so like in joking i’ll say “i’m the real chandler bing” but i’ve realized that i just am chandler bing. i’m the “hopeless romantic” of my friend group (im gonna kms) and that im the last to find love. im always and use humor as a coping mechanism. i’ve like almost all my friends once before and was promptly made fun of. i definitely have daddy issues, insecurities, and such. i’m not very religious, but i have my following. commitment? the fuck is that!! i have severe trust issues, along with anxiety. we both very easily screw up and make mistakes, but we apologize and **attempt** to learn from them. i’m a huge smart aleck, but i care. i’m loyal if i need to be, and my friends are my family.

I have a feeling that someone in the writers room really likes these two together, because the amount of jokes about them getting together exist to the degree that imply actual thoughts of the two being a couple. As a writer myself I wouldn't constantly put two characters together romantically, even as a joke, unless I wanted them to be endgame. And I understand that even in the late nineties and early 2000s, having an openly gay couple be the main characters of a massive TV show, kissing and being in a serious relationship instead of a one-off joke, would've been controversial and could have honestly ended the show, but I feel that it could have been beneficial to society as a whole in the way that Mitch and Cam were in Modern Family. You see, the portrayal of Mitch and Cam in Modern Family led to a whole new understanding of the LGBTQ community for families living in conservative middle-america-"
