In my late 20s, I thought I was done making new friends. I had plenty of “people I knew” and people I was friendly with but very little long lasting relationships. I spent most of my 20s dedicating myself to work and building a career. Starting a new relationship, which was rocky to say the least, I just didn’t have the time. I was ok with the number friends I had, because to me it was quantity over quality. The people I considered friends have been RIDE OR DIE. I knew the second I called for help they would be right there by my side. Now in the last 6 months the friction of life has forced out of my comfort zone. This move has made space for incredible new connections. My tribe has doubled. I have a group of women who I LOVE! We connect daily via text, memes or messenger. Sometimes all 3 in one day with the addition of snap. These connections and tiny blurbs feed my soul with LAUGHTER, JOY and GRACE. I appreciate every single one of my friends who are now spread throughout the country. I don’t feel as if I’m missing anything in life and I am absolutely GRATEFUL for your generosity, love and support.
