Which is when he decided to brand us as his own flesh and blood.”
