I drew my WH OCs in @chez-cinnamon 's real world AU. I also made a disgruntled ex Playfellow employee to take care of them, her name is Mabel.

Wendy Darling

She's very worried about their predicament and her brother's well-being. Mabel gave her a necklace to figit with when stressed so she doesn't rip her hair out. She's not losing sleep, stress is just making her look tired.

Sarah Spider

As soon as she saw the spider web skirt she was in love with the goth aesthetic. She modified her shirt a bit to fit her extra arms, same with Marshall's shirt for his wings and extra arms.

Marshall Moth and Amorette Lovely

They're worried about not being useful because they don't have any of their medical equipment. Mabel has found ways to keep them occupied though.

Hailey Pillar and Freya Frankly

Hailey is paranoid because she has no clue where they are. Freya helps keep her calm though. To keep themselves from worrying about Frank and Howdy they read botany and gardening books from Mabel's home and the local library.

Mabel

She's nice but looks a bit intimidating because of her naturally slightly angry face. She's got a cigarette addiction that's slowly getting better due to Freya hiding her lighter so the sound doesn't frighten Hailey as well as Marshall and Amorette hiding her cigarette boxes somewhere she can't find for the life of her. She doesn't care what others think, she only dresses for her comfort even if it means her puppet children guests call her outfit choices "grandma clothes". She's also epileptic so she just has to get double of her medication for Wendy. On top of getting ink for them, her money situation isn't the best but she has given up on caring at this point.

Bonus: siblings reunite for the fist time since Home sent them here.

The Loss Of You Crushes Me - Alex/Joanna Beauchamp, Joanna Beauchamp & Wendy Beauchamp

A/N: Part 2/5 for this week’s Year of Whump prompts from @soheavyaburden​ .

“She’s heartbroken, obviously.” Freya’s voice is flat, almost angry, but protective and Alex nods just the once, crossing to the bed, settling quietly to stroke Joanna’s hair. She won’t ask for anything, she had felt Wendy’s final death ripple through the bond between them all, answering before Freya could even call for her. “Leave her with me girls, she’ll be okay.” Alex had already done what she could to safeguard Joanna, hiding anything she could possibly use to hurt herself but now she’s focused purely on healing Joanna’s heart. “Alex…” “Hey Love, I’m here.” Alex murmurs softly, settling behind Joanna slowly, curling herself around her and waiting for Joanna to choose to speak. “She’s gone.” Heartbroken. Joanna’s voice is rough now and Alex sighs, pressing a kiss to Joanna’s bare shoulder. “I know Darling, I know. I’m sorry.” “Do I have to stay?” “I’m afraid so Darling.” Alex murmurs, pressing light kisses to Joanna’s shoulder again. “I’ll be here. As long as you need me.” Later, much later, Joanna allows Alex to bring her food and tea, eating delicately, barely managing a tiny smile. She’s been afraid to lose Wendy for years and she will always miss her, but with Alex she can finally feel safe. She can mourn her way, gather her strength for the next challenge and wait, wait for her heart to heal.

Ok, since there’s a new Peter Pan film coming out, here’s my thoughts on five previous portrayals of Wendy Darling.

My all-time favourite is Rachel Hurd-wood from the 2003 film. In my opinion, she is the definitive Wendy. The writing was phenomenal and Rachel was perfectly cast.

My least favourite is the version from Once Upon a Time. I have nothing against Freya Tingley, I just thought the writing was absolutely pathetic.

Disney (animated) Wendy will always have a special place in my heart because she was the first Wendy I saw. And I love seeing her as an adult in the sequel.

Dame Maggie Smith was wonderful in Hook (1991) and I thought the idea of Wendy growing up to help find homes for orphans was really cool and very in-character for her.

And Wendy in the 2015 telemovie Peter and Wendy- look that entire movie is very underrated.

So, fingers crossed that we get another good Wendy with Ever Anderson in the upcoming Disney film.

Here's a short story of Wendy, the Cabin boy and Captain Darling for @rainbow-neko-artblog 's WH Creature Pirate AU. Enjoy

"The ship had been ambushed by another while we were all enjoying the celebration of Wendy's birthday. Howdy and Frank's sisters, Hailey and Freya, even showed up for celebration. Most of the opposing crew had either been thrown overboard or were running to their ship out of fear but the Captain had been ambushed and injured by a rookie on the other crew. Both the crew of the S.S. Home and the enemy crew froze before Wendy started singing, keeping both crews in place."

"Hear my voice beneath the sea, Sleeping now so peacefully At the bottom of the sea. Sleep for all eternity."

"Get Wally out of here." Wendy commanded before she continued her song, Barnaby and Poppy had rushed him away while the rest of the crew remained rooted to the spot out of something I couldn't place, whether it be shock or fear, I don't know. I couldn't take my eyes off the sight of Wendy slowly approaching the rookie and grabbing them by the neck scarf and leading them to the edge of the ship."

"Let the ocean fill your lungs, struggle not, soon peace will come. Taking in your final breath sink down to the ocean's depths. Hear my voice beneath the sea, sleeping now so peacefully at the bottom of the sea, sleep for all eternity. Sailors live so restlessly, come with me, sleep peacefully. Listen to this siren's song, worry not for nothing's wrong. Let my voice lead you this way, I will not lead you astray. Trust me as we reach the side jumping out where men have died."

"As she ended her song, she dragged them overboard and an audible splash was heard before the rest of the crew and myself were able to move again. It was a blur after that but the Captain was fine, he just needed bed rest for a while. He was out cold and the rest of the crew was filtering out of the room but Barnaby and I stayed so he wouldn't wake up alone. When he came to he wanted to see Wendy but she hadn't come back yet, Barnaby was in the middle of telling him that Wendy wasn't back yet when the door to the medical area opened, stopping him mid sentence."

"I'm here. . ."

"Her voice wasn't in her usual cheery tone and her hair wasn'tin their usual curls, it was a sad sight to see, this prompted Captain Darling to ask if she was alright. She sniffed before the floodgates opened and the tears started flowing, Wendy practically threw herself onto her brother but she was careful of his wound and she sobbed into his ahoulder. The Captain started shushing her gently and rocking her side to side, Barnaby smiled at the sight before he got up and gestured for me to follow."

"Let's give them some alone time, Wendy seemed pretty shaken up but the Captain should sort that right out."

"Barnaby said as he gave a gentle smile while looking back at the medical area door, it was a little while later when I decided to check on the Darling siblings, I found them both asleep cuddling each other, I smiled fondly as I removed Wendy's hair covering and closed the door gently on my way out, they deserved a good night's rest after the disaster at Wendy's birthday party."
