Rose Tea Lounge seems like a popular boba tea shop. I camped there for a few hours and there was a steady flow of customers. Order at the kiosk.

They have milk tea, fruit tea made with fresh fruit, matcha drinks, fresh tea, slushes, Vietnamese coffee, and fried snacks. However, when I visited, the fryer was broken, so they didn’t have food.

For drinks, you can specify the amount of ice and sweetness level. Drinks are made with ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, organic loose leaf teas, organic Straus milk, fresh seasonal fruits, organic cane sugar, and freshly roasted coffee beans. They have interesting add-ins like jasmine tea jelly, pumpkin spice foam (not available), lychee bits, matcha foam, peach bits, coconut milk pudding, etc. And yes, they also have typical add-ins like boba, grass jelly, aloe vera, etc.

Tie Guan Yin Oolong Milk Tea ($6): Blend of medium and dark roasted oolong with a toasty and earthy aroma. The tea flavor was quite strong but not bitter. The drink also seemed creamy and richer than I expected (whole milk?). The shiny cup was pretty. The interior looked a little run down and dark.

Online ordering available. Free wi-fi. Parking was easy to find.

We dine out most weekends since mum like to visit the local supermarket for some grocery shopping. As per the usual, I will check out Nine Fresh (九鲜) to see what promotion they have for the current month. They have brought back the Lychee Red Tea Ai-Yu Jelly promotion plus new Tang Yuan (汤圆) selections.

I took Lychee Tea Ai-Yu A (荔枝红茶爱玉冻) which comes with lychee tea ai-yu, konjac jelly, black pearl and taro balls. Somehow my tastebuds think the lychee tea ai-yu tasted more floral than the actual fruit. Mum’s Fruity Ai-Yu Jelly (水果晶球爱玉冻) has aloe vera pearl jelly, mango pearl jelly, konjac jelly, milk ball and taro balls. Plus, I asked for sweetened red beans to be added so the price is S$3.80 + S$0.70.

He shuts all the blinds, dims the lights, carefully drapes one of the couch blankets over him, and silently reads in the chair across from him (He definitely glances over a few times between pages)

And maybe just maybe one day Aziraphales curiosity gets the best of him and Crowley wakes up to see him comfortably sleeping in his chair so he decides to get up, remove the book from his lap, and drape the now warm blanket over him instead
