Summary: Nathan admits his feelings for you after years being friends.

High school used to be something you loved. It was the only time of day where you didn't have to put up with your recently divorced parents' bullshit and where the world around you seemed to stop spinning. 

You were lucky because of the friendships you had built since you were a kid. Brooke and Nathan were your rocks, almost like your family. Peyton was also your friend, but your different relationships with Nathan had caused a rift between you two.

Now that they had broken off their relationship, you and Peyton had finally had the time to really get to know each other and see that you actually had a lot more in common than you realized. Before, Peyton used to feel jealous of your close relationship with Nathan. Now she saw how stupid she had been to misjudge you. But in her defense, the looks Nathan gave you showed much more than just love between friends.

You laughed when you heard her say that. 

Nathan Scott? in love with you? Her best friend since kindergarten? 

The mere thought made you laugh.

But Peyton and Brooke seemed pretty convinced by the statement. 

You told them once again they were crazy as you walked into the classroom for your favorite activity of the day. Theater.

It was the space where you could express all your feelings in a less personal and intimate way. A way to make art out of all the pain you had in your life. But there was also a lot of joy and happiness in it.

Nathan was one of the reasons why you kept fighting.

The notes he used to leave you in your locker, encouraging you for the day. The flowers he would send you every time you had a play, or how he would dedicate his scores to you with little winks and smiles meant just for you.

But lately, Nathan had been far from being the friend you used to lean on. He had been spending time with his new tutor, Haley James, for several days. Even though you had offered to help him yourself.

You liked Haley. She was sweet, kind and especially caring. Years back, when you were the shyest kid in school, she and Lucas were the only two people besides Nathan who used to spend time with you. But when Brooke met you everything changed and high school inevitably separated you because of your friendship groups.

Today, like many others, a basketball game was going to take place in the gym right around the time you left the theater. 

For you it was routine to go straight out to watch Nathan on the court, playing as if the sport was the air he breathed. 

You saw the large group of students and parents enter the place, you saw Brooke and Payton with beaming smiles and their cheerleading pom-poms through the door and you hesitated whether to go in.

Nathan had been distant and had simply ignored you today, so why should you force him to pay you any attention. 

The fact was that basketball wasn't something you particularly enjoyed watching. No sport was. You were an artist. But for Nathan you would watch anything.

Yet, tonight you decided to turn around and walk away from the crowd of people in Tree Hill Ravens jerseys and walked home as the sun set over the horizon. You had exams to study for, homework to do and text to memorize. You couldn't waste time at a basketball game.

And although coming back home was usual a nightmare, tonight the universe seemed to be on your side and decided to give you some peace. Your mother was out, so you had the house to yourself.

After leaving your backpack in your room and putting one of your favorite music records in the player, you went downstairs to feed your dog and grabbed an ice cream from the freezer and a spoon before sitting down on the couch to go over the dialogue of the play.

Time always flew when it came to theater. Especially if you were alone and could imagine the scenes on the spot, walking around the room while saying the text to an invisible audience. Well, not totally. Your dog always barked every time you finished and smiled.

When you petted his head for the tenth time that night you didn't know how long it had been until your doorbell echoed and your eyes traveled to the clock by the fireplace.

It was past midnight.

Not a normal hour for visits.

“Mom, I told you to remember your keys. I can't open the door for you every day” You growled, walking towards the door. But your words caught in your throat at the sight of who stood at the other side of the door. “Nathan?”

Pale-faced and dressed in his basketball uniform and a black hoodie, Nathan Scott was standing in front of you. His blue eyes pleading for you to let him in. And so you did. Without a second thought, you stepped aside and let him into the house he had been in so many times before.

“I screwed up.” Nathan announced, sitting down on the couch.

Your dog ran over to him for a quick pet and then lay down next to him, resting his head on his lap. Nathan smiled slightly as he petted him behind the ears, enjoying his soft hair and the love he was showing him.

You couldn't help but smile too, admiring the tender and familiar sight before your eyes.

“What do you mean?” You asked after a few seconds as you moved closer to sit next to him.

Nathan took a deep breath before answering.

“I took something to play better. I needed to keep up and show my dad that I was still the best. That I was better than...”

“Who? Lucas?” You interrupted him.

Nathan sighed, looking down at the floor. But that was answer enough for you.

“Nathan, you don't have to prove anything to anyone. You're the best basketball player on the team, and all of Tree Hill. We all need a break, okay? That doesn't make you weak or a worse player.”

“I should have told you sooner.” Nathan admitted, raising his gaze up to meet your eyes. “I could have used to hear that before I passed out in the middle of the game.”

Your eyes widened.

“You passed out? My God, Nathan you should be in a hospital.” You said, getting to your feet.

“No, no.” He said, holding your wrist and pulling you back to sit next to him. “I already went. I actually ran away from there to come here.”

“You're crazy.” 

“'Yeah. I might be.” He admitted with a small smile peeking through his lips. “But at that moment, when everything was going black and I couldn't breathe, all I could think about was you. About how I had to get well for you. And that the moment I could stand on my feet again I would come straight to you.”

Nathan's words left you completely speechless. You didn't know what to think. 

Was he saying what you thought he was saying? 

“Nate...”

“You don't have to say anything.” He cut you off, moving a strand of hair from your face. A gesture he'd never made before and felt especially loving and intimate at that moment. “I just needed you to know.”

The silence in the house made the tension between you rise. Your breaths were the only thing you could hear and feel besides the annoying and constant sound of the clock ticking with each passing second in which neither of you made the slightest attempt to separate from the other.

His eyes were watching you in a way you had never seen before. A gaze full of love, affection and even hope. A look of longing. 

It was the look that Peyton and Brooke described every time you laughed at their theories about Nathan having a crush on you. Now those laughs faded into the past as you realized they had been right all along. 

And the feel of his fingers touching the tip of the strand of hair he had tucked behind your ear was soft and gentle. His blue eyes were mesmerizing. You could almost feel yourself sinking, drowning and dying in them. 

And his lips...

God, that's why you'd never really looked at his lips before. Because with just one look your whole body was begging you to taste them.

Sensing your hesitation, Nathan started to feel like he had screwed up by admitting his feelings. You were his best friend. His only friend if he was honest with himself. And he had just shattered the only real relationship he had. 

“I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that.” He apologized suddenly, pulling his face away from yours.

Your doe-eyes and the slight pout on your lips watched him rise from the couch in an almost impossible speed for you to react in time.

It wasn't until your dog barked next to you that your body finally decided to act and follow his footsteps towards the door.

Nathan turned to you with confusion and concern when he heard your leg hit the wooden table, but before he could say anything your lips were on his, silencing his words and all the doubts in his mind.

The kiss felt familiar. Extremely familiar. Almost as if your lips were meant to be against each other's.

The kiss began slowly and hesitantly. But as soon as Nathan came out of his initial state of shock his hands soon traveled to your waist while you entwined the fingers of one of your hands in his hair and held his cheek with the other, pulling him closer to you while your tongue asked for permission to enter his mouth.

Smiling unconsciously, Nathan welcomed your tongue and the both of you began to fight to see who could show their love for the other the most.

It was no different from how your friendship was, where competition was a part of your dynamic.

You let out a small moan as you pulled away a few inches to catch your breath. Nathan took the opportunity to press you to the wall and began to kiss your jaw, moving slightly down towards your neck as your body arched against his touch.

“You don't know how long I've been waiting for this.” He smiled against your skin as he moved toward your ear.

Shivers of pleasure ran through your body as you felt him in that sensitive spot.

“Don't waste any more time then, Scott.” You replied, grabbing his hair to force him to look you in the eyes. “I'm all yours.”

With a smile, Nathan found your lips once again, gaining another moan from you.

Random hello neighbor headcanons i have

-Other than being in the inventors club Enzo is also part of the photography club.Finch is part of that club too and they actually don't mind each other.Finch also gave at Enzo a camera as a gift

-at the start of his career Keith was quiet different.He genuine wanted turn Raven Brooks in a Better place but more time passed more he saw this as impossible,the town didn't get better,kids went missing and as Police officer he felt useless

-Lucy and Mya visit the rest of the inventors club in dreams

-Otto doesn't really care about the crow faces/forest protectors,he just joint them cause they said they would have keep teenagers and kids out of his proprierty,he barely understand what are their intentions

-Gerda and Nicky had a lot of discussion about aliens since they both believe in aliens

-Finch and Trinity have a big rivalry, especially regarding school

-Nicky thinks Delroy is cool but he would never say it loudly

-Enzo is one of the strongest boy in school even without training but he feels inferior to his sister and the others in the club.Same with Maritza in intelligence,she is one of the smartest but she comparate herself to Enzo and she feel inferior

-Piper ,Delia and Pris came from Act 3 city

-Beatrix had gone missing in 1970

-Despite being really different Ivan and Maritza are very close to each other,their Friendship is very strong and Maritza consider Ivan at the same level (or pretty close) to Lucy and Mya

General Thoughts on Waking Nightmare (Hello Neighbor)

(Spoilers, obviously.)

I'll be blunt. Waking Nightmare is by far the best Hello Neighbor media that I've ever interacted with. Not best in the sense of “It's at least better than the rest of the franchise”, but in the sense that's actually fantastic.

So, the plot tries to focus on two main things at once, with side plots that focus more on the relationships between the cast. These two things are: the absence of Aaron and Mya, and the Earthpro plan.

To me, what makes this book better than Missing Pieces is how much it focuses on the different points of view regarding a topic. And how--sometimes--you won't find a right or wrong side, just different beliefs that are unique to each and every character, their lives.

You see this with Nicky's parents. Jay wants to maintain his integrity as a journalist and not slander Mr. Peterson, given how Earthpro's approach on the Golden Apple plan are, by his words, “anti-Peterson”. But Lu believes that the university's chemistry could benefit from Earthpro, which would help her job. So you can see the problem.

Also, even if Earthpro's approach is akin to that of a greedy company (like, some companies), Mrs. Yi did raise a pretty important point: the ruins of the Park marked a tragedy that changed Raven Brooks forever. And, out of everyone, she probably has the most place to talk here, given that it was her daughter who died in the accident.

I also want to emphasize Enzo and Nicky's friendship. They have a fall-out in the middle of the book, though both of them had valid points. Nicky is right about Peterson, and is in his right to suspect that there's more about Aaron and Mya. But you can't exactly blame Enzo for not wanting Maritza around this, especially after what Peterson said to her just after Lucy's death.

But they're 12 (something really significant to keep in mind), so they both said things they eventually regret having said.

Lucy is a really amazing character. She's the unseen main character, not making any physical appearance, but still directly relevant to the plot.

The book in general is kind of sad. Especially how it handles Nicky's feelings over the disappearance of his best friend. Although I'll say that part of the police officers not taking their evidence seriously kinda pissed me off. But this is part of our reality, too--neglectful police.

Overall, better than Missing Pieces, and I look forward to Buried Secrets (though I'm afraid the conclusion will disappoint me somehow).

Who else is a Selkie in your AU?

There’s a lot actually! Friendship between Nicky and the rest of the group and how they learn that Nicky is a selkie and try to help him escape! Seth and Ruben are also selkies in it but they live in raven brooks and frequent between land and sea but thankfully no one sees them! Nicky tries to adjust to being on land while Ted is practically smothering him and saying that he’s human now and that he needs to stick close to his “dad”. Nicky goes to school and makes a couple escape attempts but they aren’t successful!

Aren't you here to ask me about the missing residents? INTERVIEWER: Well, yes, but I thought- INTERVIEWEE: I don't know anything about them. How many other people have you tried to ask about this? INTERVIEWER: Not too many... let's, maybe... change the subject. May I ask you about your relations with Theodore Peterson? I heard word from some other residents of you two being quite close for a while, and then abruptly becoming distant. What's up with that? INTERVIEWEE: [No response] INTERVIEWER: Cookie? You okay? INTERVIEWEE: Yeah, yeah, I just... [Pause] We were friends for a few years. I used to, um, sort out his cable when it acted up. His wife and I were quite close, too. Such a lovely woman. I miss her. The house was very cluttered, it looked like he became a hoarder, which isn't uncommon when in mourning. INTERVIEWER: What happened after he let you in? INTERVIEWEE: I went into his sitting room, and he went to the kitchen to cut the cake and make some tea. Standard guest catering. As I went into the sitting room, I noticed a key on one of his chairs. Most rooms in the house were locked - I saw that when I went in - so it wasn't something I thought to pay much attention to. That is, of course, until I heard... a noise. It sounded like screaming, and someone clawing at a door. I took the key and went to investigate, the sound was coming from his basement door. Then- INTERVIEWER: He heard it too, didn't he? He must have come to investigate the noise as well, and then... then what happened? INTERVIEWEE: I tried to unlock the lock on the basement door. The voice that was screaming sounded familiar to me, I had to get whoever was in there out. Unfortunately, I had the wrong key. Before I could go to find another one, Peterson grabbed me. He pinned me against the door by my collar, I'd never seen him so aggressive, so angry. I don't know how long he had me there for, but he came to his senses at some point and let go of me. I remember running out of there without hesitation, I didn't look back even once. I just ran home. INTERVIEWER: Oh, God, that's terrible. Did you inform the police of what happened? INTERVIEWEE: Of course I did. I told Officer Leslie, he told me he'd do something about it, then never did. Actually, on the topic of Leslie, he isn't someone you should put your trust into - the same could be said for the majority of this town. INTERVIEWER: Really? Hey, y'all...it's been awhile. I haven't forgotten about this blog, and I hope you haven't either!

I'm still hoping to come back. I've had a lot of things going on in my personal life preventing me to return here, though. Health problems, mental and emotional issues, friendship issues, and hyperfixations changing. I'm currently hyperfixated on Hello Neighbor: Welcome To Raven Brooks (cringe worthy, I know) and ocs for the show I have with some friends of mine. I've been hyperfixated on it since around november, when I took my hiatus from this blog. My interest in Your Turn To Die has been wavering since as well, but that's no surprise.

However, Your Turn To Die, and Ranmaru, are both very special to me. Your Turn To Die helped me meet my very best friend ever, and well. Ranmaru is Literally Me. So, no matter what changes go on in my life, I will soon come back to this blog to show the same love I had when I started this blog in the first place!

Sorry for the longer post. I just wanted to get some feelings out while reminding people following this account that I am, in fact, alive! Thank you for the kind messages in my inbox, I treasure them greatly. <3

Post-Save Arcadia Bay headcanons

Since we never got anything detailing what happens after Max saved Arcadia Bay, not a mention in LIS 2 or a single comic on what could've happened because Square Enix refuses to give us post content for EVERY ending in LIS. Here is my personal headcanon and what a hypothetical Post-Save The Bay universe could look like.

There is a long period of grieving after the funeral. And nightmares of Jefferson.

The Blue Butterfly is a constant presence in Max's dreams

This would be the story of Max trying to move on, going through grief, Warren, Kate and the rest of Max’s friends helping Max through this sad period of her life.

Warren comes to sleep with Max to help soothe her nightmares. Sometimes her friends have sleepovers so they don't leave Max alone.

Max goes to the psychologist. She takes pictures but almost all of them are Chloe related. At the same time with her friends. There, Max learns to value her friends EVEN more and vows not to abandon them like she did with Chloe.

Max learns to listen and get to know herself more. And to be as brave as Chloe was

Much like the raven was for BTS. Max will dream of Chloe, trying to convince Max she has to let go of her guilt and move on with her life but know that she will always be in Max’s heart and also for her.

Warren would be a positive presence for Max, always there for her and a good influence during her grieving period. They’d watch movies together in their dorm rooms and just hangout. Warren’s presence soothes Max’s broken heart and this is why Max slowly falls in love with him.

Kate, Warren, Dana, Alyssa, Stella, Juliet, Daniel and even Victoria would be there for Max

With Kate, Kate is Max’s angel. Like Warren, Kate lifts Max up after the loss of Chloe. Kate would play her violin for Max, take Max to her Church groups and Kate would allow Alice to love Max up and tea dates just to brighten Max’s days up.

Max and Victoria would make peace and Victoria would help her through her grief, which would result in Max and Victoria finally becoming friends. Victoria, Taylor and Courtney would take Max out for shopping, dress Max up and Victoria would help reignite Max’s love for photography and would not let Jefferson ruin her passion. Max and Victoria together would take some killer shots. Victoria would tell Max “when you are a famous photographer, you can put your pictures in my gallery” and it was a deal, Max would focus on becoming a photographer and Victoria would become heir to the Chase Space. Max and Victoria embrace in a hug.

Max would confront Nathan in a mental institution. Upon being visited by Max, Nathan would break down in tears and tell her he did not mean to kill Chloe, hurt Kate or hurt Rachel. He didn’t want to hurt anyone and profusely apologize, but he knows he has to live with what he’s done and Max takes it upon herself to forgive Nathan and hug him. This results in a monthly visit where Max and Victoria would visit Nathan, think of this like the fanfic The Sense Of Me for Max and Nathan’s friendship.

We could also get a dream of Chloe telling Max that she loves Joyce and that she forgives her and misses her and Max would tell Joyce this and Joyce would break down in tears.

As enough time to process the grief and begin healing, Max and Warren go Ape and Max thanks Warren for being there for her during her mourning and Max tells her how much she appreciates Warren and confesses that she loves him and kisses Warren. Also Max and Warren would go on a double date with Brooke and Daniel

Time passes and Max would graduate from Blackwell with a promising career in photography on the horizon. But also an interest in photojournalism sparks Max's interest

It could close on Max, Warren, Kate, Nathan(would be after his release and after he visits Chloe’s grave and breaks down and says he’s sorry, would also make peace with Kate, Joyce and David), Victoria, Dana, Juliet, Stella, Brooke, Daniel, Alyssa, Steph, Mikey, Frank, Joyce and David at the Lighthouse. Chloe’s spirit looking on her family and Max proudly, and Chloe’s spirit finally moves on.

See, this was really confusing to me, because I have a couple of HN AU's with Nicky in them.

1. He goes into the woods and asks The Guest to kill him, but ends up joining the cult, but as "The Dove."

2. He joins the gang in Season 2 to help with the Crowface mystery.

3. A Secret Neighbor AU where he, Aaron and Mya have to work together to save Mrs. Peterson.

4. Friendship In Raven Brooks, where Nicky met Aaron, Mya, Enzo, Maritza and Trinity sooner. (Along with the rest of the Secret Neighbor gang.)

Great question... Not to... spoil the fun.. She's a very messy middle school kid who is an unfortunate victim of circumstances.

I rewrote it instead of Aaron travelling around the world it was more like Diane and Ted rode across America because of Ted's projects and Aaron was born in Orlando, Florida during the mids of Ted building Bosco Bay. But! She mostly does not remember much about Florida and grew up under the buckle of Raven Brooks being an ABSOLUTE outcast for as long as she remembers, she of course she and her dad buds heads and no matter how long Aaron tries to live to the expectations, she's never gonna live up to him so she's more incline to reach more with her mom and though she doesn't intend it she sometimes feels an inferiority complex to Mya (Despite them both suffering no Ted not abusing her does not mean it's peachy for her)

Still was friends with Enzo at one point till the bucket hit about the "Did you see Lucy fly?" comment towards Maritza thus the Espositos don't go there no longer so Aaron has some codependency traits when it comes to his friendship with Nick who he himself is very new to this too...

She's a very messy character having to emotionally try to navigate her emotions, having to deal with her father's ruling fist under the family and eventually uncovering one of the worst secrets that he kept for so long that broke the family apart and Ted is trying to mend the mess he felt Aaron started

Standing outside of a gothic-style church in the heart of Chicago, Jackie looks at a familiar mass of friends and family, standing outside of its dreary gates.

Well, with the exception of a scrawny old man, who is staring down at his feet like a small child.

In turn, Jackie waltzes on over, with a loud, obnoxiously scoff. "Why are you being a pain?"

"My feet hurt." Eric's loafers awkwardly collide with the sidewalk, as he glances up at the still raven-haired vulture. "I think I might have arthritis or something."

Jackie dismissively chuckles, showing off her Jimmy Choos. "You wouldn't last a day in high heels."

Eric attempts to cool a faded aura of tension, left over from the ills of the past, with a small, lighthearted little factoid. "Did you know that men were the first to wear high heels? Louis XIV didn't like that he was short, so..."

Jackie laughs, once again. "What, did you read that off a popsicle stick or something?"

Eric rolls his eyes, at Jackie's sheer dismissiveness, as they both truly return to their youthful, playful, and brutal rhythm. "I'm a history teacher, so..."

"You like to talk about old, rusty things like yourself?"

He defiantly crosses his arms, with wild hand gestures. "Rusty pot, rusty kettle."

"Rusty kettle?" Jackie dramatically flips her hair, with a rebellious smirk. "I'm almost two years younger than you."

"A year and a half," Eric corrects, in the tone of an aged teacher, "You're still over the hill, and through the woods..."

"To grandmother's house we go?" Leah and James emerge from the small crowd, and James is cradling a fussy bundle of joy, his tiny face as red as his hair. "We're doing this for you, Mom. Because God doesn't exist..."

Jackie can't help but scoff at her son. She loves him, but he can be obnoxious sometimes. "Can you stop being such an atheist at my grandson's christening?"

The other scarlet-haired grandmother finally exits the looming mass, after talking to Brooke for a few moments, cooing at her grandson. As James allows Donna to take the boy, a cute chubby thing with pale, freckly skin and icy blue eyes.

Donna smiles, as little Caleb immediately stops fussing and starts to beam, from ear to ear.

"Don't you mean our grandson?"

Jackie can't help but lovingly glance at her grandson, if only for a mere second, before racing over to play with her little prince. Playing a game of peek-a-boo.

With the exception of those iconic baby blues, the resemblance to one particular set of grandparents is incredibly uncanny. "Yeah, he looks like you two."

Eric nods, ever so proudly. "The Donneric Formciotti genes are strong."

"Unlike you?" Jackie shoots back, glancing at Donna, "Donna can still kick your ass."

Eric jokingly covers Caleb's ears. "Our grandson doesn't need to hear that language..."

Hyde finally ambles on over, kissing Jackie's temple as Eric and Donna loudly and jokingly coo. "Shit's ready to go, doll."

Jackie kisses him back, with a defiant roll of the eyes, at Eric's expense. "Yeah, we're so the cool grandparents."
