I feel like someone needs to protect Zero from Magnai--I mean, she can certainly take care of herself, but I feel like the second he lays eyes on her, he's gonna Nhaama-zone her.

how does pony government work in the skyscraper gods universe? Like the gala and other stuff? How do royal courts work?
Other places in the world do have monarchies, but equestria does not. It's governed by stewards appointed by the sun in places where she cares, and elected officials where she does not. It's a messy system and is in dire need of an overhaul. There is a lot of "this is the will of god" without actually consulting God, and she can't be bothered to care about import taxes on turnips. So it's a theocracy but God participates sometimes.
Equestrians refer to the gods as "princesses" but they are borrowing the term from neighboring countries that have actual royalty. With the return of Luna and the emergence of 2-3 more deities, it's a very strange time and political systems are going to start fracturing.
It's less "the divine right of kings" and more "the divine have a right to be kings" with that "right" being both a political and theological question.
The question is arising: does divinity grant you political authority? Should it? Does the goddess of love actually have a right to rule a kingdom of people completely foreign to her just because there was a power vacuum? Does having a horn and wings somehow make her more qualified than a pony who is actually part of that kingdom?
The sun willed it, so it shall be.
But that doesn't mean it's right.

Y/N: please don't bite the kids.
Sun and Moon signs: (your dentist will be disappointed.)
Y/N: i mean yeah?? but also?? don't bite kids?? period??
*Y/N is an ex-Fazbear technician! they built Sun and Moon's chibi bodies to fulfill a promise to an old friend

Rowan lingered in the steep hills above the southern entrance to the camp. He'd easily kept hidden from the sentries in the trees, his wind masking any trace of his scent.
Down below, spread across the grassy eastern plain, the army camp glittered.
She had to be there. Aelin had to be there.
If they had come so close but wound up being the very thing that had caused Maeve to take Aelin away again, to bring her along to the outpost...
Rowan pushed against the weight in his chest.
The bond within him lay dark and slumbering.
No indication of her proximity.
Essar had no idea that Aelin was being kept here until Elide informed her. How many others hadn't known? How well had Maeve hidden her?
If Aelin wasn't in that camp tomorrow, they'd find Cairn, at least. And get some answers then. Give him a taste of what he'd done--Rowan shut out the thought. He didn't let himself think of what had been done to her.
He'd do that tomorrow, when he saw Cairn.
When he repaid him for every moment of pain.
Overhead, the stars shone clear and bright, and though Mala had only once appeared to him at dawn, on the foothills across this very city, though she might be little more than a strange, mighty being from another world, he offered up a prayer anyway.
Then, he had begged Mala to protect Aelin from Maeve when they entered Doranelle, to give her strength and guidance, and to let her walk out alive. Then, he had begged Mala to let him remain with Aelin, the woman he loved. The goddess had been little more than a sunbeam in the rising dawn, and yet he had felt her smile at him.
Tonight, with only the cold fire of the stars for company, he begged her once more.
A curl of wind sent his prayer drifting to those stars, to the waxing moon silvering the camp, the river, the mountains.
He had killed his way across the world; he had gone to war and back more times than he cared to remember. And despite it all, despite the rage and despair and ice he'd wrapped around his heart, he'd still found Aelin. Every horizon he'd gazed toward, unable and unwilling to rest during those centuries, every mountain and ocean he'd seen and wondered what lay beyond... It had been her. It had been Aelin, the silent call of the mating bond driving him, even when he could not feel it.
They'd walked this dark path together back to the light. He would not let the road end here.
A small hole had been cut into the tent's ceiling.
And through it...
Aelin couldn't fight the trembling in her mouth at the night sky, at the pinpricks of light shining in.
Stars. Just two, but there were stars overhead.
The sky Itselt.
... It was not the heaviness of full night, but rather a murky, graying black.
Dawn. Likely an hour or so away, if the stars remained out. Perhaps she would last long enough to see sunlight.
Fenrys's eyes shot open, and he lifted his head, ears twitching.
Aelin took steadying breaths as Cairn shoved through the tent flaps, offering a glimpse of fires and lightening darkness beyond. Nothing else.
Dawn neared, the stars dimming one by one.
Rowan lurked by the southernmost entrance to the camp, his power thrumming.
Go, a quiet voice urged. Go now.
One last chance. She'd seen the stars overhead. It was as great a gift as any she'd received, greater than the jewels and gowns and art she'd once coveted and amassed in Rifthold. The last gift she would receive, if she played the hand she'd been dealt. If she played him right.
Essar's sister had advised to wait until dawn. When the shift was weakest. When she'd make sure certain guards didn't arrive on time. Go now.
That voice, warm and yet insistent, tugged.
Pushed him toward the camp.
Rowan bared his teeth, his breathing roughening. Lorcan and Gavriel would be waiting for the signal, a flare of his magic, when he got far enough into the camp.
Aelin huffed another laugh, haughty and cool, and gazed toward the ceiling, toward the lightening sky. The last she'd see, if she played this right.
Now, Prince.
He knew that voice, had felt its warmth. And if the Lady of Light herself whispered at his ear...
Rowan didn't give himself time to consider, to rage at the goddess who urged him to act but would gladly sacrifice his mate to the Lock.
So Rowan steeled himself, willing ice into his veins.
She ran--or tried to. With the chains at her feet, on her legs, she could barely walk, but she stumbled past him, knowing he was already twisting, already rising up.
Run-
Fenrys's eyes slid toward hers. Neither needed the silent code between them for the word she beheld in his gaze. The order and plea.
Run.
It was all she needed.
She scrambled to her feet, but halted. Fenrys, pinned by Cairn, met her gaze. Snarled in warning and command. Run.
Aelin ran.
Her weakened legs stumbled on the grass, her still-bound hands restricting the full range of motion, but she ran. Picked a direction, any direction but the river mists to her left, and ran.
The sun was rising, and the army camp... There was motion behind her. Shouting.
She blocked it out and aimed right. Toward the rising sun, as if it were Mala's own welcoming embrace.

i personally think fields of mistria is a good game and worth a shot if u like games like stardew valley
sorry for the late response but OMG YEAH i played like almost all day today lol
and for me personally it has what i think stardew lacked for me? more in depth character interactions/relationships, cooler crafting systems, better museum, and it’s just generally more laid back and not so much a time crunch
plus i’m loving that fishing isn’t difficult af
i love stardew and of course it stands on it’s own and is unique to the genre, but FoM seems to be an amazing change for the formula and genre of recent farming sims. so far…. i don’t have any complaints yet hehe

What is Shirou Emiya's conflict and character throughout the Fate franchise?
If by "throughout the franchise" you mean to say "beyond Fate/stay Night", then I'm sorry to say the answer is none. Shirou is a character who is complete by design. Each route delivers an entirely different answer to his leading question, but they're all very conclusive answers and Nasu shows no interest in expanding on any specific one, mainly because he doesn't want to prop any route as more valid than the other two.
Despite all the survivor's guilt making Shirou's will less pure and beautiful than it could be, Shirou is someone shaped by gratitude for Kiritsugu saving him, the desire to pay forward saving others like he once was, and most openly and centrally, the desire to pay back by saving Kiritsugu from his regrets. Kiritsugu is the dreamer who failed to become who he wanted to be and Shirou is the man who promised to do so in his stead.
In one route, he confronts Saber, a person who lived a complete life as Kiritsugu's ideal. She's driven by regret over how all the sacrifice and self-dehumanization involved accomplished her nothing, but his answer is to reaffirm her choices and convince her that her life was one worth living and an example to be followed.
In one route, he confronts Archer, his own regret over how all the sacrifice and self-dehumanization involved accomplished him nothing. His answer here is to study Kiritsugu's ideals harder and reaffirm their beauty, but always have Rin by his side as a reminder to have moderation.
And in one route, the root of the conflict is Sakura. Sakura is to Shirou what Shirou himself was to Kiritsugu. Someone he saved and someone through he learned what it means to save someone. The more he pays attention to Sakura, the more he understands how happy and healing it is to be someone's hero. But Sakura threatens the collective, so Kiritsugu's ideal needs to kill her. Shirou's answer here is that living the life Kiritsugu lived is a better choice than becoming his ideals. Shirou becomes Kiritsugu in the truest sense in Heaven's Feel, actualizing not his dreams but the real happiness he obtained in the last years of his life.
The answers are mutually exclusive, but they're all perfectly wrapped up within their stories. Kagetsu has Shiki confront his forgotten fears and manifests Nanaya as the man Shiki is afraid of becoming if he loses his values, but in its Fate/ equivalent, Hollow Ataraxia, the twist is that Shirou is not a character in it at all, being replaced by Angra Mainyu all along and serving only as the happy and beloved position that ultimately makes Angra defeat his own purposes. Shirou didn't need to be in the pseudo-sequel because he's already complete.
Tumblr media
Fate/Extra picks up Archer and gives him an arc where he needs to find his own answer to his regrets through Hakuno since paradox suicide is not an option here, and the end result is him coming back in FGO as someone much less bitter and more in tune with Angra's portrayal of Shirou in HA. It's less of a 4th answer for Shirou and more of an "and then what next?" to his resolution in UBW.
And then GO also has Muramasa, which is an entirely different person, but one shaped by the exact same brand of survivor's guilt inspiring a wish to save strangers. Now this one really serves as a 4th answer to Shirou. It's an old man's answer, and for that reason, it's closer to Kiritsugu's answer than any of Shirou's. Muramasa never abandoned the ideal of saving as many as possible, but he reached one answer that the young Shirou never even considered in any route: "It doesn't have to be me". Much like Kiritsugu found ultimate satisfaction in the promise Shirou would live his ideals in his stead, Muramasa found ultimate satisfaction in the promise Arthuria and Fujimaru will live his ideals in his stead.

You know I realize I forgot to mention this before in the Crocodile Power Level Speculation Post/Ask (btw I did go back to edit it so it's actually legible and has a point now lmao)
I really wanna know if Croc has any new tricks with his hook
Like in Alabasta the dude had a poison hook under his regular hook, which was also hiding a tiny blade beneath it as well. This is all fine and dandy, absolutely iconic etc etc
And then we never see him reuse either feature again.
Now to be fair, the only other time we could've seen Crocodile use them would've been in Marineford, but the dude just escaped from prison. Although people are quick to meme about the Marines being 'kind enough' to let Crocodile keep his gigantic fucking hook in prison-- If we're being realistic here, they probably let him keep the base of the hook simply because without a hand any shackle would just slide off his wrist and fall off. Of course he wouldn't still be able to escape or anything since he'd still have the Seastone cuff on his right, but if they wanted to keep him properly shackled then letting him keep even just the hook base would just be the easiest option for the Marines.
It's the fact that the Marines went out of their way to retrieve his missing hook attachment and gave it back to him that's a bit wild
But let's keep in mind that Luffy did break the poison hook back in Alabasta. Even if the Marines let Croc keep the hook attachment, I find it extremely unlikely they would've gone out of their way to fix/replaced the poison hook when the guy's going to jail anyways. If anything it'd make far more sense if they got rid of whatever poison might've still been left in the base and confiscated the blade. Like there's an argument to be made for the Marines letting Crocodile keep his hook due to disability reasons, but the poison and the purely stabby weapon? Not so much
So really, it's very likely the reason Crocodile never used his other weapons in Marineford might've just been that he literally didn't have them on him at the time, just the basic hook
But hey, it's been two whole whooping years. That would be plenty of time for him to replace the broken hook and blade and get some new poison into the hook base too while he's at it
Or
Are there any new weapons Crocodile could've gotten inserted into his hook base that he could whip out
Tumblr media
Like just because he could get a new poison hook it doesn't mean he has to get a poison hook, same for the blade as well, right
To be fair, dude feels very old fashioned so I'm not expecting any Inspector Gadget kinda tech from him. Like I don't think Crocodile's knowledgeable about stuff like that himself, at least not enough to install any technically advanced weaponry into the hook on his own, and IDK if he'd trust his hook with anyone to "upgrade it" either for an extended period of time either
But could you imagine if Croc had gotten access to a busted ass Pacifista and stole a laser and had it built into his hook base. He just pulls of the hook and starts blasting people with the laser. How fucking funny would that be. Franky eat your heart out
#Moon posting#OP Meta#Sir Crocodile#A machine gun inside his hook would also be funny as hell but. Dude can create giant sand blades what does he need a gun for#Honestly I think the coolest and unironically the most useful new hidden weapon Croc could potentially have in his hook base#Would be some kind of a Seastone weapon. Like a Seastone Hook or a blade or even just a stick like Smoker's#That shit would be so OP but also make him such a massive threat. Like much more than his poison hook ever did#It's just where the fuck would he even get a custom Seastone weapon to build in to his hook#Like it's the WG who hoards the shit for themselves so getting one would not be easy. Or cheap#Since you can't just make stuff out of Seastone yourself like you need specialists for it etc#But like I said. I think it'd be the coolest fucking thing he could possibly whip out#Aside from a Pacifista Beam but lmao that ain't happening as funny as it'd be#For the record yes it is possible Croc's hook isn't detachable at all#I just have to question how he ever changes clothes if he can't even take the hook off#Also for the record. Croc's hook could've been treated the same way his clothes were treated in Impel Down#Like Oda totally could've just drawn him without the hook and then just told us in the SBS the Newkama had stolen it from the guards#And returned it to Crocodile after he escaped since he could use it etc. While he got some fresh clothes to wear etc#Like that totally could've been an off-screen thing that could've happened. But if it was something that unimportant then why even bother#He might as well keep the hook for the brief scene in the jail cell because it doesn't actually matter for the narrative

They've finally given us a break from the angst! :D And have given us so much lore, golly gee-
First of all👆: HELL YEAH SUN, GO OFF!!! Seeing him talk back to Eclipse and the Creator has healed me!
After these episodes, the Creator has officially gained the first place for biggest god complex- WE HAVE A LITERAL GOD ECLIPSE, AND HE SOMEHOW OUT-COMPLEXES HIM, HOW THE HELL IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?? Mfer is taking it to a whole new level! At least God Eclipse stays in his own damn dimension!
As for Ruin…he is so interesting, HELP- How does he know all this??👀 Who is he??? I am very certain now, that he lied to Bloodmoon about his creation! He did say he "suffered one", which can have a lot of implications. Of course there's the obvious, which is what he did to their dimension, but there is also the possibility, that Ruin was never a daycare attendant at all. Maybe he was created for the virus, and was kept around by his creator?🤔 Maybe their relationship was a lot more personal??
There's also the dimensions in general! We know Stitchwraith's origin now, or at least the reason for it. There are only thirteen in all the dimensions combined👀 It really makes me hope for a deeper look into the multiverse in general!
But there's also Eclipse. And then there is Lunar. Both of them actively defy fate.
Most Eclipses die, be it still in Sun, or shortly after. Yet our Eclipse keeps on dragging himself out of his grave. He dies and keeps dying, yet he won't. stay. dead. He actively laughs in death's face. And that is so intriguing!
And there's of course everything surrounding Lunar. For one, the Creator wants to use them. It's so ironic, to be honest. They were created to be used, and now that they finally want to move on, want to leave this part of their life behind, there's this giant, looming threat, wanting to use them again. And unlike other villains, this one cannot be stopped! This one is on another level, and not even Moon knows what to do about him!
There are also their powers. This wasn't supposed to happen. And the way Ruin worded it, it seems that Lunar is the first of a kind! And it makes me wonder why. What makes our Lunar different? What makes them so special? Was it really just a cosmic storm? Or was there a higher power involved? I an literally shaking in my seat about it!
Also, on a side note: the amount of angst possibilities Ruin has opened up by talking about what the creator council would do to Lunar, Jesus christ-
-Stardust
RIGHT LMAO back to your regularly scheduled external horrors!! 😁
GHOD YEA SUN JUST CAME OUT GUNS A-BLAZING THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY WILD 2 ME. My man is at his LIMIT!!!
AND GHOD YEA THE CREATOR. THIS MAN HAS SOME GALL. Honestly tho the fact that he wants to use Lunar's star power is a sign to me that Ruin probably wasn't at all lying or exaggerating about the Creator Council's motives. Honestly, he was probably the one who gave them the idea in the first place 😭
AND RUIN,,, HONESTLY YEA I'VE BEEN WONDERING THE SAME THING. If all of this is so multiversal, it raises SO many questions as to how Ruin knows about things like their plans and motives. MAN if it turns out that Ruin was basically a living weapon made to stand next to the creator, I will go INSANE. (Smth smth Lunar n Eclipse parallels too.....)
ANS AUAAGAGGHHH YEA THE WORLDS OMG. The fact that most Eclipses die is smth both insanely tragic and insanely ironic to me. Like it's so sad to think that so many of them didn't make it past our Eclipse's point and just,, died alone and bitter in a body that wasn't their own. But also it's almost unfathomable bc like u said, that man does NOT STAY DOWN.
AND LUNAR,,,, GHOD YEA LUNAR. It makes sense if they're one of a kind because honestly, if there were others who had star power literally threaded into their being, the Creators could have easily gone for that person instead, yk?? But that fact is simultaneously horrifying and intriguing tbh HDJAHAJS BUT ITS LIKE U SAID, WHAT MAKES THEM SPECIAL HERE.
THERE'S SO MICH FUN STUFF REVEALED FROM THOSE TWO EPS LIKE AOAUAGAHGHHH EXCITING!!!!
